STAY AT YOUT OWN RISK!
My first complaint: upon checkin, the guy at the desk said I need another credit card for a $20 cleaning deposit. Nowhere was this mentioned when I made my reservations.
2nd: the hotel is under construction which is fine bc they def need to do a remodel but they had signs up, the desk guy gives me 1 room key with room 183, ok cool. How do I get there, I ask myself bc the guy never said where to go? Followed the signs but the entrance is blocked off due to construction so I asked the guy and he said oh, well you need to drive around to the side and use the side entrance. I did just as he asked. STILL cant get to the room due to construction. So we finally made it to the room after going to the 2nd side door.
3rd: Today we get back from the race and low and behold the door to our room isnt locked or closed completely. I just pushed on the door and BOOM I walked right in without using a key. Housekeeping didnt close the door all the way so my room is basically a free for all for anyone who wanted to make themselves at home. I called the front desk and he told me there was nothing he or the manager could do bc nothing was stolen. REALLY?!?! Went down and yelled at the manager and he gave me a measly 25% refund. At least it's something but some on! My laptop, clothes, diescast, and other personal items were in MY room.
Moral of the story, dont stay here if you want to feel like your belongings are safe while your away or if you dont mind going on wild goose chases to find your room.
