Worst experience my family and I have ever had, the only reason this place is still in business is location! Worn out nasty rooms, arrived to find room dirty, had to look at 2 more rooms to see if any better, they were worse! No time to check around for another place to stay, so made the best of a horrible situation! This place needs to be totally redone in every aspect!

Stayed at over 15 Hilton locations this is by far the worst. It has continued to get worse each year. Breakfast was horrible which was $12.99 a person. Food was cold, cook came in putting on a dirty chef coat he was carrying after he got dressed at the bar his attitude was horrible so I tried to at least eat a danish which I put in the toaster to warm up as everything else was cold then got blasted by a server saying we don’t do that here I said sorry did I miss a sign she replied no we used to have one up and will put it back up again very nasty. Very pissed now that I will be hungry starting today as I was the one to wake everyone up to come eat very bad visit I wished I could give them negative stars and run the server through the toaster! Will be our last stay here all around negativity fro staff!

Great location only about a 5 minute walk to the strip. Nice clean rooms nice staff!

Dirty, our sheets were stained AND had holes in them, the pillow case looked like it had fresh blood on it, the tub was so dirty the floor in the tub had black stuff and when we asked about it we were told they couldn’t do anything about it so we had to go buy our own cleaning supplies, which fixed it with about 4 minutes of cleaning, shower shelves were cracked and had black mold growing in the cracks. To top it off when we checked out the boy at the desk was playing in his phone and said he would put us down shortly as checked out and now we have a charge for a third night when we only stayed two nights. EXTREMELY disappointed would NOT recommend this Hilton hotel to anyone. I’ve included some pictures but not all.

We love to stay at this hotel. They now appear to have the bar straightened out as well. We had a short, though great stay this time. One of the nicest hotels in Gatlinburg.

Great views from the balcony! The location was close enough to downtown to walk to the main strip. Would definitely stay there again!

Service has been absolutely amazing! So kind and willing to help. Also had let them know that we were staying for our wedding and when we checked in and came to our room there was a cute little chocolate cake with a red heart waiting on the table for us! Not a cheap cake either absolutely delish. Rooms are clean, smells great, and well stocked. I will stay here again!

Beautiful hotel and great customer service! It’s right by the main strip and is super convenient to walk to all of the shops and restaurants. The hotel felt very clean and are following all proper procedures for COVID. They are requiring masks which we respected a lot. My only complaint is the beds were not very comfortable and each morning I woke up very stiff. The 7 hour drive home was hard because I was limited as to how far I could turn my neck. I will definitely consider coming back but might bring my own pillows and hope to sleep better.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn 5/15-5/17. The second night we got no sleep due to the common area by the fire pit that was supposed to be closed at 11pm was left open to drunken, noisy patrons. Upon checkout, I complained and was told that others had also complained and was told that we'd receive a discount. Upon looking at my bank statement, no discount was given. This could have been avoided if the said common area had been closed at the posted time of 11pm. Also, if a staff member offers a discount, they need to make sure they aren't lying to the patrons. We won't be back and definitely won't recommend this establishment to any family or friends!

It was an awesome Valentine’s weekend! Hotel was great. Fire pit was romantic and quiet! Very close to everything. Parked our car Thursday and walked everywhere we went. Recommend it highly!

On arrival, welcomed, very clean rooms, breakfast waitress fantastic. She was friendly, helpful, her name Norma Jean, can say enough good things about her.

Very nice rooms, great location. Greatly enjoyed the space as well as the in-room jacuzzi. Comfortable, clean. Disappointed in the lack of complimentary breakfast, but we had planned to eat elsewhere anyway.

Nice hotel located about a couple of blocks off the Strip, but currently undergoing lobby renovations. 15 min walk to Anakeesta, 10 min to mid strip. Rooms are clean and a good size with comfy beds and pillows. Microwave and fridge are a plus. However, for the price they charge, they should offer free breakfast. We love Gatlinburg, but I think other hotels may be better value.

Most people don't go on vacation to spend anymore time in the hotel than that absolutely have to. However, sometimes picking the cheapest hotel has its consequences. As someone who has stayed in multiple hotels within Gatlinburg over the past few years, I can promise you that the Hilton does not disappoint in quality nor does it compare to other places to stay. The hotel itself is updated and visually appealing, a characteristic that isn't important to most but is sometimes an indicator of the upkeep efforts by owners and staff. If breakfast has any impact on your hotel decision, look no further. This place offers a made-to-order breakfast with an ample choice of options sure to make any eater happy (I personally recommend the omelet with everything included). The breakfast is also all you can eat in case you decide that you'd like another after the first one fills you up. Overall, you get what you pay for. My last visit to Gatlinburg was last minute with family members and we stayed at a hotel just a few blocks away, not the Hilton. We paid the toll when we discovered a huge stain on the sheets as well as broken amenities and a run down look. So if you're trying to enjoy your vacation to the full extent, pick the place that takes pride in its name: The Hilton.

Beautiful hotel. Looks just like pictures on website. Rooms clean and beautifully decorated. Fireplace was a nice added touch. Hot tub jets weren't strong but they were working on that. Indoor pool that was beautiful but we didn't get in. Breakfast although not complimentary it was really good, my hubby spent $13 and it was more than enough for the both of us. Beds were pretty comfortable. This hotel was in walking distance to it all but on the back side of the strip where it was nice and quiet. I love that the lobby has complimentary flavored water and coffee all day.

Stayed here for my honeymoon and had a wonderful time; my wife and I got free drink vouchers and had a special delivery of champagne and desserts free from the hotel. The staff was wonderful and always welcoming, especially over in the restaurant. The food there is also amazing with the option of room service. Will probably stay here again the next time we visit Gatlinburg. Being right on the strip its easy to walk everywhere and when you get back to the hotel there's complimentary vitamin water in the lobby and fresh coffee. 10/10 would recommend.

We have stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn for 6 nights in May every year since the year after it was built. It was once great, but has gone way downhill. Our suite was dark, dingy, and had a terrible odor near the commode. The once comfortable mattresses gave way to a soft, lumpy one — not good for bad backs and people with chronic pain. The mattress was smaller than the platform, and so it was easy to whack your shin (we had complained about this before). The sofa and chair were dingy and uncomfortable. The sofa was so low it was hard to get out of! We filled out the survey that Hilton sent after our stay, and in spite of low ratings and comments, we heard nothing from them. The only bright spot was the restaurant — friendly staff we enjoy seeing every year, and great room service. We’d like to keep staying there, since we love the location, but unless we hear from them that the rooms will be renovated, we will have to find another favorite.

The rooms where great, except for the air conditioning. It seemed like it would pretty much constantly run unless it was set to 75 degrees and then it would get really humid. Also the hot tub was out of order until the last night that we were there which was a bummer. The service was wonderful though. We locked our keys in our car on the day we were leaving and the GM actually came out to help us! She called the local police and recommend an affordable towing service. They even offered me a room to breastfeed my 4 month old!

Probably one of the nicest places to stay in Gatlinburg. Place is clean and updated with friendly staff and nice touches like cookies and coffee in the evenings. Wish there was breakfast included but still a recommended place to stay overall.

We had a wonderful time… We were upgraded to a balcony suite, enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and loved the location. My only complaint is that the complimentary beverages in the lobby usually had no decaf coffee in the evening or sugar-free cold drink in the afternoon. Other than that. A perfect stay!

Nice rooms. Modern. Probably one of the most upscale places in Gatlinburg. Made to order breakfast omelettes were delicious. Faint cleaning chemical smell in lobby.

There are a lot of great “mom and pop” places to stay in Gatlinburg, but sometimes I just want a great hotel, with a great location, with the hotel amenities. This is the spot! We were highly pleased. Very relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch the people walking by.

Nice hotel. Within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. Staff was very friendly. We were able check in early even though the room was not ready. My favorite place was the courtyard with firepit and hot tub. So relaxing and cozy. The beds are not extremely comfortable but manageable. I wish hotels would realize they need to upgrade mattresses.

Our room was on the 5th (top) floor and had a fireplace, whirlpool tub and a small balcony w view of the river and hillside. The room was v clean, maid service was unobtrusive and we were well supplied w towels and toiletries. Breakfast was affordable and service was cheerful. Only problem was w fireplace. After the fire was shut off the glass shield popped off with a loud bang and the hardware holding it fell apart. It was our last night — we reported it when we checked out.

Another fun visit to Hilton Garden Inn in Gatlinburg. We travel here often and always stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful and the accommodations are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served until 10:30 each morning buffet style or made-to-order. Parking is free in the large, well lit lot behind the hotel. Conveniently located on River Road you can easily walk to the main strip as well as several restaurants just blocks away.

Room was clean and service was excellent. Location was amazing. You are close to everything! Breakfast is not free unless it is a part of your hotel pass. Kids enjoyed jacuzzi and pool.

Brought my wife down for the weekend for our birthdays, I've stayed here many times in past on business but this was for personal. The staff found out about our birthdays and had put a surprise package and snacks in our room. ALL the staff here are kind and professional. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Gatlinburg. Plus you can walk the strip and never have to use your car. Thanks for a great weekend!

Such a great place to stay! Great outdoors hot tub that we utilized while it snowed (so cool! ), Nice indoor pool. Breakfast was reasonably priced and good. Bar was limited, but still nice — a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the convenience. Rooms were clean and updated, along with common areas. Military discount. Happy guests overall! Would certainly recommend!

I was traveling for a comedy show in Knoxville when I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Gatlinburg. I really enjoyed my night there. The location is perfect — — park around back (no problem with spaces), and you can walk right into a street filled with Gatlinburg's many attractions. The hotel's maybe a block or two from the entrance to Ripley's Aquarium, for instance. The site itself and the rooms have a nice, but not overdone, touch of Arts and Crafts style. It shows up in the …windows, lighting design and certain furniture pieces. Check in was handled quickly and easily. My room was perfect. Roomy, well furnished with recently-refreshed furniture (or it appeared to be, at least), a firm king bed, refrigerator, and microwave. I travel with a few devices, so I was really happy with the amount of power available. There was a lamp with an outlet on each nightstand, an alarm clock with two USB ports, and extra power available on the spacious, well-lit desk (another big deal for me, since I often work in the room). I didn't get a chance to use the indoor pool, or Jacuzzi, but they're in a beautiful, clean room, and the people using them when I came and left were having a ball. Definitely stay at Hilton Garden Inn Gatlinburg, if you get a chance.
