It was extremely dirty and there were bed bugs when you looked between the matress and the head board. Manigment was very accommodating, but after they upgraded us the 3rd time and that room wasn't as dirty as the previous two, but when we found the bed bug, we were done! I hope they get it together because it had allot of potential.

This deserves no stars! This place should not be in business! It's scary and the pictures that are shown are of the econo Lodge rooms who bought the Chalet inn. The floor was weak and and loud with every step you took. The curtains were barely on the rods. The bed looked 50 years old. Stains from who knows what everywhere! Balcony even had a weak floor! Thankfully they gave us a full refund and were nice about it. I would have taken pictures but I was too busy trying to get the heck out of there and praying I could get out money back! Do not stay here! It could be a trip ruiner!

We loved our stay! The staff are nice and accommodating. Alexis was extremely helpful. I loved the private feel with a beautiful mountain view. The pool was great. Looking forward to our next stay! The renovation work is exciting, but I honestly love it just the way it is! Wouldn't change a thing.

Disgusting place. We booked because they have nice pictures online, but that’s only a couple of rooms. You will be staying in a tiny room in the basement after being highly overcharged.

We have stayed here before and it was soon after the fires so we were very lenient. On the second trip we thought we would give it another try, it has been 8 months later. The first night we had to switch rooms at 11p. M. Due to a strong septic smell. When we arrived at the second room the view was great but the t. V. Only picks up limited channels, the fireplace keeps switching off due to an electrical issue, and the phones did not work. On the second night we get back to the room at 11:30 p. M. To find that we were locked out and our keys had been deactivated. We have requested to speak with management a second time.

Recently stayed in this property. Front office is closed. For a while I thought that we are staying in haunted house. Check in and check out is done somewhere else 0.7 miles away from property. No room service. Breakfast is also not served within hotel. In the morning hotel management expect you to walk all the way to other lodge. Definitely not at value for money. Not at all recommend. This should be last option to book in Gatlinburg.

The pool is not the vi, I did not like the breakfast, very basic, the rooms require a change of curtains that host dust and the rooms smell of humidity, care people allergic.

Our room was absolutely filthy. There was a white substance all over the floor. Blinds were laying on a chair. Our room lock looked like it had been broken in the past. We had no heat in our room. We checked in at a separate location, and checked out 10 minutes later. I do not recommend staying here.

Room was a bit dated, and a few bugs got in, but it had a great view from the balcony. There was also a door that opened directly to the parking area in one corner of the room, which was very convenient as I didn't have to walk through the hallway and out the lobby to get to my vehicle. Enjoyed my stay and it's proximity to much of what there is to do in Gatlinburg.

It is a good hotel, very cute, but could use some updating and a little better cleaning. Found trash under the bed and carpet was dirty. But over all it wasn't bad. Great view.

Had to go to a different hotel to check in. That wouldn't have been so bad had I known in advance. The fire place is fake. Only 2 pillows on a king size bed. TV doesn't work. The heat was not turned on and it was 18 degrees outside. After running heat all night the room is still chilly. The bathroom has no heat. The tile floors in the bathroom are colder than outside.

Older outdated lodge that is off main street but convenient driving to most attractions. It is a no frills lodging with descent bed at a good price. The parking side has woods across drive. Good view.

The room was perfect for our quick weekend get away. The decor and appliances were outdated, but everything important worked and the fireplace was beautiful. We were not informed prior to check in that the property was managed by the econo lodge down the street, but this wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Overall, for the price, this hotel had what we needed and our stay was pleasant. The view from the balcony was great.

First time I stayed, I had no complaints with my room. However, the second time I got a room on a lower floor that had a strong mold smell to it. The hallway had several insects and leaves in it. The only plus I could find was the beautiful view from the balcony.

Very cozy! Our room was huge, had a jacuzzi tub. We loved the balcony! The pool was very nice. Can't wait to see it fully updated.

The room smelled like mildew or mold. The shower didn't drain. There was a clump of hair in the toilet when we arrived. There was someone else's food in the fridge. The carpet was not seamed well. We couldn't find the remote to the tv. We looked behind the night stand and found an empty Styrofoam cup… looked under the bed… found the remote amongst several pieces of trash (a water bottle, napkins, etc). The pillow cases were stained. The tile in the bathroom chipped. The ceiling in the bathroom was pushed up. When we arrived there was a note on the door that we had to go back down to check in at another hotel and come back to our room. Overall the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. Wouldn't stay there again or recommend to anyone else. The ONLY good thing about this hotel was the location.

First thing first check in at the Econo lodge office first! Me and my wife stayed here for are honeymoon and it was a great and wonderful stay. It is in the middle of everything and walking distance. This place is dated but it had a nice nostalgia 70s vibe to it.

Clean but dated. Quiet but if you are walking to town the walk back is straight uphill. This place is also not by the river like it claims and the photos are no where near acurate. I probably would not stay here again.

This place is terrifying. The room wasn't too bad, but the hall looked like it came from a horror movie. We got trapped in the pool by a bear. Like an actual bear, that apparently they were aware of and neglected to warn us about. And the man working at the front desk could only be described as incompetent.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, outside walkway filthy, pillows so small the pillowcase was folded over, carpet dirty, broken knobs on dresser, toilet the wobbles. Although the view is nice the pictures on this web site are not accurate at all, the pool area does not look anything like the pictures. Find another place to stay.

Spent our 15th anniversary here. It was clean and very large. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Great staff with a personal touch. Saw bears every morning. This chalet has earned life long customers.

When I arrived, it wasnt until I saw a sign on the door that I knew to drive back down the hill to retrieve the key to the room. The photos online are nothing at all like the rooms. This is a non smoking room, but it smells like smoke. The bathroom was dirty. The managment was nice.

Decadent. Former chalet of the ski resort, which has been converted, but continues as in the seventies. And flee from there.

Really lovely location with large clean rooms. Away from the main drag with a fantastic view from the pool. Check in was at the Econo Lodge down the hill.

It is very out dated. The hot tub was in another room with nasty carpeting. We just couldn't stay another night. Please take my advise and save your money and stay at another hotel. Signed, very disappointed : (: (

Property is in a nice location, but it is very out dated. Could be a nice place with a serious facelift. Would not stay here again until some upgrades are done.

Chose not to stay. Booked another hotel.
