Do not stay at this hotel. I don't want spend half an hour writing a review, but do not stay at this hotel — take my word for it. It should be named the "Low Quality Inn. "

The indoor pool, and it's family friendly for Larg family's.

Our room was clean, quiet, and bug-free. Staff was nice. The pool area was one of the best. And couldn't beat a 196 dollar price for 3 nights. Will definitely come back to stay on our next trip to Tennessee.

Check-in was quick. Just needed somewhere to crash on my long road trip Good price The rooms are very spacious, could have a king or queen bed for same amount of money. The bathroom! Huge, compared to any other hotel/motel I've ever been in. WOW! Will return, should I am this way again & need a place to crash. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Hot tub was beautiful temp was perfect pool was heated really nice. Breakfast has certainly improved since. 8/3/19. All around their improvements are excellent. Beds were alot better also. We will definitely be coming back for visits.

They have a beautiful indoor pool and jacuzzi. Nice area to hang out. Rooms have been remolded. Just regular. But pool is great. ;location is great to.

The hotel is under new management and renovations. The rooms are nice and the pool is awesome. Free breakfast. Once everything is complete it will be a thriving hotel and an asset to the community.

Rooms were clean and it was quiet.

My television doesn't work. I don't think the mini fridge does either. Well I just checked it & it barely does.

We came and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is under new managment and has some remodeling going on but the manager David is the best! He treated us like royal. Made sure we had what we needed and was taken care of if we needed something. We will def be back and cant wait to see what it will look like once the remodel is done :)

They have made a lot of changes. The hotel is clean and seems very safe now.

It's very clean. They pool is nice and the staff is very helpful. I recommend this place.

An absolute dump. The place is literally falling apart. The breakfast area had 2 pails collecting water leaking from the ceiling and out of order signs on the juice machine & another one. The bathroom shower was old and dirty. The concrete floor around the pool area, hallways, & exterior were cracking apart. The rear exterior door lock was taped so it wouldn't lock because the room card reader was broken.

Appears that they are beginning to update areas of this hotel. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, AC was not loud and there was microwave and fridge. Hopefully if they continue to clean and redecorate it will be a nice place to stay.

Hotel old and lower end but they are in the midst of updating the facilities. Our room was recent redone and quite nice. The king bed was very firm but comfortable. Pool was ean and well kept, parking was well lit and had good camera coverage. The front desk was awesome and very nice to deal with event 11:30pm. Would stay again for the price.

Stayed at the hotel one night and fridges was not cold. Most of the hotel was not visually appealing. Lots of renovation things around. Pool did not look clean. However staff was nice. Breakfast was alright. Just wished the place was more appealing l.

Do yourself a favor. Open "View more comments" and read all the reviews. Don't just scroll down to the maps and photos or you won't get an accurate idea of what this place is really like. It's more reasonably priced than some motels in Newport, but you know what people say about getting what you pay for. I would also suggest a walkaround and looking at a room or two before committing to a room there. And based on my experience, don't expect a credit card and confirmation number to guarantee you'll have a room waiting when you get there.

Got to the room, AC was not working, ceiling looked like it had water damage, room had a funky smell, water in the sink & bathtub run constantly. When getting into bed I heard a loud pop, found a board had fell from bottom of the bed. Next morning after shower found roaches on bathroom wall. Complimentary breakfast area had ants crawling EVERYWHERE. (We did NOT eat) workers were working around the ants. Not a place I will be taking my family back to.

We stayed at this hotel on March, 22nd of 2018. We we're out of the room. Ist if the day but I'll n the evening we went to shower and the water did not work in the shower. Called to the desk they did not do anything. That afternoon upon our arrival we decided to go swimming in there really nice looking swimming pool. We all sat down in the kiddie pool because we had little ones with us and as we all stood up we realized we all had blue paint on our butts where we were sitting. So yes the paint in the pool was wet so when we got out of the pool our bathing suits match the color of the swimming pool. And they had a nice complimentary breakfast as we went down to eat breakfast there were little ants crawling all over the counter around the condiment trays and the cooler for the yogurt and the juice machine. Upon checking out we mentioned all this to the desk staff they said okay no mention of a refund no mention of a percentage off of our room nothing. So in my opinion I will nor not any nor should anyone ever stay at this hotel.

Rooms look nothing like photo… tub stained from not being cleaned sheets have burn holes baseboard raggedy pillows stink like trucker been in bed floor wet/damp to the touch.

We had a totally great experience here. Don’t be scared off by the rough look of the exterior or inner hallways. Our room was nicely renovated, spacious, with all the amenities. Swimming pool, hot tub. Marble floors and tile counters and thicker towels and good pillows. The flat TV was giant and great cable package. The staff were so helpful and sweet, a friendly mix of locals and Indian owners. They are working round the clock to bring this former Holiday Inn back up to par with other nice motels, after years of neglect. The sweet Indian lady I spoke to upon leaving said that next time when we stay with them she will cook us an East Indian meal. We will definitely be back since we travel i40 often.

One of the worst hotels I've ever been to. The pool and hot tub we're green and slime floating on the top. Bed sheets had not been changed, found food crumbs on the sheets. Coffee pot in the room was broken, and everything was so dirty. Do not recommend.

Great first time experience. We will visit again soon. Great staff from the initial phone call to the final check out. Great facility with a wonderful indoor pool and hot tub. Room is nothing fancy but a very relaxing experience. All you'd need for a vacation. Breakfast is a plus as well, saves you from eating that meal out! I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

They have a waffle iron to make your own waffle. Real breakfast. Not just coffee juice and bagel. Bisquits gravy eggs cereal sausage. And the price. And they have smoking and pet rooms. Would give 1000 stars.

Very, very friendly place, great location, decent rooms, staff is VERY friendly, beds could be a little more comfy but hey for the price you can't beat it. Drove 5 1/2 hours to get here and am not disappointed one bit.

The rooms may be nice for the area, but the manager behind the desk is a liar, is rude, condescending and arrogant. He severely needs a lesson in communicating with his customers so that everything is clear before plans are made. A little humility wouldn't kill him either. Beware you see a man that looks like a weasel with a ferret face he's not the one to do business with. Since when can a manager not accommodate the needs of a guest.

This place was a dump. Would never have stayed but drove into a sudden ice storm New Year’s Eve 2017. Had no options everything was booked roads horrible so slept in my clothes left 1st thing next morning. Rate was horrible for facilities had roll away beds in halls with huge stains in them walls with holes curtains in room were nasty stains on bedding Smelled as soon as you walked in looked like it needed serious cleaning and remodel. Maybe easier to just tear it down. Don’t stay here. Lucky we didn’t pick up bugs here.

Love this place, extremely friendly and have help us thru our dilemma. Highly recommended, continually upgrading. Remodeling is actually taking place. Cosmetic is at least being dealt with. Super clean and owners are very helpful. You are more than just money and a number.

I wish l could give this place less than one star. Absolute worst motel l have ever stayed. Dirty rooms and roaches galore! The last straw was when l woke up with a roach crawling on me! Dirty walls with snot rockets on the walls! Dirty carpet and dusty all around. Management listened with deaf ears to complaints. The only thing this place has going for it is the pool.

Nasty, nasty rooms. Complained bout noise, we arrived after traveling all day slept woke up went down for what we thought would be breakfast only to find the attendant walking around wiping tables with dry napkins then she stepped right outside door wiped her nose then went to kitchen and brought eggs out never washing hands. I know she didn't wash them because she wasn't gone long enough we complained about what was suppose be clean towels still had food and dirt on them Hair in sink and bathtub. Microwave had food spilled in it She assured us it would be taken care of. We were gone 4.5 hrs to return to dirty room still So to the office we went only to be talk to like dogs and she checked us out. Hotel should be closed down.

Very dirty poorly maintained rooms. Hair all between the sheets and on the pillows that were clearly not washed, bugs everywhere, pubic hairs on the toilet, walls, and shower. Awe full customers service we called for an hour straight before someone at the front desk picked up! Ordered cheese sticks and fried pickles, only got the cheese sticks and they were so over done there was no cheese in them. I woke up in the middle of the night to a bed bug crawling on me, when I squished it blood went everywhere it was so gross. We had to go up to he room and show the manager at which point he just really didn’t care. In he end they gave us most of our money back which I’m happy with since we did stay the night. Won’t be back.

Great value for our family's weekend vacation to Gaitlinburg. Our kids really enjoyed the pool and so did me and my husband! It's 9 feet at its deepest, clean and warm! Hot tub was hot and had strong jets. Our room was quaint and clean — fridge and microwave. And the breakfast was clean and good! Little hot bar, and a waffle maker :) I'm so happy with our stay price was right! Service was great too :) the owners said they are even getting new beds/bedding /furniture and an arcade room! We can't wait to see when we come back!

Has a great heated indoor pool and jacuzzi. We stayed in it for hours. Didn't have the overpowering chlorine smell that many do. Nice rooms as well.

Great staff, great owners, they took care of everything we needed. They are working hard to update the property as it has quite a bit of wear and tear, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. All things considered it was a great deal for our stay in Newport.

I was impartial about this place. It seems like they were remodeling or maybe just opening. There was no sign out front, so it was hard yo find. The lady at the counter was outside smoking when we walked in. She finished her cigarette and then came in to greet us. I'm a smoker, customers before cigarettes. The room wasn't bad but there were people just hanging around outside. It was odd. Once we figured out how to get to the pool, we were disappointed. It was obscenely hot in the pool area. The pool water was like bath water but the room had to be close to 90 degrees. The price I paid for the room wasn't bad. I can't be too upset over this. If I were to stay in this area again, I would probably check out one of the other hotels first before booking again.

The location was fine. We only ever saw one employee. She was nice enough. The hotel looks dated and that's fine. What's not fine is the hotel being 100 degrees. The halls are not air conditioned at all. It was hotter inside the hotel than it was outside (it was around 94 out). It took hours for our room to cool down.

I was extremely disappointed with this quality inn. Yes, it's a cheap hotel, but it was still way too expensive for what it was. There was a divot in the wall which was very obviously from someone punching it. The door to the bathroom wouldn't close at all either. There were wooden shims under some furniture to keep it level, and the mattress was a rock. The staff was inattentive and barely spoke two words to us. I only have two real positives about this place. 1. It wasn't dirty. The housekeeping staff did their jobs, even if maintenance didn't. 2. It was next door to a pretty okay waffle house. The staff there, was actually super nice. Will not be staying there again… may go back to waffle house.

We needed a clean, comfortable place to sleep before continuing on our trip. This was an economical choice. It fit the bill with a free breakfast as well. We were satisfied. The only negative was that I am not as comfortable with doors that open outside versus inside. That is simply the design of this hotel. I was also surprised to find the floors were not carpeted. Overall, we were satisfied with the value.

I have never been so displeased with Quality Inn, my family's experience here was horrible. For starters the moldy smell from bathroom was beyond nasty, the room itself looks like it hasn't seen a good cleaning person in ages, and to make matters worse the so called new ac was crap it was so hot and you could feel the heat coming through the door and windows from our pool side room 128. We didn't even get to sleep till after 4am! due to it being miserably hot and the smell from bathroom was overwhelming. Save your money people it's not worth it $114 for a dump, and to be basically be called a liar about our experience. Never again though I'll take by money elsewhere.

Stayed here one night on July 21 just passing through from Florida. The rooms are very clean. The staff was really friendly and the awesome breakfast they have was awesome. The AC didn't seem like it was working in the breakfast room, but it looks like they were maybe working on it and doing some remodeling. I give this 4 star cause they deserve it.

This place is ABSOLUTELY disgusting. Multiple families warned us about it as were we getting ready to check in. They said it's a dump, and that was an understatement. The room was about 95 degrees and reeked of urine. The bathroom was filthy and the shower leaked. An hour after checking in, our entire party left to go to the Holiday in next door which was wonderful. This place was repulsive, avoid at all costs!

This hotel needs alot of updating. The pool itself was clean but it feels like a 100 degrees in the pool area which makes it very uncomfortable to sit in when watching others swim. Something needs to be done with venting the hot air in pool area. Now for the rooms old and need to be updated as well. Beds not terrible but not great. For the air conditioning that is a must that needs to be fixed. A hotel down south and their air conditioning can't keep a small hotel room cool. Had thermostat down to lowest setting and it still felt like 80 in the room. Absolutely rediculous. I will never stay there again. It wasn't just our room either my in laws had the same issue and complained about it. Family member called for an outside room because he couldn't sleep due to it being to hot. I would expect a hotel that is down south to have an efficient air conditioner. I am not happy about our stay at all.

I came in at 2 in the morning and requested a room for 2 adults and 3 kids. The staff was accommodating and quickly got me a room. Unfortunately, the room had 2 full beds, so I asked for a crib or another sleeping surface. I was told that the room with the cribs was locked, and that there was nothing that could be done. So I slept in a chair. When we got up, we discovered how terrible the room was. The phone didn't work. The floor was filthy. The soles of our feet were blackened from walking barefoot on it. The bathtub drain was clogged. The wall around the shower head was cracked open and water was leaking from the base of the shower head. The hair dryer didn't work. There was a lovely smoke and decay aroma throughout the room. My complaints were met by a meager refund and very little concern by the manager.

Everything was fine. Due to an error from priceline, they didn't have our reservation, but the front desk called and handled it. Room was hot, but cooled down after we turned the air conditioning unit on. Service was friendly. Small but adaquate tv. Fridge and microwave in room was a nice little bonus.

Hotel was decent, clean rooms & bathroom. Newly brought, and they provided the Choice Hotel level of service. This was just what my group and I needed. Had issue with the fridge (user error), yet the hotel manager Raj fixed it and came with another just in case. Staff Robert and Alen were very nice. No problem with check-in or check-out. Will stay again if in the area. Thanks!

I have been staying here a month and I'm really enjoying it. I have them to clean my room every other day while I'm working, and they do a fine job. The Housekeepers can get a little irritating at times cause they don't change your sheets. You have to do it yourself. But when you check in, ask to speak to Jody or Allen. They're the best staff at the front desk. Very friendly, and very helpful. I'm going to continue staying here as long as they will let me. They're also upgrading their breakfast soon so we can have biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, etc… Great place!

I've never in my life been treated so bad, I was absolutely appalled. The rooms were clean but run down and the pool was filthy.

This place is a dump don't waste your money here the rooms next to the pool are nice and up to date but if you one the rooms on the outside they are nasty I stayed at the place for years and loved it now I wouldn't pay $20 a night to stay in this dump.

This hotel is a very nasty place to stay! Stains all over the place smell in the bathroom was awful! I walked in then walked out! Went to the motel 6 down the street do urself a favor an do not stay here.

As the police came into the building the manager left after my husband had his medication and personal checks stolen out of the room. Manager can't be bothered to return calls after all of this. My husband couldn't sleep there after that and they won't do anything to attempt to fix the issue. Save your self and stay somewhere else.

Tub does not drain flies n nats were bad n Wi-Fi did not work the whole time n we were there for 2 weeks it was cheap but the staff were good I went n bought insect spray all n all it was ok.

Great place for family. Has a VERY nice indoor pool area and hot tub. Rooms were better than I expected. Clean and no problems. Restaurants all around and can't go wrong with Cracker Barrel across the street.

Stopped on way back from a motorcycle ride of the Blue RIdge Parkway. Was everything we needed. Nothing fancy but was perfect for us. Walking distance to Waffle House and Gas station, nice rooms and hotel has indoor pool, all for around fifty bucks. If every back in the area will stay again.

The staff is excellent except for the manager. I've never met a more rude person in my life. Wouldn't help you out or work with u on anything. Management also was really rude to the staff who I think is what's holding this place together. The maids and front desk people we're very helpful and nice.

There is no pool or guest laundry, Its a 3 story motel, but has an elevator. The room (312) I stayed in is what they call an 'upgrade' meaning it has a micro/fridge plus a work desk with a desk lamp. Television is an old fashioned big box but worked well. Bathroom was well appointed, but the packet of shampoo they supply looks and is cheap. Coffee in room is a 1 cup deal with 2 packets of coffee. And beware, there is no 'breakfast' here. The staff at the desk both when I reserved the room and when I checked in seem to be lacking ininterpersonal skills. Not customer oriented, nor friendly at all. The price, I paid 59.95 plus tax, not unreasonable for this area. Overall, its a *** (3) out of 5.
