We stay in hotels monthly for travel ball and this is the first time we experienced rudeness from the front desk. Krishna was unprofessional and when asking for extra towels she said to contact the housekeeping but with in minutes after asking her name she brought the towels to us. We asked for a late check out due to soccer game time and she said 11:30 was the latest and it would cost $20 every 30 minutes. We have never checked out before 12 on late checkouts and we had 2 small children and just needed 30 more minutes. I then called a few other Country Inns we have stayed in including one off Tunnel Road in Asheville and without hesitation I asked what late checkout was and the response was 12 noon. So I went to the front desk rung the bell and Krishna came out I asked for the manager (he was right around the corner I heard them conversating before she helped me) It became silent and whispers started then he walked out “can I help you” I asked again for late checkout and he proceeded to make excuses I said thank you and he said “have a nice day. ” This by far was the RUDEST hotel I have experienced and would not stay here again. Bobby Fisher is the manager I spoke with and it was very disappointing to have a manager that did not try to go above and beyond for us. We have not been loud or rude, we just had 2 small kids that was on the fields at 7am the morning before.

Our family's stay from the hotel aspect was great. The hotel looks to be recently renovated, the room was a good size, and the lobby area was well maintained. The room was clean and easily accessible from the parking lot. We had some rude neighbors talking VERY loudly at all hours of the night/morning but I don't hold the hotel responsible for their behavior. Overall we would definitely return to this hotel.

Good location. Mall across the street, grocery next door. Typical CI&S. Very clean. Quiet. Good breakfast. Parking lot is a bit tight. Wonderful cookies. Outdoor pool is small, good for kids. Easy to get into Asheville. Friendly staff. Only problem was the room humidity was high. No way to get a fresh air xchange since the windows are permanently fixed. I would stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were clean and updated too. The pool is kinda small but they have a laundry area and a small workout room as well if you're on the road like we are. The staff were very courteous and all around this was a good place to come.

Lovely hotel. Well kept and very clean. Love that there were actually ceramic dishes for breakfast instead of paper and plastic. (However the toilet paper was cheap single ply! ) But the staff was very polite and attentive and the hotel was very clean) Love their outdoor pool!

Great customer service. Easy, pleasant check in. Lobby room downstairs cozy and effective. Breakfasts were good. Everything worked in the room, and the staff was pleasant. A little tough to navigate with the road construction outside, but not their fault. Priced perfectly for a quick getaway or business meeting. I would stay again.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times and each time it has been excellent. Very nice rooms and very nice and helpful employees. Located just 10 mins from downtown Asheville it is always easy access for any venue or outing.

Room#317… We booked our room, for the weekend, on April 13, 2018. The receptionist was very professional. The hotel was very clean and smelled nice. Our room was exceptional. The value and quality of this hotel was well represented in the reasonable price that we paid. It was a last minute booking after 5pm however, the receptionist did everything to accommodate us. The location is great! Right across from the Asheville Outlet Mall. Great, Outstanding, Well Maintained!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn & Suites. I noticed a few up-keep issues (missing paint in our bathroom), but it was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great! This was our first trip to Ashville, so we didn't know what to expect. This hotel was not within walking distance of downtown, but very easily within driving distance, and we had no issues finding parking downtown. Easily drivable to the Biltmore, as well. When we come back to Asheville, we will definitely consider staying here again.

It was a nice hotel. Our room was nice. The bed was comfy. The parking lot was terrible. Not enough room for all the guests. Aisle too narrow to do a three point turn. You have to be careful not to bottom out when you turn into their driveway. I would stay there again. Would be 5 stars if they get the parking lot fixed.

I give this a less than stellar rating because the small pillows on the beds are the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever slept on. Had to stack two and yet they both got so flat and hard I could not sleep. The beds are OK. On the other hand, it had one of the best breakfasts of almost any hotel I have ever stayed. Just bring your own pillows from home.

The hotel was clean and the room comfortable. There was an odd odor in the lobby and hallway, but fortunately, not in the room. Breakfast choices were varied and plentiful and the fresh cookies in the lobby were a nice treat. The hotel is convenient to I-40 and in an area with lots of shopping and dining choices nearby. Overall, we had a good stay.

This is the best place to stay. My wife and I always try and stay at a country inn and suites when we travel. The breakfast is superior to all other hotels and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Very clean, nicely decorated and loved our room. We reserved the King Suite with separate bedroom area and were surprised to see a whirlpool tub in the room! They had upgraded us because they had no more of our rooms available for the same price! The sofa bed was the most comfortable one I've ever seen! Must have been a nice memory foam type of mattress. Nice breakfast buffet, as well!

It's very clean, all super nice, the room had a cold and a roundabout, everything was fine.

Great place. Had a suite which is great for families; a real one with two rooms and door between. Pool was closed which was never mentioned, a big setback with 4 kids. Super helpful staff!

The room was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good! The staff was great. They were all really nice. The hotel had cookies, fruit, coffee and tea available all the time in the lobby!

Asked for a quiet room and was given a room next to a major construction site where they started early in the day. A room on the other side of the hotel would have been more appropriate. There were no "do not disturb" signs in our room. It was late when we realized this. Called the front desk before retiring. The front desk person apparently stuck it under the door. Very ineffective! At breakfast we witnessed several disturbing events. Child (in front of two staff) was allowed to hand pick fruit off the breakfast buffet without any word from staff. Also witnessed a barefoot woman in dining area with an apparent infection of the foot. Again no intervention from staff. On our second morning were busted in on from a room service person before checkout time and before we checked out. She just entered our room and it was well before checkout time.

From the moment we entered the door the atmosphere was inviting. From fresh complimentary cookies and fruit to Colan at the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable with clean smelling linens and towels. Because I put my bag of clothes in the little closet I forgot them. I did not remember them until we were at least 3 hours away. The staff was very eager to find them (while I was on the phone) and get them sent to me.

Overall it's been a good experience. The staff is very nice. Initially when we arrived for check-in, the room wasn't ready but they quickly got two to get it ready. The room is very roomy, larger than expected. The breakfast was simple but tasty. The pool was unfortunately outside and seasonal and closed at the time. The cookies in front are a nice touch. The building is a newer construction. Parking lot is bit small and tight but free. Location is good to get to the Biltmore. The beds weren't the most comfortable but decent. Shower water pressure is great. For the price it was a great stay.

Over the last year or so, I've been staying here the first weekend of each month with my daughters, and I couldn't speak more highly about this hotel. The rooms are always very clean, the free hot breakfast in the morning is much better than other hotels I've stayed at, and the staff is very professional and super-friendly. Location is also great, being right across from the outlet mall and within a short drive of downtown. "Two thumbs up" for this Country Inn.

Great stay on super bowl night. Staff was great! Check in lady was great. I left my coat in the closet and they saved it for me to pick up on the way home. Will stay again if in the area.

Convenient location, great staff, good breakfast, good coffee, comfortable rooms, fitness center, big TV. Pretty much everything you need.

Very clean and nice hotel for the reasonable price in Asheville. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good :-). I can highly recommend this to anybody who wants to visit Biltmore Estate.

Not one complaint here. Good location within about 10 minutes to/from downtown,. Very clean all around, good Wi-Fi, fridge (with a freezer section) and microwave, good breakfast selections, pool, free parking, comfortable bed and friendly staff.

Hotel is clean, staff very friendly. Bed was comfortable. This hotel has an outside pool that was out of service. Nice breakfast included. For the price I can't complain.

This hotel is awesome! My wife and I have stayed here 4 or 5 times and we loved it. Beds are comfortable and clean as well as the rooms. Great staff with both their attitude and assistance. Recommended it to friends and my wife and her friend just visited again past weekend and is still great! Will definitely visit again. Great cookies in foyer also.

I have stayed in this hotel some portion of every week for almost a year. It is, without exception, clean, comfortable, well managed and well staffed. I travel for business and have many Asheville options but none offers the quality value of this Country Inn and Suites.

The reason I give this cheaper hotel a five star rating is because it is very very clean and quiet and the staff are friendly and the location is certainly convenient enough. Definitely Great at this price point.

I don't understand why this motel has ratings below five stars. What a nice place. You would have to pay almost double anywhere else to get a room as clean and comfortable. The staff is very polite and friendly. But the best part is the free breakfast. I'm not talking about cheap coffee and greasy donuts. They serve sooo much more including Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, omelettes, juices, and of course cereal, toast and muffins. I will certainly remember this motel again. It is a fine facility.

Disgusting. Plugged toilet, dirty bathroom when arrived, stood waiting to check in while mgr refreshed cookies.

We were greeted by friendly staff who provided us with excellent dining recommendations as well as directions to major attractions in the area. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a very quiet night's rest. The breakfast was also top notch although you were not able to take food out of the dining area. The pool was clean and had good hours, but was a bit small and chilly. All in all this is a wonderful hotel that we would definitely recommend.

Our family of four was pleased with our stay. Once we were able to check into our room I was almost turned off when we entered the hallway and I smelled the strong odor of cigarette smoke. I can't necessarily blame the hotel for the guest that decided to smoke despite the "NO SMOKING" signs posted everywhere. Fortunately our room was not smokey. Later I found out that the guest smoker was fined $250 for the incident (YES smokers you will get caught, fined and it's a misdemeanor charge in N. C. ). The front desk was very friendly and even called our room, once we got in, to make sure we were satisfied. Everything appeared to be clean. The continental breakfast was great and consisted of sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits, waffles, yogurt, bagels, cereals, muffins and fresh fruit. The pool looked pretty inviting as well as the hot tub. We will be back in the area over the summer and will choose to stay here again :).

I would NOT recommend the Country Inn Asheville on Brevard Road. The room we reserved, while pricey, had a door that was a joke. The door was so loose, I could use a credit card to open it, and it took about 2 seconds. I complained the first day and the front desk said there no one was around to look at it. I complained the second day and was eventually told that there wasn't a problem since the hotel was "safe". We didn't feel comfortable leaving our items in the room, so the trip was less enjoyable than it should have been. At the end, the front desk would take no responsibilty and then claimed that they could make no adjustments to our bill. Not a good way to run a hotel.
