I stayed here while taking a class. Clean, comfortable, accommodating! Friendly and helpful staff. Area has an up-and-coming contemporary feel, with lots of new waterfront businesses/restaurants setting up. Enjoyed the footpath along the river and the trolley to get downtown! Zero complaints.

Beautiful here. Very clean and convenient to everything including casino. Good food and nice people.

This is a beautiful new hotel and harbor. The room was clean, modern and quiet. All the staff were friendly, from the front desk to housekeeping. There is a free shuttle that you can take around Schenectady, and you can walk to the new casino. The harbor is beautiful with kayak rentals, including a kayak ramp/launch. We walked around on a warm summer evening. The harbor is lit up at night and the docks are beautiful. They were setting up for a free concert the next day (unfortunately we couldn't stay). Everything has a retro-modern feel. A fun first visit to Mohawk Harbor and the Courtyard Marriott.

Wonderful room. Town-side view. Concierge was helpful in accommodating our need for an accessible room. Bed was very comfortable.

New, clean, very nice staff, price reasonable, great location close to casino and Mohawk River. James was awesome checking us in. Definitely would come back.

Brand new facility. Very modern decor. Easily accessible by car, but not walking friendly. Staff was pleasant. The area for breakfast was a bit off, a hybrid self and full service. Order like at a cafeteria, but food is delivered to your table.

Lovely stay, wish it was longer so we could have been able to enjoy the lounge and bar but the bed was incredibly comfortable and everyone very nice and welcoming. Turn in is a little tough to find, but there are signs when you get close. Wish there was more of a view — the apartments were built right in the way of a beautiful river view!

Was in town to see the Union/Cornell hockey game. Stayed the night. Staff were so pleasant and accommodating! Hotel is quite new. Very clean. Was given a lovely bouquet of flowers upon checkout. So sweet! Definitely would stay again.

The free breakfast was complicated for no reason. We were told there was no free breakfast after I paid for 4, then we had to sign a receipt to get a coupon for free breakfast? Also, the hotel should warn you that there is a very loud passing train every hour. Aside from this, the room was clean and beautiful.

Reception is not about to please you. Services on satisfactory level. New and good looking condition, otherwise like life: nothing is free.

Surprisingly classy with small dip pool and a great common area. Longish walk to casino but not bad. A nice addition to the area. A bargain if you use points. Cute little bar in the lobby and an acceptable cafe.

I was very impressed by the quality of the Courtyard Marriott Schenectady. It is a brand new building and has a modern, elegant feel and decor. My room was well designed and very confortable. The fitness center was sufficient for my needs, and I wish that I had brought my swim gear so I could enjoy the pool as well. I was also impressed that the employee at the front desk remembered my name.

Best hotel I've stayed in yet! Bathrooms were very nice! Great shower! Very well lit! Had everything I needed with easy access in my room!

I visited the hotel for a baby shower. The lobby and conference room were beautiful and new, and Starbucks coffee, teas, and water were available upon entering. The lunch spread — assorted sandwiches, salads (pasta, fruit, and Caesar), and chips — was attractive and delicious. The staff was courteous.

We live locally & thought we'd try the Bistro Restaurant at hotel for dinner. We arrived at 5:30 pm. Ordered a burger with fries. Burger must have been pre-cooked, cold & well done. Fries were cold as well. Must have been pre — cooked also. Not a good experience! Won't be back! Thought the restaurant had good reviews!

Top of the line! Beautiful location. The friendliest and most helpful staff ever. The room was perfect and clean. Can't wait to go back!

The hotel is beautiful! It is spotless and still looks brand new. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Very new and attractive design. Friendly staff. I rate hotels from the perspective of a physically challenged person as I am in a wheelchair. The bathrooms are not always set up well but this one was fine. Just one thing though… for the love of everything holy will someone please get through to all these hotel chains that this trend of making the beds very high in the accessible rooms has to STOP. Please, please, please lower the beds a little in this type of room.

Nice new hotel, very friendly, helpful and courteous staff. The GM stopped by our table during breakfast to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Very nice to have an attentive manager who has a vested interest in his clients. Will be staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Schenectady at Mohawk again when back on business. And will send my associates here when they're in town on business.

The room and amenities we're good. The guy who checked us in corrected the reservations to include the event we were there for, saving us over $100. However, the view is currently made up of nothing but construction. Only a sliver of the harbor is visible as 3 buildings are being constructed all around.

I stayed at the Marriott at Mohawk Harbor in Schenectady the week of May 22, 2017. While the area is basically a construction site and the hotel is new I experienced no problems. I do want to recognize Omar McCray the night associate. He was quite professional, helpful and friendly. I travel constantly over the past 15 years and I would put him near the top of a list of hospitality personnel that I have dealt with over the years. He should be appreciated. Jack.

The hotel is brand new and in tip top shape. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Free shuttle takes you to the nearby casino which is only a 5 minute walk away. Everywhere else you will need to drive or catch a taxi. The room was modern and bed comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and will always recommend a Marriott hotel.

Because it's brand new this hotel is a lot nice than most Courtyard Marriotts. The rooms are really nice and have refrigerators and microwaves. The staff at the front desk were all very friendly and professional. The train track across the street is fairly loud, and there are trains that come through late at night. It would have been nice if the bar in the lobby stayed open later since there isn't much close by, but the front desk does sell beer and wine. The fire ring in the outdoor seating area between the lobby was a great spot to hang out in the evenings, but there wasn't any place to sit in front of the hotel to wait for a cab. There is only one washer and dryer in the guest laundry, but because it's a smaller hotel it wasn't an issue.

Traveling by myself with my energetic one year old daughter. Staff was more then courteous, and so helpful. Rooms were impeccable. Although a lot of construction happening it was a peaceful night.

I had a great experience staying at the new Marriott at Mohawk Harbor. The rooms and service were excellent. The hotel is beautiful and set up perfectly. Everything is close by and the shuttle to the casino was a plus. The service at the restaurant was excellent for a quick bite at night or coffee in in the morning. Our server was Alley and she was a very polite and sweet girl who we enjoyed very much. I plan on staying there again.

This Courtyard is truly a state of the art property. The staff's attention to detail is outstanding from The Bistro, to housekeeping, and of course the front desk staff. Jason in particular was very warm and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, great value for the money!

We stayed at this new hotel, having my niece's shower there. The rooms were wonderful, the staff just awesome. We had a suite, so much room, clean and pleasant. We did not run in to a staff member who did not ask us how our stay was, if we needed anything. The staff taking care of the shower were helpful and easy to work with. Our waitress was awesome as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel, definite 5 star service.

Place looks beautiful. They constructed it so fast. I live blocks away but would still consider getting a room for the "experience".
