Great value for a good stay especially any place in the New York market place. Breakfast could’ve been better but had a decent pool and a decent room at a decent rate.

Stayed at this dump because it was the cheapest room we could find last minute. It served its purpose. Woke up scratching my fingers and found a bed bug munching on them around 6a. The carpets are nasty and the bathroom toilet seat in the room was ill fitted (oval on a round). One night maybe, but stay at your own risk. The only good thing is the mexican restaurant on the property.

Got lost coming here because the old address is listed on Google maps. Get to the room and it smells like cigarettes in a non smoking area. Talked to front desk and they switched us to a new room. It's much better than the previous room but it's nothing to brag about. Customer service is nice and housekeeping is good. UPDATE: I changed the rating to a 1 star because we came across ants in both rooms even after housekeeping came in to vacuum. The last straw was that my daughter saw a cockroach in the bathroom! Not very clean. The Wi-Fi is terrible and barely worked the entire time. The tubs in the bathrooms are so high up that my daughter tumbled out! They only have one railing on the side but more is needed. Not child friendly or anyone with disabilities. I'm 5'9 and I actually had to bend backwards while showering just to wash my hair, not very good for tall people. I would not recommend this place to anyone needing more than just an over night stay. We stood there for 3 nights and will definitely not come back. The only thing good going for this place is the location, I would look into hotels nearby just to stay in the area but not this place.

This place was the worst place I have ever stood. Me and my fiancé was highly upset. Me and her wanted our money back but didn’t. We went booked a suit with a hot tub. First of all the room looked like an old fashioned 1940 room. The drapes at the window made it feel like someone was going to dye. The carpet was an ripped as if a dog was there. The place was dusty. Advice to anyone staying at this location. Bring your own clorox, Lysol, Clorox wipes, lysol wipes to disaffected the place. The bed seem as if it was made right after the previous check out. It had wrinkle sheets and the jacuzzi filled with flys.

Location was Perfect. The hotel itself is old. It is clean and has been updated. It was good for a roadside hotel.

I have stayed at many hotels all over the world, and this is the WORST hotel ever! We called ahead and positively confirmed, and we're assured of, a specific type of room, yet when we arrived, they tried to give us different, and when we asked for what we reserved, manager actually rolled his eyes st us… Room is not cleaned very well, the TV reception is fuzzy, and staff is rude — but the worst things are no hot water and LOUD noise! We have relatives in town, and could have stayed tbere, but wanted to stay in a hotel specifically to get a good night's sleep and a hot shower — both of which were impossible! When we asked about the VERY loud noise, which was about equivalent to trying to sleep while someone vacuumed around your head (even vibrated the walls), the manager said it was "just the pipes, because they have water running through them", and claimed it was throughout the entire hotel and it's "normal"… Also made some rude (and obviously false) comment about us being the only ones who ever complained about it in 17 years. This noise was EXTREMELY loud and CONTINUOUS, preventing sleep; and I will be filing a complaint with the corporate office, as well as a dispute with my credit card company! I would advise staying elsewhere!

This is a money worth for me, Located in the serene village in Spring Valley, Nanuet, almost an hour drive from New York city,. Don't expect all the services renowned to high end hotels but you will love this place.

Good stay. No tooth brush. Don't forget to pack your own.

Went there for power outage 1st room we got had no heat and had a imprint of a woman's upper body on the headboard but hey what do you expect from a 2 star hotel… We got to the second room and went to grab a pillow from the bed and a cockroach ran away… We Immediately left after that. Atleast I got a laugh out of the woman's imprint on the headboard. So maybe that's worth the 1. We got a refund. But contrary to what other people have said the staff was nice.

The front desk is very rude and the rooms are nasty and not cleaned at all. They just make the bed and that’s it. The rooms smell like an ashtray and it is known for drug activity. There are better hotels in the same location. Beware!

Ok, if you need a place to sleep, positive notes: although the bed had a huge dent smack in the middle the bed was still comfy. Spacious room, clean, employees were friendly and the small breakfast was enough for the kids, cereal, milk, Apple, toast, egg cheese omlet coffee, juice. Great location. And on the Negative note: most of the time we had no hot water. The next room to us kept us up most of the night. The restaurant next door took all the parking so we never had parking when returning to hotel we had to sit in our car and wait for a parking almost 45 min for 3 nights in a row. Upon checking in the attendant at desk seemed upset while speaking on the phone and started cursing up a storm while checking me in and gave me the key told me my room and looked away and continued his conversation. It's ok if you need a 1 night stay and that is it. They really need to do something about the restaurant hogging up all the parking. Over priced.

Needs updating, telephone in room didn't work, restaurant few feet away from hotel serves wonderful dishes.

This was an ok hotel. Good place to sleep. Beds were good, but the ice machine was in front of our room.

Good location, comfortable bed, would like better continental breakfast.

The rooms are nice, great beds, they also have a microwave, tables, TV and a good bathroom but the customer service could be better (talking about the office) they were rude when asking some questions about the key for my room and also some issues with the Wi-Fi connection because the Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms, just in the office so they tell you that is your phone that has issues with it but actually all the customers have same issues with the connection.

Excellent to take a bath and sleep. If you want to travel this is beautiful place to stay.

Customer service is excellent the office personal are real friendly but some guests are rude but the area is great there are alot of shopping malls plus friendly people in this location there is one made that clean all room and she is very friendly and she does a fantastic job plus in the morning there is a young Spanish lady that she is friendly and kind thank you for making my stay comfortable clean friendly staff.

OMG! I'm here now with my daughter and if I had the money to move hotels I WOULD! The rooms are clean however the front desk is located in another building around the corner. My room REAKS of smoke. I just had to go purchase an iron because they don't provide them AND their "free Wi-Fi" doesn't work! This is the worst property I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't recommend you come here unless you have NO OTHER options!

Much better than expected. The rooms were huge compares to another Days Inn tjat I stayed at and the service was excellent.

It's not a great place to stay. Wi-Fi does not work and even the telephone in room was not operational. There is just continental breakfast and no hot breakfast available. There were mosquito in my rooms also.

The people who work at this hotel are wonderful! The rooms are basic (with great TV channels though) and meet the needs of whoever is staying. Plenty of fast food and convenience stores in the area.

Im just going to give a one for this Days Inn lets start off with the Front Desk the lady was not helpful at all it look like she hated this job I said good afternoon and she said what and Im not going to lie the Motel needs a little bit Fixing The Room was kinda worn out like the AC was running only on Heat and The bathroom needed a lot of Improvement it smelled terrible and not clean at all And I knew it that it would be terrible Food was amazing that was the best part about this Motel but the Rest was Horrible I wouldn't stay here again but Come here for Food and the first night was not A good night sleep some Kids were in the hallway around 11PM and Talking loud and Taking there parents Phones and playing songs and then the next day they left a big mess in the hallway and thought that this is there own home Well Sorry Days Inn At Spring Valley NY You need to step up and getting More better Reviews P. S IM NEVER going to stay here.

Place not kept up rugs are dirty, ac not working right, pool was out of order fot a few days. People were friendly and breakfast was good. Restaurant next door was nice.

Fairly nice place. They forgot to put soap in our room.

Location is fairly central. Breakfast is acceptable but not exciting. Rooms are large.

I stayed in this hotel last night and the room was clean and even had a new TV in it. Breakfast was good front desk was helpful. My room had a coffeepot that could of been a little bigger size but other wise the room was good bathroom was clean and well stock. If your coming on west 59 you need to go down the road and do a loop and get back on east 59 in order to get to the hotel I give it 4 stars only because no hotel is perfect but I would return if in the area again. Cost $77 with online rate for a Saturday night.

I used to like Days Inn but now I hate them. Front desk gave my room # to my crazy ex and cause a lot of problems, plus cleaning lady trying to open the door for her without my permission.

Rude people at front desk. Don't stay here. They rent rooms 4hrs at a time and don't change sheets. I was just ready to pass out when I looked at the bed and found blood on the sheets and pillows. Went to front desk and he said wait till morning for new sheets but for now I'll give you a towel to sleep on. Are you kidding me? Wtf. I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star but had no choice.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Thier were no water couldn't take a shower or flush toilet. The staff was useless and I was told manager would call but never did. I should have known something would be wrong when we had to pay upfront. The room was clean but that was about it. Breakfast was horrible I wouldn't even feed my dog that stuff.

Terrible terrible bad customer service and room was very filthy. You'll never see me again.

Stayed at this place multple times, had a very positive experience! The staff and managment are friendly and curtious. Clean rooms, fresh linen, Breakfast was ok. Special thanks to Ramsey and Kelven for treating us very well. Price is perfect for its value.

I stayed 3 nights. My room had barley enough water pressure to engage the shower. The last day that I was there I woke up to no power. I was in training class all day and wanted to come back that afternoon to take what little of a hot shower. No! I had absolutely no water at all. I called down to the front desk, they said that they were having the boiler cleaned, be about 1 hour to have water back on, ya! I did not have any water all night! my flight was leaving the next morning and I was dying to have better water pressure for a hot shower. The next morning, I did have water, but pressure was worse. I had to have a bird bath from the sink. Not to mention I killed several spiders in the room. Do your self a huge favor and stay at the hampton inn across the street! i would have rather stayed in a camp ground.

Needed a place to crash at 1am. Easy on/off highway. Reasonable rates. Not the fanciest, but clean and friendly.

Warning! Warning! Warning! They double charged my debit card. When I confronted them the front desk said "Prove it". The place is old and tired but the towels and sheets are clean but over charging me over $500 is a big problem. If I had money to spare would I have stayed at this place.

Stayed @ Days Inn Hotel in Nanuet, NY (Aug. 2012). It was one the worst experience. Woke up early morning and discover a BED BUG. Never will my family nor me will ever stay there again.
