It's been a good time.

I loved their service, however I didn't like one thing: parking lot. They don't have enough parking space for so many vehicles they charge for parking. If you guys bring your own car, there is plenty of free parking space on the streets. Other than that, I loved my stay at the Holiday Inn.

I have stayed here several times. The hotel staff has always been nice and helpful. I have never had an issue with the rooms, they are always clean, the beds are comfortable. If you come to New York this is a place to stay. I have attended several events in the party rooms that they have available to rent. The food and drinks are provided by The Pine Bar restaurant that is attached to the hotel, the food is always great. Friday nights the bar has karaoke which is always fun.

Hotel is clean and neat. It has a gym and laundry in basement and there is a parking space but you need to pay for it. There is a restaurant in the lobby as well. Overall it is a clean hotel.

It's an old hotel where the attached sports bar is of higher quality than the rooms. AC didn't work and the shower controls have a mind of their own. Only plus would be the newish TV that I never used.

This is a true two star establishment. Smelly, uncomfortable, noisy, and a bad location. Horrible food. I’m giving it 2 stars because the customer service was decent.

Very nice hotel. Very spacious for the NY area. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very nicely updated. My room came with a fridge which was very nice. Also the towles are very nice! Small details make the stay nice.

Just about time to turn it over to Ramada. The hotel is older, the beds are tired, the carpets are worn, and the peach colored paint was peeling off the bathroom walls.

The hotel itself was pretty nice considering it wasn't particularly expensive. I got my room through a Priceline express deal and I'd say it was definitely a good stay. The staff were helpful and cordial, and the parking, while expensive, did exist which is more than some manhattan based hotels. The subway connection is close (111th 7 line) and the room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was nice and I liked the bed. All in all the 4 stars is there because breakfast wasn't free, the parking was a bit pricey and the room amenities were a bit sparse. Overall its a good place, I would recommend.

Clean. Efficient staff. Great food. Walls are a bit thin, but nothing catastrophic. Would stay here again.

The facilities are impeccable… neat, clean, orderly… staff is super helpful and friendly… but one of the early morning shuttle van drivers needs a lesson in time management, humility, listening, and just plain common sense…

Good stay and nice place.

Old building, which you can also notice in the rooms. The cleaning staff came in twice although check out was until 12 o'clock. Otherwise nice staff. Breakfast was cheap but small. Overall quite OK!

Decent rooms, staff can be really nice. Hotel pub is enjoyable for sure. Semi-sketchy area though. Wouldn't go wandering far after dark >. >

A festival was going on across the highway (at citifield). It was shocking that the music could be heard inside my room and in the pub, even though my room was facing away from the concert. I will concede as an exception. The rooms were comfy and the ambiance was cozy enough.

Great customer service. Very nice front staff. There's a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel, as well as some pretty good food just a few blocks away. They have a parking lot for which you get charged per day, but there is plenty of free street parking in the neiborhood. Close to the 7 train. 10 to 15 mins from LaGuardia.

Nice and clean place.

We had an early check-in and an upgrade. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel room we got has a great view looking at Citi stadium. It was clean and tidy. The king size bed was comfortable. Restaurants are in walking distance. Overall a very nice hotel at its price.

In many years of staying at thousands of hotels. This was the first hotel, I was actually scared to stay at. Outside has been renovated but the interior is awful for a Holiday Inn. It is at the standards of a run down motel. Cops are around, when we checked in cop cars were there, when we were leaving 3-4 cops showed up. Giving it a 2 star just because of the staff, they were helpful and caring.

My husband stayed there last night before starting his trip and does often. The Airline he works for uses this hotel often as well. This morning he awoke early to find no hot water to the entire hotel… in NY in Dec… He had no choice but to take a shower so cold his skin felt like it was burning. Ridiculous. When he spoke to the manager Alex, he very rudely only offered a "discounted room" at the rate of $135 for his next stay… You can book the same room in the $120's all day based on internet searches. The "manager" was rude and incompetent. Even once my husband told him that rate wasn't a discount. Alex felt no compassion, no incline to solve a situation that he was hired to handle. Nothing. My husband spoke to another Manager and they are working towards a resolution.

Front desk staff was great, shuttle to LGA was clutch and on time. Right across from Shea, convenient to Subway and everything in Queens. Rooms a bit dated but still a good stay.

Conveniently located. Very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable, if a little dated, and the water pressure was great. The hallways were in rough shape, the carpet was old and lifting in spots. Nice restaurant and bar in the lobby.

This is a great hotel with a good location to get to anything near the airport. The rooms are comfortably appointed and the staff is very friendly. The internet is no slow like some places I've stayed which is always nice. The restaurant has some great Italian food so you want have to go far to find a good meal.

For a Holiday Inn this place is as good as it gets. Rooms are big enough and have a fridge and microwave along with TV and plenty of outlets. The gym downstairs is better than most 4 & 5 star hotels in the area. This place is a good find.

Nice and convenience, close to La Guardia Airport hotel, I have not stayed overnight, my son and I using their swimming pool for a swimming lessons. Pool is clean with staff always there to help, It could have been a little more organized in sense the pool accessories stored in neater way.

Went in to meet with sales associates in regards to booking rooms for a wedding. A 11 o'clock appointment wound up with us walking out never seen at noon…

It's not the best. Beds are pretty hard, and the hallways smell funky. Staff are nice though, and the lobby restaurant is awesome.

Nice hotel, friendly service. Not close to a lot of food options other than the attached restaurant (which is good). Walking distance to Mets stadium and Arthur Ashe Stadium.

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn. I got there late from an international flight over and the check in was very fast. The room was very nice and inexpensive considering I book a day earlier.

Clean hotel a little worn around the edges. Good value for the money. Parking costs $22 a day additional. Restaurant has great menu at decent prices. I would go back. I used elevator. Security excellent.

Holiday Inn LGA was a less than memorable experience. The facilities are very dated but they seem somewhat clean. I saw a couple of really dirty spots in the room, but nothing to make a fuss over. The younger guy who checked me in was very friendly, even late at night. The morning staff probably could've used an extra coffee. Location is everything; hotel to LGA in 20 minutes!

As an airline crew member being close to the airport with quick and efficient shuttle is a must. This place excels in both! Although the property is older the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Great stay!

We have been to this Holiday Inn three times and enjoyed the experience every time. They've made noticeable improvements to the hotel (fridge and microwave in our room and Bath and Body works products). The front desk people are kind and courteous. Allison even refunded our final nights stay when our flight got bumped up by eight hours! Saved us quite a bit of money. Highly recommended as long as you understand it's really reasonable for being so close to the airport and offers shuttles.

Older hotel. Nice employees. Poppin restaurant. Good gym. Good Wi-Fi. Clean rooms.

Updated clean rooms, nice checking in staff, great restaurant. Awesome accommodation for airline crew. 3 out of 4 because I've found a roach a time or 2 when staying.

Visit for an event. The hotel was very clean and Nice.

I have spent several nights (on different occasions) for business at this location and my most recent was rather mediocre. I hope any who read this review may find it helpful if deciding on a hotel in the NYC area. On this last stay I was here for three days, which began off-foot. I always get picked-up at the the LGA airport at the same spot. The lady I spoke with when I requested a pickup asked question after question even though I tried to kindly explain where I was many times. I was told it would take about 20 minutes. The van driver did come to the correct terminal, though at the wrong spot and late. It took approximately an hour for me to get to the hotel, 1.4 miles away. When me and my associate arrived they only had one room assigned to us. My company has a contract with the hotel and we check-in at different times. I was told that I might not have a room either because it wasn't 3pm yet. I was able to get a room but my co-worker was not until sometime later in the day (or perhaps I didn't — my first name was completely different when she put me in the PMS) The room I was given was not cleaned, and the TV's volume was not adjustable and the power button on the remote could power it on, but not off (strange? ). Also, throughout the night unknown, but loud noises persisted, until about midnight. The sounds resembled putting up of drywall in the adjacent room. I was not given an explanation of the disturbance.

An affordable hotel that is still relatively close to the subway. Noise from the airport wasn't a problem when I stayed there because planes stopped flying after a certain time.

As a flight attendant, we stay in a lot of places. This is one of my least favorite, while others I know don't mind it. Every time I stay here its different; sometimes my room has a mini fridge and microwave in it, sometimes there is neither. I'm not crazy about the pedestal sink in the bathroom, or how the outlets in most rooms are loose, so when plug in my phone charger or laptop, the cord falls out. The beds are ok. Not the best I've slept in, but not a brick. The biggest redeeming quality is probably the restaurant, which has some really great itlalian food. The gym is also pretty nice. Overall, for a single night's stay it's ok, but I wouldn't really want to be there longer than a night.

Absolutely love the restaurant … "Pines of Queens" … the locals come in in droves especially if there's a game going on in the stadium across the expressway. Been eating here as a guest traveler for about 10 years. Always get a welcome back. New York City is one of the friendliest cities in the USA. You just have to find the right places, this is one of them. Down to earth … Good Italian food, burgers & drinks. If you're not from the neighborhood … you will feel like you are!

I never really love this hotel. The location isn't great, the rooms are fine but sometimes there's just something missing. I recently felt a bit ill after drinking a couple beers at the attached bar from the tap (I'm guessing they needed to clean out the lines, also one was entirely flat) but the staff are kind and it's okay. Gym is a little stuffy.

I just called today 10/16/2015 about 8:34PM to this location, having lived in NY never did realized that people could be so rude and nasty when dealing with situations with someone with PTSD. The two women that answered the phone acted as if I was bothering them/wasting their precious time, when I asked them if they allowed pets. One told me if it was a service dog, when I said that he helped me with my PTSD she quickly transferred me to someone else. She asked what was my question and when I told her that I must of have been transferred to her, I asked her the same question, and she was like, well if you have documentation I guess he can, but she said it as if I was wasting her time. Way rude… I told her that I had documentation and she was still dry and curt. Is this what we have to deal with Holiday Inn? what a pair of arrogant idiots. METS FANS! If you are a Mets fan this place is perfect! This is our 3rd time staying here. You can walk to Citifield. Its clean and the staff is super accommodating and helpful. The restaurant has great food. If you have kids they will love the indoor pool. If you want to go into Manhattan the 7 train is like 3 blocks away and super easy to catch. It was my son's first time to NYC and his first Mets game and he loved every minute of it and the staff were really great with him. Great place. Great value!
