Hotel was fine, desk personnel friendly and helpful. Driver for shuttle not so. Restaurant for dinner was the worst I’ve been to in a long time. Service was lousy and the French fries that they brought us was totally burned and not one person came back to ask if we needed anything. Then on a $39 bill they wanted all our coupons from Delta total $60. Unbelievable rude night.

Good food, comfortable room overlooking the airport.

My stay with this hotel was pleasant! Shuttle service was available to me and my friend even though we landed really late and didn't get our luggage until 12am! Our room was very clean the only thing I didnt like was they didnt have trash bags in the trash can even after we told our housekeeping lady who was in our hallway. They also have no microwave but other than that my stay was great the reviews had me scared to book this hotel but in my opinion you should check it out yourself! Also this hotel is far from the subways you would have to catch a bus to get to the nearest subway.

When I checked in and entered the room it was not cleaned, we waited for 5 hours. The concierge is very rude especially the fat black one. I hope you don't tolerate this kind of attitude from your staff.

Is it normal for this hotel to wait more than 4 hours for room to be ready? Guest service staff are unprofessional and system is not not organize with regards of checking in guest, they set aside crewmembers who waits for room for long hours. We've been here since 11 oclock in the morning, 5pm still rooms are not yet ready. Crewmembers are sleeping in the lobby but nobody care.

$ 350 taken out of my account without my consent or approval. When checking in I informed the receptionist that I wouldn’t be paying for the room with my card, the room was being paid for by the company, I showed the email stating it would be paid for with the card ending ####, which she agreed, but still required my card for a $50 hold. I have just checked to make sure no money was taken from my account and found that they had charged the whole room to my card. I now have to got through that hassle of chasing this up and will be without the money for days/weeks no doubt.

So I was going to say it was ok, but then I have never had to call corporate before. The front desk attendants (Jonathan and GiGi) were dismissive, rude, abrasive, and sickening in terms of their demeanor and behavior. I’m appalled at the performance of this hotel. Sure, we may get a response to cover off on their marketing tactics, but do not be deceived. Lip service is not going to improve your team. Disappointed. Do better.

Friendly staff and very helpful, quiet room and good location near the JFK Airport.

I stayed one night so I could get my son from the airport in the morning. The hotel lobby was clean, staff was very helpful. I wasn’t thrilled with where my room was, since it was close to the elevators and the vending/ice machine was right across the hallway. I was pleasantly surprised when there was no bothersome noise coming from the hallway. I was on a lower floor and had some road noise, but no slamming doors or talking in the hall disturbed me all night. If I come back that way it is where I will choose to stay.

I was there because Delta gave me a voucher. I checked in with no issues. But I needed a sack lunch to get to the room they sent me too (very very very long walk). Bottom line they were rude not realizing I am Diamond with Hilton and this was their opportunity to show me how it's done with IHG. I was the bottom of the barrel… its ok. I won't be back if I'm paying for it. Ijs.

Great location but lighting is dark in the room. My room have no hair dryer already requested to staff but I didn’t got it, cold water don’t work. I very upset and disappointed : (

Rooms are outdated. Been to numerous Crowne Plazas and this is by far the most outdated one. The front desk staff does not welcome you, in stead they continue on with their personal conversations. The front end manager refuses to tell anyone what is charged on their room. You have to ask! And when you do, her answer is "I cannot tell you, this is just what we charge" great manager. She definitely didn't go to business management school. If you ask for the GM, he won't respond! You can call, stop in and he will avoid you at all cost. Unprofessional. When I found out who owns this place and who the management team was, I started laughing and said "go figure" There is nothing around to eat. Shuttle gentlemen are super caring and super attentive. My room was decently cleaned. Beds are hard.

We have used he Crowne Plaza a number of times prior to our trips. The staff is excellent, the rooms are large and they are easy to get to. Love this place.

Amazing hotel very close to JFK.

The manager on duty was initially very unhelpful as we had booked and paid for two rooms through an Intenet hotel booking company and they were adamant it was one room and were not interested in our booking details, receipt and proof… after half an hour of stress including them asking us to ring the company rather than offering to do it for us (when they had received almost £400 off us! ) they found the other booking… (we got one confirmation number but they needed one per room at the hotel. Eventually they found it under the name of the second guest… but if they had been interested in looking at our phones they would have found this out immediately. )
They clearly knew they had treated us badly and at least apologised. Also the heating control isn't working in our room and they don't provide anything other than a thin sheet and blanket so we are cold (too tired to see if a member of staff could find us more blankets, which clearly should be standard! Stingy on drinks. One coffee provided for two people! No milk or creamer in room… they clearly don't care. The shuttle service man was lovely though!

Comfortable, clean rooms and nice staff. Busy place but quiet at night which was great! Breakfast was good in the morning at the restaurant downstairs but I found the lunch and dinner menu very average and I didn't like that I had to eat in the lounge. There is a beautiful restaurant area down the stairs that I would much rather preferred to eat in and they could expand the menu for lunch and dinner. That would have made it 5 stars for me.

Had a layover due to cancelled flight. Received a 40 dollar dinner credit. Was excited to eat and starving and exhausted. When I sit down I was given a separate menu for airline voucher recipients. 3 choices on it. A pasta, a fish and a steak. The steak was skirt steak. Usually used for like Fajitas. It was by far the worst steak I have ever eaten. It would really have been nice to be able to choose my meal from the normal menu and if necessary pay a difference. I definitely would have spent more than the stupid voucher did for them.

My room is right next to the highway. I haven’t gotten a good night’s sleep since I got here; staying 5 nights. The highway noise is constant ALL night. The room has only one light in the entry area and one in the bathroom. There are 3 lamps that are more for esthetics rather than function. They produce little light and the lampshade has 2 red, plastic sides so it illuminates a faint color. I had to use my phone’s flash light to read after dark. Personally, I prefer a well li…t or naturally lit room; neither of which I have here. It’s always dark. My windows are filthy. I showed a picture to a front desk staff member and she asked me to email it to another department. Literally, they look as if someone sprayed muddy water on them. Natural light does not penetrate because of all the filth. The room is clean and well maintained. The staff member assigned to take care of our group at our conference is amazing. I’ve not dealt with anyone else, significantly. There is no outdoor patio on which to sit and get some fresh air as the weather has been nice. This would be a nice addition since the hotel is so dark. Personal preference. The hotel is in a residential area and there is nary a grocery store anywhere close; a tiny deli/market is about 3 blocks away. Other than that I’ve ordered delivery several times. It’s not horrible, it’s just not functional for my personal preferences.

First of all it is pricey. But I would say it is a nice clean well equipped hotel. Nice staff. Room was quite but bathroom was small than I expected. So overall it was a decent stay but for too much money.

The Crowne Plaza did a wonderful job hosting th new training class of Delta Flight Attendants. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The location was also very convenient to the JFK airport. Highly recommend!

I have stayed many places. For the price per night you think there would be a free breakfast. The breakfast buffet is $20 and it is on par with the FREE breakfast you get at a Holiday Inn Express. Next time I'm in NYC I will look for another hotel. And this is coming from a member of their rewards system.

I visited the restaurant while waiting for a friend. The server was nice and friendly but a little bit busy running all over the place. The food was good, fresh, and tasty.

Great color scheme in room loved the bed. Bathroom was nice. Asked for hot water rather than going down because I was sick and they delivered!

Room and service was nice. Location is right next to the airport with complimentary shuttle service. My TV did not turn on however. Aside from that, it was a nice place.

The staff is not at crown plaza level like most properties across the world. Phone calls are placed on hold with out asking to. You have to work on there time. Expected a package at the hotel could not get it because the staff was on lunch break with out someone on duty while the break. The bar staff charges rooms without verifying information, had a room charge I did not used. No perks for Spire elite…

I reserved a cheap room for the night and purchased dinner and breakfast. Dinner, with drinks, was priced a bit high, but the servers were top notch. Breakfast was expected for comparable hotels. Parking was safe and in site, with access to local amenities. The first floor halls were Erie…

This is the third time in 3 months that my husband and I have stayed at the hotel. Each time has been for 2 weeks — so we have spent a significant amount of time and money there. Last night check in was not met with a welcome or the usual “Thank you for being Spire Elite… ”. The lady at the desk had no smile, no thanks or even a smile when we told her she did not have to write up the 14 cards for breakfast right away. I know they have new staff but this one was quite sour. …Rooms are good but the wardrobes are seriously small. I get the bulk of people may only stay a night or two — but for two people with 2 weeks of clothes to hang up — you really need a hanging space more than 2 feet wide. Overall I like the hotel. The menu could use a bit more selection but I do recommend it.

We stayed overnight with our two dogs before flying out the following morning. This is one of the few places in the area that allows dogs. We reserved a suite, which was huge and comfortable, perfect for traveling with our furry friends. Hotel shuttle with our dogs was quick and friendly. The only downside was there is no grassy area around the hotel for dogs to do their business. But I can't really complain about that. Just a reminder for those that might travel with their dog.

Room not them latest but big. Lobby is often full and the staff seem overwhelmed. Shuttle runs 24h to any terminal you want.

It is a clean, nice place, well preserved and good care. It has free Wifi, breakfast included and parking.

The bartender was not very pleasant and was preoccupied with her cellphone. Went in for a quick bite because the restaurant was closed at the time and she never even acknowledged my presence. I sat for over 10 minutes in a lounge chair and left upset with the level of (lack of) customer service there.

I would say the staff are generally not very welcoming. I have had better welcomes in other hotels. I got here around 1am to check in and the lady at the front desk couldn’t have been less helpful. Anyway I finally figured out how to get to the room I was assigned to. The room I must say was quite spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping was properly done. Just like all hotels they don’t give enough toiletries. Well the next morning I came downstairs for breakfast I was warmly welcomed at the entrance and offered a seat Before I had finished eating the waitress had brought the bill (This happened all the days I stayed here) I found it quite rude like I was being sacked from the restaurant. Food At the breakfast buffet is quite good in terms of variety and flavours. I would have given a 5 but the workers here are not very welcoming.

Clean, nice modern design, shuttle to the airport. We were early for check-in and so were many others as there was quite a line when we arrived. So we were surprised when they offered us free drink vouchers while we waited for the rooms to be ready! We thought it was one per room, but our friendly bartender gave us all free drinks. A great way to start the evening. The restaurant is not amazing, especially since it is pricey. But not shocking for NYC especially airport neighborhood NYC. It seems that many people get booked in to this hotel for free when they encounter flight mishaps and there is a $30ish buffet that many also seem to get vouchers for. I would eat somewhere else if you have transport or order in delivery if available.

Stayed 17 Feb 2018 — 21 Feb 2018. Wonderful stay, staff very welcoming, attentive and helpful. Room was good size with mini fridge, coffee maker and ice machine nearby. The view of Airport at night beautiful. Bus to LIRR just a short walk down the street — need correct change or purchase a metro card from hotel near bus stop. Green Acres Mall just minutes away (we travelled using Uber — really nice drivers). Restaurant food very delicious, worth the wait. Airport shuttle leaves on time for airport departure terminals and pick up from Federal Circle no waiting. Traffic did not hinder our sleep or interfere with TV viewing, everyday sounds. — Bermuda.

Nice; Updated; close to JFK Has a nice big bar in the restaurant with a good selection. Ask for a room on the parking lot side (away from the freeway) if you are a light sleeper. I hear the gym in this hotel is great but I didn't make it down.

HORRIBLY uncomfortable beds, pillows too squishy and shapeless. No comforter on a bed in New York City, in the middle of winter?! Thin sheets and light, summer weight blanket so I was freezing last night. Ordered $14 italian sausage in hotel restaurant… was burned and hard, very unappetizing. I took it back. There is no where else to eat around the hotel since it is in a residential area. I don't recommend this hotel AT ALL.

They are really accommodating at this hotel. The staff was friendly and they really made sure everyone got a shuttle as soon as possible even though they said shuttle only runs ever 30 minutes, they tried their best to beat that promise and it didn't go unappreciated by me! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the TV didn't work and the hallways are long and dark and a little scary.

Cozy hotel, close to airport and major highway to get around town. Good bar and eats. Very decent rooms. Clean.

Convenient shuttle to airport. Free parking, keep in mind it's not a huge parking lot. Beds are comfy. I like that they offer a fridge and coffee maker in the room. Due to the fact that it is close to the JFK airport there's not much around this area unless you got a car to go to other places for food other than the hotel restaurant.

Room is excellent. They have an air filter built into the air con. Beds and pillows are super comfortable.

Stayed here as a last minute change from Atlanta. The room was an excellent size, good shower and the beds oh the beds, they were the comfiest hotel beds I have slept in for a long time! We had bar snacks in the hotel which were great and not overly priced. If I was going through JFK again over night this would be first choice.

I will never go to a crown crappie hotel. They killed the young lady at one of their hotel. The manager cover it up. These hotel are known for organs stealers. The main hotel is international. Don't support this business. J4k and others that went missing.

Clean enough the concierge was very friendly. Somehow we ended up in a suite. The pull out in the second room did not have sheets readily available but house keeping did a great job getting them right to us. VERY clean and friendly.

Clean room that seemed to be recently remodeled. It was surprisingly quiet considering it was the ground floor by the parking lot. I didn't get the chance to use any of the amenities of the hotel as I wasn't there long enough. Unfortunately, breakfast left a lot to be desired. Greasy potatoes and greasy sausage, eggs that had no flavor. Not worth the $20.

Nice property no front desk help though. Called front desk and was on hold over 13 minutes. Finally walked down there. All other service was great.

Beautiful room lots of space, helpful and friendly staff, I had to extend my stay for another day staff were helpful and could stay in the same room. The facilities are really good and my stay was very pleasant, comfortable beds good shower and nice decor would highly recommend the crown plaza at JFK airport.

The on site restaurant was the highlight of my stay, tasty food although expensive with a decent drink menu. The shower in the room was very narrow and the tile grout hurt my feet. The blanket on the bed was very thin and I could not find a comfortable temperature for sleeping. There wasn't a single trashcan in my room. No complimentary coffee in the lobby of the hotel in the morning. I was on the second floor and it was very noisy, the walls are paper thin as I heard Everything happening in the hallway.

When I came in, the lobby was full and there were several lines for check-in. Or so I thought. It was a mess, by the time I got helped there were several people who worked their way to the front by jumping lines and got served first. I was assured it was uncommon, but for the past few days I've been here I've seen full lines every time I return in the evening. Zoey was great and did her best to help me get settled and calm my frustrations. The hotel itself is nice. Rooms are clean and fresh. Convenient location close to the airport, but not much else. The restaurant is appealing, but the food is mediocre. When you just want to eat something and go to bed, it does the trick. All in all, it is a good room at a fair price.

We were only a few hours behind JFK's flight delay. The room was very nice and comfortable. There was a continuous noise like air conditioner that did not take off all the time, even shutting down our apparatus.

This place is amazing. The stay was more than welcoming as the staff was quick to help me without issue. They kept asking me if I needed anything. I did and they were quick to accommodate me. They have a lot of cool stuff at their desk and vending services. It was a very clean room. On top of that, it was a very large room for NYC. The bathroom was the most pleasurable experience as it was spotless and had everything I needed and more. Parking was not an issue and I didn't feel like I was going to get mugged like you do in certain places in Queens. I couldn't have felt more at home at this place. The price was fine for NYC but it is still higher than most places of the same caliber in other cities. It's very close to the airport as well. I can't stop talking about how great this place was and I plan on using them again in the future. A+++

Room was clean and comfortable. Decent quality toiletries and coffee/tea supplies. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food and wine were good to very good except for the lamb which was tough and dry despite the waiter's promise of tender juicy lamb. They didn't have the decency to take it off the bill or to propose a different dish. Salmon was excellent and breakfast good.

The hotel was very nice and the breakfast was very good… Good decoration and comfortable beds. The shower tile is a little rough to the touch of the feet.

The hotel was very nice and clean in the lobby, the clean rooms and the beds very comfortable. The restaurant very clean and the food very good and fresh. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel were the hallways, the carpet was old and ugly and the hallway had an unpleasant smell.

This hotel is located around residential area no restaurant or food at walking distance hotel van is not available to take you anywhere other to the airport. Basement restaurant is very expensive and mostly junk-food. Since most of their customers are travelers from the airport and one time visitor they don't mind charging arm and leg. Horrible experience will never stay in this crown plaza again.

Nice open bar area, expensive, but good food. Bartender was a huge help, she helped me figure out and plan the easiest, quickest way to use the subway into the city. Nice spot, but to expensive.

This was my first time visiting New York City. I was kind of nervous about exploring the city on busses, subways, cabs, trains, etc. I hardly had to ask, and a hotel attendent was already booking a cab and recommending a transportation plan for our night. This was the type of service we received in all areas of our stay.

Staff was nice, hotel was clean and chic to an extent… a little wear and tear but nothing to concern one self about. Not that noticeable. Loved the fact they have shuttle to and from JFK. The room was comfortable, bedding nice… loved the glass shower. My room was right by elevator, vending and window (which needed cleaning) faces the highway but I didn't hear much or it didn't bother me. I would definitely stay again. Had nice convo with bartender Renee who fixed me a drink with 99 proof of peach snaps? Whatever the case I was feeling relaxed after two. Unfortunately did not go to restaurant or fitness but sure they were ok. Yes I would stay again… this was just an overnighter.

Really nice place, hotel room was clean, staff was amazing and everything was well put together. My only issue with the place is the location. Nothing to do and it didn't feel the safest.

Decent hotel. Large clean rooms. The beds need replacement and feel warn. The bar has good beer on tap and good food.

The location wasn't super convenient for going downtown, but our flight out was so easy. The staff members were all kind and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall not a bad hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. They even recommended that I not walk in the neighborhood at night which I appreciated. The bar had excellent drink specials. The food was good and the prices about right. Rooms are clean but the bedding was not very comfortable. I would probably stay again.

This hotel is very close to the JFK airport. Very busy 24 hours a day, but staff is very attentive and helpful. Rooms are big for NYC hotel and really up to date. The restaurant and bar is also very nice and the food is delicious. Service was great from the doorman to the front desk. We will be back.

Drove hours looking forward to relaxing at the pool. WTF… who builds a hotel with no pool for summer. I don't recommend this place at all! The hotel is in a residential neighborhood. Lobby looks like a space age setting. Where to get something to eat. I will always stay at the hilton from this moment on. My grade for this hotel is a D and that's being generous.

Last week I and my friend went for a dinner in this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and cooperative. The food was nice too. An incident happen which I did not like it and wanted to share and let the management know that the Restaurant manager with a name Attef was shouting, yelling at staff in restaurant area in front of everyone. He was very rude and loud. If there was any issue with staff he should have taken him to another area and talk and sorted out as a proper, educated manager would have done it. How did they such manager which does not have manners!

Couldn't ask for friendlier or more helpful staff. Great stay is you need to be close to JFK.

I will admit, when I first walked into the hotel, I was very satisfied with the overall look and layout. It's a gorgeous hotel, with a very friendly staff. Walking in my room I was equally impressed with the decor and overall feel. That aside, there are some things about the room that irk me and will continue to be bothersome. First, there are no small hand towels, only large and medium sized in the bathroom. Secondly, the door to the room has a one inch gap at the bottom, so not only does it let in a bunch of light, but sound travels through the door easily. I have to lay a towel down so I can get complete darkness in my room. Thirdly, the AC is quite loud, so it's very apparent when it kicks on and off. Lastly, one of my biggest pet peeves is the comforter on the bed. Instead of putting a warm thick comforter or something of equal substitution, they put a quilt — like thin blanket. Not only is it not warm, but it's a very cold winter and it would be preferable to have a nice warm comforter to sleep underneath.

I couldn't rest properly and woke up at 3 AM because of noise from the express way. Called reception for help and he offered me to put "TISSUE" to plug my ear. Best assistance ever.

Great place very clean, nice atmosphere, modern and a very courteous staff. Rooms are a good size, but the bathroom is extremely small. Overall had a Really nice experience at the hotel.
