Front Desk staff very helpful. Alex was always on post to assist. They were the best part of our stay.

No meals except bag breakfast and too many unusual activities outside the hotel.

Everything castumer surface parking and rest room all are fantastic Thank you 🙏🌹❤️

Hôtel cool and clean, but quite expensive for the service which is basic, compared to the hotels of the same style.

Very convenient and accommodating. Hospitality was amazing especially during covid-19.

The front desk receptionist was so kind to me after a long and grueling day. She even allowed me to check out late so I wouldn’t have to run around town all day. Sincerely appreciated after such a traumatic day. Thank you for your kindness!

It nice here but room 622 have very gases ways some time this hotel be lite up. Toxic gases fumes. I should call fire department.

Good place to crash in if your have a short layover between flights. There is a small bar/restaurant at the first floor, which is convenient and offer good food. We had some vegan options too!

Somehow assigned my room to somebody else while I was in It! Other than that, nice place. Nice little restaurant. Be advised if you like to walkbto other places, there is nothing nearby.

The guest service is really awful! They'll wasting your time and money. I have made a call to make sure if they would allow us putting our luggage before we go abroad. And I have asked them my reservation is 4 days later, is that possible I can put my luggage NOW? and the guest service said " YES, YOU CAN. " So we took taxi there before our flight, and the front desk agent are rude and gave us a totally different answer. They said we only can left our luggage for few hours before our reservation. Excuse me?! Then why don't you say that in the phone? Is your guest service in the different space with your hotel? I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay this hotel.

They did not have rooms, but the staff helped us in finding accommodation in another hotel.

Just horrible. A perfect location on the edge of the highway and the airport but without any soundproofing. Can't sleep.
A restaurant in the basement with a buffet at $24 per person awful with rice pasta and low-end chicken.

It's kind of inconvenient to have to ride the air train to the hotel pick up point from the airport. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was pleasant.

Hallway on floor 3 wreaked of weed, and it's generally outdated. We only needed to stay because our flight was canceled, but it should've been better for $130/night. On the bright side, the staff was very friendly, the shuttle was convenient, and the food was better than expected.

The room was comfortable and clean. Had been recently remodeled and looked nice. Shower was spacious and hot water was plentiful. Stayed in the club upgrade. Morning breakfast was delicious. Evening appetizer and wine was a nice end to the day. Restaurant food was delicious and portions we're generous.

The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. They picked up our bags and gave us free food. Five stars would come again gladly.

Awesome hotel! Great rooms, awesome breakfast and the lounge upstairs, where you can have a snack ans some wine or sodas if you want to. We spent the Christmas holidays there… it was the BEST choice ever! Adriana in the reception, made sure we felt like at home! She is excellent in meeting customers’ needs! Oh, and our dogs stayed for free! I am really thankful we stayed there and we will be back, for sure! :)

I stayed at the Sheraton near JFK for 5 nights. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

A very professional quiet clean affordable hotel. The view left a lot to be desired. However I enjoy that the shuttle takes me right to the JFK Airport. There's a restaurant there. I really enjoyed my stay.

Staff were awesome. We were flying back to Hawaii so left hotel at 7 am in. Which case they provided our entire tour group of 24 a complimentary, generous snack to go package. They also bake their own cookies and available in lobby in the afternoons. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable.

Decent. Nothing special. Pretty nice size workout room. No fridge. Pretty small TVs but nothing terrible about it either.

Rooms are nice. Staff are nice. They know you're trapped and charge an arm and a leg for food.

A true taste of NYC, you're price gouged immediately. Airport inspired prices at the bar, $19 breakfast no better than motel 6. And $30 a day parking. No microwave or mini fridge in the room, decoration straight out of 1999. King size bed feels like a stack of loosely stacked papers, sheets are rough to the touch. But the staff is friendly and professional. Anymore than 2 days here I'd be fed up.

The room was extremely clean, the shower worked awesome. It was a very strong stream and it was a walk-in shower rather than with a bathtub which I loved. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The area around the hotel isn't much to look at but inside the hotel was like an oasis.

The rooms are great, the location is great if you need to be near the airport, and they have a very convenient shuttle service. My issue is with the service of the front desk staff. I had a cancelled flight, so I had to stay overnight at the expense of the airline. Only the Sheraton didn't have a reservation for my airline. I had to travel back all the way to terminal 5 of JFK, with all of my luggage, and wait in line for the supervisor. Once there, I just heard that the front desk staff at Sheraton didn't know how to make the booking. I returned to the Sheraton to find that they had the booking now. They apologized and blamed the airline. I'd been travelling internationally for 17 hours at this point, so I really don't care who's fault it was. It just seems to me like incompetence all around. I don't appreciate being in the middle of the blame game especially when it wastes 4 hours of my life travelling between an airport and hotel. I'm sure you'll be fine staying at this hotel if you're an easy booking that will check out the next morning to catch a flight. I just hope that you don't have anything remotely complicated to deal with. The staff might not be up to the challenge and then will do little to rectify it.

The staff here was very friendly and helpful, no issues during our meetings, but apparently a few days before we got there a storm caused features on the building to come crashing down on people and cars in the parking lot. The lot was closed to parking and we had to park in a different area, on side streets. The neighbor hood seems sketchy after sundown. Still, great rooms and a great stay. Manhattan is a 20min metro bus ride + a 30 min train ride away. Super easy and cheap commute to the city.

The hotel when we check in took us 2 hours to verify with our company that they paid our reservations whereas we already us for a long time as a partner of the company. The front desk agent was so rude and didn't had enough skills to provide the best customer service. My room was locked and was not open for 6 hrs because of poor solution and no backup plan. For any reasons they should make the guest feel comfortable and offer a new room without even telling them what to do … They should be trained and taught how to provide an excellent customer service. Their proper use of words should be also practice properly every time. The front desk is the heart of the hotel and I observe that the housekeepers are more respectful and accomodationg than the front desk. They lack initiative and critical thinking skills. Sorry to say but food is horrible and server is very rude to even ask me for a card when I am in a rush and had to leave …

I stayed here for a job training, charlette and vivana from the night crew were so nice. They had a professionalism about them very nice to all the guest I saw them taking care off. Its a pricey hotel for the area and parking is not free. 21 plus tax is not cheap and I feel that with the rooms being up in price the least they can do is not charge for parking. The front lobby and the room are very nice. I love the sub tiles in the shower. A pool would be great as well especially cuz I saw alot of younger kids. Great experience and would recommend to people.

21 bucks to park seems like gouging your guests. Rooms were nice but elevators take forever. I asked if they had stairs but was told no. I figure we all die if there is a fire.

I didn't expect much from the Sheraton JFK simply because of its location and it being affiliated with an airport. I have to say it exceeded my expectations, however. For one, Freddie was extremely welcoming and attentive. After we checked in, he offered to take our luggage upstairs. We were only there for 2 nights and didn't have that much to bring but he insisted in the most gracious and pleasant way. He made us feel as if he truly wanted to provide a service for us. He set our mini getaway on the right foot. Once we were in the room, he showed us around, offered to get us ice, and then said he would call our room within an hour as we wanted recommendations for restaurants where there was live music. He went above and beyond his call of duty. Our stay was great. I travelled with my significant other and everything was to our liking. The only two things to note that would need improvement would be the bathroom door and the shower. The bathroom door didn't have a lock on it. This wasn't problematic to us in any way so we were perfectly fine with it but understand that if we weren't a couple, this could have been problematic and a nuisance. In terms of the shower, the hotter the water was, the shower head would make a shrieking noise. This in no way put a damper on things. Both the bathroom and room were clean and spacious. I've stayed at hotels in Manhattan and have had less room for more money so this was definitely a bargain.

Not happy at all after paying a high rate room staff has an attitude at the time of check in we got charge for parking ridiculous price ($21.00pd) we got into the room and found out that even for the water we have to pay. The next morning we went for breakfast (B grade) and got charged for it too ($40.00) wasn't the greatest food even worse after I saw their grade. This hotel won't be on my list next time I come to NY.

I had a very pleasant stay recently. The hotel looks like it is undergoing renovation but there was no noise. (There was a dumpster in the parking lot). Room were very clean and the lobby is small. Very convenient to the Airport. Would stay again.

Worst Hotel ever. Watch 25.00 parking fee. Old and not friendly stuff.

This is the worst Starwood property I have ever seen. Just gross. Hallways are so dirty, almost black carpets. JfK obviously gets a lot of use, but this place is worked. Service is ok, room was ok, clean sheets, but overall pretty horrible.

It's an airport hotel, so don't expect too much, the shuttle runs every 30 mins to federal circle to connect to the AirTrain so it's convenient for JFK.

Nice place near the airport. Shuttle service to the air train that takes you to the terminals. The downside is that 1) next door to homeless shelter, you don't want to be out at night. 2) nothing in the area you have to walk a few blocks to a gas station for snacks.

Stay away very disappointing experience, reserved a room with two beds for a family of two adults and two kids 14 days before stay day. Hotel sold out all two beds rooms (at this rate and offered me one at twice the price) and gave us one bed. Very rude staff with no mercy to work out a solution for a family with young kids at midnight. I still can't believe they tried to take advantage of the situation to make some money.

I do a lot of lay offers to on NY to Paris flights. This is a pretty good hotel. Their service was really great on the last stay. The staff went above and beyond so I wanted to give them a compliment. Good work guys.
