It's a very convenient hotel close to subway station and all the attractions. The rooms are compact and clean. The breakfast was regular and nothing too fancy in a compact pantry. You can get coffee, tea or lemon water at anytime of the day.

Staff are so friendly, ready help, check in and check out both staff are nice. I am giving five star only because of staff. Hotel property, location and cleaness is just okay! Breakfast is below four star.

The tall black male staff works on the front desk is really mean and has no desire to bring any joy to the hotel guests. All his answers are cold and unpleasant. Most of the answers he gave were "I don't know" or " we don't have it". I think you can hire a robot and it will at least bring us some surprise of seeing a robot. It is not very nice to see a real person to play as a robot in a very bad acting way. It is a NBA game night but not a weekend one. Just a week day game night and we plan to stay in a hotel closer to avoid late night traffic on the big city. That staff was making sure we disappointed in every steps of our ways. The hotel is small and nice. But the staff is nightmare.

The rooms are okay, a bit aged, but it's the location (super close to Subway &Manhattan) and friendly staff (especially Sunny) that kept me returning every year.

Location is good, just 1 min away from the subway. The rooms are small, breakfast is basic. Front desk guys were nice.

2 steps from the subway 7 and N to reach the center of Manhattan near the Metro E to reach JFK airport Super quality price: €430 2 double beds 5 nights early May with breakfast included!
Classic home without more, room a little small but sufficient, standard equipment, clean, the air conditioning works well a bit noisy because close to the Metro but not so disturbing full breakfast but the room is very cramped one can find a place or bring back what we want in the room they keep luggage carefree after check out for an evening flight.

Good location. 1 block from the subway. Small room and breakfast is rich but chaotic for lack of space.

The reason I am rating Red Lion Inn with only 1 star is due to less than adequate customer service. The front desk and staff have terrible customer service! It’s acually very strange since hotels understand customer service is one of the most important factors leading to a successful business in this field. Also, overpriced. Not worth 210.00 per night at all. I hope this helps.

Perfect clean and super well located subway at the end of the street.

Just bad. The employees are great but the hotel its self is not worth 100$+ a night for sure… The window wouldn't even shut close and having my 4 year old with me and being on the 6th floor it was bad and cold.

Good price and clean. The Windows very old, it gets cold and a lot of noise. Very small Buffet with 4 tables.

This hotel had great value. They even had eggs and sausage. There's also a business center and a gym. For the price I paid, the closeness to the train, and cleanliness to the room this hotel is the most bang for your buck. No parking though but that's okay.

During our stay at the above hotel (room 412) for 3 nights both myself and my husband suffered severe bed bugs bites all over our bodies. We noticed about 50 bites on our bodies the following morning, and more continued to erupt throughout the day, causing severe itching, inflammation and swelling. Fearing that we had suffered an allergic reaction, we seek medical advice and were informed that the marks on our skin were bed bug bites. We were prescribed antihistamines and hydrocortisone to combat the symptoms. The manager of the hotel YJ Ahn was apologetic but did not seem surprised about our injuries, in fact he did not even want to visit the room we stayed in nor took a look at the photographs of the dirty bedrooms and our injuries we were willing to show him (attached). He said he was aware of the state the rooms were in. We paid over $600 for 3 nights and the management refused to refund us the full amount we paid, instead gave us back $260. On our return home we paid a fortune to dry clean content of 4 suitcases and threw away the bags. This hotel ruined our trip to NY. In fact I'd rather sleep on the street than there. It's a shame that a hotel with 80 guest rooms has only four tiny tables in a breakfast bar. The breakfast is horrible. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Has breakfast and small area for eating. Train 1 block away, 10 min from Manhattan. Clean. Ice machine. Some exercise equipment. Rooms are nit gigantic, but I am not here to sit in my hotel room all day. 5 stars for good price and clean place.

Free breakfast (decent selection, good coffee), saving money the next morning is a plus. Everything is clean, ZERO bugs. I dont have a lot of money, so I try my best to find clean places for a good price. This is one of them. Staff is friendly. Close to Manhattan. There is construction in this neighborhood, but I stayed on the lower level floor and didnt hear anything. Blow dryer in the bathroom, and iron w/board. If you forget any toiletries, they provide replacements. Next time I am in NYC I will come back. I give 5 stars because it was clean, safe, no bugs, great location, and a lot of extra amenities.

We loved our stay at this comfort inn. The subway was literally at the end of the street. The staff was very courteous. For breakfast, you had a pretty good selection to choose from. The room was very clean. The floors in our room were wood/laminate, not the dirty carpet you usually get elsewhere. The room was small, but for the price and location we were very impressed. Would definitely recommend.

Normal, a 5 min walk from the metro station, average breakfast and affordable price for the price level Aue there. Antique design.

Well located. Little maintained. Small rooms with small breaks that you warn and do not fix. Small bed. Not recommended. Insufficient bathroom. I won't be back.

Good location. One block from Queensboro station. They are very cordial with the guests.

He needs a remodel. The hotel in general looks old. The staff was very friendly. Extremely small dining room. Just around the corner from the subway station.

Sort of dirty. Free breakfast. Noisy. Hallways in poor repair. Needs an upgrade.

But! Do not be on the 3/5/7th floor ice machine in the hallways very noisy. Plus The windows of the rooms very obsolete.

Friendly staff, decent price for NY. We got a basement room so you can hear people talking as they walk by all night. Free breakfast with the basics. Even though the rooms were small, would stay there again.

I honestly had a really wonderful experience at Comfort Inn in Queens. You might think from the pictures that the location is sketchy but I felt very safe every day I was there. There were even times when I was coming to the hotel around 2 in the morning. It's super convenient being right next to the Subway. Got into the city whenever I needed to. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great! Would stay here again.

Our room was fine. No complaints about the room or the breakfast. But there needs to be more than ONE person behind the desk. The ONE person is either on the phone for a very long time, or they are checking in people for a VERY lONG time! There needs to be 2 people behind the desk at ALL times!

After the first night, I stopped at the front desk to inform them that neither our in-room coffee pot, nor our bath fan worked. I let the desk person know that I had put the "Do not disturb" card in our room lock, because we preferred to not have housekeeping in, but we DID want the other issues addressed. We got back to the room late at night, and did not stop to ask if the corrections had been made, but the next morning, found out they had not. Not only that, but we woke to the sound of a jackhammer in the lower floors of our building at 7:30 AM. The only other thing worth mentioning is, the room had a handful of shoddy and unsightly repairs.

Great hotel good location breakfast in standard but acceptable. And a hotel all in all nice for the expense figure and close.

Great staff, clean room. Location is right near 7 line and only a few stops from Manhattan. If you're looking to save some money, yet still stay in a good place, I recommend this hotel.

For two country bumkins travelling to NY alone for the first time this hotel was very accommodating. For the price and location you can't beat it. Friendly staff, clean room, and free breakfast. Don't be deceived by the appearance on Google maps. It's clean and safe. We came back late from Broadway each night and never felt remotely in danger.

The rooms are very small but clean, and the breakfast OK without more…
The neighborhood is not terrible and the view from some rooms looks over a plastic recovery depot (cans, cans etc…)
On the other hand, the hotel is very close to a metro station… You will be only 1 station Manhattan and 6 Times Square.

The curtains couldn't shut so there was no way to block the light. It is right next to Queensborough station so loud but convenient. Clean room and friendly staff.

The people were so helpful and friendly. It is located close to subway stations that you can use to access most places in NYC. My only problem was the cleaning people turned our air conditioner off every day while we were gone so we didn't come back to a cold room.

Room was decent. They had a good free breakfast. No complaints. Room was cheap and got more than expected. Better than those 5 star hotels where you have to pay for everything.

Helpful staff, clean rooms, clean towels and breakfast is included. Easy to get into town and out to Brooklyn. The N-Q-R and 7 trains run from just around the corner and the G is up on Jackson Ave. Queens is a great little spot, with bars, fast food, and it's not full of tourists!

Clean room, beds/linen good, pillows awful (bring your own). Hotel staff courteous. Oj was watered down. Would consider another stay (would be my 3rd).

Meanwhile, I must say it's really good value for money. It is 100 metres from the metro and after 12 minutes you are in Times square efficient services. Cleaning with Wi-Fi and free breakfast.

My room was a complete trash, was destroyed and the rooms were to small Sincerely a recomend you another hotel than this.

Recommended without reservations! Small, but nice — rooms (bathroom and bedroom) knotless clean (and I'm picky), intact and Mint; only little storage space (small cabinet, but some drawers) which is but to cope with. The staff is very very nice and always auskunfts — and helpful. The nearest metro station is barely 100 metres away, so it is 5 min on the 5th Avenue corner of Central Park. In the immediate vicinity, there are some bars, where you can assemble all possible dishes (even salad and vegetables) for relatively little money. If you don't like the typical sparse American breakfast at the hotel, can feast on so here.
