Windows are great, no city noise to hear. Front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. Corner room is ideal. More space and view. It seems that this hotel's management has focused on very high quality service. The staff is so nice and helpful. Attention is paid to a lot of details, definitely more than usual within the Garden Inn brand. The area is quiet at night, providing a good night sleep. Location, less than 5 minutes' walk to two subway stations is fantastic, you can be in Manhattan in about 10 minutes. Definitely worth considering when you want to be very close to the city, but without all the craziness.

Good enough accommodations. Wasn't really there love h enough to review service, but what I did interact with was pleasant. Would stay here again.

Rooms are small but beautiful and modern. Completely refurbished. No on-site parking but there's a reasonably priced public parking garage right next door. Conveniently located next to the Queensboro Bridge, so you can be in Manhattan in minutes.

Nice hotel but rooms are on the smaller side. Parking in the garage next door is on the pricey side. Good fitness center with precor equipment. I didn't eat at their restaurant. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

Went here for an overnight layover after an overseas vacation with my wife. The room was so comfortable we felt like we got a full night's sleep despite the jetlag. The staff was more than hospitable and left us a personalized note acknowledging our anniversary and my wife's birthday.

This hotel is kinda perfect if you don't want to stay directly in the city. Reasonably priced, close to the subway. Easy to get to LaGuardia and JFK. Rooms are simple, compact. No bath tub or bath robe if you wanted those things. Staff friendly. Restaurant and room service til like 10pm.

Nice hotel, excellent staff, quiet and very clean. The location is ok but there are not a lot of quick food options close by. The one big negative is the shower is just a dribble of water and does not get hot enough.

Well-equipped and clean hotel. We felt very comfortable. The connection to NYC is hassle-free and quite fast. The environment in LIC has a lot to offer, provided you have insider knowledge.

We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. I had the barbecue ribs and my dinner partner had a steak. Both cooked to perfection. The service was well executed and friendly.

Good place, location, staff. The bar is good and happy hour has good appetizer prices too. Close to the subway. Parking lot next to the hotel and a less expensive one only one block away.

I never write reviews but my experience at this hotel was bad enough to warrant a response. The bad experience started at the parking garage where the attendant was rude and could not clearly convey how much the rates were. I had to get another bag from my car later in the day and the attendant was extremely rude and told us we can't do that. He pointed to a sign to reinforce his outlandish statement. I'm not sure if he has trouble with the English language or if he had been trained otherwise but the sign he pointed to said that the parking garage was not responsible for luggage and bags from an Insurance standpoint. I don't believe the parking garage is associated with the hotel itself so I had not calculated that into my 2 star rating. When I got up to my room, I noticed an alarming stain on the bed that resembled bodily fluids. I immediately called the front desk and they sent someone up to change the sheets. The attendant that came up tried to insist that the stain was due to the material being worn out. There was not a snowballs chance in hell that it was due to the sheets being worn out. After I told him it is obviously love stains, he continued to refute that fact. I decided it wasn't even worth the argument and asked him to please just change the sheets. With immense attitude, he ripped the sheets off the bed and at that point, I told him to just leave it so that I would do it myself. I understand that people have bad days especially in today's day and age.

Great happy hour. Food was good. Rooms are nice, but a little cluttered. Parking is expensive. Overall, a great hotel for being in a busy part of NY.

A very well located hotel and the people are nice. The "buts" are that the toilet service is not as complete as one would like (do not take out the trash, for example) and the standard breakfast is quite monotonous and flat, unless you pay an extra fee.

A step away from everything, room size good for New York, excellent staff attention, the restaurant is expensive for what it provides, the Metro is 150 meters away and is located at a Central Park station from Queens.

Very nice hotel. Big rooms and like two. Free Wi-Fi. Coffee maker in the room for breakfast and cooler. And the best is the location: a few meters from the Queens Plaza station! And from there to Manhattan only 2 seasons! That's great. Hyper recommended.

Typical Hilton. Well run and considering it's NYC, the price is reasonable. The location is in a very up and coming area. Only problem is the lack of restaurants in the hood. It could use a good fast food restaurant anyway. There is plenty of public transportation. Oh, there is another consideration and that the traffic in the area is horrendous, it's the entrance to the 59th Street (or Ed Koch) bridge. Not to far from LGA. JFK is a bit of a haul. You probably should eat breakfast there.

The Hilton Garden staff at this location were super friendly and helpful. They greeted me right away and helped store my bags quickly while I rushed out to a meeting prior to checking in. Check in was quick. The rooms were a bit smaller but the bed was comfy. Water pressure wasn't terrible but certainly wasn't great either.

Hotel is close to UBahn Station. Otherwise, the area is not so interesting, LIC stop.

Great location one block or so from Queens Plaza Subway station. A few blocks down Queens Blvd North is Crescent St which has a few bars and a market convenience store where you can buy beer and groceries and there is a Mobile gas station there as well on Crescent. Luckys Pizza is good near the Queens Plaza subway area. Room had a fridge and microwave and the bed was comfy. View from room was okay but not Manhattan skyline views. Very friendly staff and they do offer room service but no free morning breakfast.

There is not enough I can say about this Hilton location. The consistent, superior, Hilton experience is exemplified here. From every level of the staff, this is where I wish I could submit six stars. I would describe myself as a "high needs" guest. I only have to ask. The impossible becomes easy.

No surprise traffic can be gridlocked in this area, so a forewarning for those with cars. We returned to our room on the second night and the room smelled of electrical burning. They gave us another room, and were not compensated for the inconvenience. Aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable.

There is also a bar/lobby for relaxing or waiting to join up with the rest of your party. The hotel is within a short walk from Queens Plaza subway platform and Queensboro for a quick commute to Manhattan. I will strongly consider staying with them again.

Nice hotel, good location. We had booked for 3 adults (2 of 60 years and 1 of 25 years). When we arrived in the room, the double bed super, but surprised, the sofa bed even not open, we had to do it on our arrival, and the mattress very very bad, old, fine and felt all the springs: it is unacceptable for a hotel of this type.

Wonderful urban Experience! nice, new and clean… great staff! Very friendly and personable… right across the street from the subway is a huge plus! Also eye candy at the front desk named Francis… where are you?! ☺

We booked a block of rooms for our NYC wedding this past April and also hosted a breakfast the morning after in one of their function rooms. The staff was gracious, professional and attentive. All of our guests felt very comfortable and made great use of the restaurant and bar! We all had a GREAT time! It's location to at least 4 different subway lines made it so easy for everyone to enjoy the city stress free. It was a perfect home base for our joyous celebration! The rooms can be on the smaller side but the views form the upper floors are worth it. You'd have a hard time finding anything overly spacious in NYC so I wouldn't call that too much of a con. Overall, this hotel's staff made it very worth a stay!

Great service, Everything was superb. Staff was beyond courteous. Had dinner in lobby restaurant. My meal was out of this world delicious. I would expect food like this from restaurant in Midtown Manhattan at $50 a plate. Kudos to everyone at this location. You are a shining star for the Hilton brand!

Less than 2 minutes walk to the nearest subway station and only one stop to Lexington Avenue this hotel, while not on Manhattan island, is as close as you can get. The price was much less than nearby hotels and it was very clean. The area was fine. There are a few other new hotels being built close by this. While the rooms are small by US standards they were bigger than I was expecting for New York.

Rooms are a little small, but cozy and quiet. Great location, close to the subway with quick access to Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan.

Usually good service. This time I had a broken coffee machine, no hot water in my shower and the outlet next to my bed didn't charge my phone all night. It could have been a bad coincidence but it was not the best experience this time.

Very nice Hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It has felt very comfortable and was well informed. As soon as you ask about his leisure activities had been successfully helped. At the entrance of the hotel is always free cucumber/lemon/Limettenwasser (morning tea). If you are lucky hits, even at a time when the delicious Cookies out. Because these are usually sold out quickly. The location of the hotel is perfect! With the Metro one comes quickly to all the important places. The beautifully decorated rooms are clean and equipped with a large comfortable bed. By and large there is nothing to complain about! Kudos to Imran and Francis from the reception!

They're always out of cookies! For the price I am actually upset because this is a very minor perk to enjoying a Garden Inn that I really appreciate. Rooms are a but tight but furnished well with a high end TV.

Incredible staff, rooms are small but extremely nice (size was good considering we only slept there), the bar was great and the food was as well. The entrance to the subway was across the street so that made getting back and forth the Manhattan a breeze. We will definitely be back and staying here again. Very happy with our choice to stay!

Let me start off by saying, if you're the type of person that doesn't mind subways, saving money while still staying in a luxurious hotel — this is the place for you hands down. I like to note down things as best as possible since I also rely on TripAdvisor to see where I want to stay. I've stayed in Long Island City before at a Howard Johnson, 5 years ago (2010). My previous experience was good, but no where near as great as this hotel. Below are the points that I feel will strongly persuade you to stay at this hotel. 1) You are steps away from several subway lines. Queen's Plaza (lines E, M, R) is literally 50 meteres from the hotel entrance (not even exaggerating). I was so surprised that I could get to Central Park in 8 minutes by taking the subway. I highly recommend if you stay more than 3 nights to get the 7 day unlimited ride pass because you will see how convenient it is to get around. Queensboro Plaza is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and has lines N, Q, and 7. I would only use this line depending on where I was travelling back from, but again — highly convenient. 2) This area is incredibly loud, with several subways passing through and traffic all day you would think it would be a nightmare trying to go to sleep. This is not the case. The hotel rooms are equipped with sound-proof Schüco windows that have a rating of 110 dB sound proofing. In English, that means it can hold off a small planes engine.
