We loved everything about this hotel! Especially how private it feels! We had the room with a balcony and we'll definitely be coming back!

Very nice, with good amenities. Not the biggest suite, but roomy for mid-town without breaking the bank! Walking to 30 rock is as easy as crossing the street!

We stayed here May 2018 and loved everything about it. It's perfect for 2 people with limited luggage. Our room had an awesome view but oddly it was also very quiet. We'll be heading back to NY soon. The Jewel Hotel is our first choice when looking for a place to stay.

A nice little gem in the heart of Rockefeller Center! Immaculately clean! Perfect location after seeing a show at radio city — restaurants of choice everywhere and they have a great spot next door to relax and have breakfast which is incredible … happy hour as well — great little hotel with a lot of amenities…

We had a terrace room which was a great size and we loved using the terrace. Only downside was our room was very hot and the heating controller was broken but we just opened the door when we could to co it down so not the end of the world. Also note there are no safes in the rooms to store passports etc during ur stay. My husband loved the free coffee on floor 2 and the free bottled water was great also. Bed was comfy and bathroom/shower very good and clean. Location was great!

It's a decent hotel. The rooms are efficiently sized, and the location is great. Lots of good food and entertainment in walking distance. Probably the best quality for your dollar in the area, if you're looking for a home base for your visit.

A small gem of a hotel. The absolute BEST location in Manhattan with several great extras. Refillable water stations a coffee bar (2nd floor) and fresh cookies in the evening are all little extras. Friendly staff. The fitness room didn't have a treadmill, but with Central Park just blocks away who needs a treadmill?! Smaller rooms (reminded us of a cruise ship cabin), so not optimal for the entire family but perfect for couples. The only negative was the bed and linens comfort, which were not ideal but wouldn't sway us from staying again! Yes, go ahead and book here!

Great hotel location. You are within walking distance, if not steps away to a lot of sites, such as the Rockefeller Center, Radio City Hall and the transit systems. Room was a good size and had multiple chairs to sit in. My two complaints are the shower curtain was dirty and smelly and the desk is not a hard surface so it looks dirty even though it is clean. I checked with a wipe and it was clean. In fairness, once they changed the shower curtain, all was well. I'm sure if I asked they would have changed it sooner but in my mind the person servicing the room should have noticed. Lots of positives. On site complimentary laundry, 24/7 complimentary coffee/latte, tea etc. Wifi included. Friendly staff. Would recommend and stay again.

The hostess that greeted us was lovely. She got us room with a little more space. The location is walking distance from a ton of great places! Times Square, Hell's Kitchen, etc. Our room was classy and comfortable, but our microwave didn't work. Each floor has a lounge area which is very nice.

I have just stayed for 8 days in this hotel and it was fantastic. A hidden gem right in the heart of NY. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Shower is hot!, Wi-Fi is fast, free water on each level, staff are excellent and location is amazing. Happy to have found a boutique hotel that ticks all the boxes and I will be back.

Excellent location, very friendly and polite staff and huge room. Very happy with this hotel. The room was very clean and it was so big. The hotels is across the street from Rockefeller Center and on walking distance from the most Manhattan’s famous places. There is free drinking water on each floor that I really like, complementary coffee in the room and refrigerator. I would highly recommend it.

So far this place has exceeded my expectations. Although not a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ suite, it has plenty of room that we don’t feel cramped. There is an exercise mat in the room to take down to the small gym, unstocked mini bar (perfect for your own items), complimentary washing powder, standard ice machine etc, free Wi-Fi, almost brand new bathroom, purified water with plastic bottles to fill (too bad I didn’t read about this before I bought water from the store), an area to meet people, chill out or good waiting area if room is not ready called the Living Room. It’s across from Rockefeller Centre, next door to American Girl doll shop and very close to Radio city. Our package also included breakfast and it’s at a great place 2 doors up. I feel for the package we chose, GREAT value for money. Each staff member I’ve spoken to has been friendly.

I've been there twice. Excellent location in relation to the price. Small, comfortable, clean. Good attention. It's not a hotel for recreation, just for sleeping.

Great location. Heart of it all in NYC. Across from Radio Center and Rockefeller. A few blocks from Broadway and Times Square. A nice stroll to central park south. The mattresses could have been better. Ikea like quality with internal springs and no topper. I was upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite which was an amazing space. Two large bedrooms (for NYC) and 2 full baths. Plus a sitting area for 5-6 people and a kitchenette. 3 flat screens give everyone options if you're in for the night. Only real complaint was A/C only seemed to work in the interior bedroom and cut out during the night. Would absolutely stay again.

Excellent service amenities and rooms for a great price. Our room looked out at radio City and we had a coffee maker unlike our room at a previous hotel. Away from the rat race but in the middle of the city wonderful place.

A very conveniently located hotel for many highlights of NYC. Good safe street for solo older female to be walking back from Met opera, MOMA, Times Square and theatres which were all relatively nearby. Lovely ambience, great reception staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Good value.

Stayed at the jewel for a week. Loved all the amenities and the location was superb. The staff, especially Renee was so gracious. Asking us if we need anything! We thoroughly enjoyed the CQ club. What a great perk to staying at the jewel.

Love this place! Rooms are small, as to be expected in Manhattan, but they are laid out very well. Free filtered water with bottled in the hallway. It says it's "facing Rockefeller Center", but that's kind of misleading. Yes it faces Rockefeller Center, but you can't see the building from your room. There's a whole block of buildings between The Jewel and The Rock, with an open area in the middle of the block, allowing you to walk right from the hotel to Rock Center. The Jewel is located very conveniently such that it's about equal distance between Central Park and Times square. Not a difficult walk for anyone not physically disabled. Close by the Empire State Building, Grand Central Station and Broadway, too. The price is good, too, considering everything else. Plus, you get a voucher for a discount at a parking garage that's about 2 blocks away. I think it was $25/day. Not too shabby in Manhattan.

The Jewel hotel is a hidden Gem but you have to know what you are going to. Most of the rooms are am all but they are modern and clean. This hotel offers free water which is great and for the location it is a great price. If you need parking they offer a deal with a close Parko g garage for $36 a night which is unheard of in NYC. This hotel is right across from Rockefeller Center. If you are traveling as a couple and you are looking for a great hotel with great location then this is your hotel!

Hotel was great. Staff was very friendly and the room was very nice. The location is particularly good. The staff was also willing to check our bags which is especially helpful on trips to NY where you often want to leave after the check out time.

My son just returned. Awesome staff, everyone very nice. Secret Santa blew him away! Coming back next year. Everyone in new York was so nice he said.

The Jewel Hotel worked out perfectly for our last minute decision to visit NYC and was a perfect central location. We arrived too early for check-in but the staff made sure we felt settled and ready for our day around the city. We arrived back late in the evening resulting in a change in concierge but they knew exactly who we were and provided us with room keys and bags already delivered to the room. The room was perfect and provided the necessities, internet service, coffee. Once settled we did request a few more items for the room and I was surprised the late night request was accommodated in minutes. The following day we checked out but remained in the city. The staff were wonderful, holding our bags and assisting with our travel out of the city. We are looking forward to making this a family tradition during the holiday season and having the Jewel be there place we temporarily call home.

Reasonably priced hotel in a great location. I wanted to wander around and take in some of the sights around midtown and it was ideal for this. Rooms were clean but obviously not vacuumed every day.

Just got back after 6 wonderful days in NYC
This hotel is excellent value and could not be situated in a better spot. It’s smack bang opposite the Rockafella/Radio City building and is five mins walk to Time Square and a few mins more to Central Park. The subway is a minute away on 6th Avenue. Sacks and all the wonderful shops on 5th are just round the corner too. The hotel is clean and modern with all facilities including mega fast Wi-Fi. It doesn’t have a bar or restaurant but you can use the sister hotel two doors down for that. It does have free iced water on every floor and also tea and coffee making facilities in the lounge area.
Highly recommended and we’ll definitely go back as we the loved it and mid town in general.

It was a very nice experience, and our room overlooked Rockefeller Plaza. It's loacted across the street from the Plaza and not too far from Times Square. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and they have complimentary baggage holding if you need to leave some time after checkout. I loved the hotel and will absolutely go back if I get a chance.

We stayed here for my wife’s 30th Birthday. The Location is excellent! Could not ask for a better location! Now, we stayed in room 1202. Our air conditioner leaked really bad from the condensation. We called the front desk and they sent a really nice technician who was part of the staff up and got it fixed. Thankfully, the hotel has windows that open and so we just had our windows open every night since the weather had some nights with some good cold weather! The bed was comfortable, our blanket kept sliding off so we used a fleece blanket from the closet instead, and wish the pillows were a little bigger and more comfortable! The bathroom was really nice! It was also nice to have filtered fillable water bottle station on every floor. We also had to call the front desk to get a portable fridge since I had insulin. They brought one up and plugged it in for us. I hope from here on out they will get a portable fridge for all rooms! In all, I would give The Jewel a 4.6 out of 5! We would stay here again and hope that the next room wont leak from condensation, have a fridge, and bigger pillows! The room and bathroom were very clean as well! The staff was friendly and whether the lobby was busy or not the staff would acknowledge you one way or the other!

Bed Bugs! We stayed 4x night at the Jewel hotel in New York, while the hotel is nice and the staff on duty are helpful, on the last day, we were told that our room tested positive for bed bugs. From the first night in the room, my girlfriend and I woke up with red spots on our bodies (see pictures attached). For three days, we were itching… not the best way to visit New York for the first time. On the second morning, more red spots appeared on our body so we talked to reception who straight away told us they would inspect for bed bugs. We were moved to a room two floors up but we were asked to leave our luggage containing all our clothes in the other room until a professional inspection for bed bugs could be completed. The inspection didn't take place until 7am on the morning of our departure, leaving no time to get our clothes cleaned in New York. Since we were leaving, the manager on duty at reception told us that we should pack our luggage in the infected room and get our clothes cleaned once we arrived at our destination, which we did. She gave me the details of the manager, Hugo Yanes, so I could ask for a refund for this cleaning. It has now been 2 months since I emailed twice the manager and still no refund, as promised by the staff on duty.

Super hotel, all clean and great service.

The front desk personnel are courteous and very helpful. Loved the water bottle fill stations on each floor. Room was small but had every thing we needed. Only negative was I left my phone charger there and called back but housekeeping never returned my call.

I stayed here almost two years ago and it was incredible. The views were breathtaking and the location is perfect. The hefty cost is definitely worth paying for such a great hotel room.

Crappy way over rated hotel. I'll just list the pros and cons: Pros: We had a room and the hotel had a Great location Cons: Horrible motel 6 quality rooms Rooms were not cleaned well Smelled like fried foods as you AC unit in the window is above a large exhaust vent for a Asian restaurant. No ac in the hall Very disappointed in general and felt the star ratings where way out of line!

Warm, simple and covers all the basic services. Up to you to make you a coffee in the room. 11000000 recommended.

Not the worst hotel… We're the type to go a bit cheaper on the hotel because all we use it for is sleep and showers. If you're looking for something more you'll be disappointed. It was great for our purposes. Extremely excellent location, great staff. But small. No air conditioning in halls, uncomfortable beds with only 1 pillow each and very cheap bedding. Barely any water pressure in the shower (which leaked all over the floors unless you stood next to the wall. ) Only two bath towels so I had to dry my hair with the hand towels. Blow dryer was extremely poor quality (bring yours from home if you stay). Housekeeping never vacuumed. Just overall meh. What I expected for that price in manhattan. Recommend if you're looking for somewhere reasonably priced in that location.

I had the best experience these past few days and the staff was so awesome. I will be staying here in the future when ever I return to NY. I highly recommend this place, if you are looking for the best accommodations and staff. Thankyou for the great stay.

Wow. My wife convinced me to go against my usual brand preferences and try a boutique. The Jewel is awesome. We stayed on 12th floor with amazing views of Radio City Music Hall, St. Patrick's and Manhattan. Rene Leslie and Iris were amongst the staff that were very friendly and had great tips on where to go. Highly recommend!

Have just returned home from three nights here and can't fault the place. The rooms are small but very modern and well turned out. The beds are extremely comfortable, there's plenty of outlets, a smart TV and a Keurig machine for you to enjoy. The location is superb and central, but the rooms are quiet in spite of this. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in NYC who needs a central location and a good place to rest up after a busy day.

Small rooms, but the location is great. In the middle of pretty much everything, and walking anywhere is pretty painless. Pretty close to subways stops for the longer-distance locations too.

Good location. Got a good view of St. Patrick's Cathedral from 602. Very fast Wi-Fi speeds. Can access TV ports so can use Chromecast and laptop straight to tv. Coffee machine in room great, as is coffee machine on 2nd floor. Free filtered water station on each floor saves a lot of money. Rooms are clean and maid service is regular. There was some building work next door so a little noise could be heard. Friends had room 1109. It has a balcony and a great view of St. Patrick's.

Best NYC Hotel across from NBC Studios & Rockefeller Centre. Great location, clean & modern equipped rooms. The staff was very knowledgeable and customer oriented. Gave great directions, knew how to find great kosher deli's, and museums. I highly recommend this "Jewel " of a hotel…

I spent the weekend at The Jewel with my husband for our anniversary & I have to say our stay was amazing! We couldn't have chosen a better hotel. Friendly staff and great location!

My wife and I stayed here at Christmas time in 2014. We absolutely loved the location of this hotel. The hotel and rooms were very clean and updated. We enjoyed the view from our room too. When booking trips to midtown, we always look at the Jewell first. I highly recommend this hotel.

Normal hotel, a little hidden, but the Centre, towels are changed through time, around full of eateries and restaurants average price tag in the restaurants of $ 60 per person, or $ 7 Burger sengvič zabigalavkah — 9 $ and the rest, as everywhere, generally not a freebie, it is better to live far away from the Center, there's žračka. ) ) ) )
