All in all very good. Breakfast very complete.

What a location and nothing sacrificed because of it. Handy to port authority, central park, obviously time square, 10-15 minute walk to empire state building. There is a city sightseeing bus stop right outside. One goes uptown and the other downtown. The reception can arrange taxis for airport transfer. They can hold your luggage after checkout. 2 streets down there is a 99c pizza shop. One of few hotels that offer B&B but get down early or you have to queue. Good size rooms, one small issue is the screen between shower and room. Tip: turn lights on beside the bed and then bathroom light off! Highly recommended clean, affordable and amazing location.

A hotel very new with a great location. Yes, noisy, better ask for room interior. Breakfast excellent, cleaning very good, recommended if you're going to New York. Would return without hesitation.

Room was great! Staff was super friendly! Told them it was our 2 year anniversary and they gave us a free bottle of champagne! The buffet breakfast was decent and the waits were not bad at all. Super great location if you’re planning to see shows. Right on restaurant row!

Good prices for NYC but they are small time in a big time area. It lacks a certain bit of professionalism but it makes up for it in its sleek exterior and friendly employees. It’s not union so you don’t need worry about the that’s not my job people. Everyone is there to help as they should be in hospitality. I recommend this if you enjoy mid level hotel experiences. It almost looks like a five star but you get what you pay for and it shows here and there.

My 4 friends and I booked the hotel at the last minute for a Sunday night in the city. The price was great & the room had 2 double beds and a double pull-out sofa bed so we were all able to sleep in a bed. Jose' was able to check us in quickly and let us know we would be receiving a credit due to the restaurant being closed in the hotel the next day. This wasn't really an issue for us at all anyway seeing as thought we did not plan to eat at the restaurant, but were very grateful for the compensation regardless. We were already excited about staying at the hotel based on the pictures on the website, so we had high expectations for the hotel. I mentioned to Jose and Hansel that we were hoping for a great view & that it wouldn't disappoint with the room we were assigned. They mentioned we were likely not going to be disappointed and BOY WERE THEY RIGHT! We were assigned a room on the 22nd floor overlooking the city and the river and it was absolutely amazing both at sunset when we checked in and in the morning! The room was clean and super modern and we all loved it! Our only issue, which won't deter us from staying again, was that our room was a little warm. We opened the window to let some cool air in, but it did not help. However, this was during February, so it was a bit cooler and I am not sure how this might effect the room in the warmer months. I did mention it when I checked out, but the receptionist seemed unphased by my concern.

Great experience!, we stayed x 6 days in this new beautiful hotel in central Manhattan. Great service, nice and clean room overlooking 8th Av and a very fair price. We enjoyed drinks and food at their restaurant. We have to mention (unfortunately I don't know the name) a waiter from Dominican Republic that was superb, probably the best service during our stay in NYC. Very well located (about 1 block from Times Square). We will certainly use them again if the travel back to the big apple.

Great location to access a few streets to shopping malls at any time, the rooms and facilities are modern, very well maintained and always with a high level of cleanliness. The deal received by all the hotel staff was excellent throughout our stay, and something to highlight is the breakfast service they offer, irresistible!

Been to New York 4 times now. Each time I stay at a different hotel (Millennium on Broadway, Hilton times square, Hyatt times square). However my trend will end now, as this hotel is now my favorite. The rooms are super comfortable. Also the complimentary breakfast is amazing. Perfectly located. The price is the best part!

The hotel was very nice, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we was asked to pay a $50 nightly fee deposit on top of the $13 resort fee. The deposit had to be held on a credit card which we did not have. After discussing this with reception and also stating this request was not displayed anywhere when booking the hotel or on there website we did not have to pay the deposit. The hotel staff were very understanding and we could not fault the hotel or location.

Top lage. Room a bit small. Breakfast well. Furnishing very well.

Checked in with 7 people. Whether breakfast or dinner, everything is a matter of everything. Room tip-top. Location first class. Again at any time.

Of the best hotels in Manhattan, so we are told by other travel companions staying in other hotels, we have been very lucky. The breakfast buffet was very good. The views of our room were amazing on the 11th floor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The modern rooms spacious bed for two people, well equipped bathrooms and pristine cleaning. Of 10!

I’m am currently staying at the hotel, checking out tomorrow. Location is great, room was comfortable and clean. Where my concerns are is with the staff. My room wouldn’t cool at all and got up to 78 degrees and was blowing really hot air. I was told that there wasn’t anything they could do since it was so cold outside and that I needed to turn off the unit and open the window if I wanted it cooler. I was shocked. I have never been told to open a window at a hotel! They offered me the room above mine but said I probably would have to open the window there as well. They never said they were sorry I’ve time or offered anything for the inconvenience and being uncomfortable. They just didn’t care. To add insult to injury, the beam above the bathroom door fell off and almost hit me! I’ll never stay here again. They do not care about they customers at all.

We stayed there for a week in late October. If we return to New York it will be this hotel without hesitation. Great location, very nice staff, top breakfast. Really nothing to complain about. The beds are super comfortable. And we strongly recommend the Brazilian restaurant in front of the hotel has about 50 m on the right. In short we loved everything and New York C is just magiiiiiique ❤ ️

The hospitality of the staff was amazing. Cinthia at the front desk and the bellhop Vaughn were awesome and their service was way above average. Location of the hotel was great and they had their own juice bar at the cafe! Highly recommended. Only con was the hardwood flooring in the rooms (felt less cozy).

Top hotel! We had a room on the 28th floor, small but very neat. Would recommend the hotel to anyone, especially due to the location. We have expired the first 3 days absolutely all common sights on foot. Downtown only 15min Subway line R — perfect! Food is American, but good. Coffee is diluted concentrate, but there's Coffee to Go everywhere (ggü at pret a manger for under $2). Employees also nice, reception is staffed with all common languages.
On the next holiday here again RIU. Great!

Room seems to be okay for the time we have been in it. We arrived at 9:00 am and two rooms we reserved were not ready at 3:30 pm. I understand that check in was not until 3:00 pm but this is crazy. They claim that because we wanted two rooms next to each other is why they weren't ready but I don't see why that is an issue. Anyway everything else is okay. I will revise after speaking with management tomorrow.

Excellent location and quality. Spanish chain with employee who speaks Spanish. Great facilities. Good breakfast and restaurant for lunch or dinner of very good quality. Definitely worth it.

The hotel was nice but had a very antiseptic feeling to it. It felt more like a hospital than a hotel. The bathroom is not very private because of the barn door design. The location was great though.

Very nice hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are maintained, adequate meals. This hotel is highly recommended.

Location convenient but. 1. Interior space antiseptic and cold; vinyl glue flooring throughout; one strip popping up in our room. Bed would slide since no carpeting anywhere. No space for bags except under the bed. Room small. 2. Our room faced 8th Ave: music from nearby club playing till 4 AM. Ugh! 3. Bar in main lobby cool but took last drink orders Friday night at 11:30 — huh? 4. No clock/alarm in room 5. Off site parking: $50 per night.

First time in NY and stayed here prior to a cruise. Decor was modern; room was small but clean and functional. Great full breakfast was included. In the Times Square location and walkable to restaurants and entertainment.

Hotel in perfect location! Rooms modern and clean, cleaned everyday and clean towels! Bed very comfy and buffet breakfast very nice with a good choice. Staff very helpful and Jason behind bar a good laugh and friendly! Will defo be back!

Nice room for honeymoon, although some details are poorly cared (door shampoo in the shower dangling, old hair dryer, silicone put to good…) But it's clean! Just a stone's throw from Times Square so you feel a bit of the city casino…

Super friendly staff, most of them speak Spanish, the rooms are spacious considering other hotels in NYC, very comfortable beds and pillows, there is a mini fridge in the room. The gym is very well equipped and the location is a couple of blocks from Times Square and the theatre district. Lots of restaurants and bars around.

Stayed at the Riu Plaza for a week. Nice hotel on W 46th St. A few minutes from Times Square and in a nice street with a large variety of bars and restaurants. Rooms are very nice… free breakfast for our stay. Staff were very helpful. Bell boys a great crowd. Very central for theaters and subway.

Newly refurbished Hotel, spacious rooms, cozy bathroom with shower tray for two. Details of the room well cared for! From the highest floors the! Panorama is breathtaking! Excellent breakfast and cleanliness of the rooms and common areas is impeccable.

Great location is the only pro. The maids woke us up at 9:00 am. They didn't supply us with more toilette paper and kleenex until we called and asked for some. The rooms were small size. And they didn't keep their promise of a water bottle which was included in the outrageous resort fee. Valet parking was available if you called half an hour in advance to pick up your car. It took them 1 hour and 10 minutes to receive our car.

Service was great from the moment we entered down to the very last second we left. Great service, spacious rooms, fantastic location, and an overall pleasant experience! Will definitely stay here again!

Well. If you like being seen on the toilet by somebody in your room or like being seen taking a shower this is the place for you. I would not recommend at all. For being recently made when I had gone (approx 6 months) the floor times were cracked there was a huge gap between door and wall concealing the bathroom (the toilet being in the direct view through the crack) the rooms were tiny and are really only designed for 1 person. It is basically a knock off of citizen M Which has got this concept to a tee Riu however have not. I would not recommend at all.

Great hotel. I have been on july with my wife on our honey moon, and it was fantastic. Great atention from the hotel staff. It takes 5 minutes from the hotel to Times Square. Recommended to visit New York!

My wife and I were there to celebrate our 40th. We loved our room and our view on the 30th floor. The people in the rooms beside as were quiet and aside from the occasional siren we couldn't really hear anything street level. First thing we noticed was how clean the room was. We are already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to New York.

From the moment we checked in til the moment we checked out the service and staff were AMAZING! They allowed us to check in early around 11am and prior to that they let us leave our luggage so we could go explore the city. Everyone was friendly and helpful with tips on what to do in the city and where to eat. The hotel was spotless, cant think of anything we didnt like. We have no noise complaints from the outside street noise. The breakfast restaurant is great, it has alot of variety and is fresh and hot. Beds were comfortable and shower/bathroom was spacious. Everyone working there made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in an excellent location, clean, spacious, lovely staff, good food. The only unexpected mishap was that on 2/5 of our stay we had no hot water. They didn't offer to change our room, but had to wash next room. They sent an engineer but fixed nothing twice. Wasn't expected of a 4star hotel!

Fantastic location in theater district. Hamilton was essentially nextdoor. New spacious modern rooms. Included a breakfast which was very convenient (open till 11 am) and more than adequate. Plan to stay here again.

Damn good experience. Staff friendly and helpful. AC went out and the maintenance crew with 2 guys was there pronto. Took about an hour to fix but slept well through the night thanks to them. Food excellent and the location you can't beat. Planning on making this my place of choice to stay while NYC from now on.

I loved this place because there are Couches to rest at and to sit down and wait maybe for your taxi pickup. Also I loved this place because the staff is friendly. It is a great place to stay in because if you look at the 35 floor, the view is awesome.

We planned our visit here for a bachelorette party. We paid over $500 for a one night stay in a deluxe family room. We even paid an additional fee for more people staying in the room because we wanted it to be comfortable for everyone. When we arrived to our "deluxe family room" the two double beds were pushed together making one large bed and the sofa bed could not even be pulled out because of the refrigerator and desk were in the way. When we went down to talk to someone we were told, "There is nothing we can do. We can separate the beds for you. " Mind you, if they separated the beds we would have had absolutely no where to walk. Overall, very disappointed with the room and lack of customer service. I've traveled a lot and NEVER have I been to a hotel were they push two doubles together and call comfortable. I found it very unprofessional and unacceptable for them to advertise one thing and provide something else.

The hotel is nice, good location and very nice view on the high floors. Breakfast is basntante complete.
I did not like the bathroom, in 2 rooms at least, the door is glass with transparencies and gives no visual or acoustic insulation, I did not find it pleasant.
I was also charged a fee of about 10uss per day, using Internet, Gym, etcetc, of which they had not warned.

The location is magnificent. Good facilities and friendly staff. The only one but it was that we touched a room on the first floors without a view.

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. I was not a guest at the hotel but dropped off a gift and welcome package to my newleywed friends. The hotel staff provided me with a cart, allowing me stage how I wanted the gifts to be arranged in their room, and were very patient with me. They willingly found the best room available (at their room rate) on the highest floor. Thank you to the staff at Riu NYC for making my friends mini-moon extra special.

We were floor 14 and there was no street noise. Right and very well located. Surrounded by bars and restaurants for dinner and breakfast if you don't want to have breakfast at the hotel. The cafeteria or bar is nice and cozy. Some nod to Spanish dishes (ham and cheese) without too much success.
Full of Spaniards even at reception. Ideal if you have problems with the language.
Very new and clean. Ojo, the bathroom is integrated into the room. If you travel with family or partner, it may not be inconvenient, if you travel otherwise, keep that in mind.

Great hotel for a great price. We arrived earlier than expected and hadn't asked for early check in. They didn't have a room ready at the time but held our bags and emailed us when one was ready for us. The room is cozy, not in the "this is just way too small" they're legitimately comfortable to be in. Since it's a new hotel the furnishings are all new and great quality. I especially love the rainfall shower and separate detachable nozzle. My one complaint would be the bed sheets are a bit rough but not overly so.

Clean rooms with good modern design, but little room. No coffee or device for tea. Take the floor as high as possible to make the view better, panoramic windows. Good Wi-Fi, free Wi-Fi.

This weekend I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel… and you will not get a better deal for your money Every employee I dealt with was attentive and pleasant The hotel was clean and very modern… as was our room — the only con of the room, itself, was that it was on the small size The location of this hotel was ideal for spending the day in Times Square it was in easy walking distance to all of the Times Square attractions the only con that I can say is that there are no vending machines on the floors… if you need ice you have to go to the restaurant to get ice… not really a problem since the staff are very accommodating This is a great hotel for you money! Would definitely stay here again.

Since the hallway has been deleted (is) everywhere by color. Hair dryer didn't work — but it has not been repaired even to ask. Toilet / bathroom is made of frosted glass and has a sliding door. Not everyone likes to perform quasi-open, in the room of his business and watch (Silhouette). Small amenities such as coffee or tea in the room. An Ironing Board and iron (which didn't work, but was not needed). The fridge worked, at least. The location of the hotel is great, though.

The hotel has an interesting retro yet modern look to it. When I arrived, it was crowded and it took a while to check in. However, we were told our room wasn't ready and they upgraded us to 2 King rooms on the same room instead of waiting longer. The location is convenient as it's located in Times Square. Rooms were beautiful and had enough space. We heard little to no traffic noise.

New hotel. Some Negative reviews, how bad could it be? They're probably getting up and running, I'll give it a shot I'm not picky. I read about problems with the elevators, surely they would have been resolved? Right? Until we were trying to get downstairs from the 22nd. Waiting for the elevator, when suddenly the button stops glowing and alarms ring. We took another elevator down and luckily didn't get stuck. While waiting on colleagues to join, I had the bemusement of watching the front desk staff seemingly oblivious to what the ringing was about. No out of service sign was posted so more guests attempted to use the elevator that was still stuck with occupants. 10 minutes later facilities showed up and attempted to trouble shoot by repeatedly pressing the the call buttons. Hilarity. Alarms are ringing at an increased rate. The decor is modern and half decent in the lobby. The room itself is extremely small, but has a nice closet. A pretty nice TV hands on an otherwise featureless wall. The bathroom door is sliding glass for a piss poor attempt at an ultra modern look. It leaves large gaps and doesn't seal properly. Poor attempts at Modern sheek finishes on an extreme budget. One night stand to two beds. One small bottle of water for all 4 guests in the room. One pillow per bed, in a room sold for 4 occupants. What do they expect, for guests to share pillows? Fortunately the front desk was able to send up more pillows.

Perfect location! To be relatively new with few months, the walls of the hallways were dirty and scratched. We had problems with the air of the room, going cold. We ask for a blanket even. We were on the 8th floor facing 8th avenue and a lot of noise at night, besides the sirens. The last day in the morning that we had to make the chek out at 12 before going to the airport, the maid nearly pull the door down to gain entry. It was very annoying. The room justita size, little larger than the bed. For the location of the hotel would go back, but asking for a room on floors higher, and perhaps to the other side of the street.

Prime location one block from times square. Clean Hotel with pleasant employees. Improve the soundproofing of the rooms. When you leave the hotel is paid for the services (facilities), a few extra$ 10 per day.

The Top Hotel. Everything up to date since re-opening in April 2016. Room with two King Size beds for two Adults. And two young people completely enough.

Location of 10. Modern Hotel and excellent treatment.

Upon checking into the hotel I left specific instructions to provide a room key for my spouse and the hotel clerk acknowledged my request and asked for me tonwrite down rhe name so that an extra key could be given to them. Upon her arrival which was after the 3rd shift had started, she was denied access to the room and made to feel like she was a criminal and that the hotel did not approve of such requests. Also, the previous hotel clerk did not add her name to the account so there was nothing that he could do. I was working, (the reason for my request), and I had to leave work early in order to gain access. Also the design of the shower in the bathroom was not very practical. It was a stand up shower which was okay, however there wasn't a lip or barrier between the shower stall and the bathroonm floor to prevent water from running out into the bathroom and eventually into the hallway to the entry door!. Nobmatter how you positioned the showers heads, the water ran straight from the shower stall onto the floor. Would have been a better design if the slanted the floor to the stall to the shower drain to prevent the water leakage.

Fantastic location for any visitor to NY! The amenities and ambience are great and well maintained, especially for the price point. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Bring recently launched, the hotel seems to have some teething problems with its processes and setup. Checking took quite a while, but the staff (Nyima was her name I guess) were very polite and understanding. Some simple amenities like drinking water, were not easily available. The rooms also had some basic shortcomings like, the lack of an exhaust fan in the washroom, shower door leaking out water etc. Despite these, overall, I still had a very pleasant stay at the hotel.

Worst ever! A/C does not work. The room service is poor! They did not replace things in time. You have to call. Do not ask for valet service. I just asked for a cab on 8:00AM Wes, and he told me it is hard to get one. He was trying to sell black car. 6 miles took me $60. The luggage guy is nice. He reminded me that the price might be high. 2-star hotel.

The hotel location is fantastic. The staff is friendly. The room is small, but nothing out of the ordinary for the Theater District in Manhattan. They have just opened, so there are still some things that they need to work out. One of those is the cable situation, which is very spotty. Some channels work and others don't. The staff member's explanation was that the satellite dish was being interfered by the weather (even though it's a perfectly clear night sky…). Oh well. Would stay here again though, but probably after they figure out the minor details over the next month!

This hotel is FAR from its self-proclaimed and purchased 4-star rating. Stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights, but not once did the A/C or heater work. The front desk told me every time that "an engineer is working on it" but I highly doubt that ANYONE was looking into the matter. I even check the morning that I was leaving the hotel to see if front desk would say anything different and as expected, I received the same lie. On day 2, it was actually 84F in the room so after complaining to the front desk and manager, they put us into another room 3 floors above but with same problem — no A/C or heater. The least they could have done for our inconvenience of repacking and moving was to give us a bigger room. Also, as a self-proclaimed 4-star hotel, it's usually expected that you have glassware in the room rather than paper cups. However, I was fine with that thinking I can easily call guest services to bring up two glasses. I was ACTUALLY told that "you can come to lobby to get more cups" and "sorry, we don't deliver items to rooms. " In addition, valet guy outside tries to sell you on taking the hotel flat fee SUV rather than hailing a cab. To go 4 blocks, they actually tried to charge my girlfriend $25, and even after I put my girlfriend into a cab myself, the valet guy still tried to encourage me to use their flat-fee SUV. Thus, this has easily been worst NYC hotel experience and HIGHLY DISCOURAGE anyone from going to this hotel.

The customer service by the staff was excellent I'll admit but the stay wasn't as pleasant. The front desk wasn't very knowledgeable on policies. They gave me very insufficient information during the course of my stay. The room described to me and position was not to my liking due to it not accommodating a guest. My internet couldn't log on on for the first night so I was unable to get started on work. I was told the gym would be open at a certain time to wake up early and find out it was closed all together. Then the most frustrating was to go out for food due to it not having a kitchen or open food bar. Granted it was newly opened but the least they could do was have the heat working with NYC's teen chill wind factors. P. S my friends got stuck on an elevator for sometime after it dropped on a way to a meeting. I hope these things get worked out.

A only a few days ago opened Hotel. It's all so brand new. During the opening phase of the cost of the room only to you half. Super nice rooms and Badamaturen from Germany.
