Outstanding hotel and staff. Thank you for a quiet, pleasant stay with great amenities and staff— Jose went out of the way to flag down my Uber that was sent to wrong location by my fat thumb 😝

We are from Canada and were planning our daughter's wedding at the hotel on September 5. We paid a substantial deposit and have been unsuccessful obtaining a refund despite having a signed contract with an impossibility clause. Now they have stopped replying to my requests. We are unable to plan another wedding until we receive this refund. It is very disheartening as we thought we were dealing with a top rated hotel. All of the other venues in New York refunded us without question months ago. We have been patient and are of course very sympathetic to the hotels situation, but we are all living in the Covid19 world too.

Great boutique hotel with decent rates for a weekend in NYC.

Spent a wonderful week in this hotel. My outstanding memory is the staff. They literally could not do enough for you, so friendly, warm and welcoming. Fantastic location, lovely rooms and really enjoyed the evening wine reception and the continental breakfast. Will be my hotel of choice in New York in future.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and great location! We stayed in a balcony king suite with a perfect city view & private lounge. We especially enjoyed wine & cheese in an evening, served by a lovely lady (who’s name I can’t remember) apologies. I would highly recommend this establishment! Thanks for making our trip so memorable.

Just come back from NYC and Giraffe was our hotel for the second time. Great location, great room, great breakfast, great Wine & Cheese, great team and a big thank you to Gabriella to make our stay so good! We hope yo be back soon.

Fantastic stay gorgeous room with French balcony overlooking Park Avenue real close to everything shops, sites & sounds. Staff are all very friendly. Awesome continental breakfast. All day coffee dispenser with cookies and at 6pm cheeses& wine till 8pm not bad at all. Will come again and recommend to our UK friends.

What a fabulous hotel! Four girls staying in a spacious room, amazing hospitality and such friendly staff — Gabriela couldn’t have made us feel more welcome at the complementary wine and cheese. I will be recommending this hotel to anyone who says they’re thinking of visiting New York!

We had a fantastic time at The giraffe. From the 3 hour wine and snacks to the fabulous continental breakfast, this hotel is a gem! Very friendly staff who work hard to meet your every need. We will be back for sure!

Our favorite NYC hotel! It's always a treat to stay at The Giraffe! We just came from a another great weekend stay. The rooms are beautiful, and a good size for a NYC hotel. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour are generous and delicious. Best of all is the staff — so helpful and welcoming. All around great spot!

Hotel Giraffe is a quirky boutique hotel very well located at the corner of Park Avenue and Twenty Six Street. In the foyer, it has a small bar and café where breakfast is served, and in the evening, there is a happy hour for guests with wine, beer and a variety of snacks provided at no charge. This touch is a very nice feature of the Hotel Giraffe. It also has an excellent rooftop bar, which is buzzy and well patronised. Or at least it was when I was there, although the temperature in New York was up close to 40 degrees Celsius. The rooms are not large but very comfortable, many with Juliet balconies and well-appointed bathrooms. Breakfast is a buffet, with sufficient choice but surprisingly for New York, good coffee. My wife had previously stayed in this hotel, so of course, I immediately accepted her recommendation without reservation or probably choice. I was not disappointed, and I recommend this hotel for its quirkiness, its facilities, its generous happy hour, its location and its helpful staff.

Great for a family of four with the fold out sofa. Fabulous staff, Jose on the door and a young lady at breakfast who’s name I missed were standouts. Breakfast was great, small selection but done well, much better than the big hotel buffets. Location was tip top, playground at Madison Sq. Park was a hit with the kids and subway and other requirements nearby. Didn’t want to leave, thoroughly recommend.

Great room, clean, spacious, best location, staff etc… cant say enough. I used to live in the neighborhood and I've stayed at many hotels in the area. This one is on top of my list. Can't wait to come back.

It is cozy and staff in lobby communicate with staying customer verly politely. One of front clerk introduced us very good deli. Housekeeping　is very much proactive. I could enjoy this hotel. thank you.

We can't say enough positive things about this hotel! Kind, helpful, accommodating staff. Jose, the doorman was a wealth of knowledge on NYC and he was a welcoming presence each time we entered! Very clean, comfortable, well appointed rooms. My husband does his research when planning a trip and I am so thankful he found such a gem of a place to stay for my Birthday! Lovely! Romantic! Fun! Next time we visit NY, we already know where we will be staying! Hotel Giraffe will be our go to place!

Located great. Had valet parking. Nice breakfast and happy hour. Restaurant nextdoor was nice. Friendly staff. Hostesses at breakfast seemed a little too eager to help with tasks I usually complete myself. Located close to times square. Clean rooms.

Comfortable beds, attentive staff, and nice complimentary breakfast (bagels, pastries, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs) and evening appetizers (cheese/crackers/wine). Tea, coffee, and dessert (cookies/pastries) were available at all hours.

One of the BEST hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff are without hesitation the most polite and helpful people you will encounter during your visit. The facilities are exceptionally clean and our room was warm and comfortable… what an awesome bed! This is without a doubt a 5 star hotel.

Amazing hotel. Just departed after a 4 night stay. The hotel is in an excellent location — walking distance to all the main attractions and near to 23rd street for a quick journey to Times Square et al. The staff are all brilliant but I’d especially mention Gabriella who was beyond accommodating. Complimentary breakfast each day, coffee and biscuits available 24 hours and the immensely enjoyable free wine and cheese every evening between 5 and 8. The rooms are beautiful and the TV has a multitude of channels and on demand services. First stay in NYC and I couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Will be returning for sure. Thank you Giraffe.

Smart, clean, friendly, very big rooms at reasonable price for NYC. Cheese and wine every evening and breakfast included plus tea coffee and biscuits available in lobby 24 hours. Where else would you for be that in NYC included in the room price. I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else when I am in the big Apple.

I'm hesitant to give a great review because it encourages others to now use a venue that they overlooked before, and as we all know, when demand is high, it's harder for patrons to get a reservation. Everything about Hotel Giraffe is GREAT! You can trust that what they say they'll do will be! Perfect coffee all day long, if you want it. Breakfast Included, and snacks all day long,, AND wine and cheese every afternoon. Who can ask for more?
Oh, yeah, our room. The room was spacious, actually more like a mini suite with a bedroom, one bath, bar with fridge, and separate sitting room. Flat screens in both rooms, and entertainment system in the living room.
Service and front desk were impeccable, and very accommodating.
Very pleased, and will return again soon!

This is an awesome boutique style hotel with lovely modern accommodations and comfortable bedding. The morning continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were very good quality. The staff was of the highest in friendliness and attentive service.

Amazing hotel! Loved the spacious rooms, location, friendly staff and amenities. They really make you feel welcome. It is the best value for your money I could find in NY — they include a breakfast and wine and cheese happy hour each night! Lots of storage in the rooms which is perfect as we stayed with our two kids. Would highly recommend!

We feel extremely accommodated here! Lovely restaurant and beautiful aesthetic to the hotel. Staff is extremely kind and willing. Location is very convenient for touring the city and is in a safe area. Continental breakfast was delicious!

Great hotel… The staff is so friendly and accomodating. Room was perfect. We enjoyed the rooftop for some sun and also happy with the complimentary breakfast and wine & cheese hour. They made parking easy as well! Great location… nothing bad to say.

Only stayed here one night so far, and it's been a great stay. The room is very comfortable, clean, and well stocked with towels! The staff has been very accommodating with a turn down service, ice, and helping me find my way to new places in the city. The cheese and wine happy hour is a great addition to the experience here! I also like how the wall outlets are accessible for my chargers.

What an amazing place to have a party! Hired the penthouse — which comes with an indoor space and two outside decks. Also an apartment sized room down the hall for the night. The Giraffe staff were amazing, especially Emily, who handled all the details. And the lobby staff are top notch, too. I highly recommend Hotel Giraffe as a place to stay and as a great party venue in Manhattan.

They really care about the guests and offer many amenities that other hotels would charge extra for. They went above and beyond in taking care of us.

I love this place. Great staff & location. Rooms are lovely. I especially appreciate the wine and cheese happy hour. The continental breakfast allowed us to hit the ground running. My only wee complaint is the coffee. I recommend espresso from nearby Gregory's coffee.

This is the first time I went to New York, even in such a big city far from my house, the hotel staff made me feel at home, always take care of me in a friendly way. Breakfast was excellent, wine and cheese. There is no doubt that this hotel is worth recommending, I would be happy to stay here again in the next trip. Thank you very much non-Hotel Gera, make friends and I have lived here with feeling!

Excellent hotel that is further solidified as a 5-star experience by its location and profoundly helpful staff. My stay here had me in the grips of a cold and I had salt and hot water hand-delivered to my door in a show of obscenely remarkable customer service.

Very nice rooms — clean and very well appointed. The staff were marvelous — friendly, attentive, and really helpful. The mid-town / nomad location is a little out of the way, but the hotel is a block from the Lexington subway line, and getting around is not a problem. The complimentary continental breakfast in the morning was a nice start to the day, and the wine and cheese in the evenings was a terrific way to unwind before heading out to dinner or a show. Along with the complimentary breakfast and wine and cheese, on-property Wi-Fi was included — I really appreciated not getting "nickel and dimed" for those amenities.

A Very stylist hotel that has become one of our favorite hotels in nyc. We have stayed many times — — — — always greeted with excellent service. Great service and location and fair pricing for nyc. Not cheap but it's very comfortable and close to everything we need.

Great hotel for a younger crowd that wants to be near easy transit and events but not have to sacrifice hotel quality. There's a relaxed wine bar in the hotel lobby that is for guests only where you can watch the busy Union Square traffic pass by. The front desk is very helpful and informative and are quick to seek details from coworkers if they don't know the answer themselves. There's a rooftop bar as well with an outdoor rose garden that can be rented out for events.
