Very good quality rooms, simple, effective, nice. Some staff need better local knowledge. But generally a really enjoyable experience.

Clean, accommodating, nice staff, cute rooms. My only down side doors are not kid proof, door latch needed on top of door… my 2 year old kept on opening the room door with no issues.

Beautiful spacious rooms, stylish lobby/sitting area, great location. My only issue is the staff could be a tad bit more customer friendly and on the same page with policies. On check in I was able to pay with cash, but when I extended my stay an additional day I'm told the hotel does not accept cash… When I paid cash 3 days prior.

The hotel appears to be nice and clean however my biggest concern as well as my gripe is the noisy bathroom. Opening and closing of the large glass doors to go into the restroom which is in the bedroom therefore awakening people who may be sleep in the near room. By the way The bagels were hard this morning and the coffee was not piping hot. I don't understand why someone would put glass sliding doors with metal coasters in a room that is adjoining the bedroom? when sliding it makes a lot of noise. Placing glass doors in the bathroom that separates the shower door which is a heavy door? When it closes it makes a vacuum suction noise followed by a heavy close. I really think they need to change this so someone can get a good night sleep. If you are the only one in that room then that's fine but most people don't travel by them self.

The Brooklyn is a gem. I've stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels in Manhattan and The Brooklyn met all my expectations. Quiet suite, friendly professional front desk staff, lovely bedding and sitting/reading areas, free Wi-Fi and excellent housekeeping. I'll be back. Noise was not a concern for me on third floor suite.

Very nice Boutique Style Hotel in Brooklyn. The staff was very pleasant and the rooms were very nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was there was no Bar. I If you're visiting New York City and want to stay in the Brooklyn area, I highly recommend this hotel.

My experience there. Was wonderful. The employees were so helpful and getting everything you needed. They take care of you like you're part of the family. The hotel room itself is beautiful well maintained and extremely clean. I would recommend this hotel in the highest priority.

Honestly. I liked it. I got what I payed for. The room was Neat and Tidy. The beds are a Godsend. The bathroom is designed nicely too. Everything was clena. Stayed one night with no problems with the hotel it self. The breakfast also had a vast variety to choose from all healthy and the workers are friendly. As I mentioned previously the Hotel itself? Loved it. The Location? Well. It has its pros and cos. Pro :Good walking distance from the train. Since its in an inhabited area its not hard to find a place for a quick bite to eat or a place to buy clothes. Con: its in an inhabited area that's not the best. Its also right across the bridge. The scenery is honestly just awful but when youre In The Hotel you Totally forget all about that.

Nice, modern amenities and decor and a friendly and accommodating staff. Front of the hotel faces the subway track for fellow light sleepers an parking is very challenging. I'd stay again, but I know what to expect.

Central location in Brooklyn. Multiple options for getting into the city. Just off the LIRR; very convenient if you are arriving from JFK. Large rooms with double paned, insulated windows. Very comfortable bedding. Continental breakfast and in room Nespresso.

An oasis of tranquillity & Elegance, I believe this is one of the nicest hotels I've seen and a great value!

Horrible hotel. Stains on furniture shower broken, duck tape holding stuff on walls. Hell my friend got the "presidential suite" and couldn't even get a bottle of wine or even a cold beer. Placed appeared empty but bell guy stated 33 out of 34 rooms were booked. Yeah alright… hey but don't worry if you like the homeless shelter view then this is the place for you. How they got 5 star reviews well, if your a smart person I'm sure you can figure it out. My advice… If you dont take my word for it, before booking here, have one of yo ur friends swing by and take a look but make sure it's a friend you dont like too much, the neighborhood is a bit sketchy.

I had a peaceful stay. The hotel and the room was beautiful. Not one thing do I have to complain about.

Very nice boutique hotel with great access to the subway. All staff members were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. Rooms were clean, housekeeping was quick, and the complementary Wi-Fi was very fast. With daily breakfast served at 7:30, you can still find other places nearby if you are an early riser.

Very nice hotel, just a little bit of noise is heard in the night from the back street.

I've been to New York many times and this has to be the best and most memorable trip. It started out rough because of a horrible flight and my luggage never made it with me. After filing my claim and accepted that it was out of my hands, I left to enjoy what was left of my trip. I arrived at The Brooklyn and was greeted by Devon. Not only did he listen to me vent about my day but he assured me that he would be there to help and HE DID! He made sure that when my luggage arrived, I would get it! The staff was incredibly accommodating and so helpful with my many many questions. Customer service overall was amazing! The room was so adorable. I loved the murals on the walls of historic locations in NYC. I love the vanity and all the light in the restroom and the rainfall shower head. This hotel was not only comfy and perfect but the price was on point. I have been recommending this hotel to friends and family and will continue to praise Devon on his amazing customer service and how he became my hero!

Long story short, this was a last minute booking due to a family emergency. Never heard of this hotel before was a bit skeptical and came with the intention that I was NOT going to like the location or room. Greeted by the night manager Rolanda, my wife and I felt at ease. We were pleasantly surprised by the look and feel, Rolanda made check in very easy, our keys were ready for us and check-in was taken care of prior to our arrival. Although our stay was short our long days were forgotten as soon as we entered those double doors completely felt like an escape, comfortable rooms and very pleasant staff. Rolanda made us feel very welcome and her peronality matched the feel of this hotel. This was definitley a beautiful GEM in the "cut"! My wife and I will definitley return under better circumstances to stay here again! Thank you Rolanda for a very nice stay during a tough situation!

While it is a pretty hotel and the staff are friendly we were disappointed that there was no food, no breakfast, no dining, no bar… nothing. And the room was cold. So we didn't stay. Still it cost us over $750 as we had reserved for 4 nights. No refund. I recommend you make sure there is a dining room and room service with the promised free breakfast before booking. Don't book online. Call first.

Decent accommodations for the area. The room was on the small side but it used the space very efficiently. In an okay neighborhood, but I didn't spend too much time investigating nearby.

Extremely nice trust me! The design of this place is just marvelous, it's very cozy. Very clean and modern, huge rooms, BEAUTIFUL BATHROOM, the hallway is really nice also, I love how the room numbers light up in the hallway. There's a microwave in your room! I didn't want to leave. You won't regret staying here.

Very pleasant stuff, place is nice an cozy, great experience. Only downside is that there was no breakfast at all, not inclusive not exclusive despite having a dinning room, rest was great. Checked in very late, stuff bumped me up with a suite free of charge. Pleasant gesture, rooms are spacious, nice and clean.

Our stay was amazing. I've traveled a lot of places and never seen a nicer and cleaner hotel. Our room was amazing. Totally recommend this place!

Booked a one night stay with 2 queen beds as 4 of us staying in the room only to check in and be told "we gave your room to somebody else who checked in earlier because he didn't like the location of his room, now you have a room with a single queen bed. " No cots or anything available, they were sold out on the night so basically just out of luck… had to sleep on a hard ground with them providing sheets and a blanket. They did what they could to make it right (refund) but pretty ridiculous that 1: they don't know how to hold a reservation and 2: they gave somebody staying by themselves a room with 2 queen beds because he complained about the location of his room, which just pushes the problem off til later where somebody ends up getting screwed. All this aside it is in a pretty rough neighborhood right next to the train which you will definitely be aware of on the first couple floors. Free breakfast consisted of yogurt, cereal, bagels, and fruit which was nice. Room was nice enough just missing a bed, for the nightly rate they charge you don't expect issues like this.

Very stylish and clean! The rooms feel new and updated, and it has nice feel to it. Very comfortable bed, sofa, and good lights for you to do your work, if desired. Free breakfast provided included coffee, tea, milk, yogurt, orange juice, bagels (w/ a toaster in sight), lox, cream cheese and jam. I enjoyed it a lot. The neighborhood is not the nicest so be aware. It did not feel unsafe to me, but it may not be the case for you. The parking lot that you are recommended to use is very affordable ($10/day) considering the location. It is just a block down the road. I'd recommend it if you know how some parts of Brooklyn can look & feel unsafe. Great hotel at a good price.

The hotel is great, The only negative thing is that the area is not the best, But there are many signs of it becoming a nice area. Many good places to eat in an easy walk. The hotel has a very consistent modern decor, very sizable comfortable rooms, and very nice staff. If I am in new York again, I will definitely choose the same hotel.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Letting us check in early. The room itself was decently sized, nicely furnished and modern. Also, it was quieter than we expected, being that there was a major Street/train tracks next to our window. Overall we had no complaints.

Melinda and her team are driven with a core objective to assure your experience is seamless. The entire building is esthetically appealing with a trendy loft feeling. Professional staff and a well hidden Brooklyn diamond.

Not in the best area, but walking a block or two in the right direction will get you to decent food. There's USB charging outlets next to the bed — something most hotels don't have. The room in general was nice.

This place is the exact meaning of the phrase "finding a diamond in the rough". Looking at the area or the outside of this place you'd have no idea how incredible this place inside. I've stayed in all different types of hotels from horrible to amazing and everything in-between. My girlfriend and I stayed here last night and I have to say that is was a unexpectedly incredible. The room was very nice and up scale. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on and I actually plan on contacting them to find out the make and model of that mattress and pillow top. The soaps and products in the bathroom were nothing but high end products which I was really surprised about. Now for the free breakfast in the morning, it was such a simplistic approach to breakfast but don't let that fool you in to thinking it was nothing short of incredible. I'm a guy who lives to eat, and the healthy spread that they had there was soooooooo delicious. Everything was organic, fresh, and made from scratch. Even the yogurt cups with granola blew my mind. I didn't know there was a difference in yogurts, but try fresh homemade yogurt from this place and you'll be in awe too. The staff was very curious and nice. We had a small hiccup with our room while we were there but the staff took care of it and left us a little card and snack pack in our room when we came back from dinner as a way to apologize. In my book no one is perfect, but the effort to make it right is what counts.
