Location! location! location! All of the things we want to do is an easy 10 to 20 minute drive!

Great getaway for me and my boyfriend.

Horrible experience. I booked a non-smoking room through their website back in May. When I arrived on June 8/19 around 18:00, I was told that I had booked a smoking room. I showed them my reservation and was told that they cannot guarantee a non-smoking room since I booked it on “a third party website. ” I told them that I booked it on the best western website and again they said the same thing. Staff stated that they only guarantee a non-smoking room if I had called the hotel directly to book it. Then I was told there were no non-smoking rooms. Staff did not provide me with any other options, not even the courtesy of naming other hotels in the area that I could call. I called the Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn and they were fully booked, so I had to take the smoking room, as I had 3 kids under 6 with me. At 21:00 my brother-in-law and his family arrived and had a reservation and got told the same thing. Yet, the staff called the Hampton Inn on their behalf and was able to secure them two rooms! Beware when booking their hotel through their own website. Before we checked out today June 10th, we wanted to speak to the manager but they didn’t start until 10am. We were told that the manager would call us this evening at 7pm to discuss what had occurred. It is 23:00 and no call. I will be following up with them regarding this. We go to this area a few times a year and will not be returning.

They also like to charge things on your account without them telling you.

An excellent service all very well.

Pretty solid overall. Rode in on my motorcycle later in the day and the receptionist was super friendly, letting me park my bike under the front awning in view of the front desk for security and coverage (quite nice, since it was pouring rain! ). I got a king room with a fireplace (sadly not operational due to the season) and the bed was comfy. The only knock — — and this isn't at all the fault of the hotel — — is that the nearby food options are pretty slim. The Burger King nearby is dire and I recommend it only in emergencies.

Whenever I do a random trip down here this place always has a room for me. Either when I check in at 4am or 1pm. The staff is very good set of people. They aim to please. I will definitely stay here again. An oh did I mention they have a pool to that does the job! Thank you guys!

Location is great and staff are very friendly. Although on our first day our room was not met to our expectation. The bathroom had stained towels, the mini fridge had leftover milk in the bottom tray, and the shower was clogged. We had to replace our towels and clean out the tray ourselves along with unclog the shower. After that the rest of our stay was completely fine. If you want a lot of things to do and an inexpensive and friendly place to stay, this is good for you. But if you want to pay a little more and get cleaner rooms elsewhere, I recommend you do.

We were only staying one night in the Poconos for a family reunion and this hotel was nearby. We decided to take the room with the jetted tub. To our surprise it was a heart shaped tub, very cute. The room had a gas fireplace as well. It was a very large comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent with many choices including scrambled eggs and sausage and make your own waffles. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Best Western Plus.

I looked at several area hotels online before I selected this one in Tannersville, and I was very satisfied. The location was ideal (right next to the outlet store! ) and the amenities were ideal. Hot breakfast was included, and the pool and fitness room were very nice. Staff was very courteous and pleasant and the room was great — including the bathroom (good water pressure in the shower). I recommend this hotel and will return.

Had a real good experience. The girls at the front deck, Susanna and Christine, were very nice to us and they took good care of us. We were on the road 7 hours and extremely tired. I think that the girls sensed that and they got us to a room very quickly. I give them 5 stars. They went out of their way to take care of us.

Good hotel, nice and clean. Decent breakfast. Interesting layout that provides same level parking for first and second floor guests. Very helpful staff. My bags were delayed and they were very accommodating. Convenient location near the outlets where I was working.

Nice room great breakfast pool no complaints.

I was really shocked that the TV at breakfast was turned to Fox News and the breakfast attendant wouldn't change it at my request because her boss said it must stay on Fox News! It's one thing to choose such a partisan news channel, and then another not to change it to something else for even 30 minutes upon customer request. I'll avoid Best Western in the future.

Best Western is a convenient location to many attractions. I enjoyed the courteous staff, excellent breakfast, jacuzzi tub and indoor pool. The breakfast alone was 5 star! I would like to highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Camel Back Beach as well. God bless you Best Western. Your the BEST!

Hotel very nice. But showers need at least one grab bar. I almost slipped in shower nothing to grab to prevent nasty fall. First hotel I ever stayed with no grab bar in shower. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

Quick check in and out. Housekeeping was also great. Pool was nice. Free breakfast 7a. M. To 10a. M. Also really good. Looking for a place to stay give them a try.

My stay at this location was very uncomfortable. The first thing they tell you. This is a nonsmoking establishment. My room 311 king suite. Had a terrible nicotine smell that went down your throat. The Staff only spray this chemical scent for less than five minutes. I had to go and run to the supermarket and get some deodorizer to alleviate. Second the pullout sofa bed the sheets were not replace. The pool was dirty full of hair in the water. I will never stay at this establishment.

Staff are great and friendly, but rooms need some TLC and updating. The pool is a cool feature though, very welcome in cooler weather. It's also fairly quiet since it's off the main road, BUT the other hotel guests can be a bit… unruly and loud, but that's out of the hotels purview obviously. Would be a 4 star if the rooms weren't so 1970s.

We are a young family and we enjoyed our stay. Very nice staff, rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, the waffles were tasteful and filling. Check in was easy, we would recommend this hotel as an alternative to the nearby resorts. I give 5 stars because it is everything we expected.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The location of the hotel is near what we were in the area to do. Breakfast comes with your stay and it was really good. I would recommend this hotel to others traveling in the region.

Very neat and clean. Really nice pool. They have menus for delivery and the deliveries can go right to your room. Amicis pizza and pasta is the best delivery. They make sure that you have enough plates and cups and utensils.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We loved our room, especially the fireplace, which is a real fireplace that one of the staff members comes and sets up for you. Also loved the Jacuzzi, soaker tub. Overall, it was a romantic, wonderful stay.

Pretty average in terms of hotels. Not the worst, but some things to note. When I first checked in, my fiance and I were napping, and they tried to open the door to come in. They somehow forgot that they rented out the room. Good thing I had it padlocked. They also gave us two lotions instead of conditioner on multiple occasions. Not a big deal, but indicates to me a lack of attention to detail.

I love this hotel. It is clean and the staff is very pleasant. The Suite is to die for, or rather to Live for. Don't pass up an opportunity to stay there.

Nice hotel, very nice decor & friendly staff. Very nice breakfast with great selection but the eggs were very powdery tasting. Wi-Fi was spotty at times. Driveway leading up to hotel is steep with a curve — use caution in icy weather. Great location & close to Outlets as well as I-80 to reach more shopping areas, restaurants, supermarket, etc. Would recommend.

The heating was hard to work in the room. Also, the breakfast worker wasn't very attentive to the food supplies. But other than that it was very clean and a nice hotel. The front desk worker was exceptionally kind.

Everything from booking to checking out was simple and easy to do. Staff was nice. The room that I stayed in was mostly clean. Wish the quality of the beds and pillows were better, especially the pillows. Overall though a decent experience, but nothing amazing.

This Best Western inside is so so. The only things good about this hotel is it close proximity to Crossing Premium, two blocks, one can walk there from hotel. A lot of things in the hotel not working. Wifi is on and off all day. When we arrived, TV in our room not working.

I just stayed 3 nights for a local professional meeting. The room was clean, bed comfortable and the staff very courteous and friendly. That's all I could ask for.

Basic and plain but very clean and hospitable. Was a good location as a central location by which to explore the surrounding towns, shopping and activities. Shopping outlets next door and the two large water parks within only minutes away. Ample restaurants close or not far.

The hotel isn't very clean, as I saw a drop of blood on the bedsheet. Guests that stay at the hotel get free breakfast, but the breakfast room is very small and usually very crowded. There isn't much variety of food in the breakfast buffet, but I dont recommend getting the pork sausages. The pork sausages are over seasoned and are very salty. Overall, I do not recommend staying here unless you have no other place to stay at.

Very lovely and clean hotel. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The price was excellent. The room beautiful, pool very clean. Great selection of breakfast items which tasted great. However, I would like to recommend them to have a variety of meats, not everyone eats pork, like myself. The other downfall is the hill you have to walk up if you're not driving. However, all the positive things about this hotel definitely outweighs those 2 small issues. I would definitely be returning and can't wait.

I was not satisfied with the accuracy of my reservation. I was placed in a room that I did not reserve. I was changed to another room and then the bed was broken. After waiting for that to be fixed, after about an hour my TV just cut off! I waited for about 45mins before the maintenance guy was instructed to install a new one in our room… Also the pool was ice! Nothing heated about it! Definitely disappointing!

When I arrived the front desk girl was no where to be found but I could hear her around the corner. Other people were already waiting to be checked in. The hotel was still being turned over at 330. I found a large pile of wet dirty towels on my bathroom floor and no toilet paper. I was working out with some guy was vacuuming and windexing the room. The elevator inspection states Ramada inn and expired in 2014 and yes the elevator is definitely in need of service. The decor is dated and ceiling has signs of leak damage. The breakfast is way to late in the morning especially for business travelers who have to get on the road early.

This is a very nice hotel and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated and our stay was very comfortable. It is convenient to the highway and restaurants. I also liked that checkout was 11AM. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bathrooms are extremely small and there are no towel racks-only 2 small hooks on the back of the bathroom door.

Room was great overall. Front desk service was nice Chris was great with local recommendations. Breakfast was okay could be a little faster when it comes to refilling the food.

Clean, quiet and affordable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A few restaurants in the area and pizza delivery available. Nice pool. Rooms were modern and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

The Hotel was very clean the grounds were neatly manicured. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The dining room was very clean and the food was fresh. The stall was excellent. Housekeeping made sure that all our needs were met especially extra towels.

The staff was great, the location was great. The room was clean. Extremely minor complaints, one not even regarding the hotel itself. My only minor complaints would be that I couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi, though the three other guests I was with were able to. If you get a room with a fireplace, they are wood-burning however there were no shovels/pokers provided so we opted not to have a fire. We did have a wasp get in our room somehow which we managed to take care of. Also we attempted to order delivery from a restaurant advertised in the binder of the room but they refused because we were 'too far away'. Despite all of that, I would 100% recommend this place as everything else was perfect. Beds were super comfy!

My first impression was too be very upset, because I chose this hotel because of the fireplace in the room. I was very excited about this feature. After arriving I found out they are closed April 1st. The front desk basically just said… It's on the web site when I complained. No apology. The sign out front is still advertising fireplace rooms also. Really not cool. However, the rest of the stay was great. The room was very clean and the housecleaning staff were ver…y friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the finishings and cleanliness. The breakfast was great, eggs, waffles, sausage, lots to choose from, however, the last day we couldn't get a table or to the food it was so crowded. The pool is only 4 feet deep and closes at 9, so we never went to that. I'd stay here again. Overall, satisfied.

The best place to stay in Poconos. Delicious hot breakfast, clean rooms and polite staff. The kids enjoy the heated pool. We've been staying at this place even when it was. Still Ramada and each time it never disappoints.

Stayed for 1 night. I was nervous because so many of these smaller Pocono hotels have bad reviews of being outdated and dirty but I was happy with this place. It seems recently updated, our room was clean. Some stains on the carpet but that happens in a hotel! We had a smoking room because there were no others available and I was concerned it would stink but there was no smoke smell in the room, just a slight smell in the hall. Breakfast was good, waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal etc. Would stay again!

Check in was fine, the room looked great. But unfortunately the Internet sucked I tried connecting my console to the Wi-Fi and it wouldn't work. We went down to the front desk to get help all she kept telling me was you need to put in a password but nothing was popping up to put one in so I had to use my personal hotspot to get Wi-Fi. Then the tub, so gross. We put the jets on and after a few minutes black gunk was comin out into the tub. I had to drain the whole tub and clean the whole tub, had to do it two more times after that too. So I ended up not even using it. Then I told them about it and they didn't even bother to at least act like they cared. It was horrible customer service very disappointed I thought it was going to be so much better. I will not be staying there again.

The location is perfect for shopping, the room was beautiful, and the service was as well. Everyone was nice, and helpful I would stay there again when I'm in the Poconos.

I got in late-ish after reserving through the BW phone app (which is pretty frustrating, but has nothing to do with this location specifically). Pool/Exercise room were up on the second floor, though I didn't go check them out. The room seemed a bit larger than I'm used to.

Check in was smooth and seamless. Then it all went down hill. We reserved a king size room and thats what we got. My fault was getting a smoking room. As soon as we walked into the room it smelled like a cigar. I called up to switch rooms but only double beds were available for a $30 up charge so we stuck it out. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The door does not seem secure and you can hear people talking all through the night in the hallways. I would skip this hotel if you are looking for a good night sleep.

Do not waste your money! terrible, stick with holiday inn! best western of poconos is nothing but terrible. I made a reservation over the phone 3 weeks ago and spoke with a guy that said I had til 4 pm the day of to cancel. So I was misinformed because now they say our policy is 4 pm the day prior. Needless to say I was willing to transfer my reservation to next week only because I lost a loved one and the funeral is tomorrow. They said thats okay but we will charge your card today before your stay and you cant cancel. I spoke with a manager who also claimed to be the owner who I could barely understand I think he said his name was sandeep. He was very arrogant and not understanding at all. What a terrible business practice. He needs a lesson on american business. When it came down to it he charged my card for a one night stay because he was too worried about getting every last penny he could. Instead the holiday inn will get my full 2 night stay while I am in the area. I wish him luck because his business will eventually go down the tubes the way he rips people off.

Just to let everyone know if your looking for a great hotel this is the one to go to very clean and a great staff and fyi this hotel is very close to the casino and the crossings for shopping. There are alot of restaurants close by also and font forget camel back.

Excellent location. Pleasant atmosphere in my room and the breakfast was great. I didn't use the pool but will do next time. What made the difference for me between just "good" and excellent was the staff. Jackie is one of the most pleasant people I've come to deal with. The general manager himself went into great detail personally giving me detailed information and recommendations on local attractions and things to do. So many other places I feel like they pretend to be nice because they have to and, in fact, I am being talked to with that familiar mild indifference, but these people are genuinely nice.

When I go to Tannersville I won't stay anywhere else. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The hotel new revocations are perfect, the beds are so comfortable and the set up is perfect. This hotel also has fireplaces and they truly add a romantic and relaxing touch to the room.

My parents and I always make a shopping trip to The Crossings and other stores in December. The Best Western in Tannersville, PA is a great location and the lodgings are very comfortable. It even has a small gym to work off those extra splurges and the updated look is lovely. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. There is even a warm breakfast included.

Extremely happy with our stay. Very closing to the Crossing Outlets for shopping and only about a 10 minute if that ride to the Casino. The hotel has been completely remodeled. There was ample parking, The staff at the front desk was nice and helpful. Check in was Quick. The bathroom was small, but nicely done. Beds were comfortable, clean and pillows soft. The furniture was nice and Flat Screen TV perfect size. Refrigerator was on and working. Microwave was clean. Our heating system worked perfectly. Our room was quiet we really didn't hear noise from others at all. Breakfast that is included in your stay was really good. The staff was on top of everything and made sure it was clean and replenished. Check out again quick and easy. For the price I would recommend this hotel, worth every penny.

Love it, affordable, clean and nice staffing, only bad thing everything closes at 10:00pm including pizzerias and Dinners.

Will NOT recommend! Carpets and decor are dated. We asked for a non smoking room but didn't get one so went back to the front desk where they were quick to tell us we checked smoking via our online booking. We most certainly DID NOT. And then they told us they had no other rooms available. So I'm stuck w a room that smells of cigarettes but it's better than the hallway we walked through that smells of marijuana.

This hotel was very dirty. The bathroom had mold, the carpets were dirty, the doors and door frames were covered with fingerprints and filth. The breakfast was not any better. I took one bite of a pastry and spit it out. The upholstery on the chairs in the breakfast room was laden with dried on food and the trash receptacles were filthy and overflowing. The pool deck was inhabited by bugs, cob webs and dirt. The hot tub was closed down permanently. I'm surprised the PA Dept of Health has not shut this establishment down. The parking lot was a sea of cigarette butts. I'll not be back and would recommend you think twice about reserving anything at this facility.

Our power went out at the time has no generator we stayed 4 night. Everyone was wonderful. Would highly recommend it.

Excellent staff, clean, friendly, and overly helpful. We travel frequently and this is our favorite hotel by far. The rooms are immaculate, the staff is helpful, from helping us with our luggage, to advising on best restaurants to eat at.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was great. Room was clean and pool area was cleaned every night. Stayed 4 days.
