I love the cookies! The breakfast was pretty good and a great deal. Highly recommend the croissants. Wish breakfast went later (it goes to 10; 11 on weekends). Outlets by the bed! We didn't get enough towels, but more were brought after we called. Could use more parking, but they refunded us if we parked in the garage next door. Would stay again.

Well located well managed property. Although AC had tough time keeping up on a hot day. Rooms appear recently renovated and in nice condition. Security is fair leaving stair well access to any floor from downstairs. Location is great, walkable to many key parts of Albany.

The front desk staff is very helpful, and all staff are very nice. We booked a king suite, which turned out to be a standard king room with a connecting door to a second room that had a full-size sofa bed, a table with four chairs, and a small kitchen area with microwave, Keurig machine, mini fridge, and sink. It would have been perfect if it had its own bathroom as well, but we made do with the one in the bedroom. My kids were a little cramped on the sofa bed, so we ordered a twin rollaway — don't bother, it was incredibly uncomfortable. Or bring your own foam mattress to top the awful one. The kids ended up preferring to share the sofa bed. Breakfast includes cooked to order omelets, french toast, and pancakes, and there's a waffle iron on the buffet. One morning also included biscuits and gravy. It would be nice if they would offer something other than pork for the breakfast meats, but we bought our own turkey bacon and used our room microwave. Overall, we're happy enough that this is the first Albany area hotel we have stayed at more than once.

Very helpful staff, my friend dropped their phone down the elevator shaft and the staff retreived it in less than 3 hours.

The Hotel is very nice and attached to the hospital. It made going back and forth for visiting family very easy. However when I tried to call the front desk from my cell phone I could not get through and could not dial the room I was trying to reach. When I called the reservation office, they said they could not transfer me to the front desk and I was hung up on several times. The hotel is a great place to stay but I would not depend on being able to reach the front desk by phone.

Read my review. I have not gotten to bed because I think they did not change the bedsheets! See the pictures and judge for yourselves. Look at the right and look at the left. I have no choice It is too late to go somewhere else.

My experience began with Jacquie, who drove the shuttle to the Amtrac station to pick me up (& also took me back). Then came Abbas and finally Rachel, both Concierges. They were all very considerate and courteous. Oh, and I don't want to leave out the housekeeper on the 7th floor who was working Thursday. I asked if I could give her some trash and she said, "Sure, I live for garbage; at least that's what I tell my children". They all made my stay better with their smiles and kind words. Very nice room, clean and nicely decorated. Staff very accommodating with storing luggage. Airport shuttle was 20 minutes late for my Airport pickup despite me calling to confirm the day before and the morning of. Otherwise great stay.

Delightful Spacious. And NEW Hotel in the heart of University Heights. RESTAURANTS on premises offering palat of Gourmet dishes in wounderful settings. Sports Bar, gym, office equipment and service, off street secure parking, Very secure. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and immaculaty clean. Superior staff, in all areas dedicated to all patrons either a hotel guest, attending a event or just a great meal.

The rooms were nice, shower pressure great! Location close to food, bars and CVS was great. Would stay again!

Very nice people rooms are OK food was good, but the Wi-Fi did not work and it still was not working properly when I checked out.

Nice, clean hotel with a Starbucks on the bottom floor. Parking was difficult to find — we first parked in the attached garage, but we were told by hotel staff that we would be charged if we didn't move car. Finally found the hotel parking lot, but it's not easy. Pool was good for kids. Friendly staff.

Very clean large rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. My husband was at Albany Medical Center and the hotel has a walkway to the hospital. It was so convenient.

Great room for an overnight stay! Very clean, room was larger than expected, and staff was very nice. Had some trouble finding where to park, so I had to call the desk for directions. Very happy with my short stay.

Super clean, walking distance from the park and about a mile walk from some great restaurants, our stay was short bit it was the best sleep we've had in a week of hotels. Super comfortable beds.

Just had a couple of drinks in the bar, it was for a business meeting. The setting was nice and professional yet relaxed and not noisy. Will be back again!

Nice easy experience. The room was nice, I don't get to use the services much. The parking can be hard to find, especially when following GPS. The water pressure in the shower was bad though.

Stayed for interview at Albany Medical. Service was great, room was nice and clean. Free Wi-Fi. Only problem was I tried to set up wake up call for 6:30am, the automated service said "error" so I gave up. Ended up getting 2 wake up calls at 4:30am and had to unplug phone. Otherwise everything was fine.

I was there for a work conference. Staff was generally friendly, work space was clean, food served was delicious. Rooms were clean and there are nearby convince stores to walk to or just get a breath of fresh air.

Location was on the intersection of New Scotland and Holland Ave which is close to my parents house. Breakfast is buffet style with omelets made to order, different assortment of pastries. Service is fine, room service menu can use some work. Rooms are clean, with a nice view.

The Hilton web site is very deceptive the way it displays room rates for this property. It shows a day stay rate of 69 which is only good for 8 hours. I checked in and told them I was staying over night and they said nothing to me about the rate going up and I ended up having to pay 229. I know I should've read the fine print but the reason I giving a bad rating is that the front desk was very rude and condescending to me when I questioned the rate when I checked out.

The bus drivers (Ryan and an Asian gentleman from the Philippines) were both very friendly, right on time, and professional. Check in was nice and smooth. They had complimentary cold drinks in the lobby at check in time and free coffee in the morning that was nice. They gave a room on the top floor with a good view overlooking Albany medical center. The room was spacious and comfortable with 2 queen beds. Features such as a large flat panel TV, microwave oven and fridge. Free in room Wi-Fi was also a standard amenity and the signal was fast and reliable. Nice heated indoor swinging pool and spa. Many fellow guests also took advantage of this nice facility and relax and enjoyed the nice spa and pool like us. The location is a bit far from downtown but still walkable. Washington Park is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel and free outdoor shows presented by Park Playhouse in the summer evenings and many people got there early to get good seats. It’s outdoor, bring your own blankets, refreshments, and make sure to have bug spray so that you can enjoy the show. Overall, we think it’s a nice hotel not only for people visiting the medical center but for people just vising Albany areas as well. Stayed July 2013, traveled as a couple.

Dated and worn. Terrible parking situation. Circled the lot for a while — no concierge to assist us. Lifted my comforter to find a partially exposed mattress, stained with blood. Spent the rest of the stay trying to avoid touching anything.

This Hotel doesnt seem to recognise they are attached to the most major medical center in all of the capital region of NY state. Would think a little compassion for those that have loved ones in the medical center would follow with a chain hotel such as this with such proximity to provide a discount stay for family to be as close as possible for obvious reasons. You are to ignorant to realise a hospital is not a resort destination so charging premium rates for those already suffereing is beyond words. If you want to be a resort hotel with resort prices then find a location in a resort destination, otherwise let someone else with compassion and humanity take up this space to provide for those in need.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the weekend. I was expecting any normal hotel experience with room service and other amenities. There is no regular room service in this hotel. The only room service they offer is from the restaurant downstairs starting at 5 pm. The breakfast they offer is only at the restaurant between certain times but that costs about $11 a person which is ridiculous if you ask me. I would rather pay that for someone to bring me my food. Second, the parking is TERRIBLE. There are only a handful of parking spots that you basically have to fight for. We drove around for about an hour until we found one and it got robbed right from under us. There is a parking ramp next to the hotel that you have to pay for. If you purchase a room at the hotel I don't feel like you should have to pay to park as well. Third, the rooms are not very sound proof. You can hear everything that goes on. I had a hard time falling asleep because of all the noise. People slamming doors all night, people walking above you, people talking outside etc. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very friendly. The pool area Is very small as well but that wasn't a major issue with us. I would not stay at this hotel again because the amenities were not up to par.

Great Hotel! Nice pool, nice lobby! I love the overall atmosphere and environment of the place. Its in a great location, its close to all the nice shops and restaurants etc.
