When we got in our room it clearly smelled like someone smoked some pot. As we searched the room we found this. I am a licensed professional counselor and addictions counselor. My significant other is also an addictions counselor. We knew exactly what this was when we found it. We have two young ones with us and thankfully they didn’t find it. We took it down to the front desk and of course no manager is around this weekend. Something best be done about this — clearly the room wasn’t cleaned properly and my young grandchildren were out at risk. Edit — the staff when we checked out said it wasn’t there when they cleaned. This will not be dropped.

Great place for a nights sleep.

Great-accommodations. Centrally located around Mall, restaurants, bookstores and colleges.

Yes I do recommend Choice hotels. But they need to do something about inconsiderate people that like to SLAM the ______ Doors it almost 10 pm come on people.

After 10 hours on the road, it’s nice to stay at a hotel that gets it all right. Comfortable, clean, all the conveniences and courteous employees. The free breakfast was great.

Do not stay here. Yes, COMFORT SUITES is one of my favorite motel chains. How ever, this one was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Totally not up to standard. What, you ask. A ton of stuff. Breakfast was one point that was not par. Towels were NEVER in the pool area. Paper towels were OUT in the bathrooms. … for 3 days! One of our 3 days, we were TOTALLY skipped by house keeping. And, NO compensation. Things went on, and on and on.

Nice large rooms. Good for a few nights stay. Nice breakfast that's standard. Large bathroom. Also in a nice area and not far from downtown or the airport.

We loved this stay. The folks who checked us in were super kind and hospitable. It’s always great to be met by smiling faces. There was small mix up on our end about the number of beds in the room and the staff handled it quickly and got us exactly what we needed. The room was quiet, clean, spacious and accommodated 3 touring musicians quite well. We all commented on the water pressure in the shower. I can’t stress enough how important this is for us folks who tour for a living. This place nailed it. The fitness center and pool are an added bonus! Breakfast was solid. We will definitely stay here again when we are playing in the Rochester area!

Touring comedian Bianca Caruso recently stayed here after a performance and had a wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly at check-in (even after 12am! ) and the room was perfectly clean and quiet. There was a great fitness room, and free breakfast to enjoy in the morning before check out as well. Thank you for taking such great care of our client, and we look forward to staying with you again!

The Chambers are good for the price. The lunch is very good, parcel that it is free.

Hotel is very nice. Rooms are clean, I’ve had a few issues with the staff and the way they come across to people. Overall it’s a good value.

Pretty good night's sleep considering I slept on one of their pullout beds!

Nice room but could have been cleaner. Found several items on the floor (candy, hair ties, etc. ) from previous guests. Location is convenient to RIT.

Rooms are clean but the rest of the place is filthy. Halls reception area etc. Pool crystal clear. We were greeted Sunday evening by a girl who never made eye contact and wore a camaflauge sweatshirt obviously not dressing for the job she wants. The front desk area has dried mud and here it is Tuesday and it's still on the floor with candy wrappers Etc.

Standard Comfort Suites. Check-in efficient. Room clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast had waffle maker and eggs and ham as well as the usual cold foods.

Great hotel for stay, either to visit or work, just remodeled a year ago and still as new… great staff, Tito in the breakfast area always with a smile and very polite, Brandy at front desk is the best and Sam as a Housekeeper Supervisor… they all are a great team and a great place to stay!

It was a good stay. Hallways a little dated and breakfast was as you'd expect but the room was clean and modern. Wi-Fi and HBO worked well for me. I would stay here again.

We been there 5 times, we come from Niagara Falls to go to Golden Corral, and to stay at your hotel, we love the pool, the people are always great, and the Hotel is always clean, we will continue to stay there as long as you have us lol.

Clean & comfortable room. Pleasant staff. Nice indoor pool. TV in the room was quite small. HBO and a few other channels were inoperable. Overall a decent place to stay.

Great stay. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was awesome. Pool was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was nice. Only real complaint was that there were a lot of kids in the pool whose parents didn't seem to care how they behaved. Rather loud and obnoxious toward the other guests.

This hotel was a very clean hotel, the service was great, everyone of the staff members was friendly and helpful, the pool is clean and well maintained, the rooms where very nice and clean, my visit was an all around good visit, I would recommend u to stay here.

I heard all of the footsteps throughout the night. It kept me awake. Upon checking out I discovered my discomfort is commom and should I return, request a room on the third/top floor. Very disappointed. Worst hotel experience ever.

Very nice hotel. The accommodations easily surpass other hotels in the area in the same price range. The rooms are superb and extremely clean. The beds large and comfortable. The only suggestion would be a TV upgrade… A 40" aged flat planel isn't bad for a Motel8 but I'd expect something a little more up to date here!

Nice hotel, friendly staff, fine breakfast. You can walk to the nearby park and the mall on the other side. The pool is small but nice and we had a good nights rest.

Stayed 2 nights. Rooms were clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. Personally did not have breakfast but their breakfast bar looked to be about standard. Overall, I would stay at this Comfort Suites again.

Nice hotel with lots of room. Close to the interstate and close to lots of restaurants and shops. Pool was nice temperature and spacious. Breakfast included in the price. This consisted of bagels toast and hot waffles. Coffee available all day.

Clean hotel with spacious rooms and comfy beds. Great for family or couples. Breakfast in the morning was good. Scrambled eggs or omelet with sausage, waffles, cereals (hot and cold), fruit, toast/English muffins/bagels, muffins and yogurt. Plenty of juice and coffee/tea. Free Wi-Fi and parking is a bonus. Very close to highways.

The Comfort Suites in Rochester NY is in a great location. Close to many shops and businesses and easy to get to. The rooms are clean, well kept, and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Great place! As soon as I enter they welcome you with open arms! Rooms were nice and big! We had 2 Queens and sofa bed. Was perfect.

I loved this place! We were having a hard time one night and this place made us so comfortable! They're service was amazing, foods and coffees good! Place is clean! Loved it! Thank you for making a crappy night not seem so bad!

It was a comfortable room for the night. The customer service could have been more polite. The complimentary breakfast had a variety of options but food quality was mediocre. Pool, exercise room available. Several amenities close by. Close to highway and to interstate.

I would say that the service was great! They handed me everything I needed, and treated us well. I would give the pool a 9/10 ONLY because it goes up to 4 feet. The pool is too small for adults, but great for kids. Would recommend definitely overall as a hotel!

Very accommodating staff. My daughter had her birthday pool party here. The staff allowed us to us the breakfast room to enjoy pizza, the girls swam all night and thr suite was extremely spacious. Very clean and would stay here again in a heart beat. Plus you cant beat the breakfast!

Great value. Good location right off the interstate and near many restaurants and shopping destinations. Adequately comfortable accommodations. Free breakfast was good. Only real disappointment were the lights in the room, which used bright white CFLs of a higher than necessary wattage, which was annoying.

Very friendly staff, big rooms. While you're here you should go to Sultan Labanese Cuisine and Bakery, I never tried Lananese before the Sultan, now I'm one of their many fans. Great food, good prices and they will help you decide what to get. Don't miss this hidden treasure.

Amazing hotel. They have everything you need. Check in fast and friendly. Room just awesome. Wifi fast enough. Bed just what the doc ordered. Pillows; they provide u with both hard and soft. Breakfast was just amazing. This is for me better than those overpriced 4 or 5 stars hotels.

I just want to thank one of your employees for helping me out; I stayed at the Rochester NY on Hylan rd. After leaving the hotel I realized that I misplaced my wedding band, I just got married three months ago, after calling the hotel I reached Daisy Chei, she dropped what she was doing and went and searched my room, she found the ring and FedEx it to me over night, she is one awesome person that needs to be recognition, very helpful and honest, it is very hard to find people like her, I just wanted to thank her by letting Comfort suites know that they have a great employee! She even called me to make sure I received it today! What a special person! Pat Finnerty Jr.
