Charge my card $260+ dollars that was not Authorized to do so, which cause me overdrafts and having to replace my card. Leaving me with now way to get food or enjoy the surrounding attractions. The manager showed no comparison or care at all for there actions and just told me basically he will fix it when he gets to it! Horrible getaway that was just Ruined by neglect, un professionalism, poor customer service with no compensation at all! When asked for the Corporate number he replied and said there isn’t one. Wasted time that I can’t get back and a vacation that just turned into survive with what you got. Rooms supposed to be non smoking yet burn marks on covers and couch, doors to the room have to be lifted to open and close, not to forget the half a&& cleaning with the horrible Mel dew smell all through the hotel!

Filthy Hotel! Doors didn’t shut, locks on sliding door to balcony did not lock so instead of fixing the lock they screwed a bar you have to put across the door. Walked into the room and there was a wet dirty washcloth left in the sink! When maintenance was called to our room and shown the washcloth, he said it was not his department and instead of removing the dirty washcloth or calling housekeeping to remove it, he just left it there and walked out! Gross! Do Not Recommend!

Customer service was no good other then that hotel is great but wouldn’t stay another night here they didn’t give us our river front view when we booked for that and also when we went to the room it was in service so we had to go back down get new room and we finally got the river view but manger was so rude will never get another night here. I prefer my second night at the sandman hotel in Hamilton they were way better!

Five out of five, would stay again. The room was beautiful with a sweet view of the Niagara River from our balcony. Friendly staff, the restaurant called Currents had great drinks and pretty good food. The bed was comfy and soft, plenty of pillows and overall was just a great stay.

Decent economical hotel. Beautiful view of the lake. Had 2 swimming pools, outdoor and indoor. Well equipped gym. Reached early in the day but the staff were very strict About the check-in time, 3 pm. No beverages were available till 5 pm. Didn't go for dinner or breakfast so can't comment on the food. The lobby toilet needs repair. Overall a just satisfactory experience.

Not up to the Name, location is good. Bit thrifty in providing facilities. Rooms required proper maintenance, some of the door keys are not working, in our room there was no sanitary tissue Holder, only one soap provided for two persons for bath as well as for hand wash.

I have stayed here in the past, when it was under different ownership, and it was wonderful. A perfect family oriented hotel with great pools and a fantastic location. Things were much different this time! My impression from the moment we pulled into the parking lot was that it is in severe need of maintenance work. Weeds were all over the asphalt in the parking lot, and numerous old mattresses were piled up on the side in plain sight. The paint on the hotel was so discolored by dirt, that it was hard to see what the true color was. During our 7 night stay, we had several problems. Our room door didn't open from the outside most times because it was hanging crooked from the jam and would get caught up on the frame. The interior door in our room had paint peeling off in huge chunks. We had a beautiful river view room, but unfortunately the main view we saw was the top of the dirty roof below that had trash and an old comforter thrown on it. In most hotels, if there's a balcony, there are chairs on them for the guests to sit and enjoy the view. Not here! When we asked for chairs, we were given 2 fold-up chairs. And I guess hotel management thinks we should keep the sliding glass door closed to enjoy the river view because there is no screen! So when we did open the sliding glass door, we had flies coming in that we had to deal with in the room for our entire stay.

Well I need to make an amendment to my original review below. I booked on my credit card and when I arrived, I paid cash. The young lady gave me my receipt any my key card. Off I went to our room and swimming. Enjoyed our stay as listed below. However, when I got home, I noticed my credit card was charged for the room, meaning I have now paid twice! I notified the hotel and customer service. I had a file opened and I was asked to send them a scanned image of the receipt. Which I did, but to my dismay, the receipt showed that I paid with credit card, not cash. I urged them to review the surveillance cameras, however… my file was closed after numerous phone calls, emails and attempts to reach Steve, the General Manager, and I am out over 150 bucks! Bu the way Radisson, I am NOT a liar, I think the front desk clerk pocketed the money! (I am extremely disappointed) Comfy beds and pillows and a huge pool indoors and another large one outdoors! Love that it had a balcony too!

This hotel has gone down hill dramatically in the last year. The front desk staff was apathetic to say the least. We are Platinum club members and had to ask for our upgrade which was unavailable. Then we had to ask for our breakfast vouchers. Last year we were greeted with a suite, a gift bag and breakfast and drink vouchers. The maintenance non the hotel has also gone down hill. The only saving grace was the delicious dinner we had in the dining room. Although the service started out awful, the dining room manger Dan Rossiter jumped in to pick up the slack. He was obviously overworked as he was running between the bar and dining room, but managed to stay smiling, friendly and solicitous.
The hotel location is lovely but they are severely understaffed and undertrained.

Such a beautiful hotel with access to the pier on the river. It's a beautiful place, and although the place was under renovation when we went there, it was really good! Unfortunately, they did not offer free breakfast along without stay, which was a bit of a turnoff. But overall, loved the room with the river view and the location of the hotel itself.

Great location. Beautiful views of the river. Desk Staff could have been friendlier but restaurant staff was nice. Food was good. Hotel is Going through lots of upgrades but the work did not disturb or inconvenience us. The Island is low key but has an amusement park and state park with a golf course and beach on the Niagara river. The hotel is 15 minutes to downtown Buffalo in one direction and Niagara Falls in the other.

Beautiful hotel. Services include indoor as well as outdoor pool, huge gym, deck, restaurant etc. You can see the view of Niagara River from the hotel rooms. The rooms are big and family friendly. They provide coffee maker, TV, hair dryer, iron and a mini fridge in the room however they do not provide microwave. Overall we had an amazing stay.

The hotel is OK. Clean and comfortable.

Its a good place for vacation rental but we have to buy food. A little far from Niagara falls but very scenic and peaceful place. Have river view.

Checked in today for a 2 night birthday celebration. View is awesome hotel is s. T carpets are grubby and glasses in room needed a clean before we used them. As for the restaurent with a fab view that was open till 9pm but was setting up for breakfast when we arrived at 8.10pm — then offered bar menus great burger option but there was an issue with this… how can an American hotel not have any fries at all! Ruined my night and birthday.

Room was very spacious and clean. We also had a very nice view along the water. We appreciated the front desk's assistance when we needed it. We would come back to this one.

I love this hotel. Everything about it was wonderful. There are two pools in the hotel. There is a gazebo with a lovely view. The hotel is by the water and you can just sit outside and relax. The staff was great and very respectful. I would definitely come back again and take pictures.

The hotel is located on the banks of the river Niagar, 18 km from the waterfall! The rooms are clean, towels are changed every day. The staff is patient, attentive! The breakfast was disappointing, very expensive and tasteless, the buns were stale! Only the puff pastry cakes were consoled! Breakfast for 4 was at $54, the table was littered with empty, dirty plates and they were not in a hurry to clean up!

For just a couple of bucks for adults they let non guests use the pool. It's a cold winter up here and we took the kids swimming for a fun thing to do. Everything was great, pool was clean. Pool is big. Goes from 3ft to 9ft and they have a small 1.5 ft section separate for kids. Also have a hot tub. Would definitely do it again.

Front desk service was good. Bathroom was not cleaned well. It was under remodeling so there was A lot of unfinished projects going on. Hopefully when it's complete it will look better.

Very clean, nice rooms. Comfortable beds, polite and helpful staff. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay with the kids being able to swim. A trip we will definitely be repeating.

Hotel room seemed clean, could pay more attention to detail like the dust that builds up on the toilet paper holder. Did not get a chance to check out the restaurant or the pool. Approached one morning to look at breakfast options and chose not to opt in to the measly looking $15 buffet. Parking lot wasn't plowed during several inches of snow accumulation. Could hear some noise from neighboring rooms at times. Overall, not bas for the value offered during winter time.

We went to use the pool for the day. My daughter, sister and I had a great time swimming and using the sauna. It wasn't too busy and the pool was warm.

While the staff were friendly and very apologetic about the problems, the rooms are not the best, door mechanism wonky at best and the doors all slam shut making entry and exit impossible to be quiet (everyone on the floor here's you coming and going), the room carpet is old and an allergen factory I woke up every morning congested even with reactin. We had no hot water in the morning 2 of 3 days and for me a clean room and hot water is mandatory. Hotel has lots of potential and some nice things but they need to fix the electrical and the hot water at minimum and the rooms need to be renovated and fixed up to be worth the price. It's on a nice piece of property by the water and could be a nice romantic getaway place but it needs some serious TLC. I would stay clear until the problems are fixed.

We went to use the pool area. Cost was 10 for adults and 5 for kids. Sauna is great. Hot tub was broken and I don't believe the heater in the pool was working right as it was much colder than previous visit. Would have been nice to know upfront. Otherwise our visit was nice staff is friendly.

Excellent amenities but the heater did not work at our room which was inconvenient. We had two big and comfortable beds and a good TV although some of the channels did not work according to the guide. The lighting in the room was pleasant and noteworthy.

I took my kids here on a holiday trip to the area. We drove 45 min out of the way to stay in this hotel because of the pool. When we got there the pool was freezing, the local people told us the heater has been broken for weeks so kids could not swim. The room I booked was advertised as a room with a river view but really it was a view of a roof top. The hallways had buckets collecting the water leaking from the ceiling. I tried speaking to the manager but Everytime I went to the desk he was not in the building. I have been calling manager 1-2x a week since I left leaving voicemail but he still has not returned my calls. I would stay clear of this dump and would never go back.

We were put on the newly renovated floor. I'd hate to see the non renovated floors. Our door stuck and was hard to open and close. The outside door to access the elevator did not close so was a security issue. The view of the river from the room was nice. Would not recommend.

What a beautiful location for a hotel! We woke up to the morning sun over the Niagara River. The service was pretty good, and the rooms are decent size, not cramped.

Absolutely WORST Hotel Experience I've ever had! I know the price is good but it doesn't justify such poor service. My toilet didn't flush, the room phone didn't work, the rugs were dusty. I mean the list goes on. We went with a church youth group and my husband was already paid for as a guest speaker and when it was time to check out, they charged us AGAIN. The RUDE lady at the front desk (who was absolutely condescending) couldn't do anything because she "wasn't the person who made the reservation" The staff was rude with my husband who asked for an extension cord to use in one of the conference rooms. It was like they were upset to be hosting for such a large crowd as Is if we weren't producing revenue for them. It was just an overall bad experience and I will never stay at any Raddison hotel again just because of this experience. It has a negative 1 in my opinion.

There are renovations going on at this hotel — but the property is overall still way below Radisson standard and should be closed for a long due overhaul before using the Radisson name. Management need to have attention on staff hospitality and consistency; front desk inattentive, breakfast restaurant was unattended when we came and a girl vacuuming let us in; house keeping didn't remove dirty glassware nor replenished coffee, bottled water and bathroom amenities. Other observations: parking lot has huge pot holes, the outside building and surrounding areas look dirty and not well kept. None of the staff seems to wear uniforms but rather their own clothes. We twice complained to front desk about people smoking next to our balcony, but nothing happened. The pool area and changing rooms need serious cleaning. There was a microwave in our room but not an outlet to connect it to. Only power outlets at the desk in the room, nothing near the bed for mobile charging etc. The room had an old and extremely noisy AC unit. Great balcony with view of the lake, but no chairs. The breakfast buffet looked extremely dull at 8:30am, like the food had been out for hours.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for any reason. Driving up to the hotel the outside of the building looks completely run down to the point where I thought I was in the wrong place. The cost to stay was completely ridiculous given the state of the grounds and the room. Paint was peeling off the walls, the bathroom was gross and didn't look fully cleaned, the parking lot had garbage everywhere and loaded with potholes. Walking to our room felt like walking through a basic 1 star motel because the carpets were dingy and dirty and every door looked like it was broken into at some point. Had issues with the key card and all of the room doors slam shut and are difficult to open. Check out is at noon and we had housekeeping banging on our door at 10am to leave. No room service and the restaurant on the property doesn't open until 5pm. Had I not had to be there for a wedding, I would not have stayed at all.

Clean hotel, nice beds, nice rooms all around but no fridge or microwave. Huge sauna and good pool. Tiny hottub. About 4 things on the restaurant menu…

From the one night stay I had in the hotel, I can tell you that it's an adequate hotel. Free water in the lobby, good shower, and good air conditioning. The air conditioning unit wasn't a thermostat though, it was one of those big units in the corner of the room. Speaking of the room, it seemed like it needed renovation. The carpets looked old and the bathroom wasn't in the best shape. However, it wasn't all bad. The view from the balcony was stunning. And they had a pool and fitness center. The lobby looked very fancy, and although I can't say much about the service, it was good for what it was. Overall, an acceptable hotel but it's room appearance is a bit too crusty.

Great hotel! Staff is friendly and very helpful. Our room was perfect with a king bed and balcony overlooking the beautiful river! We couldn't have asked for a better hotel to stay in! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Buffalo, Grand Island, or Niagara Falls. Super close to Niagara!

It was about 15 to 20 minutes from the US side falls, and the overnight stay was great. Indoor/outdoor pools are really nice and the view was also very nice. Rooms were comfortable enough. Would stay there again.

It was better than expected but in the room that I found there were many mosquitoes. In general a good stay.

There for a kids birthday. Very nice pool. Did not sleep there but the suite they had was very nice and spacious.

Very disappointing stay-no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. T. V. Didn't work and worst of all the room staff were very rude and unaccommodating. You get one tiny pod filter of coffee in your room and no complimentary coffee or tea. The rooms aren't cheap and you definitely don't get what you pay for.

The resort is beautiful. I would reccomend booking a room facing the river. It was awesome waking up and seeing the river fromt every Morning. The only issue I would have is that they should have a minimum of a a mini fridge and a microwave in each room. I went as a group and everyone had different rooms. That's how I noticed the differences in amenities.

Nice looking pool. Hotel rooms are nice but a little banged up. Each room had a balcony and it has an ok view of the river.

Great for a one night stay. All rooms have balconies which is a rarity nowadays. Our balcony (and many others) had a direct view of the waterfront. No problems with staff. It is somewhat secluded so get food/snacks on the way. Nice indoor pools and decor. We paid $50 through Groupon and couldn't have gotten a better deal!

Very nice resort. We went for a swim. Great experience in the middle of winter. Also enjoyed hot tub n sauna.

Not at all what I expected. We were assigned this hotel while in the area for a hockey tournament. Surprised that we'd get a "resort and spa", but whatever. Then we looked at the pictures online, and it definitely looked a bit dated. Expectations were tempered. It vainly wasn't the fanciest place ever, but it was decent. No, the accommodations weren't the most modern. The regular rooms were a touch small, but they were clean and the balconies were nice. We had friends who got a suite, which was much roomier. The pool was EXCELLENT. Very large, and they even have a lifeguard on duty. Front desk staff wasn't the friendliest, but we talked to the manager a couple of times, and she was fantastic. Don't eat at the restaurant, the are CLEARLY not prepared for more than 2-3 tables at a time. We ate dinner and breakfast there, and service was painfully slow (though the good was pretty good). Very hockey-friendly hotel, had no problems with our kids playing knee hockey. They also gave us a complimentary party room for a team party. All in all, it was everything I'd expect from hotel at $109/night.

Arrived late night but hotel was stilly busy. The location of the hotel makes ordering food in very limited and the close by food isnt any good. The hotel itself was nice, finding parking was a problem though since it was pretty packed. The rooms were decent size and beds were okay! The view or the Niagara River was very nice.

The rooms need updated. Wall paper is peeling, ceiling needs painted. No refrigerator in rooms. Maid came late and did not change sheets, just straightened ours up and did not give us new cups.

The hotel rooms are okay. The river view is great. The hotel amenities are great, but if you stay here you have got to eat at the bar. It is some of the best overall food I've had. Just absolutely amazing.

I staid as part of an international gathering, service was poor the place did not cater for my need breakfast was slow nothing arrived at the same time, no bar open during the day and no shuttle bus to ferry people nearly 3 miles away to eat lunch ECT over this experance put me off in recommending the place to family or friends the place was rundown and in poor state on top floor bins out holding rain leaking in the place smelled moldie and dirty we made a complaint before we left I hope our conserns were taken on board.

I would not stay here! We turned on the lights and there were a total of 5 spiders (alive and building a web) plus two more webs in the corners and a dead spider on the wall that was smashed. Called the front desk who sent up housekeeping 30 minutes later with a duster who then just dusted the spiders onto the floor. THE LIVE SPIDERS! I then told housekeeping that he just swept the spiders onto the floor and he stated he didn't see them. He also stated that the spiders were coming in because it was getting cold outside (it was 77 outside) Needless to say we slept with the lights on with very little sleep. When getting ready in the morning, there was yet another spider hanging over the bed. When speaking with the manager he did not seem concerned about the issue. He said that he would look into it but of course we were checking out. By far worst hotel experience of my life. Just very disappointed.

To say less than impressed would be an understatement. Spiders everywhere inside the room and in the ceiling corners. I don't think the place has been sprayed in years. Carpeting was dirty. Halls and rooms were moldy smelling and the service staff used the guest elevators making guests wait while they put the laundry carts in elevators. The fridge was missing a leg and wobbled to the point of falling over. The only good thing in the room was that the bathroom was clean. The pool ran out of towels… ridiculous. And it was not that crowded… the 2 teenage girl lifeguards were more interested in talking to each other than watching the kids. The front desk staff — — RUDE! Rude is the nicest word that can be used. I called multiple times to confirm reservations and what we needed… needed roll away — — never quoted extra charge (4 calls never quoted) $15 /day. Told them we needed pull out couch — — never gave us linens to make it up — — and when I called for them I had to call front desk repeatedly.

I am staying right now and I wish I could give less than 1 star. AC in room is not working in this summer and that lady on front desk is so rude telling us even I sleep in fan at home, big deal! Well someone tell them it is not home and I dont pay so many $ at home. I have been to so many countries and hotels. Worst service ever. If you come here wish nothing breaks down. My room phone is not working and they are not fixing even that.

This was not worth the price. The room smelled like body odor, it was dirty. This place was advertised as a resort, but the rooms didn't even have TV guides, microwave or refrigerator. The hairdryer didn't work. No where close to being a resort. I would not recommend this as a choice to stay for any reason. The only positive was the bartender, Gerry. He was friendly, helpful and genuinely nice.

You were so helpful throughout the planning process, the staff was friendly, and Cory was extraordinarily helpful all afternoon. We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel! After a busy day of shopping, it felt like we were relaxing and coming home as we headed along the road to the hotel. I had not stayed there in well over 20 years and I was very impressed. Our room with the river view was amazing. Everyone at your hotel treated us like honoured guests and we really hated to leave on the Friday morning. Hopefully at some time in the near future, we will have the opportunity to stay once again at your lovely establishment.

Staff was very polite, helpful, and super friendly all around. I loved the pool, etc. Facilities. I was on the 6th floor with a river view. To say the view was beautiful would be the short sentence. A Wonderful, quiet yet welcoming place to be. I'd go back in an instant, and will definitely plan this as a future stop.

So relaxing, worth the ride to have a nice loving romantic stay. Good choice Jaycee's for meetings.

Just wanted to let you know that we had great stay, and as always would have liked to have stayed longer. The room was real comfortable for my wife and I. Our friends really liked the hotel and I believe they'll be staying there next time they come down for shopping trip or just to relax by the pool when the weather gets warmer. Your staff cheerfully moved us into this fabulous river view suite! We ordered a feast of a lunch to prepare for the Cup final and I'm happy to report that the meal was fast, hot and delicious. The clam chowder might have tied with the best I've ever had. Also, the steak sandwich was superior, I actually wrote home about it. Thanks so much, you have my compliments and respect. Thanks! :).

I just thought that I would send you a quick note to say what a great experience we had at your hotel for the Shoot Out Classic at the beginning of December. I know it can be very overwhelming for hotels to accommodate hockey teams and even more with so many staying at your hotel. I cannot say enough about how great your staff was, they were very accommodating and courteous. It was one of the best booking experience and stays I have had as manager of this team. Everything was smooth start to finish, if given the opportunity we will definitely request your hotel again.

We recently wanted to treat ourselves to a local night away from the house. The idea came from AARP. I chose Grand Island due to having spent so little time there. (occasional work) I read some reviews and it seems many were not 5 star. What I found was a hotel built some years ago and evolved into a HUGE hotel and conference center, and I believe in it's Heyday was probably viewed very much a "5 Star" facility, and considered to be THE place to go for corporate and larger functions, being so close to Canada, and Buffalo. Sadly I did not take advantage of all Byblos has to offer. Room was on 5th floor, with a view of the water and area (beautiful), it was clean, albeit slightly dated decor, quiet, and appreciated. The staff was very helpful, and seemed to be pleased we were there. Thank You Staff. I would absolutely Recommend Byblos to others.

Hi, Stayed at Resort on may long weekend after a long struggle at night we got this resort details and went there at 12:30 night with no hope becuase we didnt get any room at niagara so we thought of leaving the place but got the info from three point start hotel and he reserved the room for us and went there with no hope since its at end of the road but awesome stay and nice rooms and breakfast was too good and will go next time to enjoy the place.

This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. It was run down and dated. Mold in the room, wall paper detaching from the the walls. Toiletries in the bathroom were not replacement during my stay. Bathroom towels had holes and were shredding. Pool staff were unpleasant and very rude. Exterior door wasn't locking. Hallways up and down the stairs were a complete mess. Staff always assumed the right to use the elevators before quests. With 100% confidence I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed at this hotel over the 4th of July weekend with my wife, 2 year old son and extended family. Bedbugs were found in all four of our hotel rooms on the day of check out. Management and housekeeping were brought into the rooms and shown the bugs and we did not pay for the rooms. Several days later in our home state, my son woke up completely covered in red swollen bites. They covered his arms, legs, face, fingers, toes, even his ears. Apparently the bed bugs had come home in our suitcase. My wife called the hotel and spoke with the manager. The manager was completely unsympathetic and said that there was no way to know that it came from their hotel. When my wife explained that bed bugs had been found in our room and that we were certain it came from them, the manager claimed she was unaware of the problem. Figuring that both management and housekeeping had been made aware of the problems and seen the actual bugs I can only assume that she was either lying or the hotel is doing nothing to eradicate the bedbugs. I am angry and disgusted at both the conditions of this hotel and their reaction. I can not discourage people strongly enough to stay away from this establishment. It has cost me hours of time and money to try and rid my home of these disgusting bugs; nevermind the fact that I have a two year old completely covered is swollen red bites.

Compliments to Byblos for bringing life back to the hotel. My family and friends have attended many events. We especially enjoyed two recent days, Mother's Day Brunch and Beatles night. Very enjoyable. I speak for all of us when I say we are looking forward to more.

Not to the height of other holliday, due to its low maintenance, but acceptable.
