Really nice groomed runs. Great Blue Runs that allowed me to practice and improve to the point of doing a Black Diamond glade run there. If you can abide by a multitude of Texans, skiers in over their heads on many runs, many fallen skiers and snowboarders AND Texans and Okies just stopping anywhere in EVERYONE'S WAY, then you will be OK here. Its a beautiful drive up there from Espanola New Mexico. If you avoid Holidays, you may be able to avoid the outta statas but Texans seem to own the majority of the Angel Fire Properties.

Many times visiting Angelfire and everytime is great! This trip was no exception! They really took good care of us. Everyone remembers our name and is ready to help. Conditions were great and weather was perfect too. Big shout out to everyone at Slopeside Rentals!

We visited Angel Fire this past week after going to Taos for skiing and ski school for our kids and I will say, I wish we’d skipped Taos all together! Watching their ski school made me feel even worse that I had paid so much at Taos for ski school 🤦🏼‍♀️ we will be back next year and will only visit Angel Fire! We were impressed by everyone and all of the amenities! Thank you for not bending over to some political agenda — customer service everywhere we went was amazing! We will be back!

Booked ski school for my kids and realized the following day it was for the wrong date called back and was told it is 35% rescheduling fee!

Bought lift tickets only to find out no lifts were open. No refunds. This is a scam. Do not recommend.

We stayed at the lodge and it was great! The rooms and the whole place definitely look dated, but even so, it was one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Considering we did the stay 2 nights, get 1 free deal, I feel like we got our money’s worth. I did read online that people complain about getting rooms without AC, so I avoided that mistake and made sure to book a room that said “A/C”. Obviously in winter this would be a non issue. My son did the zip line and loved that! The guides who went were incredibly accommodating and very friendly and made the tour the highlight of our trip. They put his picture on the Instagram story and everyone got a kick out of that! There were also a couple of really awesome employees working the lift, as well as the front desk. However, customer service everywhere else was pretty bland. Most of the staff is younger and could probably use some customer service training, for instance, smiling, saying you’re welcome. Then again, maybe it’s just not oklahoma! The service industry here is on a whole other level. There are very few places to eat on Sunday and Monday as it is off season right now. We had to eat at the Mexican restaurant on the resort which was our first bad customer service experience. We had to eat there a second time and it was all different staff and they were way better. The food was decent and the drinks were priced decent for resort accommodations. We will definitely be back!

This place is an absolute joke. All flights are canceled due to a blizzard and I can not get my lift ticket money refunded. Total joke. You are ripping me off for $1395.42. It’s not like you had manufacturing cost or any real expense. It was literally a phone transaction that could simply be reversed.

Terrible customer service.
Manager for the lift tickets was very rude and unhelpful.
Shuttle would not come when called.
When calling for the shuttle or lift ticket information — no answer. It’s like they are too good to answer their phone.

Worst customer service and worst experience with a skii resort. Due to the winter storm coming to texas I had to cancel my reservation because while driving to New México almost had an accident and was really dangerous, only made it to Fort Worth and had to drive back to Houston, so I called them to cancel and at least get a refund of part of the reservation and a girl that works there was screaming at me through the phone and didn't want for me to talk to her manager, after 5 attemtps I gave up. Next time I will go back to Colorado, never even think again about Angel Fire and I will never recommend this resort to anybody.

This is strictly about the service of the ticket office/lift tickets. We were told to buy early for our out of state trip which has now been canceled to covid and covid restrictions. We reached out but they give no refunds, we asked if we could sell or transfer lift tickets and they said no. I understand under normal circumstances to not give refunds but to not let someone transfer the tickets to someone is unacceptable, especially on a weekend that is now sold out. We surely are frustrated now that are out $800.

Great value and a beautiful ski resort!

Definitely not our favorite place. The slopes and the actual staff at them were good. We were snowed in on the way there so we had to pay $35 to reschedule the tubing to the next day. The day we went there was only 1 of the two lanes open. Face forward, one at a time, … Boring for a family. The ski lift was offering a discount for 5th graders but my son his homeschooled so I didn’t have a formal report card, so that was a no. They messed up our lift tickets. We found out when we got up the mountain and had to go back down and get them redone. That took forever. There really wasn’t any concern on their part about any of this. Ski trips are annual family trip for us. This kind of disappointing.

Great family ski resort. Even on a low snow year, like last year, the resort goes out of the way to have fun actives for kids and adults.

Hotel is a little outdated. Rooms are big which is a plus. We booked two queen beds but they were more like full size. Probably one of the nicer locations for Angel Fire. In the summer the restaurants are closed in the evening. Pool is very small.

Great resort! The hotel is very close to the lift. Ziplining course is awesome and very fun. Longest line is 0.25 miles with 200+ feet off the ground.

Angel Fire resort is a grand old resort. In the winter, it's it's a very nice place to stay for skiing. In the summer, it's right at the bottom of the lift for down hill mountain biking. Nice swimming pool and bike storage too. Unfortunately, two things bothered me. NO Air conditioning in rooms. They get very hot even with porch doors open. And no free coffee outside the rooms, nor complimentary breakfast. Since Angel Fire town has almost no services open during the summer, you have to drive a long road to Taos to do any shopping or dining. Everything closes before 6pm. Town and resort need to cater better to summer guests.

The trails are a lot of fun. We rode the bike park and the lines were never too long. There is also a fun little Mexican restaurant near the base that is perfect for refreshments after riding all day.
