Ive stayed in a lot of hotels the past couple of weeks, but none of them were as well run as this hotel. The front desk clerk was super nice and friendly. The girl who works breakfast always asked me how I was doing in the morning and kept checking up with me during breakfast to make sure I was okay. The manager is excellence and you can tell that she not only loves her job, but loves her employees and really goes the extra mile to make guests feel welcome.

The staff at this hotel are wonderful and friendly. They made our stay very pleasant. I couldn't figure out how to work the TV, and the desk clerk, Bianca, came up to our room immediately to show us what to do. The breakfasts were very good, and the gal who prepared them was so sweet to check and make sure everything was to our liking (I wish I could remember her name). The only problem was that the hotel seemed to be short-staffed, but since it was a holiday maybe that is the reason. It does look like the hotel could use a bit of maintenance inside, but our room was perfect. We will definitely stay there again.

This is the best experience we have ever had at a hotel. The staff goes above and beyond to help you. Bianca was wonderful with helping us find places to go. Hotel is very clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Will stay again.

Great hospitality and nice folks. Treat you with respect and kindness. Ms. Rose and her staff are great and care about their guests. Management from the Pine Springs location should take a lesson or two from them. Thanks for caring about your guests!

Super nice staff, great room, comfortable bed. Wish we had remembered swimming suits. Decent decaf coffee, cookies in the lobby.

We we're at the hotel for two nights. We arrived very late and after checking in our keys would not work. That is so frustrating after a long trip. After we got settled and we're all in bed and asleep the front desk called to make sure everything was good. Now if it was a reasonable hour this would have been welcomed and even considered excellent service but since it was after midnight and we were awaken from our sleep I can't say we were happy about it. The next morning, even though our room had two queen beds and would accommodate 4 we only had two towels and had to call for more. The second night, we arrive very late and again our keys didn't work. We are exhausted but had to make a second trip to the front desk. I will say the room was clean and the bed was perfect. We left early every morning so we didn't get to try the breakfast. I think I would try a different hotel the next time I'm in town.

The place looks pretty good from the outside and our room was oversized and well worth the price. The only issue I had was that, due to the odd shape of the pool area, we could see the pool (5ft. Away) from our window and we could only close the white translucent blinds and not the dark curtains. Otherwise this is a very nice place to stay.

We had a great stay at BW Plus, and will definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and had the answers to any questions we had. Our huge room had a nice sitting area, a comfortable king size bed, and was spotless. The breakfast provided was as good or better than could be bought in any restaurant. Thank you all for making us feel welcomed :)

The location of the hotel is very good and has a much better view than the other hotels, clean rooms and high quality service.

Me my Husband and 2 daughters stayed this past weekend and absolutely loved it. The rooms were very clean and Nice. The Contnential breakfast was awesome. The only problem we had was the girls couldn't swim in the inside pool for long then would have to get out every 30 Min bc the pool water was hotter then the hottub lol! Not really a complaint though. Anyways absolutely would stay there again.

I loved it here. There was a cat that lives near there that shows up for some food from the people who work there and customers who want to be outside in the nice picnic or seating area to watch sunset.

Hotel was very clean Rooms are a great size and very clean, staff was very helpful and nice breakfast was good the Best Western Plus was in a great location. Everything overall was amazing and I will definitely be back to stay here again.

The hotel was very clean, they upgraded the room to a suite, which was great! My husband is in a wheelchair and he had plenty of room. The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was great, there was a lot to choose from. We would definitely stay there again.

Best Western Plus is the place to stay. I recommend it highly. The room was very attractive, clean & spacious. The breakfast was outstanding. Which hotel offers red & green tamales with all the other breakfast items?

Everything was great except the water pressure in the shower was a little low. The water was also just warm, not hot. The bed was comfortable and the room came with a refrigerator and microwave.

Every time my husband and I visit Ruidoso we stay here. We always feel welcomed. Friendly Staff, rooms are clean and comfortable. Definitely give them 5 stars.

Loved it nice staff rooms have been upgraded to a nice sleeping area and the breakfast was really amazing just that the bathroom has thornw little water and the floor is a little black but I understand why it's like that since they probably haven't changed it but otherwise from that great place and I would highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay for a weekend in Ruidoso! They have the most amazing breakfast! Don't want to sleep through it! They even bring in home made tamales! Great rooms with very friendly staff!

The staff and cleanliness of this hotel were excellent. Breakfast delicious. Everyone spoke, was friendly and made stay a pleasure. Room was nice and it was quiet and restful.

This is a beautiful, new hotel run by a staff of friendly people. We were greeted by Laura, who made us welcome, and then directed us to the best hamburgers in town. Ericka helped us with check out and checking back in when we used our reward points. People we met, remembered our names and greeted us by name each time they saw us. The ladies that cleaned the room, left personal messages that made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was great with standard fare as well tamales and wonderful salsa. Overall, a wonderful experience to end a long road trip.

Stayed June 18-19, 2016, Rose was polite and friendly, room clean, comfortable,. Great place to stay in Ruidoso. And they speak English, just saying,

Probably the most kindest employees I have ever met! They're social and friendly. The hotel room is also very nice. The pay is a bit high but our experience here was lovely. Ruidoso is just a beautiful city.

Love that it is located on a mountain. Great service, nice room, and friendly housekeeping. Also love the indoor swimming pool and little playground outside.

Stayed two days on spring break w family. Nice room, comfortable bed & nice location but they have some issues. Two of the lamps in our room did not work, broken. The A/C takes about 10 mins to kick on. The Wi-Fi connection was not that great, kept getting kick off; At&t cell service is spotty in Ruidoso. Staff was friendly. Beakfast had good options including hot items but they ran out of plates. Seems like they were not prepared for spring break. Value for cost is good!

TERRIBLE HOTEL*** Do not stay here… during a recent trip some my family had to stop because of road closure. They were charged more than DOUBLE what the Website say! They took advantage of the weather. This is terrible customer service not to mention not very ethical business practices. The shower in their room didn't even work… which they courteously deducted $20 for… lol. Very dissatisfied!

I am not too sure if the Best Westerns in Ruidoso area have ever been trained in professional Hotel Management but I would gather NO! I had a bad experience on the phone with a very rude unprofessional front desk clerk at Best Western Pine Spring, so I called Best Western Plus to get some professional help and information. What a laugh. The so called manager here was giving her employees tasks to do while she held the phone, then she gets on and asks me what she could help me with. Not helpful dear at all. You sounded over worked and stressed out and did not even come close to try and help me figure this out. Take some Management classes and some phone etiquette classes, and learn how to treat a guest over the phone. I hate to use the word Ghetto, but that's the feeling I walked away with. No professionalism what so ever.

Rooms are decent, location is fine but probably over-priced. Breakfast wasn't good, microwave eggs in a bag, greasy sausage patties, cereal, waffles and, of course, the dreaded biscuits and gravy. All in all, pretty much whats expected of Ruidoso, not going to find much better. Only reason why i'm giving 1 star and not 3 is because I had about $15 in quarters, my laundry change, stolen out of my suitcase. If you're going to make the mistake and stay here then please lock up everything you have and don't trust housekeeping. Quit unfortunate.

The water pressure is not great. But everything else is.

Low water pressure on shower head, no carpet on stairs. In the middle of december air conditioner running in pool. Windows don't open. Dirty bathroom. Nothing PLUS about this best western.
