Had a unexpected stay here and this is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in New Mexico! (I normally stay at the inn of the mountain gods when in Ruidoso) Check in was easy. Tony at the front desk was extremely helpful in fitting my family of 6 into appropriate accommodations. His customer service and attentiveness was above and beyond and he was knowledgeable. Room was clean! Clean beds! Clean bathroom and shower! Pool was also clean! It is indoors and hot tub was a plus. Breakfast area was clean! With a good selection, options for all members of my family. The entire hotel was clean. Having stayed at plenty of hotels cleanliness in so many areas is often rare and even more rare is the great customer service that went with it. I will now always stay in this hotel when in Ruidoso.

It was great in this cooler weather to have an indoor pool and spa to use, even if the pool was pretty small. The temp was okay — not great but okay — I would guess 80 degrees. The pool hours were pretty good, too; I believe it's 8:30-10 pm. I liked that there were big windows looking out to the forest from the pool room, and a bathroom right across the hall. Breakfast was pretty much what you expect anymore with scrambled eggs both mornings, along with sausage patties one day and ham the other. They have a 24/7 Starbucks coffee machine, which was much appreciated other than at breakfast, but it really makes a cup of coffee too slowly when there's a lot of people waiting to get theirs. Staff was helpful and friendly, room was spacious. I would have preferred a pillow top bed and a choice of pillows instead of 4 all the same (too soft and squishy for my tastes). The window opened, which I personally really like (hate that feeling of only breathing recycled air). There was both a mini-fridge and a microwave, which was nice. The ironing board was in the way of being able to open the luggage rack IN the closet. You either have to move the luggage rack or the ironing board out of the closet to use the luggage rack. There is no fan in the bathroom. Water pressure was good. The key car kept acting up and had to be rekeyed 3 times for a 2 night stay, including once after they gave me a free late checkout.

Excellent service and my clean, the only reason for not giving 5 stars is for k there is no machine of ice on the Floor above.

We went to the pool and it was full of kids as my daughter was going in some kid pull out a sanitary pad still dirty and put it at the edge of the pool, we notify the front desk and she only pick it up and put in the trash. Most of the kids wearing t-shirts making the water look nasty. Rooms are nice though.

This is motel is the best one I've stayed in, in all my years of staying and playing in Ruidoso, they serve breakfast in mourning so you don't even leave hungry, just go and have some fun and the beds are among the best. I will be staying there every time I go to Ruidoso, there prices are the greatest also and I've stayed at some of the best in Las Vegas n. V. And this motel is right up there with some of the best! Enjoy in comfort!

Super super clean rooms carpet cafeteria everything super clean, free of cigarette! The staff very friendly.

Pros: Service was good. Staff was very friendly. Good location. Well lit parking lot. Staff very responsive. Cons: Hot tub was luke warm and very small. One night there were 10 people packed in there and max capacity was 5. Breakfast was below average. Nifty coffee machine, but it was not crowd friendly at all. No waffle/pancake maker as advertised. Weren't prepared for the size of the crowd each morning. Flow was a huge cluster for breakfast. Suite didn't have a dining table. Freezer was broken in mini fridge. Sofa sleeper was broken. They sent someone to fix it, but it remained broken. Hot water in shower kept running out. We travel a lot and I feel bad about this review, but it is what it is. Wish things had been different.

This is a hidden gem! Newly renovated, heated swimming pool. We had a King size and a sofa bed and the room was huge! Very pleased with how clean and nice everything is.

I'm extremely picky when it comes to hotels. This hotel is newly renovated. The suite was super spacious… huge! Double beds, 2 TV's, a large living room with a super clean and comfy sofa! Overall everything was impeccable, clean, comfy and the price was just right! My 2 teens were very pleased as well! Super highly recommended! 2 min drive to Ruidoso Downton and restaurants. Perfectly located!

I was very pleasantly surprised that we liked this place we got two rooms and both were great, clean and looks like its been recently renovated or maybe it's newish. Good location walking distance to some restaurants, clothing and sports stores auto parts store, dollar stores and Walmart too. Definitely would stay here again, even the staff was really nice and good freshly made complemementary coffee 24/7.

Family friendly; >$130/night for family of 6 on a weekend. Nicely remodeled on the inside with solid core wood doors and new room electronic room access keys. Pool and hot tub with wheelchair access to both and open till 10 pm. Front desk called room shortly after check in to inquire of any additional requirements.

Pros: nice comfy beds. Fold out couch was comfy also. Very quiet. Nice and friendly. Nice hot water and good water pressure. Affordable. Good location. Cons: we stayed in a suite for 4 days, and there was no furniture besides bed and couch and tv/tv stand. Plenty of room for a chair and foot stool and desk. Overall, I recommend it.

Clean, remodeled, friendly staff, free Starbucks coffee all day. Plus indoor heated pool and hot tub. Ample variety at breakfast & free Wi-Fi. All the commodities you could ask for, for a nice get away. Will visit again!

Worst Place to Stay! BEWARE. They are scammers! they will charge your credit card without your knowledge for things you didn't take or things you didn't damage. Location is bad, beds were uncomfortable and breakfast was horrible.

It was clean and newly remodeled. The staff was very friendly. I will definitively be staying again! Breakfast was hot and delicious. The coffee was the best hotel coffee I've had. The towels in the bathroom were very soft. The bed was very comfy too.

Best hotel for the price comfortable rooms that is spacious enough for 6 people who is average in size. Pet friendly and has a swimming pool and jacquzzi. First impressions are really good. Good bathrooms which are well maintained. They serve breakfast as well and Wi-Fi is freely available.

Beautiful hotel. Very nice. Great breakfast friendly staff and the pool and hit tub are great. The suites are so nice. I loved staying here and my kids loved it too, they loved the pool. The bed was super comfortable and I didn't want to get out.

This is an excellent hotel in every way. Clean, comfortable rooms (we had two), a delicious breakfast variety and all for an amazing price. The pool was perfect for our grandchildren also.

Hotel is recently remodeled. Indoor pool is nice, breakfast has sausage and eggs. Also a pancake making machine. There is also a Starbucks coffee machine that is complimentary 24 hrs a day. Great place to stay and close to all the important Ruidoso spots.

Everything was great. The staff was very friendly. The room and entire hotel was comfortable and nice, especially since they recently did renovations.

Place looks great after an extensive $4 million remodel. The hotel has fair rates for the area and is a great deal overall, with an indoor pool, jacuzzi, and breakfast with pancakes, sausage patties, instant eggs, yogurt, cereal, juice, and pastries. They also have a 24/7 Starbucks coffee dispenser we made use of the full trip. Will definitely be back again.

This location is easily located off the main thoroughfare. It is nicely finished with updated rooms and amenities including I door pool and hot tub, a nice lobby with ample sitting and device charging, and a small business area. The service has been great a day the staff has been pleasant and available. There is a free continental breakfast, and complementary Starbucks dispenser. A very nice hotel with reasonable room rates for the area.

The hotel staff are completely unhelpful, and did not assist us in our many room problems. We ended up having to leave because they overcharged our room so much, and it was an absolutely horrible experience. Do not stay here unless you want to be completely screwed over.

The rooms were clean but expensive for a quality in. One suite was $200 a night which is more than I care to pay at a Quality Inn.

First time staying in Ruidoso, NM. Rooms were great and remodeled (nothing like photos shown online). Rooms were also very clean and we'll kept with a very comfortable bed. Customer service was great and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

The hotel had been renovated since last time in Ruidoso, the ratings had also drastically improved. We arrived early and check in was not until 3, we had a sick child with us and they found a room that was ready. Above what I expected. The rooms were clean and comfy, although you could tell some of the older spots overall the property was fantastic. Breakfast was great, pool was clean and staff was superb.

The recent updates were appreciated and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room I stayed in was big and seemed to have been remodeled recently. The microwave was so loud. I tried to charge a can of ice tea and a bottle of water to my room, but the girl said cash only. I tried to pay with credit card, but the girl said cash only. She was pretty rude as if I was already supposed to know that. At least they have ice water in the cafeteria area for their guests. I travel for work and have stayed in my fair share of hotels and motels. This was the first time the vending area in a motel was cash only! Welcome to the 21st century people. How do you like it here in America?

We stayed on December 6, 2015. Absolutely beautiful room and accommodations. Great staff. Rare find. Great rate… for once we felt like we got more than we payed for. Definitely will stay again. Highly recommend!

The quality of service you receive here is a joke. Management is very rude, bathrooms are falling apart, beds are old, pillows are half the size a normal pillow should be, there is not enough towels in the bathroom, and beware your peep hole on your door to your room may be nonexistent. We had to put toilet paper in ours so nobody could see into our room (we were lucky our 14 year old son noticed). They claim to be a pet friendly hotel, but their not. Natalie (the front desk worker) does not like kids and will be sure to let you know everything they are doing wrong in her opinion! Last but not least… we were accused of smoking in our room and they tried to bill our card (without our knowledge) a $250.00 smoking fee in room. I found this out when I went to check out. There are cameras surrounding this hotel and once again "Natalie" saw my husband and I stepping outside all evening and early the next morning to smoke. After I demanded them to review their hotel camera footage to see we had been honoring their "no smoking policy" did their demeanor/attitude change! They knew they were wrong and were just trying to rob innocent people of their money! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! Sure the price is very reasonable… being there is an indoor heated pool, but I promise you can get a better hotel that is pet friendly with an indoor pool for about $10.00 bucks more in Ruidoso. Don't experience the same hellish nightmare we had here!

Bright and spacious rooms, clean, tidy and comfortable. Looked up at the sky with stars, as if hand will pick the stars, window static around the empty can hear their own heartbeat, has never had the feeling, as if in another world, back to the beginning of time.

We made reservations with this establishment in the past and have been satisfied with the services until recently when we tried to cancel our reservations. We booked our reservations through the internet and proceeded to try to contact (2 days before the reservation) the management staff to cancel our one night reservation. Both the management staff and employees told us we could not call and cancel via the phone. We got on line to cancel at that point we could not find a way to cancel this reservation. It was very frustrating considering we spent 2 hours total calling the staff, manager, and owner all of which would not help us cancel our reservation The phone continued to ring or was busy for a total of 30 minutes. Very bad customer service for a hotel-we would not recommend this hotel. You can find a better hotel for the same amount within the area.
