List of issues: broken elevator, loose tiles in bathroom, no shaving cream, given empty shampoo bottle, multiple hair dryers that quit, failure of staff be responsive at front desk (multiple rings) and inform us we had to request kitchen supplies on check in, A/C not adjustable (if it's too cold, unplug). They say they have breakfast — consists entirely of packets of oatmeal and granola bars. No cereal, fruit, juice, pastries, eggs, etc. There was a sign for toppings, but no toppings. Coffee was cold (at ~630a). They should not advertise there is breakfast, unless packets of sugar are considered a meal. Each thing by itself is not a big deal. But the holistic picture is this place is massively mismanaged, and a shitshow as a result. Ended up having a great time in New Mexico anyway, o/w this hotel exp would have left me burning with outrage. But my expectations were low, I liked the space/layout in the room, and I got decent sleep (partner said bed too soft, I didn't mind). So if you aren't big on frills and just need a cheap place to rest your head, this place might work for you. If you're looking for accommodations/service exceeding a dingy motel, don't walk — run away. It's a shame, could have been a nice property.

Absolutely the nicest extended stay we've ever stayed at, really nice and reasonable for what you get. Full sized refrigerator and kitchen soft comfortable beds lovely staff.

Its a good place but they do not accept any kind of company checks. They use to before but all of a sudden we were told they never accepted checks before so we dicided to pay cash and that also was not allowed they said cards only. So after this I will inform the whole company that chackes are not acceptable and we need to find another place to go that will accept company checks.

Rooms are small. They definitely don't change the pillow cases, there was hair on one of our pillows. Breakfast was a joke. The street that the hotel is on is busy and a popular place for street racing. We were awoken several times because of it. The staff was nice, but just not overall impressed with the place.

Very nice suites, and exceptionally clean! Just know that there is no ice machine, and that the room will not have glasses. However, with a full size refrigerator, you can make your own ice, and it is easy enough to pick up a couple of cups from the dollar store.

We stay here often. It is a great value. Rooms are big, bed is comfy enough, and the staff is always pleasant. Way cheaper than similar hotels. Priceline deal works for us.

For the price the place worked. It was clean and quiet. The dishwasher liked like it had seen a party or 2 but it wasn't needed during this stay.

Especially grateful for 60 day special rate. The staff here make you feel welcome and take excellent care of the grounds. Job well done … all love.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 months and the housekeeper never cleaned my room and had another guest walk into my room when I was in my undies… Switch rooms to have a clean room and was woking up every other day by the front desk about checking out after I paid a week in advance then housekeeping came at 830 on the dot on Sunday mornings to clean asked for them to come back later so I could get everyone up and No… Had to go down stairs every day to get my key reprogrammed then the manager went in my room and said I had to much stuff and the housekeeper couldn't clean … ya right I used to be a housekeeper at a hotel chain and so I was tired of the harassment and checked out I was charger 112 plus chance for deep cleaning charges because they say I left it to dirty ya right…

The room was ok the little kitchenette area was good size and had microwave fridge and and dishwasher. They said They had breakfast but one of thevmirnings they didn't put anything out. The key cards didn't work very well very annoying.

Nice place to stay while in Albuquerque. Rooms are nice but could be a little more clean. Shower was the worst thing about the room. Spray was not strong. I would stay here again for sure.

This place has no customer service. I booked a room 2 weeks ago I'm from out of town and they called me and told me they had to cancel my reservation for today, and there reason was due to the people in my room extended their stay, now my question is "how is that my fault"? Now my family and I have to find a place to stay! I wish I could give no stars. Beware of booking here!

It was wonderful and I would like to let everyone know that the young lady n the front desk she works mostly graveyard she is a wonderful lady made me and my family feel really comfortable and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who has to stay anywhere in the Rio Rancho area and ask for Tammy she is wonderful.

This hotel was very clean and staff was very polite. When I open the door to our room it was almost like walking into a studio apartment. The rooms on the bottom floor are very nice and roomy and have a refrigerator, dishwasher, a microwave oven and a 2 — burner cook top. I was impressed with the dishwasher since I've never seen one in a hotel/motel room before. Since this was my first stay, I am not sure what the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms are like and whether or not they are comparable to the rooms downstairs. But overall this is a superb place to stay if you're visiting the Rio Rancho New Mexico area.

We couldn't leave fast enough. Only stayed one night paid way to much on a deal (not a deal at all). When we were going in to get to our room the hall smelled very strong of weed which wouldn't bother us but we had 3 kids with us. Then the first room we got had a very strong strange odor that smelled like weed, smoke then someone try to clean it and smell like chemicals it was enough to give us a instant headache, we asked to be moved rooms the 2nd room had someone in there so we had to go to a 3rd room which wasn't much better there was hair from a razor in the drawers cigarette burns on the carpet. Heater would blast cold then very hot and you couldn't control it. Someone was fighting and stomping around above us all night so we didn't sleep at all. Cops were there trying to catch someone that kept trying to break into one of the rooms by the original room we we're going to have. No coffee maker in room you have to go get one but we weren't given any cups creamer or anything it was already 11 by the time we got to just settle down into a room. The front desk girl was very nice and did her best to accommodate us. We had only booked the one night to check it out and possibly stay a few weeks thank God we didn't you can go to the Hilton next door for what we paid.

Do not expect a worm welcome and add a touch of racism. If you are not cultured like the one behind the desk you will be treated badly.

The lack of customer service is unbelievable. Not very accommodating or friendly in trying to resolve any issues. We will definitely never stay here again and I would recommend anyone who thinks about staying here to reconsider.

A fabulous home away from home. Teresa is amazing! I very much appreciated how comfortable I was during my several month stay for work.

This property is we'll located. However, it is not very clean. The refrigerator in one of the rooms had a sticky mess inside, there were things on the floor the vacuum missed (anyone missing a false fingernail? ) and there was hair in one of the beds. Add to that the stale smell and cockroach in the bathroom… and this is not a property I would highly recommend. The highlight was a very nice desk clerk, Shannon, who was pleasant, helpful and efficient.

Paid over $2000 to be here while i'm moving to the area. Had a great experience until I put some towels outside my room as room service was on their way to do my weekly cleaning. The manager pounded on my door and told me there would be a $5 charge for that. What?!?! I won't be back. It's a shame, the rest of the staff has been really great.

I recently stayed here while in town visiting. I was very pleased with my room, the hotel was very clean. Not only that the free breakfast in the morning was great. I especially was happy with the manager Teresa and the friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again when I'm back in the area. Thank you Extended Stay America for a pleasant stay.

Best hotel I've stayed at the staff was excellent the rooms we're exceptionally clean cleaning staff was very helpful in making me feel right at home providing me with any amenities I needed to enjoy my stay there. I know if I travel back to Rio Rancho I'll be staying at the extended stay hotel at only this location. The rooms are very affordable and well updated. Walking into my room I felt like my own personal condo with a decent size kitchen very comfortable bed great location too easily accessible to the main road. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good night sleep a home away from home.
