Idk if it's because of the season but there are so many mosquitoes/ flies flying all around but besides the room is pretty good. The bed isnt the best but its something. I like it personally just the bugs bothered me. It's also very spacious.

Not what I expected. I booked through Experian, so I guess that means you get the bottom of the barrel rooms that have not been renovated. The staff was very friendly during check-in but the room was very dated — maybe like 50 years or so. The rooms showed cracks in corners and seams that maybe a little bit of caulking could make better. Expect a lot of train noise and horns throughout the night as this is close to the tracks. I knew that ahead of time, so my bad. The worst part of the stay was the large spider my wife encountered in the bathroom that obviously has free reign through cracks in the wall. I didn't mention it to the staff as I figured they would tell me, "Oh, we spray for pests all the time. "

Pleasantly surprised for the price. Nice rooms goo amenities and close to other stuff.

Definitely an older hotel but they have tried to clean it up. King bed was comfortable and room and shower were clean. My young daughter enjoyed the small indoor pool. The price was very reasonable. The staff at the front were very kind and welcoming. Very close to the train tracks and can be startling. Would stay again.

The room was ok, the staff was friendly, breakfast was good. The toilet wouldn't stop running and the in room iron had a burr that snagged and messed up a shirt… I should have checked lol.

Awesome there it has a game area and a bar. It is so cool.

Look, I understand the location's not all that great to begin with… (I mean… Clovis, New Mexico… nuff said) but no Wi-Fi and old furniture… I guess it's an okay place to crash for a few hours, but not much else.

Great service, good clean rooms, it's a little dated and worn, but it's not $120/night either. Safe and comfortable.

Paid $69 taxes and all, the best $69 dollars I have ever spent so far. The hotel is super clean, right off the interstate so easy to park since I'm in a moving truck and pulling a car trailer. They have a decent gym for the price you pay, free internet. For breakfast they serve buffet hot plate. This place has a decent clean bar and beer prices are below avg and the pool table cost 50 cent per game, plus its close to food venues.

In one word, weird. Like stepping back into the 1970's. Very, very strange layout. But not super uncomfortable, and for the price had a decent nights rest. Horrible "full breakfast, " Definitely plan for continental instead.

Very low budget room, says newly renovated on the sign and it looks like a 5 year old did the remodeling. Everything is cheap in the hotel room. Would be very nice if someone actually cared what it looked like.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Room was old BUT very comfortable. The front desk help could have been MORE friendly. Bless them for they know not what they do.

Went there last night and the girl at the front desk questioned where my wife lived and said that they didn't accept my Visa bank card. She said she wasn't going to accept it cus she has never seen one like it then said they don't accept cash. Really, who doesn't accept cash or a valid bank card. I go to Clovis to visit my kids so they just lost a customer.

Room had an odd smell but our stay was very nice. Decent breakfast with hot options and great housekeeping. Would recommend.

The security guard Glenn has made inappropriate comments to my girlfriend saying things like. "You're a bad girl", "you need a spanking". Immediately after check-in he drove by our room making more comments in the manner previously stated. This obviously is a threat and behaviour of a sexual predator. Definitely not safe or secure with a 50 year old meth addict making disgusting advances even when told to leave us alone.

Rude doesn't seem to know their customers are their money. Ted seems to have a problem With black customers, which is a shame because BNSF is paying good money for equal treatment of all their employers.

Not great, but for the price it's good. They have a bar which is nice.

It was great I loved it. Wish they had a heated pool.

Great hotel, friendly staff, good rates. The rooms themself have comfortable beds, flatscreens, comfortable chairs and a small desk. It was nice and quiet at night, you can hear some trains but it wasn't enough to bother me. Now the hotel does need a facelift, but it was clean wherever you went. Just some minor blemishes here and there. They do offer breakfast but I don't do hotel breakfasts so I don't know how good or bad it was. I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times and will go back again next time I'm in Clovis.

Went for a wedding reception. Food was great, venue was the perfect size and staff were very attentive to our needs.

Nice hotel for the price, you can tell recently renovated. Will stay there again. Game room, bar, and pool.

Very pleased with our stay at this Days Inn. We had 5 rooms of youth kids and adults. They were helpful in putting us all together near the back of the hotel. The hotel staff was great! We had a problem with one of the rooms and the front desk had us switched out and fixed in less than two minutes. They have two rooms available that apparently used to be two separate rooms that they cut an archway in and is now this amazing 2 room suite with 3 queen beds, one fold out sofa, Two full bathrooms which was Amazing with 2 adults, two teens and 3 kids in the room! They were great to show us a large area near the pool where the kids could hang out, they also have an arcade. Breakfast was good with a waffle maker, egg and cheese mini omelets, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, fruit, yogurt, breads, cereals and all the fixings. Yes, the place is old and you can see that in areas but it was clean and updated in all the areas you want it to be, the beds were comfortable and it had everything you would need. It seemed to have nice conference areas available though we didn't use them. I would definitely recommend this Days Inn during your travels and would stay here again.

Well they inconvenienced us with not having our room ready and the manager is not that pleasant to speak with be told me to deal with not having our room ready or go to another hotel. He discounted my rooms by $5.00 big whoop. Anyway experience was just ok. Please change your management.

I decided to give the place a chance and wait until after 10 pm to rate it. This is our second night. First night was reasonable, but the walls are obviously paper thin. It seems like several clans of hill people have taken the rooms around us today and have been tearing the place up all day, even setting up a makeshift camp in the parking lot. Not a big deal during the day, but I won't be into it so much as the night wears on. Let's see how the night goes. UPDATE: The night went ok, the hill people quieted down and went to sleep. They are up early slamming things again though, so I'm awake. Rating and review stands. It's a poorly built hotel. I've stayed in similar quality and priced places where a family w/5 kids were next door and we didn't hear a thing. Proper construction materials and insulation go a long way.

If you are death, you will be fine. Non stop noise, like compressor or something. We asked for a room way from the road and trains, we had it. It was impossible to sleep even with earpluggs. Service is good. Breakfast was not bad for the price of hotel, coffee very week. I called Holiday in, around 10 pm on on 04.27, woman was not happy to be bothered, had no idea about AAA prices or what good customer service is. Avoid this town, if you can.

Excellent deal. Clean rooms. Friendly. Breakfast was more than just cereal and bagels. Train only woke my wife. Kids and I slept through it.

Not quite worth the $84 we paid for the room… Bathroom didn't have a fan which made it stuffy, non-working/very little outlets available, not the greatest Wi-Fi, and a large gap under the door allowed a cricket to make it's way into our room in the middle of the night. At least the beds were comfortable?

I held my retirement ceremony here two weeks ago. It is the nicest location for this in Clovis NM. Mr. Ted was spot on with helping me plan and execute my ceremony and the dinner afterwards. He gave us great advice, upgraded our room for the night for free, the dinner was excellent, they helped with everything. The rooms themselves are a bit dated, but I live here and would expect nothing less. This place was recently bought out and you can tell the new owners are trying to update things that will maximize their returns first. The back court yard is getting updated right now. It is going to look great. The bar was one of two in town and I have to say way classier than Kelly's. I had a bunch of changes with those coming and then not coming and never did I feel the staff could not accommodate. I am very very satisfied. I am still getting comments on the food we were served. The gentleman who was our host was everywhere I swear. He was cleaning, serving, refreshing, he was amazing. I would recommend dealing with them again.

Owned by Mexicans and if ur not one they have bad manners toward u no matter what other kind of races u might be would not recommend to any one.

Not the best hotel in town, but not the worst, either. The clerk wouldn't budge on the checkout time and completely failed to mention the VERY loud class reunion taking place at this ex-Holiday Inn. The tiny pool was a huge disappointment, as was the breakfast. The beds were nice enough, and the room was clean but aged; the jacuzzi-tub mentioned in the ad was nowhere to be found, though our suite did have two bathrooms. My family of five stayed in an upstairs "two-room" suite with three queen-size beds. I'm really not sure if I would ever stay here again.

Made reservation March 2010. Arrived June 2010. Asked for King, non smoking, downstairs, tried to put us in upstairs two queens smoking. Finally after more than 1/2 hour found "suite", gave us key, used key in lock and another guy was in the room. He had checked in 1/2 hour ago. Had to go back to front desk, got another room, bugs in window, light fixture falling off in bathroom. No wireless internet. Said they were working on it but the 800 number had said no contract didn't know what they were doing. Asked for ethernet cord, told didn't have one. Hallways dirty, lots of landscaping going on, but they need to show people how to clean. Train noise constant, really didn't care if you were there or not as hotel is not American owned. Big crack under door for bugs and other things to come into your room. You can hear the people in the room next to you.

My fiance and I travel for a living. We started staying at this hotel in September 2009 and just left in the middle of January. We had a 2 room suite, which was much like a 1 bedroom apartment. They are in the process of renovating the hotel, and trying to make it nice, but they arent doing a very good job. We started staying in room 221 and water went through to the bedroom from the bathroom and the floor was always soaked. We then moved to room 247 which has a HUGE space under the door so your room is always freezing and in the summer the flies get into your room. There isnt good insulation, and you can hear conversations of the people in the rooms all around you. The shower didnt get very hot in that room either, and the heat in the bedroom didnt work, so we had to move AGAIN! The last room we had was 208. It wasnt so bad, but we found rodent feces underneath the wetbar in the cabinets where we kept our food. They were going to make us switch rooms for a night because the last time we left for the weekend the manager told us he made our reservation for our return, but no reservation was made. Think about how difficult it is to switch rooms for one night when you have a toddler, and many belongings with you. Just not a pleasant experience for us at all.
