If you are looking for a place to stay and I were you I would definately keep driving and avoid this place at all costs! Manager Sam is super disrespectful and rude, and has absolutely 0 people or customer service skills. If I could leave 0 stars I would. We have stayed the a couple times (booked by our coach) and every time someone in our group has a horrible experience. When we first got there the room next to us the toilet got backed up so we called the front office to come with a plunger, this did not happen without a long wait along with attitude and rude comments. We were then staying in the room with the backed up toilet got there at 9 pm 2 people only used the toilet to pee it then backed up so we called front office. Come midnight no one was coming. Kept calling, no answer. Finally around 1230am someone answered we were told to fill the trash can with hot water and put in the toilet, it did not work. When we turned on the water to fill the trash can a bunch of black stuff came out with the water. Called again and again no one came. Finally got a hold of them at 130am explaining to them 1. We were going to need the toilet, and 2. Were we're tired and wanted to get to bed. Finally around 145am the manager SAM came in he didn't even have enough decency to lift the toilet seat to plung the toilet.

Absolute worst customer service! We arrived at 8:00 pm on Friday night and let the front desk know our toilet was not working. The front desk said they sent someone to our room and no one ever showed up. Called the front desk AGAIN around 10:00pm and Sam, the manager of the hotel, didn't come until 1:30am. He then proceeded to "fix" the toilet while splashing toilet water all around the bathroom. Refused to clean it up himself and made us, the guest, go to the front and get Clorox wipes from him to clean it up ourselves. Continued to say "Our hotel is not 24 hour service, I cant help you. " Fast forward to the following day, after the maids came in while we were gone, we notice one of our Apple Watch chargers is no longer plugged in to the outlet and is now missing. The only people in our room were the ones staying and the maids… WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS TRAVELODGE EVER AGAIN!

Absolute garbage booked a room and they didn't actually reserve it but took the CC information. The clerk had an awful attitude and slammed his hand down and yelled at us for being upset. Dont bother with this place it's not worth it and there are cheaper/nicer hotels with much friendlier staff within a mile.

My was room comfortable and clean. The trains passing by blaring their horn and the nest of birds chirping all night I could have done without. Nothing on the hotel. They're pretty spot on and the price isn't bad. But be aware that there is a road crossing near by and the trains are required to sound their horns, even at 2, 3, and 4 am.

Rented a room for 3 or 4 days. Got the card key and the first room was trashed like a bumch of bums were living in it. 2nd room, non smoking, had recently been smoked in. Almost as if the hpuse keeper was smoking in the bathroom. Im a smoker but I smoke outdoors. So I went back to the office & asked for a new room and he "upgraded" me to a king, I had already reserved a king, so no upgrade. I was upset, did a quick glance in the room and accepted the room. Went to Wal-Mart gor snacks & swim trunks for my son, came back and noticed the fitted sheet was not even on the bed ccortectly & the top sheet was all wrinkled like they didnt even put clean sheets on. Phones the office, they argued with me saying "you accepted the room out of the other 2 so its gonna stay that way cause house keeping was gone" it was only 12pm… so I asked if I can just have new bedsimg and I'd do it myself, they argued and I said I didnt see why this has to be such a problem, you're the owners just please get your keys and bring me fresh bedding please. Lol the owner came with sheets and a maintence man. I took the sheets off and was puting the "new" sheets on amd he kept trying to do it for me and I got upset cause it had already been such a bed experience I told him "i know how to put sheets on a bed, ibe also worked at a Hilton, I can do this on my own please leave. I cant belive how you're making a big deal over sheets.

Old and showed it. Great if you like listening to train whistles all night long. Had to wake management at 0710 for breakfast which was supposed to start at 0600. Needless to say it was the day before"s stale bread priducts. You get what you pay for.

Well first off management was rude about the problems that we had. We had no hot water in the shower and after an hour of trying to get them to give us another room or our money back they came in the room and told us that the hot and cold or backwards. When it comes to the free breakfast there was none. Second. We were charged twice for the room and it's going to take almost a week before they can give us our money back. And with these problems that we had they were very rude to US during all of this. Do not recommend this place at all stay away if you would like to have a relaxing night and a hot shower.

Room smelt like old water or Dirt. Something gross. It was super hot there but didn't smell in the room when the ac was on, so we had to leave our on. Their breakfast was good and everything was clean. Stayed there 2 days, their cleaning staff was rude and didn't take our trash out.

Room had bed bugs when my team visited, we had to move to a different hotel to stay in. Biscuits tasted bland and looked like it stayed there for a few days. Not a place to find satisfaction in comfort or luxury.

The room was nice and clean. We got in late and was tired of driving all day so we went straight to bed. When I went to get us some breakfast from the free continental breakfast (as is 2 donuts and 2 muffins, 2 cups of coffee) for my husband and me. As I was walking toward the door the lady informed me that I can not take my breakfast to my room, I have to eat it in there little serving room. So I threw it away. Went to McDonalds and took THAT to my room. I don't know of any logical reasoning behind there rule at all.

Great, nice & clean room for just $45/single! No cigarette odor at all. Free breakfast, comfortable bed, very cute furniture/bedding, carpet was clean, nice bathroom, nice building, & very nice people, I would stay again!

I always stay at Travelodge while passing through. The rooms are clean and staff is very friendly. I appreciate the price for the stay along with the breakfast in the morning.

Decent, but basic. We had three beds, so that was nice. The breakfast was very basic. Cereal, oatmeal, waffles, biscuits, and apple juice.

Very nice owners. Would stay again but would bring my own pillows next time.

We were stuck in this tip of the bible belt hell hole for a week, doing gov contract work. Only a handful of restaurants served alcohol, as apparently the local piety have took it upon themselves to make sure everyone here is miserable. When we arrived at 3am the door was locked and we had to call the number to wake up the manager (which I can hardly fault him for). Birds have nests on the walls of the walkway and frequently fluttered by my head any time I walked to or from the office, where they also perch on the exterior light sconces. It looked like they had attempted to renovate my room several times. It had one window that didn't open (probably for the best). There were two door frames; one in, one out, though the door rests on the inside one. There were two trash cans next to each other when I arrived. There was no extension cord and the outlets were only at ground level. The Wi-Fi was agonizingly slow and I ended up using my phone as a hot spot because it was 3 times faster and there was nowhere to plug in directly. The a/c unit looked like it was about to fall out of the wall, though it worked fine (and noisily). There were dents, scrapes, and boogers on the wall. The "closet" shelving looked like it was made out of spare parts from a home depot run. The knob on my sink wasn't attached and twirled loosely unless you grabbed it right.

Nice older place, clean and quite. Will stay again next time I am in Clovis.

We were comfortable, but the hotel was next to a train track that had a busy train schedule all night and we were often awoken by the train's constant air horn honking. The breakfast wasn't open till 6:15am although it was clearly posted to be ready by 6am. We had to ring a door bell that seemed to have awoken the owner who looked like he rolled out of bed and made his way to get the "breakfast" going. There wasn't an acknowledgement on being late or his sloppy appearance either. We just left without eating since it all looked unappetizing. Overall, if you are a heavy sleeper or have great ear plugs, don't mind eating whatever, and are on a budget… this could work for you.

The staff was very nice but the rooms are old looking. The room I was in 115 the mattress was completely worn out. It was still worth the stay since it was so cheap. Save your money or spend a little bit more and get what you pay for but there are better motels.

Thought the room looked pretty good but discovered that the small amenities (lotion, shampoo, etc. ) had to be requested and picked up at office instead of in the room. Office was located a fairly long distance from the room as well, which made it inconvenient. Overflow drain in tub was circled by mold and noticed dead bugs in the bathroom and ants all over nightstand by beds and consequently, in drinks stirring on nightstand. Also, couple of the bed pillows were worn and soiled, Worst were the loud trains going by and sounding their whistles constantly day and night.

The room was very clean the price was good and there was plenty of channels to select from on the TV. That's the best I can say. The Wi-Fi most of the time did not work. The heater in the room blew out cold air only. They advertise a free breakfast till 9:30. We showed up at 9:00 and the guy at the desk stated not enough people in the motel to make breakfast.

I booked this hotel through Travelocity because it was reasonably priced. When I got here the lady took my I. D. ONLY an have me the room key. As soon as we walked in the room it stunk like mildew and there was dead bugs on the windowsill. The ac unit is the back of the room by the bathroom with a pointless wall blocking most of its air flow to the rest of the room. When your turn the unit on it smells like pee. We left the unit on an left to go get food. We came back barley 30 mins later An it didn't even cool down the room. So we went up the front office to ask to them for a refund an the night manger or worker said that he doesn't give a refunds. When I demanded he show me the paperwork that says that he doesn't give refunds when we barley even had a room he said that I would have to call Travelocity an have then give me a refund since they charged my card. Well needless to say I was beyond kisses at this point an I called Travelocity an they said they will call the hotel an see what was going on an she told us the hotel was supposed to charge my card an give the refund. She also told us that he said that room smelled fine an it was a cool 70℉ an super clean. So she is going to file a report against that hotel an get my money refunded back. do not stay here!

My husband and I enjoyed it alot the bed was way toooo comfortable… best bed ever. We had no problems with insects or the train bothering us. Service was great the whole room nice n clean. The shower was also amazing… Definitely recommend ppl to stay here. Joel and Lisa Ulibarri.

Do not stay here! if you actually want to sleep. It is directly acros from a train tack and you get woken up ever hour from the trains blowing their horns. That aside… The room was very nice, clean, simple and the staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable!

The beds were uncomfortable, and the water was orange. Somehow the sinks were plumbed backwards, and the cold knob gave boiling-hot water.

Never have had a problem at this hotel. I stay here every time I'm work in Clovis the owner is very nice and the rooms are great.

Horrible service. Spiders everywhere. Manager and owner very rude and not helpful. Rooms dirty and infested with insects. Manager threatened my family with a golf club. Very unprofessional and would never consider any family to stay here. Please stay far away from here as possible. Stay safe and sleep well.

Horrible experience! Room is full l of spiders! ants! on walls and furniture Manager is very unprofessional and insulting! Blaming guest for their uncleanness! Refusing to refund our money back! to the point of chasing us with a rod and telling us in Spanish " vallanse a la miedra! DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! STAY AWAY! NOT CLEAN AT ALL! Only his wife is professional and friendly!

The staff was very nice. The rooms are huge it has a kitchen of its own and the bathroom is huge I love the beds a lot too great place to stay (:.
