Oooofff 2.9 stars out of 5? That's not good! Motel 6s have better numbers. Guess I'll post a bad review along with these other bad reviews. That's a shame. The hotel is nice enough and clean. WAAAAAYY too strong and too many chemicals being used to clean though. I had to open the window in our room because the smell was so strong. I'm not even that sensitive to fragrances etc. If you are, you definitely can't stay here. My room was already paid for by the casino because I'm a performer. A multi million dollar casino but I was still made to give a "deposit" for incidentals. I'd recently got a fraud block on my card bc of identity theft type activity and haven't received the new one yet. Normally my rooms are paid for and I'm not made to pay anything additional especially when they have the financial info for the entity that paid for the room. So they made me give a $200 CASH deposit. I asked the girl writing it "this is notated on my account right? " She said "no you have to keep the receipt or we won't be able to refund it" The receipt was the hand written kind that a child might use at a lemonade stand. Luckily I didn't lose it. The hotel is loud because its right by a very loud road. There was a team of teenagers staying there who were super loud the whole time. Seemingly nothing was done. We had hoped to relax the next morning in the hot tub but that was evidently broken as it was drained dry. Upon checkout we asked for our $200 cash back so they went to "inspect" the room. My girlfriend, being the kind soul she is, had stripped all the linens and piled them all up just to be nice. We had used a wash cloth to clean some shoes that had gotten dusty dirty. We were told that the wash cloth was "not cleanable" and they deducted $10 from our deposit. The towels here aren't nice. They aren't awful but this isn't the Hilton or even close. A wash cloth doesn't cost them $10 and more importantly, when did it become against the rules to get a wash cloth dirty? The wash cloth was absolutely 100% clean-able. The whole thing was absurd. It was dust and dirt not paint or chemicals. I have them the opportunity to give me my $10 back and asked if that $10 was worth the review I'd write. They stuck to their guns so here we are. I asked if we could be credited $10 for the hot tub not working or the hotel being super loud with tweens running the halls. They declined. Brittany (the wash cloth) police wasn't polite at all but the manager with the neck tattoo seemed like a nice guy. All in all, pretty awful experience. I definitely will not stay again and I'll definitely tell the casino folks who probably do thousands of dollars a year of business with them, what kind of stay I had. Hope all that is worth $10.
