We stayed 5 nights at Days Inn in Bernalillo the first part of October, 2010. After a 14hr drive with only 2 hours of sleep, we couldn't wait to get there, take a shower, and freshen up! When we arrived, apparently there was a problem with the water. It was brown and mucky coming out of the shower, sink, and toilet. We were told it should be fixed by 11pm that night. So. No shower, couldn't use the toilet, couldn't brush our teeth or wash up, as it was never rectified. Woke up the next day to absolutely NO water in the entire hotel! We had to leave early that morning without a shower again, no brushing our teeth, no using the toilet. EXTREMELY disappointed and miserable! The hotel didn't even provide drinking water and did nothing to help the guests! We had to use gas stations to use the toilet, wash our face, brush our teeth. What an experience! Of the 5 nights we stayed, only 2 nights did housekeeping provide soap, shampoo, or cups. We had to go to the front desk to ask for these items. I have been trying to contact the owner of this establishment for over 1 month now with no success. I have dealt with customer service only, as the owner refuses to contact me or compensate in any way. This is very unacceptable and as a result I would never stay there again. The staff were very nice, the rooms were clean, but no safes with keys, as advertised, and no drapes to close for privacy. I have stayed in MANY hotels but have never stayed at one that refused to compensate for the service that was never provided. . It would have been nice.
