It was very komfortabel. Only problem was I needed a walk-in shower, & One was't available.

Pretty new quite an has truck parking.

Quiet, very spacious comfortable rooms with advertised amenities. Best $$$ value. Easy to locate in Artesia; central to most area attractions. 4/5 stars because there weren't any USB outlets for the electronics that we needed to charge simultaneously. I would still stay here, just bring a larger charging station.

This is a nice, new property located in a charming little oil field town located an easy 50 mile drive from Carlsbad Caverns. There were lots of friendly guests with kids excited about going to the Caverns, but the rooms were quiet and very fresh and clean. We've decided to start looking for these new LQ hotels located in smaller towns a little off the beaten path because they're so much nicer than the old ones.

First family vacation, last stop was La Quinta in Artesia. First of all, the town of Artesia is a hidden gem! Such a treasure, pretty town, very artsy, polite townfolk, and just all around GREATNESS! Second of all, La Quinta made our choice for lodging during part of our family vacation more than well worth it! Friendly, helpful, and great staff. From front desk staff to housekeeping, everyone made our stay comfortable while away from home. Great amenities, great breakfast service. Because of the amazing staff/town and experience… we signed up for the La Quinta Returns Rewards program! Seriously recommend anyone looking for a place to room while in the area, to choose La Quinta Artesia!

I would give zero stars if it gave me the choice. The janitor at the hotel was extremely inappropriate, enough that police were called. He came in after hours with beer and sat in the pool area photographing my young children in their swim suits. The manager did absolutely nothing to help, he said he would be back in the morning to make things right and never showed. His wife was being extremely rude when I asked for a refund. She said “there’s no proof” and “nothing was wrong”. Police were called and a report was made yet there’s no proof? An old man was taking pictures of little kids in their swim suits and nothing is wrong? I don’t recommend coming to this place, especially if you have young children.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always great. I really liked how the hot foods varied day to day. Our room was very clean. If we are ever travelling through the area again we will definitely be staying here.

Rude! Horrible front desk service! Manager not helpful at all even after his front desk clerk used a racial slur! After that no maid service for 3 days! Went to ask for clean towels and got her attitude again! We had been there several times prior to this! Rooms were great and all staff except the front desk clerk were friendly! Will never go back!

Excelente hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. My girlfriends and I took a road trip to the Carlsbad caverns and spent one night there. Beds are super comfortable and breakfast in the morning was great. Recommend!

A comfortable stay, with great beds and three different firmness levels for the pillows. Shower head has a few different settings to choose from. Breakfast could have used a couple more hot items, but I did appreciate the selection of healthier choices. There are complimentary chocolate chip cookies at check-in. The fitness center was pretty fully-featured and I was able to get in a good workout even on vacation. I didn't get to use the pool, as it seemed pretty full, but that's not the hotel's fault. I'm saying this as a hotelier myself, the staff did a fantastic job and I look forward to coming back again.

The room was very clean and bed was comfortable felt like home. The breakfast was amazing and the variety there is for breakfast was awesome. There is a gym and an indoor pool with a Jacuzzi. We would definitely stay there again and was not hard to find.

Checking in was very fast and smooth. Very great and pleasant staff I must say. Breakfast has good options. The food looks and tastes fresh. The room I stayes in was very clean and so was the rest room. The hotel is in a good location. There are plenty of restaurants near by and grocery shops walking distance. The bed is very comfortable. I just happened to experience some heavy noise last night coming from the main lobby while I was in my bedroom in the second floor. There was a group of kids part of a school trip or something and they were making lotta noise. Even co workers in the 3rd floor were able to hear the noise and the running in the hall ways. The gym is pretty decent for its size. The pool… scratch that. It is infested with children.

Room was clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was more than adequate. Hotel was centrally located for our site seeing adventures. I would stay again if ever back in the area. Artesia had a number of food options given its size, and you could tell the town takes pride in its community. Wellhead restaurant did not disappoint either. Sonic burgers… believe what you read about it.

For motel class, it is a good choice. Room is clean and I feel like the inn was just remodeling not long ago. Recommend for staying if you plan to go Carlsbad Cavern National Park for a day trip, it takes about one hour and half to drive over there. Affordable room price and an acceptable driving range, and gas price is bit lower in the city of Artesia, NM. I have no idea why but It was true when I visited there during the president day weekend.

Great place. The beds are a little too hard. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. Breakfast was plain and not surprising with very friendly staff. Just wish they'd upgrade the beds. I travel with a cat and I do appreciate them not charging an arm and leg for that. The rooms smell nice and are clean. My only complaint really is just the stiffness of the beds.

I LOVE La Quinta! They love my dogs and don't charge extra. Reasonably priced, great people and service, and BONUS, a real hot and FREE breakfast! Very nice and comfortable rooms. If only ALL dog owners picked up after them, I carry extra bags and pick up other dogs waste as well. Please be a responsible dog owner!

We have stayed here a few times. The hotel is always clean. The cont breakfast is great with a wide variety f items. The staff is accomodating and friendly.

Great staff, clean all around. Walls are a bit "thin" if you know what I mean. But I highly recommend using this hotel. They were VERY accommodating when we had a family get together at the last minute. We will use them again!

Updated and new building with a nice reception area complete with lounge chairs, TVs, and tables. Pool looks good enough but I did not have time to go in. The room was updated and comfortable. And the work out room on the first floor was everything I needed! Weights, treadmill, TV, and ab workout. Great way to start the day. Breakfast was good. Great value.

The rooms were very clean & well stocked. The different workers we spoke with were very friendly & breakfast was delicious.

Very rude manager named Paul. I had drove over 900 miles and got there at 3:15 am. The room was prepaid. When I got there they scanned my card again. I was never told I would be charged an incidental fee. I had the young man get the manager on the phone and we asked for a policy about the incidental fee and he refused to provide one. We also asked him to write something out and sign it stating I would be refunded my money in three to four days. He also refused that. He kept interrupting and would not let me finish a sentence. He then refused me service and threatened to call the cops. I told to him to go ahead and call and he could explain to them why he took my money without telling me and why he was refusing service and not giving me my money back. Needless to say that was Sunday night and this is Wednesday. I have reported him to laquinta inn. I still do not have any of my money back and laquinta has not contacted me like they said they would. I will not be staying at another laquinta inn ever.

Nice rooms, people were nice,

Breakfast was standard, but that's not why I give it 5 stars. Everything was clean, staff were all very nice, everything looked new (remodel done recently? ). Plus, this room cost a lot less than Carlsbad ones did, so 5 stars overall.

We had a pretty decent stay here while in Artesia. I had no issues with my room, but my mom's was a bit dirty on arrival. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was good.

The hotel was nice overall. There were too many chemicals in the hot tub. The cleanliness of the room was slightly below what I would have wanted. The staff was very nice, helpful and efficient.

Great service — stayed at the La Quinta Atesia over the weekend because of car problems. Staff helped us find a service dept for our car and we had a great stay. Can't thank them enough. Breakfast was great. Bed very comfortable. Thanks again. We will stay again.

We had booked rooms at a hotel a couple of blocks down they had sold out and couldn't find my reservation, called the staff at La Quinta and they found us a room with no problem, should've booked there first. Couldn't have had a better stay.

New hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the La Quinta Artesia. I have used this brand in the past and have never been disappointed. Especially enjoyed the pool and sauna. Nice big rooms. Very clean and the front desk staff was very helpful. I will stay here again next time I am in Artesia.

Very clean room! I have very bad allergies and had no problems during my stay! Stayed for business and internet reception was wonderful. Staff was very pleasant and the hotel was in good location.

Family friendly — Busy hotel who took time out to make us feel special. For a small town the La Quinta Artesia was great service. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations. They were great. Also thank you manager for the batteries for my kids games! You were a lifesaver.
