Couldn't sleep. Too much noise. A/C either freeze u or way too hot. Couldn't get comfortable at the Comfort Inn.

One of the newest and best maintained hotels in Artesia. It is close to everything in town. They provide breakfast every morning (eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausage and biscuits and gravy and the normal hotel options everyday). It is the most expensive in town but then again it is the nicest. Maid service does a good job. They have fresh baked cookies every afternoon. Pool is large and clean just like the rooms. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Beware of price. Got best deal we could and then said we wanted to stay two nights. Did not pay attention and the friendly lady did not say that the second day was not the same price. 127.10 first night 197.10 second night. So word of advice read bill you are handed thoroughly before signing. Otherwise this was a nice place.

The location was great surrounded by many convenience stores that were very accessible. The rooms were nice and clean. The service was great as well.

The people are great the hot tub is even better comfortable beds no complaints here.

A little pricey but worth it. Stayed a few weeks here. Pool, hot tub, breakfast, and friendly staff.

My brothers ex — wife works here and I went to pick up their daughter. So I haven't stayed here but the front lobby and breakfast area were nice and clean. There were fresh baked cookies and ice water w/lemon available at the times I've been there.

Always a pleasure great staff. Nothing feels better than feeling welcoming, I highly recommend this daisy's loved hurray a night or from our house to stay and swim but was so much fun.

Great big room! We reserved a King with a sofa bed. Fresh cookies had just been made when we arrived. Yum! Breakfast was also delicious the next day. And the pool was clean as well as the hot tub. We will be back!

We've been here only a couple hours from long drive in and really like our hotels! It's super clean, and rooms are very nice, modern and clean! Employee customer service needs a Lil work, but other than that, super happy with hotel choose. Work out room and pool area was nice, clean as well, and well stocked with towels, with sanitizing towels for equipment. As of now, would defiantly stay again!

A three star stay for a five star price! Our room was clean and well appointed. The check in process was a frustration because of a heat problem that caused us to need to be assigned to another room. There are many signs of “less than clean“ throughout the building. I fully understand that the muddy floors were as a result of it being a motel that caters to the oil well workers. That would’ve been very acceptable at a $75-85 rate but was not acceptable at a $120. It would also have been acceptable if the mud from last evening had been cleaned by this morning — not the case. Glass doors are dirty and dead plants decorate the entry. The frustrating check in process was not totally the fault of the single employee left to manage the entire motel. The pool and hot tub were clean; we enjoyed them very much. There was a good variety of food for breakfast. We had to ask to have a table washed despite the fact that it was early in the breakfast process and there were two people who appeared to be assigned to the area. There was a glaring absence of a skilled manager type of person. This was a disappointment for our usual experience with Comfort Inn and suites, particularly at the high price that we paid. We have travelled 13 days and this was the most that we paid at any property across the USA. Seems that we might’ve expected better than average experience.

This place is a little gem of a hotel in a little gem of a town. The place is very comfortable, the staff is amazingly friendly, breakfast is good, and nothing is at all expensive here. Best place to stay in this area, as far as I'm concerned. If you're going to Carlsbad and / or Roswell, this place is worth it. Right in the middle of most stuff to see, and is welcoming when you're done with the day's exploring.

My friend I stayed here for one night and the front desk clerk in the morning was really rude. We had forgotten something in our and had already checked out and she wouldn't let's in the room and get it. She just gave us dirty looks and told us to leave. We weren't even rude to her. On a different note the elevator, Halloween is over fix it. I tripped walking in cause it was not level it was caveating, and making a lot of noise while riding in it. Possible remedy change jack packing. I will not stay at this facility again due to rudeness and elevator.

Stayed here back in 2015 during a crazy thunderstorm. My girlfriend and I were driving in from Carlsbad to find a campsite and by chance we had ran into some terrible weather so we had to get a room. The staff was very nice and courteous, the room was beautiful, much nicer than camping outdoors like we had been for days at this point. It was such a wonderful treat to get to lounge in the hot tub while everything outside was awful. Thanks guys, you've done your job well. Also the maintenance guy was super cool. Thanks!

I would like to thank the staff at the Comfort Inn in Artesia NM. Who made our recent stay an awesome experience. They couldn't have been more helpful, friendly & genuinely concerned. The rooms were clean &, comfortable. The morning breakfast display was truly commendable. The fresh ice cold lemon water available all day & night made it so easy to stay hydrated. The fresh hot cookies in the afternoon was a special treat. But I was most impressed when a guest asked for extra hangers for their room & a member of the staff actually went out & bought a pack of hangers & surprised them the next day. I hope you pay them well for they truly make a difference. Sometimes it's the little things that count!

Would not personally choose to stay at this hotel again. Traveling for work, and fellow married coworkers, were propositioned by members of staff currently on the payroll, including the manager who fraternizes with customers during their stay. This does not include the member of the staff who recently resigned (as stated by staff on a previous response) but rather the ones who continue to be employed at the Artesia location. This type of unethical and immoral behavior is unacceptable and lacks professionalism. There were issues with bugs in the rooms, including ants and cockroaches. Perhaps the staff member responding to prior or current customers and their reviews, should re-evaluate his/her potential to give adequate attention to such experiences. The majority of issues are not being resolved, there is a lack of compassion regarding those negative experiences and the handling of such matters as "personnel problems" (as stated in another customer review) is one of the primary issues that your corporate office should be giving their undivided attention to. Staff response is very vague and typically does not apply to anything the customer has stated. Perhaps you should stop sleeping with your customers and start running this hotel properly.

Great hotel! Nice staff, clean rooms, good breakfast and quiet at night to get a good rest. What more could you want? Cookies, you say? They even have those too! My family and I stayed here to visit Carlsbad caverns and we are very glad we did. Much better than the more expensive hotels in the tourist rat race of Carlsbad!

By far the nicest Comfort Suites we have stayed in. The spacious accommodations works well for us. One person can watch TV in one room and the other read in another room. The staff is extremely helpful.

We have been here since March and feel like its home haha. The hotel is great. Staff is friendly. Would very much recommend this place to anyone coming to Artesia! All you need is right here and if not its close to everything! they can give you a map to all the local attractions and eateries! we will always stay here when in town!

My husband and I stayed in one of the suites. The room was fresh and inviting. I even noticed how clean and sparkling the bathtub was. The staff was friendly and helpful and seemed very concerned about our comfort and needs. I would definitely stay there again!

I always enjoy staying here and feel that the hotel is clean and safe. I plan on staying here when I return. Front staff desk remember me and are very nice!

Really big clean rooms. Right off the highway. Fantastically warm staff. Never seen a king size room with a couch in it before. Breakfast food better though — lots of options but not much taste.

This place was awesome! We arrived around 9:00pm and the ladies that were there were very helpful. Comfortable beds, quiet night. Woke up and had a excellent breakfast. Staff very friendly.

The hotel was new and clean. Staff was friendly. Easy to find and ample parking.

The rooms look nice. They have microwaves, refrigerators, and basic amenities. For the most part, rooms are clean enough, but I stay here for work periodically, and every single time, the closets in the rooms are filthy. Visible crumbs, dirty extra blankets dirty. If they are cutting corners (literally) what else is getting cut? Nicely stocked gym, but the machines are in very poor working order. Extremely squeaky elliptical, no electronics work on the bike. The business area was out of order on last visit. No working computer to print out items. Gets you by, but could use help despite my bringing up done of these things to the manager.

Double queen beds, flat screen, direct TV, ac blasted subzero degree air, 5min walk to Walmart, nice pool, hot tub, and easy access to the highway.

Clean, safe and reasonable breakfast included. The staff is friendly. Internet included. 50 min from Carlsbad Caverns.

The service was excellent the people were great everyone was very helpful. One issue I found was the walls are very thin and you could hear every step the people upstairs made.

Very nice, clean hotel! Staff was very welcoming and helpful! Their public washer and dryer wasn't working so they allowed me to use the commercial ones at no charge. The pool and breakfast were great! Location was great as well; Walmart is less than a mile away! Would DEF recommend this hotel to everyone!
