Absolutely wonderful experience! Friends staff, clean rooms, great location! Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are nice and well maintained. It is also one of the few places that can accommodate a family of 5. The staff is very helpful, the breakfast has lots of tasty options. It's just a short drive to Carlsbad caverns and is much more reasonably priced that hotels in Carlsbad.

Service was wonderful and all staff was polite. Rooms were great. However, the pool was very small and crowded with no sauna. There is little space to be social. Breakfast is amazing, complementary (free), and plenty of space to sit there.

We stayed here as part of a multi state trip. The location was very convenient, close to the interstate and right next to a Walmart for restocking supplies even at midnight. Nice amenities for travelers, a good breakfast bar, and the rooms were comfortable. The only unpleasant point was the low water pressure in the shower. Would stay there again.

After a mix up in our room on the first night the manager made it right for us by 930 am the next morning. Our room is great. It's 112° outside and our room is 68°. Great hotel, awesome breakfast in the am as well. Better that most hotel breakfast. Manager here wants to make your stay happy and does that if you give him a chance. We appreciate his willingness to listen and help.

A bit disappointed with my visit. Spend a lot of time on road and treated myself to an upscale hotel. The breakfast bar was above average but the maintenance on the property was sub-par. Hallways needed vacuuming and elevator 1 had operational issues (door wouldn't close), however, on the up side, the staff was quite friendly.

Absolutely stunning! The customer service was the best I have seen in a while, very friendly and helpful. As for the breakfast, it was quite excellent, fresh fruit, dairy, and waffles! The only thing that was even slightly bad at this hotel was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow and hard to log onto. Otherwise, this hotel was great for all of my needs!

Not happy with our stay. This was our first time here and was hoping for a great weekend getaway. We were unhappy that we were unable to enjoy the pool. There was a kids birthday party with about 20 + kids. All of them in the pool from check in at 3 until we went in about 5. Too loud and crowded. Not a good stay not to mention the towels in our restroom were damp. We will certainly find another hotel next month as we do visit monthly…

Double queen suite was plenty roomy for a group of 6. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was good. Beds comfortable and rooms very clean. Very pleased would stay again.

Nice and feels new. Service was great. Indoor pool. Only issues were the elevators not working and when they did, real slow and ran out of some foods during breakfast very early.

We had a fantastic stay here over the new year's weekend. The rooms are big, neat and come with lot of lights. Also they provided us with drinking water bottles. Breakfast was complimentary and the spread was quite impressive.

The rooms are fairly large. The hotel also seems pretty new so that's nice. Customer service is also good. I would stay here again.

The rooms were super clean! And the staff was super nice… breakfast was wonderful and different each day! I have 3 kids and they loved the pool. By far the best thing was it was super clean!

This hotel is one of the best run and nicest hilton properties I've been too. Rebecca greeted us with a welcome and fresh made cookies! Amazing! Rooms are spacious and clean. Pool is definitely chlorinated but the kids loved it. Excellent value!

I stayed for a couple of nights. The hotel is fantastic, the rooms are well furnished and very neat. I had some problems with the Direct TV working but a restart did the trick. The rooms are quiet and the one we got overlooked an empty field and Walmart. The breakfast was the usual self service affair but was delicious. The only things I would say can be improved are, I wish they had two toasters on heavy crowd days at the breakfast area and I requested for one of those complimentary shaving kits, interestingly they had everything except the shaving kits. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. Artesia is a good place to stay if you want to see Carlsbad Caverns and White Sands.

Breakfast is surprisingly good. Staff is very helpful. We need to use the freezer and the staff is helping us around the clock. Hotel looks very new. I hope they will keep up and I will choose to stay again next time I visit the national parks near by. Worth the drive from Carlsbad and Guadalupe mountain np.

Clean rooms. Decent size. Could use some small type of repairs with things like wallpaper peeling slightly but nothing to really be concerned about. Breakfast was decent. I would recommend this hotel for future guests.

Only stayed one night but very nice hotel and good location. The staff was very friendly and helpful upon check in.

Our stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Artesia was very enjoyable. Wee stayed on the fourth floor, and with the exception of a faulty shower head, everything was perfect. A huge shout out needs to be given to the woman who manages the breakfast buffet. She was, hands down, the friendliest, most cheerful hotel worker we have ever encountered! We'll definitely be back!

Once again we are so grateful for such great service… clean… friendly front desk… delicious breakfast… kind housekeeping staff… wonderful aviance.

The place certainly set the bar high. Veronica at the front desk is amazing as well as the rest of the staff. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The only negative was that the Wi-Fi was overloaded and impossible to log on and the room phone did not work. The morning breakfast was delicious. They even had a complementary to go snack/water kit for the road.

Rooms are super clean, comfortable, and very roomy. We booked a room with king size bed and was super spacious. A/C is amazing, especially when temp outside is 100!

Made reservations on 7/16.7/15 there was an e-coli outbreak in the cities water. Our reservation was for 7/21. We did not get notified of this outbreak until we checked in. After an 8 hour drive. We were told use bottled water and brush teeth with bottled water. Either don't shower or keep face out of water. No chance we were staying there. Front desk was very helpful and understanding. Customer service at 800 number got us to Carlsbad. Also very helpful. Carlsbad very helpful. Manager clearly made decision not to notify reservation customers or even corporate, since they had no notes in system about water situation. This decision potentially put some Hampton Inn customers in grave danger. This is an absolute unforgivable decision. Whoever made this decision should be removed from any decision making positions. I wouldn't even consiser staying at this location.

Great hotel. Room was exceptionally spacious for our 6 family members. Rachel at the front desk was very friendly and had everything ready and waiting for us — very appreciated after 11 hours of driving and arriving at 10 PM.

I was really impressed for a Hampton Inn. The basic stuff was there, rooms were clean and quiet. The staff was nice and the common areas were well kept, there was complimentary fruit, a nice selection of tea, coffee and cookies out. Breakfast was nice with lots of options (waffles, sausage, oatmeal, potatoes, cereals, pastries, eggs) and the dining area was clean and bright with nice furnishings.

We stayed during our trip to Carlsbad Caverns. Everything was perfect. We couldn't have had a better overnight stay. Highly recommended!

It's right at the edge of the downtown main street so finding food is easy. There's fresh cookies out down stairs and the king suite was so convenient and spacious! The breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Everything seemed fresh and the staff was way cheery for the morning.

They are always great. This is probably my 10th stay. The breakfast staff is really friendly and attentive. Alexis has checked me in several times and is always very pleasant.

Great room. Had mini fridge, but no microwave. Comfortable bed and pillows. Liked the charge station on the end tables by bed. Spacious restroom. Very comfortable.

Excellent place to stay. Loved the staff… very nice and helpful. Made us feel like we lived there… Stayed 5 nights during Thanksgiving week. Great breakfast every morning. Would stay again!
