We have stayed at the Hyatt & the rates even better.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before and every time I have had a great experience. The staff is awesome especially Marisa. Tonight I tried to reserve a room but the hotel was sold out. Marisa went out of her way to make sure I got a room for the night at a different hotel. Thank you very much Marisa!

Nice place to stay, and seems to be one of the better hotels in the area. The staff are exceptionally friendly. The hotel breakfasts are pretty good and the selection is decent. They are the within walking distance of several restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and they had a better selection of cable channels than many places I've stayed. They have an indoor pool and spa, but the pool isn't very big, and seems to be more for kids. Their customer pantry could be a little better stocked, but other than that the stay was enjoyable.

Comfortable and clean room. Good location near the main road down to White Sands National Monument. Decent breakfast, was not disappointed.

Love this place, awesome staff, great customer service. Best hotel in Alamogordo by far. If you come to Alamo this is the absolute best hotel in town.

We had vacation plans fall through this past weekend in Ruidoso and ended up having to travel to Alamogordo for a couple nights of lodging. I am so glad we chose Fairfield, their staff was amazing and very helpful and professional. The breakfast was really good with lots of variety and much better than your traditional “free breakfast”. John at the front desk was super kind and helpful. We had one minor issue that was immediately handled with professionalism. Look no further than Fairfield Inn Alamogordo, that’s where we will be staying for future visits! Thank you.

This is one of the nicest small-town hotels I've stayed in. It had a decent breakfast with waffles, fruit, eggs (unfortunately they're the liquid, comes-in-a-carton kind), granola, bagels, sausage patties, milk, yogurt, cereal, and juices. My shower was nice and large and had a great shower head. What earned it 5 stars though was the staff. After a few days they greeted me by name, and were always extremely helpful and willing to get me anything I asked for. I was staying there for work, and most days I had to leave before they began serving breakfast, however, they were able to bag a breakfast for me and bring it to my room before I left. My stay was not perfect however. The fitness room was pretty sparse and the pool was a bit small. Also the doors closed very loudly which can be a bother when you're trying to sleep at strange hours. But overall I was very happy and would definitely stay there again.

This is a new and very nice hotel. The beds are not as comfy as a Hilton, but not bad. Staff was very friendly. Everything was super clean. Did not use pool or exercise area but it was fine. They upgraded us without to a suite which was nice. We requested a allergy free room and it was wonderful to not be assaulted with smelly Downey sheets etc. In our last Hilton the bed was super comfy but the sheets were scented so that made things miserable. We will definitely look for allergy free rooms in the future. Also this place was super convenient to shopping and restaurants and family in Austin.

Nice clean hotel with spacious rooms. Good buffet breakfast. Pool was chaotic with small children but otherwise a perfect stay. Will stay again if in the Alamogordo/White Sands area.

Nice place to stay the night! Calling them directly enabled them to give me a military discount. The room looked clean, but while staying we found a bottle of seizure medication behind a pillow on the chair. This could have been disastrous if my 3 year old had found them instead. I informed the front desk when leaving. The lady at the front desk took the matter very seriously, and assured me they would be talking to housekeeping. Breakfast was good. The indoor pool was cold, but the hot tub was so relaxing.

This would be a 5 star if the pool was fixed. But the staff was amazing. They were kind and did everything a guest needed them to do. They were so helpful and ready to please. The rooms were sub-par. Edit… I received the business rate for my stay. They overcharged my card on the first night by $40. I brought it to their attention and mangements attention and they informed me there was nothing they could do and they said it's my fault. I will never stay at another Fairfield. Some of the staff was awesome. Management and corporate suck.

The atmosphere was great! The service, fantastic. The food was okay. All in all, it was a fun time with family! Next time we'll choose a different restaurant as there are several to choose from there.

This place is incredible! Customer service is unparalleled! Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean. Pool and hot tub are clean. I highly recommend this hotel!

First time staying in this hotel. After booking my thought was maybe this is not a good place to stay but this hotel was amazing. The staff friendly. Especially Reyna from the kitchen asking what my kid wants to eat. She was ready to make again even though they were closed when I said my daughter didn't eat much in the morning. That's the kind of service I love. Definitely recommend this place. The hotel was really clean and well maintained. FYI the pool was fixed and did see kids swimming and people in jaccuzi as well.

Beautiful hotel, poorly maintained. I am a regular Marriott client. This hotel is new, has a beautiful design, and should be great, but they apparently do not care to maintain things. It is not to Marriott standards. The bathtub in our hotel wouldn't plug so we could bathe our kids. It didn't matter whether it was down or up, it was not holding water. The faucet was literally hanging off of the wall. They didn't have soaps/shampoos out when we got to the room. The ice machine was broken. The pancake machine was broken. The door to the pool was broken. The door from the outside side, as far as I can tell, appeared to be broken as well. Lots of very chipped tiles throughout, etc. Room was clean and the breakfast was good. The front desk was very nice. It could be great, but whoever is in charge is letting it slip.

Very clean, very attentive staff, delicious breakfast bar with coffee and tea available during all hours. They have a nice indoor pool with an exercise equipment area in an adjoining room. The room price was average, not to expensive but not cheap. Although they do not have an in house restaurant they have a Chili's and a Carino's next door. I will definitely try to stay here the next time I come.

I'm a single parent with two children the room was nice but we were very disappointed the pool was closed for the weekend which we were not informed of this. My kids were really looking forward to being able to use the pool the reasons why I rented a room from y'all. If someone would have informed us before check-in of had it on your website I wouldn't be giving a bad review. I will not be renting a room from y'all again because I made this trip to make my children happy and they were very upset.

Rooms are clean and nice, breakfast had options with fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes and oatmeal. My only complaint is that the online service communication is not effective at this hotel they do not respond to your request if you need anything, you have to call the front the dest and still it takes about 45mins to bring us tooth paste.

Wonderful, well designed parking lot. Full. Considered using Wi-Fi, then realized that I didn't have a password. Boogied after that. Seems that there's problems in my 1g data.

Rooms were clean. Bed was very comfortable. Good water pressure. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was not open because they didn't have the certificate from the state that they have to get every year. Only complaint is that the tiles on the bathroom floor looked dirty. Not sure if that was just the design on them or if they really were muddy.

The staff was pleasant and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I had the breakfast and was pleased with the options. It was also great location for our visit to white sands. I'd stay there again.

This hotel was very nice for the price. The breakfast was not that great, but the location and rooms are alright. They also provided Paul Michelle toiletries, which is pretty nice for a value hotel.

This place is top notch. Super clean. Looks very new. Very pleased with the value for the price.

I went there to visit friends that were in town. The hotel is very nice; very large common area; indoor pool and a gym. The room seemed spacious and had 2 TV's. Staff was friendly.

Exceptional service. Quality rooms. Great hot breakfast. Only complaint is that the door provided virtually no sound insulation to the hallway. I heard everyone who got on and off the elevator all night long.

The best customer service at any hotel we have stayed in. The check-in was beyond friendly and check out easy and polite. Breakfast was great, fresh, stocked (even at 9:00am), and had a great so selection. The room was very clean, comfortable mattress, and had one of the rain shower heads! It was very comfortable and cozy.

The customer service at the counter was top notch, the building felt clean and fresh with a modern decor. Breakfast… the team could use a trashcan by the toaster and some customer service guidance. Overall this was a great stay! Joined the rewards program because of John.

The front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. The Room was big. The beds we're so comfortable I over slept for site seeing the next morning. Breakfast was the same as other hotels except they had more options. I would definitely stay here next time I come back.

My coworkers and I were down there for business and were very disappointed. The pool and gym lacked attention. The gym clearly had not been cleaned in weeks. The pool was green from mildew. Our rooms were not any better. My coworker's room had remnants of the previous guests left on the headboard. The floors were not vacuumed. I felt uneasy sleeping on my sleep. I will NOT be staying there again. (To the young lady at the front, thank you for your help. I know you tried to help us as much as you could. )

We had a total of 10 rooms and they were amazing as well as the staff went above and beyond and were very helpful and any issues were resolved quickly! We will definitely stay here everytime we travel through here! Thank you for making us feel at home, oh yea not to mention the amazing breakfast in the morning… PERFECT!

Are stay the first 2 night where nice although when the hide away couch in the suites are pulled out it is hard to get to the bathroom. Our third not a few days later om our way back upon arrival we where told that they had over booked. We had already confirmed our stay with them upon checking out the first time. They sent us over to another hotel Magnuson with a vouture. Upon checking in the receptionist there stated that the rooms Marriot had reserved where rooms with a single Quenn bed. Not good with 5 people. After waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes while the manager at Marriot spoke to the manager at the hotel down the road and finding out all hotels where full a room reservation was cancelled opening up a room with 2 quenns. I think a fire code was broke as they could not even put 5 occupatents in system. However they said we could have a roll away. What we got was a tiny narrow coleman camp cot. This hotel had no elevator. I have rhuematoid arthritis and climbing stairs is hard for me. Also we had to get an extension cord for 2 cpaps. Over booking rooms and sending customers to substandard hotels is not good practice.

Thought it could be cleaned better. Hair on bathroom floor, mirror looked like it wasn't cleaned. Floors in room & hallway were dirty like they hadn't been vacuumed in months. Bed was comfortable! Housekeeping needs to step up and do a better job! For the price it should of been spotless!

We enjoyed our stay staff was helpful and friendly, would definitely stay here again!

AC did not work in room which is located right above pool where heat and humidity rose into room. Very disappointed. Manager and maintenance claim it was because unit kept freezing. But the problem was the fan only blew at one speed which is very low. Never staying here again, will be cutting our stay short since they say they are booked and cannot move us to another room.

The A/C in our room was broken, so called up front desk person said he had no one to fix it and if we can handle the stay in room due to no other rooms and he would check if any cancellations, never heard back from him, so stayed in a hot room, then we were told at check in we couldn't get sleds till morning will pass out at 630, so I went down at 6am and asked for 3 I was told they only had 2 left, I let him know I was told they weren't going to pass out till 630, he said your the first person ive seen this morning and I only have 2. So much for having plenty. 3 more days staying in a hot room not being able to sleep is not worth the price we paid, will not book this hotel again!

Cool fishtank the kids watched for a while, they also enjoyed the pool, which has a little waterfall. Nice patio area. Breakfast had a waffle and a pancake maker. Sadly, no breakfast meat.

Staff were great, always very pleasant and helpful. The room was just about prefect, could have used a better bed… On the down side, the mini fridge was awkward because of the design, but it kept food and drinks exceptionally cold.

The staff here was awesome. They were very accommodating to my needs. However, the suite I stayed in could definitely use some tlc. It was clean, there were plenty of towels and all the items in there worked but it just needs some work. Had a great visit and loved the pool.

Hotel is very stylish. Beds were super comfortable. Food was very good. Staff was extra nice. Hotel is close to White Sands. Many restaurants close by.

I came for a two night stay to go to white sands and the hotel is definitely the nicest in the city. I really enjoyed the presentation of the building, but the shower was not as clean as I would have preferred. Other than that it was quite nice.

Stopped in for an overnight trip at the Fairfield Inn in Alamagordo so we could go enjoy White Sands National Monument at our leisure. I'll start with the "pros" before moving to the "cons" of our stay. Pros: Check-in was easy, no hassles and we were able to get to our room quite easily. Staff at check-in was friendly and helpful. Rooms were super huge and modern (we had 2 queen beds). The beds were super comfy and we slept amazingly. Internet was easy to access, it wasn't slow and worked as one would normally think internet to run. Showers were hot, the shower heads were neat with the added one that came from the ceiling like a rain fall. 4 towels were in the bathroom to use but only 3 wash cloths and hand towels (go figure. ) AC worked perfect and we were comfortable for the night. The hotel was within walking distance to Carinos Italian, Chilis, Taco Bell, Applebees and iHop. Cons: The mini-fridge didn't have a freezer area in it so we weren't able to re-freeze our cooler packs for our cooler. I don't think I've ever seen a mini-fridge in a hotel that didn't have this feature. There were only 3 pillows on the bed each, instead of 4 each so if we had 4 people in the room staying over night, 2 people would be "shorted" a pillow. There wasn't any extra linen in the closet to use that would have included a pack/bag with an extra pillow and blankets. There was only one set of toiletries in the bathroom (soap, shampoo/conditioner). The indoor pool.

Walking to our hotel room the door was held open w/the bar that locks. As two women we were on guard & very uncomfortable. I have traveled for over 25+years & I never experienced that. I called front desk, he came up to check the room (I didn't want to be responsible for anything missing). The next morning knowing the owner was standing in front of me, I discussed what happened w/his front desk personnel. He ignored me the whole time, until he asked who was the housekeeper. When I tried to explain how uncomfortable the situation was, he dismissed the incident totally, as if because I was a woman what I had to say was not important. I understood his tone perfectly, along w/others around me. As a matter of fact, I thought maybe I was reading his mannerism incorrectly, but it was quickly brought to my attention, by men & women, how horrible rude he was to "shhhh" me when trying to talk. Later that day, I did received a call frm Manager, (not owner) but she never returned my call. And they charged me full price for the mess and despicable behavior of the owner. Tina Peterson.
