Room was disgusting, stained sheets, someone urinated in the hall, sketchy individuals out front and the young lady at the front desk was incredibly rude to my husband.

The place was so filthy we didn’t stay and went to another hotel. As soon as you opened the door the weed hit you in the face and my stomach immediately turned. The smell makes me sick. The mold in the bathroom was over the top and the hair in tub. Was afraid to sit or even bring in my luggage due to the conditions. Don’t stay here. Also it didn’t look very safe.

The place is a flop house, at least that's how it feels. It is disgustingly dirty, the manager Crystal overbooks rooms and keeps your money, non-smoking rooms reek of smoke, and if you complain expect Crystal to call the cops on you. Save your money and sleep in your car, it will be a better experience than this dump. Just Google it and read those reviews!

This place is disgusting. Bugs in the room, questionable stains in the tub, sticky carpets, musty smell, broken phones, no coffee maker. Awful.
We left 15 minutes after checking in. And yet, I was still charged! AND the manager has avoided my many phone calls to try to get a refund. Avoid this place at all cost!

This was the worst place we have ever stayed. Supposed to be a non smoking place but the rooms smelled like cigarettes so bad our clothes stunk from just an overnight stay! Dirty rooms, we rented 2. Noisy and people in and out all hours, left the TV on so we could try to sleep. Sketchy area and the free breakfast wasn’t even out when we went down there but we just left as quick as we could anyway.

The stay in general. Black mold in the bathroom, a burnt out cigarette on the bathroom wall, hairs in the shower, fireplace was unhooked and battery out. One battery in remote. Couldn't hardly sleep due to people next door screaming and fighting.

No hot water, the shower head didn’t work, giant spider on the wall, hole in the bedding along with a grey spot on the blanket, it took 2 of us to open and close the doors, it looked like rust all over the walls in the bathroom; the guy at the front did offer us a different room, but I guess that’s why they don’t offer refunds. Do not book this hotel!

The entire place had the smell of weed & cigarette smoke throughout; not to mention the stale scent of twenty-year funk. Roaches were crawling in the bathroom & at the sink. The bed was uncomfortable & the linen worn & funky smelling. The furniture was dusty & old. I felt like I was staying in a cheap motel or spot people took hookers for quick fixes. Hallways & stairways had trash & crap. Place looks like it hasn’t ever been cleaned or remodeled. This has to be the worst experience ever.
The only reason I didn’t leave early is because I didn’t want to lose my money. I just can’t believe this business is open. This facility needs to be condemned. Now, I need to fumigate myself from this mess of a facility.

Great room a cheap I had good night at mottle.

Going downhill. Needs landscaping and general cleaning. Used to be a great bbn place to stay but getting worse everyday. Staff are nice but management needs to step it up. Pot smoke wafts on every level. Stains on the tile floor, trash everywhere. 3 foot grass as of today. Rates need to change.

The lobby always has a line because no one knows how to use the system. Overbilled, takes an hour to check in, smoke (both pot and tobacco) flood the halls, they ran out of toilet paper, no atm, domestic fights and parties are an every weekend thing… stuck here due to coronavirus. Heater in room doesnt work, fridge doesnt work, police here multiple times a week… and they still havent fixed my bill. Cant go anywhere else because hotels cant take new reservations. It is hell here.

It is 1230 am. It is horrible out in the halls, I open my door to see what the commotion is, only to be approached by a young man who asked me if I sold drugs. There is also a man chasing a little girl up and down the halls screaming and laughing. I called front desk who said that they couldn't do anything unless I knew their room number. How the hell do know, they are running up and down the hall? so… I just have to listen to the animals in the hallway. I truly am hating this hotel. Skid row.

Clean affordable rooms. Nice complementary breakfast. Good central location in Newark area.

Restaurants all very close. Walking distance even.

Very peaceful hotel. Nice pool. Not too big. Great family time weekend getaway!

Our campsite in Lum Pond State Park flooded in the middle of the night after a short intense rainfall. The employee at the Quality Inn was truly wonderful. She helped us find the room we needed. Her hospitality and flexibility with letting us stay so late at night was truly the best service we ever had. We would definitely recommend to anyone the Quality Inn here. The room was clean and the environment was quiet. It was a great an experience for a good price.

We ended up here last minute when our other hotel cancelled on us. The room was clean, quiet and good value for money. The shower pressure is among the best I have encountered anywhere. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at this Quality Inn. It was very very clean and the staff totally gets 5 stars. They can't please you enough. My 2 day stay turned into an 8 day stay. The breakfast buffet which is included with your stay was amazing. It had everything you would want for breakfast. I will definitely be back to stay there again and I would recommend this Quality Inn to everyone I know. It was an extremely great experience.

Very affordable with discount coupon. Cousins and bed of the most comfortable. Clean and well equipped. Very hearty breakfast.

Not a crappy hotel but also far from being excellent. The shower drain was draining extremely slow and so the tub filled up quickly while taking a shower. One of the towel racks fell off the wall without even using it. Just blam! The bathroom lacked counter space for towels or personal items. I asked the front desk for a bottle of water and he said there was no complimentary water bottles. The AC unit worked fine and the bed was comfy with clean linens.

Friendly staff, nice hot breakfast included… There's even Belgian waffles. Rooms are clean, TV works well. Wifi is good too.

This is a great place to stay. Reasonably priced, very clean, and best of all the staff was amazing. Specifically, Cathy who worked the front desk the night we checked in was our favorite hotel employee of all times, and we are avid travelers. She should be commended for her excellent customer service skills. She is a true asset.

Was so tired the whole from touring Pennsylvania/Philadelphia, so all I can wish for was to sleep on a nice and clean bed. My wish was granted as the bed was clean and comfortable. I slept like a baby and was ready for the next trip the next day. My only con was that the breakfast area was so small especially for our big group and the reason why I ranked it 4 star. The employees were very kind and helpful. I will definitely recommend the place.

Very clean, came with four towels which is great since we always ask for more since hotels usually give three. Easy check in and check out and comfortable beds.

Worst place I have ever been to. They say they are pet friendly and they are very rude to guests with pets. I was at work one day and housekeeping open door and my dog got away, they never notified me and they never looked for him. I found him 8 days later during which time here was hit my a car. Staff or management never apologized or accepted responsibility for what happened.

The room we had was a very clean room… Smells very fresh… updated furniture… Carpet is very clean but seems older… Room looks freshly painted… I would have loved a newer iron… Bathroom was very clean, no mold, no rust etc. Towels was very nice and very clean… Microwave and refrigerator was in the room (very clean). Although mattress seemed new, it was a little hard for me I love very soft mattresses and my husband love the firm ones so he was elated but the pillows were small. (you may want to bring your own pillows or use the extra one in the room)

Very comfortable room. Decent breakfast. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the checking in process took an unreasonable long time to do. It took about 20 minutes to check in the guy in front of us as well as another 20 for us. She kept having to back out and start over. She was nice and friendly, just took a really long time to check in guest.

Stayed here for a night and must say for the price it was well worth it. The staff I think his name was Reid, was very polite, helpful, and even checked us in a little early. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast provided was good. I had a question that had nothing to do with the hotel itself but the parent company and the manager was on top of it. Called me right away and couldn’t have been more understanding. I recommend if you need a decent place and are on a budget.

Very disappointed! Stayed here twice and will not go back. Both times bad experiences. Dirty room that gave me the creeps, toilet not working. Told the front desk clerk about the toilet at check out and all he could do was tell me about another room that had the same issue. Terrible!

Never felt safe. Felt as though we were being cased to be someone's next mark. Police even patrolled parking lot. Definitely will not stay here again.

I had my lifetime trauma, yes, you are reading it correct. We were there for a conference, so we had to just sleep for the night, as we were having so busy schedule. We checked in at around 12 am, and we were supposed to leave by around 8 am. We were staying at room no 221. I don't know why you guys have a door in the middle of the room, when you open that door, you see another door. Even if you are locking your door, someone might enter from the other side, if they have key or something which is very insecure. And the sink was clogged. Still we didn't say anything as we had to go to bed, I've already mentioned, we had an important meeting ahead. We thought it's only the night, we'll just pass it. Then we went to bed at around at 1 am. All on a sudden, at 5 am, your fire alarm was ringing. You don't know how we woke up, and you'll never imagine, how we woke up from the deep sleep and screamed like hell. Okay, we came out and saw all other people were out too, and apparently none knows what is going on. After 15 minutes fire alarm stopped, and everyone went to their room including me. Suddenly I heard someone was trying to open the middle door. I said, hello, hello, none replied from the other side. Immediately I called to the reception, the lady said, she was there, trying to check our door! How come she was there in one minute, and the next minute she was there on next minute! As I was already paranoid of the fire alarm thingy, I just avoided the argument.

Rooms were dated but clean. We were the only people at check in yet the two employees at the desk ignored us while they were finishing up work. One employee finishes and then just walks away. How about trying a I'll be with you in a moment or something. The free breakfast was good with plenty of choices.

We stayed at this hotel in a pet-friendly room at the end of the building. The room was near a grassy area, which made walking our pet outdoors convenient. We attempted to use the outdoor pool. The pool water was smelly and EXTREMELY filthy. The smoking area was adjacent to the pool; so, the entire area was smelling and unkempt. The breakfast was overcooked and inedible, the coffee was old and cold. I would not recommend this hotel for families or those traveling with children.

Great place to stay, right off the highway and close to the Christiana Mall. Best place near the hospital and at this exit!

The 1st time I stayed at this location, I had such a bad experience that I was skeptical about staying here again. However, everyone deserves a 2nd chance and the location is prime, so I stayed here again and was Amazed! I was happy that I gave this location a second chance. The room was clean and very comfortable. I am very finicky and critical when it comes down to bathrooms, but I found no fault. Also, the staff is very friendly! Chris, the general manager, is very nice and accommodating and very hospitable! All in all, I have no complaints and I will be back!

Nice place, close to mall and other shopping venues. The best part was the hotel local pizza place Marino's. They are fast and friendly and have one of the best cheese steak I ever had.

Room smelled a little like smokey, even though it was non smoking. Towels could be a little softer. Staff is super nice.

If you are American and would like your jobs to stay in AMERICA, do not patronize this hotel. They knowingly and willingly let out of state scabs take jobs from the locals. However, they are unknowingly facilitating the process of outsourcing AMERICAN jobs to foreign companies. Release the scabs!

Stayed in many motels in Delaware. By far the best is quality inn for the price. Breakfast is excellent. Gerry, the lady who takes care of the breakfast is the best.

It's decent, bathroom is fairly cramped, but other than that pretty good.

We had a good nights stay at Quality Inn, Newark. The private entrance, close to our vehicle works well for us as we have a lot of luggage. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of electrical outlets for our CPAP machienes. The breakfast was good and had a good variety.

Great hotel with a great friendly staff! And the thing that I like the most is that at Breakfast there is this this sweet elderly woman that prepares it and she is just a delightful soul! Like having your grandma their fixing breakfast and sending you out into the world!

Paid for a deluxe double bed room. There were 2 beds, dropped charger behind the bed and found too much trash. Booked at this motel and location for the pool but was green and just plain dirty. Everyone was very nice though.
