Review of Quality Inn Newark 2*

I had my lifetime trauma, yes, you are reading it correct. We were there for a conference, so we had to just sleep for the night, as we were having so busy schedule. We checked in at around 12 am, and we were supposed to leave by around 8 am. We were staying at room no 221. I don't know why you guys have a door in the middle of the room, when you open that door, you see another door. Even if you are locking your door, someone might enter from the other side, if they have key or something which is very insecure. And the sink was clogged. Still we didn't say anything as we had to go to bed, I've already mentioned, we had an important meeting ahead. We thought it's only the night, we'll just pass it. Then we went to bed at around at 1 am. All on a sudden, at 5 am, your fire alarm was ringing. You don't know how we woke up, and you'll never imagine, how we woke up from the deep sleep and screamed like hell. Okay, we came out and saw all other people were out too, and apparently none knows what is going on. After 15 minutes fire alarm stopped, and everyone went to their room including me. Suddenly I heard someone was trying to open the middle door. I said, hello, hello, none replied from the other side. Immediately I called to the reception, the lady said, she was there, trying to check our door! How come she was there in one minute, and the next minute she was there on next minute! As I was already paranoid of the fire alarm thingy, I just avoided the argument. Even if she was there at my door, why she didn't ask me before checking it from the other side. And after 15 minutes again your fire alarm started, and there was some kind of smell too. This time all the people were already on the street. Fire truck came and they left. Now you tell me, you have a very important conference, and you just booked the hotel for sleeping, and you are on the street at 5 am, running for your life! How it feels! Firetruck left, we asked the receptionist, what happened, she said, fire alarm had some issues! Oh, come on, we all know, this was an excuse. If we were going there for recreation, I would come out right away, but for the meeting I had to get ready, so I went to the room, kept the door open, and got ready and left the room by 7 am. So this was my wonderful experience at your hotel. For last 3 days, I couldn't sleep, if I close my eyes, I feel like I am gonna scream again, and something is gonna happen.
