The kitchen in the rooms ate a bit dated compared to some of the other home-like hotels I've stayed at. The first "smoke free" room they provided me wasn't at all — the smell hit you like a wall upon entering the room. However, they switched me to another room very quickly. The staff at the front desk were OK. Not super friendly but not rude either. For a single night stay, this place works well.

Its a basic hotel, nothing fancy, great for overnights or for work or for a 8 hour sleep and go. Rooms were clean, parking lot was safe, building felt safe.

Where should I start? It took over 2 minutes before anyone could pull themselves from the TV in the other room to greet me. Since no one was dressed even semi professionally, I really started to wonder what I had gotten myself into. After a 10 hour drive, I was beat, and just wanted a place to sleep. However, it's really bad construction when you can hear the people downstairs walking around. Not much sleep. The next morning, the breakfast is granola bars and coffee, this place really doesn't understand breakfast. I decided to get breakfast elsewhere. Walking to my vehicle, I start noticing how unkempt the grounds are, cigarette butts everywhere, large limbs hanging off trees, and I can go on. End of the day, I come back, and decide to park near a door closer to my room. Cigarette butts everywhere, and wait, is that a syringe? I go in, the stairwell is filthy. I'm in my room now, and I have a full kitchen, but I find that I have nothing to cook with. I have a couple drinks and go to bed. Tonight people are walking above and below me till 2:00 am. Next day, skip the meager breakfast, do my job, come back. I stop by the front desk, ask for something to cook with. 2 hours later I have to go to the front desk to check on the status of the the requested cooking items, and no surprise, no one has any idea of my request. I finally cook dinner, and notice things about the room. The shower curtain had been pulled down and reinstalled by evidence of the gaping holes left from before.

Your service will be better if you enforce a smoking free environment. Only Carmen at the front desk is better than the rest of the crew. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The most friendly and accommodating staff! I stayed at the hotel for a few days with my dog. We were treated like family. The room was clean, quiet and everyone working there was extremely personable and went over and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Thank you for making our stay one less thing to worry about during a difficult trip.

The area was clean. The rooms were provided with everything you needed. The parking lot is huge and easy to locate, and the building itself is huge as well. The service and workers they provide are pretty nice to you and can help you in any way. The main reason I attended because I spent a whole day attending my relative's wedding in a ball room.

Quiet. Good location for my needs. Friendly front desk. Terrible "Continental" morning spread. Stayed 5 nights on business. Never received any room cleaning. Other guests were throwing full trash bags, and soiled towels outside their door. Hallways stink like bad, greasy home cooked meals. Puke!

I stayed there for a week before I moved into my permanent house. The room was great with a sample kitchen where you can cook our own food. They also provide daily morning and evening pick up & drop services to nearby working areas which was great and timely. In morning they used to provide pickup breakfast. Internet was slow. Channels on TV was limited. In terms of cost, it was pocket friendly. Overall, great experience.

They seem very short staffed. Had to wait a long time for the room to be cleaned and for us to obtain keys. Once we obtained the key, the key wasn't programed appropriately. But the stay was good, room was clean and met our expectations.

I was in the area. So I called. It connects you to the national hotel line which can't tell you much. So I drove there in person to see if they had a room, super high demand for rooms in this area. It seemed they were caught off gard by my request. As I walked a bad smell of a combination of chemicals and very old mop water was very strong in a very narrow and busy hallway, note: I am far from sensitive. It is a very generic place I think. They didn't have a room after all, I regret going there in person. If that was the reception area, I can imagine what the rooms must be like.

Worst hotel so far stayed in my life. Staff is arrogant. Bed was not cleaned and properly arranged. Gas stove was not working and had to bring food for small kid urgently from outside. Told 20times front desk to fix however nothing was done for 2 days and then I had no choice to checkout. Would not suggest and will never stay there.

Awesome staff. Steve and Mack or Max awesome work ethic. But Please get an ice machine.

The worst hotel I have stayed. I booked it since there was no other hotel available in Morristown area. Hotel smells bad, the room smell as well. No housekeeping, not sure if it is the case or I was unlucky. Breakfast is a joke; bad coffee and muffin.

Good staff, comfortable accommodation. No static for smoking medical cannabis in the room. Near airport. Access from roadway is tricky.

The room was just ok. The pillows were very small for bed pillows, not regular size. We only had 3 and for the size more was needed. The worst part of the stay was how the TV was programmed. It took us 2 hours the 1st night to figure it out. You had to download Extended Stay America App whether you wanted it or not. Then download an app called hotel cast whether you wanted it or not then down load Chromecast and all these apps took a bunch of space on your phone. Then you worked the hotel remote 2nd night we improved only took an hour and a half to figure it out. Never stay in this chain again. We like TV after long day. The staff was very nice.

The rooms are good for the price. It has a kitchen but no oven. Convenient coin operated laundry. The cable is a little crappy. What was perfect was the staff. Not only helpful but infectiously friendly. Especially Gina who more than helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend it for that alone.

They checked out our room to someone else while we we're still in it. This hotel is much more mediocre than advertised. The rooms are decent but the hallways are very dark, hot and smells like dirty Chinese food. The staff was friendly and helpful but we were definitely disappointed that they gave an active room key to someone else before our checkout time ended. Luckily the other family notified us, in a different scenario, all our valuables could have been stolen. A maid said our room was clean and ready to go but no one had ever attempted to clean it before checking it out to someone else. Also, they have the worst breakfast I've ever seen. They really shouldn't be able to classify it as a breakfast as much as a few cheap vending machine snacks. It only consists of prepackaged muffins and granola bars (what most decent hotels give you for free). It is definitely worth the extra $10 to go down the street to the Hampton Inn/ Hilton.

As an employee of a company that I live out of hotel rooms, this one is up there with some of the best Extended Stays I've been at. My company favors the Extended Stay America chain because they're cheap with our CLC cards, offer full kitchens, coin operated laundry, and are suitable to LIVE in for months to a year at a time. This hotel staff is wonderful! Upon my arrival, I was worn out and tired but Steve (GM) cheered me up with his witty sense of humor and overall kindness when I checked in. He got me a room on the first floor, and it has a very rustic feel to it. Wooden cabinets from about the 1990's or so, but I enjoy the country-esque look. The room I got was decently sized with a massive closet and my one maintenance concern (broken shower head) was addressed within minutes. Location is a bit loud with planes taking off and landing throughout the day right over the roof, but I happen to enjoy those sounds. The planes tend to occur less at night and have never woken me up. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a good extended stay or even a short visit.

The room was good… which I finally got after 45 mins. While switching from one smoking room and then one which was already reserved. The place is clean but the room service is due once week. With little ones. This is not I expected.

Comfortable stay. Didn't have to worry about food, commute and cooking as they provide shuttle service for nearby offices and grocery stores, Target / Walmart etc. Decent rooms and great option for long stays.

I had the pleasure of staying at the ESA in Whippany for a business trip. The hotel itself was accommodating, though not extravagant. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. But what is most noteworthy was the staff. While this hotel receives 3 1/2 stars, the staff deserves 5+! Carmen was such a gem! Max and Stephen also deserves praise for their willingness to assist where needed. If you ever want to stay in a moderately priced hotel but want (or need) five stars service, look no further. Thank you Stephen, Carmen and Max for a wonderful stay!

I've been living here around a year — the staff here are friendly, approachable and helping. If you need anything, just ask for Steve — he is the general manager for this facility.

Awesome place, friendly staff. Rooms are always clean. I've stayed here for over a month in 2 visits and we'll do so again if I return.

Fine location to stay for a day or so. Minimal amenities but if you're just there for a bed, not bad.

3 stars only when considering the super affordable $60 I paid for the night, but on its own, sub-par amenities and not well cleaned. And I dreeeead those dated bedspreads.

I have been here since July of 2015 and will be staying here through Sept. Of 2016. It started out horrible, room was dirty throughout. Hallways dirty. Staff very unfriendly. My company has an account here so I was obligated to stay, otherwise I would have checked out. Well, this lasted about 3 weeks or so and I started to see some changes. First of all a friendly portly gentleman named Steve will greet you at the counter with a smile and a friendly hello, the staff has been transformed into people who talk to you like they have known you forever. As it is an Extended Stay your rooms are not cleaned as often as a hotel stay, if you requested it, the staff would happily make sure your request was fulfilled. The cleaning staff does an exceptional job and the overall condition of the building has improved in leaps and bounds and continues too. I travel for a living, stay in several hotels, i'm impressed with the changes and looking forward to staying here for the next 9 or 10 months. Great Job Steve and Staff. Thank You.

Really horrible hotel. Do not stay here! Dirty room, bad customer service, go away.

The room was clean, the staff was nice, and everything worked properly in our room. This is a good place to lay your head down and head out the next morning. It's not the best place to "Stay". There were very little accommodations for the price. The breakfast looks like a last minute Walmart run. A couple apples, some muffins, granola bars, and packets of oatmeal. The coffee almost never got replaced throughout breakfast time. It was always gone before 8am. There wasn't really anything else "unique" about the place. So overall, if you're looking for a place to sleep, and you'll be elsewhere the rest, definitely book here. If you're looking for a place to sleep and maybe spend a few hours at relaxing, you may want to pick somewhere else.

My mother and I booked one night in a room here on July 18, 2015. It was theoretically a nonsmoking room, but not remotely in practice. I kept the window all the way open and the fan in the bathroom on just so I could breathe without coughing. We told the receptionist when we checked out but she did not seem concerned. None of this really would have bothered me, but I woke up a few days later with clusters of bedbug bites, and now all of my clothes and linens are in the wash being sanitized in case I brought any with me.

Not good at all booked a king suite got there went to the room. Looked like someone had a party and left. Housekeeping never touched the room. Had to ask for another room and the lady told me they don't have any more king available. So I had to settle for a queen cause I drove all the way from VA. And had no where to go. The queen room stunk to the point I had to buy 2 candles just to get me threw my 2 days.

Not good at all and the front desk receptionist didn't know basic customer services.

The place is clean but not well kept in detail. Like an older apartment in a city. Can be kept clean but you notice they don't fix the details. The good is that it is clean and safe. But the bad is that they don't pay attention to the details and let things go. Would stay here again but only if I had too.
