Excellent service! The room was comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend staying here if you have a vehicle and need easy access to Midtown or to the Meadowlands for a sporting event or concert. 😊

I absolutely loved the room. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the space. The ONLY issue I had here was the cleaning women yelling their distaste for the guest and how disgusting everyone is. Two days in a row we woke up to the cleaning women calling guests names while they fixed the rooms. I’d highly consider getting new cleaning women. We wanted to stay another night but sr didn’t feel comfortable with how spiteful these women sounded. Orlando was a pleasure though.

If you're traveling in or around the North Jersey, New York area the Hilton Garden Inn is such a wonderful location to hang your hat and get a good night's sleep. Located close to the American Dream amusement park, shopping center they are doing the best that they can, along with the rest of us, in dealing with covet 19. In better times this place would be packed to the gills. I arrived to an exceptionally clean and well-maintained facility. The shower was hot, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was cold. Who could ask for anything more? The staff are very attentive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The gentleman who was working the front desk was a very intelligent young man, Lucas, who had just celebrated his 19th birthday and is going to be a wonderful long-term asset to the Hilton family. I will be looking forward to staying again in the future. Enjoy!

First time here and they have been absolutely amazing. We're on our honeymoon and they suprised us with cheesecake and a bottle of wine. Thank you making our stay extra special!

All super clean and lovely staff there are rooms that do not include breakfast but have a Restaurant and the buffet is $12.50 not bad ❤️

Im from Chicago it was my first time being in New York with my family and what a great experience from the hotel staff. Sharon was very pleasant and very helpful at the front desk. And the morning staff at the restaurant was excellent very friendly. Clean room and quiet place. Beautiful hotel. I would recommend it to my family and friends. And if my family visits again to New York I will book my reservations at that same hotel. Thank you for the excellent job. Hope to see you soon.

Handicapped Accessible really means that here. I can navigate my wheelchair throughout the room, the restroom is well-designed. The room is clean, staff is friendly and so far (we’ve only been here an hour) things are great.

The GM (Maria) is AMAZING! Her staff is super friendly and has made our stay delightful. They went out of their way to create a memorable experience for my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday trip to NYC! I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting NY. It’s super clean, within a 3 mile trip to NY (Via NJ Transit) and straight across the freeway is a theater, restaurants and shopping! Thank you to the management and staff at HGI Secaucus/Meadowlands for a memory that my daughter will cherish forever!

We had a blast on our quick journey to go to NYC. The breakfast was amazing, the staff was super accommodating and friendly. We did not have a view of NY from our room but it is a few minutes from NJ/NY Port Authority transportation stop, Lincoln Tunnels ($15.00 toll into NY) and good for family on a budget. Call ahead to verify your room location and how many breakfasts were included in your reservation. We would definitely stay here again. God bless you all.

A clean modern hotel. Service was top notch. I could even adjust the firmness of the mattress. I love this place! The entrance where you drive in is after the exit. Don't worry, you didn't miss it.

Overall nice stay. No problems. Accommodating staff available. Curtains would not close completely, so that was strange; light kept me awake for longer than I'd like, especially with a street lamp shining in. Good stay.

No free continental breakfast. The food is buffet style and cooked to order $13 per person. The food was good also. You have to walk about a half mile up to road to catch NO transit into the city. Rooms were nice and clean for the most part the bath tub could have used some scrubbing. But overall a good experience.

Stayed 1 night here. Room was nice and comfortable. Easy access into the city, so if you're visiting and just popping in, this is a great spot to go. Free parking, too.

I had a king room on the fifth floor. The bed was so comfortable and the room is beautiful, comfortable and clean. There is a laundry facility which was great. The staff was wonderful! I would recommend! Went in 2015, see above my review. I went back in 2017. Let's just say 10 Stars! They never disappoint. Had a nice view, food, staff was great. We took our kids and had a nice big room. Will go back in the future!

Great place to stay whether you are wanting to stay in New Jersey or go to New York City. The rooms are great and the staff is professional.

No two people were on the same page. The morning shifts were the best. Didn't appreciate the Dominican music blasting well after 11 PM. If I had known there was a loud music playing restaurant sharing a parking lot I would've booked elsewhere.

I stayed March 29th and am a Diamond member … I have over 360, 00 points and always stay at Hiltons. I woke up at midnight (I was in room 202) and the wall was FULL of black crawling bugs. I used a towel to wpipe them off and they continued to craw from under carpet up on the wall NON STOP … ugh … I called front desk they swicthed me to other room on 2nd floor and that was it … They charged me full amount and I am really upset. I have 2 videos of the bugs … disgusting. I have never had this happen in any Hilton … completely dumfounded!

Excellent service, room was clean, bed was so comfortable we had a great night sleep. Pillows felt brand new. Area was quiet and staff were so helpful. The pool area was clean and safe even the gym area. I highly recommend this place.

Was there for a conference. The staff were very polite and prompt with service. It was during the snow storm on 03/21/18 and a bus load of school children got stranded, the hotel accommodated them all …

Comfortable accommodation and correct prices.

We tried to check in while waiting for our friend which was book under her name. The front desk supervisor Brian wouldnt even let us check in unless the person who reserve show up. As we dont want to waste our time and our friend is coming way later, the supervisor didnt even try to accomodate our situatio or even offer any help, he literally indirectly told us to go elsewhere. Well thank you "Brian" for ruining our night and wasted our time.

I use the brand for business travel. Id prefer a Hampton Inn because I dont really like paying $2.00 for a cup of coffee in the lobby out of a Keurig. I will say. The beds here are awesome. Like a cross between a Sleep Number bed and A Tempurpedic. Pretty slick.

Phenomenal customer service! Staying here was the best part of my vacation! Ms. Sharon was the best and so helpful! The only downfall was no shuttles to the airport.

Great location clean hotel but I just don't understand why they have to close the fitness center at 10pm? If I come from work later at night and just want to get some workout before I go to bed, nope you can't closed at 10pm. I stayed at so many hotels in that area this is the only one have this rule.

Very clean room. Staff friendly and professional. Just be careful if you are a member of the Hilton Honors program. I booked on line. Gave my HH mbr number, booked 11 DAYS! 6 days 1st week and then 5 nights 2 weeks later only to find out that it was a 3rd party and I didn't get ANY points. Very upsetting. I'm going to be calling customer service in the morning, hopefully they will honor their promise "to make it right, Guaranteed. "

Hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas, clean and friendly staff but the fire alarm went off during our stay and I was told we would be getting 1 night complimentary due to the early morning disturbance. They did not follow through on this at our actual check out. Was raving about the whole experience until we realized they had given us empty promises to get us to keep our 2nd night. Very poor customer service.

The hotel was clean, the staff courteous. The room heater made a noise as it shut down when it reached the desired temperature. It would wake me up at night. I complained 2x but nothing was done or if it was it didn't work.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was pretty good considering it is hotel food. I really enjoyed the french toast.

Staff is very nice clean rooms nice conference center. Only 10 minute bus ride to Manhattan and the hotel is right near the bus stop.

Myles at Front desk has the worst customer service. I booked for 2 night and he checked me out on the first night. When I get back to Hotel all my belongings, closes, laptop … and put in lost and found and I have to wait several hours to get it back. The manger offered me free breakfast which It does't compensate me at all. I travel 100 days in a year and I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

Very happy with our stay. Very clean. Even smelled very clean. Great value. We did misunderstand the breakfast… I guess some of it was free, some was not? No signs to tell the difference. Looked like a pretty standard included breakfast to me. Nope cost $13. So, beware of that.

Location was nice although the entrance was small and I passed right by it. Took me about 20 minutes to get back to the entrance which I was ready for the 2nd time around. The amenities were fine and pretty much what you'd expect.

Quiet and clean. Near Sports Complex. Full bar and nice dominican restaurant out front. Parking garage and breakfast free.

First time my future wife and I stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn. Wonderful, polite, and helpful staff; especially Nyron I believe his name was. Had a good sense of humor and brought some additional fun to the front desk instead of boring monotone individuals from other big chain hotels. Even awesome breakfast in the morning. Best part was something so simple but never saw before, Keurig coffee pot in ever room!

Location was convenient to major roadways, however, the entrance is small and located in a curve in the road and could be easily missed. The stock was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice enough for a one night stay. With regards to Hilton Hotels, feel you can get a better value for your money at another hotel in their franchise.

The hotel is a perfect location with close proximity to New York City and there is a Wal-Mart and Sam's Club near by. The hotel has a parking garage, business center, pool, small gym and washing machines. There is a great Dominican restaurant called Mamajuana's in the parking lot also.

I normally stay at the Hilton garden inn in ridgefield park but stayed here this month instead because it happened to be less expensive. This was a very clean, nice hotel. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because a woman at the front desk gave me a slightly rude response when I asked to add an unexpected business partner to my reservation. It was not an issue, but I normally have a flawless stay so I had to take off a star.

Easy to find friendly staff with a nice room and board. Any information is easy to find. However they dont have any atms that's a no go in my book.

The location was convenient for what we needed. A place to crash since we had plans in NJ rather than come back to NYC. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and the staff was nice. It is right off the highway though so it's not the place you go for luxury. It's a quick, clean place to crash. No continental breakfast either. The highway and no food is why it lost 1 star.

The room was okay. It was average size and clean. Included parking was a huge plus. Heater/AC unit was VERY noisy and constantly cycling on and off. This resulted in a less than ideal night constantly being awaken. Very convenient to public transportation, though (Bus 190 has a stop a block away and goes straight to the Port Authority). Next time I'll probably look for another hotel in hopes of a better night's sleep, though.

My husband and I just stayed here for the first time and there was absolutely nothing we can complain about. The staff was very friendly. The room was very nice and clean. The rates were very reasonable and it was only a short trip to EWR.

Ignorant staff. Took $400 from our bank account. And help up another $400. The receptionist is awful. Dorethea, she is unreasonable, cuts you off when you're trying to speak. Never returns calls, hang up you. Absolute worst stay I've ever had. do not go tothis hotel!

My wife and I came to New York to celebrate our Anniversary and the hotel just 3 miles from New York and all the action. Clean, nice rooms, I recommend the many suites. The friendly staff was always helpful and courteous. Great breakfast and free parking! I highly recommend this hotel to others.
