Staff was very pleasant and attentive. Very happy with the suite. Slept better than I have in months and woke to Kuerig coffee in my room. Clean and quiet even with Anime convention goers filling the hotel! China Chef nearby delivers-it’s delish and very reasonable.

Nice gym facilities, one of the reasons I book here.

Loved my stay there. They are a Pet friendly hotel. We had a family reuion there. The staff and the hotel was great. Location was fabulous, shopping and a lot of eating places close to the hotel.

They offer free parking but its a good walk, they try to suck you in for $20 a day right next door… seems clean so far and theres some restaurants within walking distance… for the price its a good deal so close to Manhattan.

The location right on the plaza is what gives this hotel the advantage. Walk right out the door to many choice restaurants… the restaurant in the hotel itself is subpar at best… the coffee shop in the hotel keeps short hours and that is a disappointment… rooms are average in looks, comfortable beds… but the front desk staff are extremely unorganized at ALL times… none of the rooms were ready at check in times… and the staff were very rude about it… I would like to think it was just a bad day, but we had the same issue with the exact same staff persons when we stayed here last year… obviously for the location we were willing to overlook that!

Stay on time, excellent service, costumer service great, and breakfast hummmmmmm delicius, near to New York autobus is near, not too far, and Walmart is near too open 24 hrs 7/7, nice rooms very clean.

This is a wonderful location. The hotel itself is nice. There is a bar downstairs, a business center on the second floor, workout room and other much amenities. The really shining point of the hotel is it's location. Right out side the hotel is a wonderful courtyard of great dining and entertainment. I enjoyed my stay here specially because of this!

We arrived in the evening and were greeted by Joseph, who was very helpful and even gave us a couple of breakfast coupons for our stay. We had requested a room away from the elevators and they accommodated us in a quiet room at one end of the hotel that was wonderful. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are pretty reasonably sized. The hotel has a plaza at the back and many restaurants around it which are pretty good and easily accessible. There's a shuttle that goes within a 2 mile radius but there's an NJ Transit bus that goes to New York (this is the best, affordable and comfortable option). They even have schedules at the front desk. Wonderful stay.

Great bang for your buck, really close to the bus line so going to Manhattan was easily accessible. Parking was free which is a huge plus considering everywhere else in NYC has high parking fees. The rooms was nice and spacious with check in/out being a breeze. Even though the bus line is close and it takes you right to the sub-way it can become quickly mundane to have that kind of commute (especially on vacation). But for the price it’s really hard to beat!

Spacious and clean room, high quality bedding and comfortable bed. Very good breakfast and kids eat free.
20 mins to NYC. Reasonable price for the hotel compare than staying in hotel around NYC. NJ transit bus serve the transport to NYC right in the corner of the hotel, very convenient and less stress.

The event that happened was a Castle Point Anime convention. As it was my first time going to that social activity, I loved it very much and I hope to continue being great as this weekend that happened.

Great room size, friendly service, location was right outside event area and front desk attendents were very friendly.

Just stop by the get a quick drink. Hotel located in prime area with tons of shopping available.

I give this 3 out of 5 because I liked the beds but I didn't like the showers because it was too pressurized which doesn't come in handy when you want to wash your face. The bathroom had no bath mat and I had to use a towel. The bathroom got really steamy when I got out of the shower. No place to put your dirty towels. And I personally recommend having black curtains which they didn't have they had a white curtain with a shear curtain in front of it a little hard to find the white curtain. And took time to find how to work the shower head. I recommend this hotel but be ready for all of these and they serve the same breakfast everyday juice, cereal (cheerios and special k protein), muffins, eggs, bacon, and potatoes.

Good staff and comfortable room for stay. They should provide complimentary water and initial kit to every guest. That's only missing else I would have given 5 out of 5

Garbage staff, security, management, even the restaurant people. IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR, LIKE MYSELF, STAY AWAY! This place does not want us there. Had GoPro stolen from my bag, staff didn't care or do anything about it, stop probably not the first time, or they are complicit. Dirty room, boogers on walls, bathroom smelled like a urinal, creepy perverts roaming the halls at night. and extremely rude to every person of color there. Noticed this same rude behavior repeatedly. I will never stay here again, don't recommend, constantly on the Priceline express deals, so becareful. I recommend the American Extended Stay, 6mins away, big rooms with kitchens. Also recommended Red Roof Inn same area, nice staff clean rooms. STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! BTW I'm a retired disabled veteran.

For some reason this hotel has decided to not allow their new credit card system to accept Samsung Pay. Tried six times and their system would not allow an authenticaton code to be received. One swipe of a card and everything is fine. System will not allow chip cards either. You must swipe. Hotel needs a major update/renovation. The staff has no idea what meeting rooms they have in the hotel. They believe that they are all on the 2nd floor, which is not true. At least 4 employees were asked this question and none of them knew the answer. Also, if you are not at the Spire level you will not get an upgrade unless the hotel is close to empty.

Very disappointed on this hotel. We chose this hotel because it has a fantastic location. My husband booked the hotel over the phone and they offered him breakfast for an additional cost, so he said yes that was fine. We arrived and the rooms were clean and spacious. The next day in the morning we went to have some breakfast and the problems started, the elevator didn't work we had to call the front desk to send someone for us. When we went to serve our breakfast we were informed that we were not allowed to have breakfast which was very confusing after my husband agreed over the phone to pay for breakfast, that was a pretty embarrassing moment with all the eyes on us from the rest of guests. We went to the front desk and the lady there told us that they charged us just for the cheapest breakfast which meant that just our toddler could have breakfast. That was the first time we heard about it. So I told them I've never heard of such a thing you usually pay for breakfast for everybody in the room not just a toddler, the lady answered in a very arrogant way that it was their policy. I absolutely agree that the hotel is entitled to have the policies they please, however I consider absolutely disrespectful and tricky not to inform those policies PROPERLY to the customer. No apologies were given and at this point I don't even need to mention that I will never ever visit this hotel again.

Excellent location.

Hotel is in a great area, easy access to NYC and also plenty of stuff to do right in areathat you don't need a car. Only problem we had was that the kids in the next room we're so loud at 330 in the morning that they woke me from a dead sleep. Called down to front desk and the problem was solved immediately.

Location and rooms were good. But there was no breakfast provided. The onsite parking was extra charges and the free parking was a little bit away from the hotel and we have to walk to get to the car.

The beds we're very comfortable. Rooms were very nice. The continental breakfast was very limited and not very good. Certainly not worth the $16.00 price tag per person.

It was really good. The hotel is located in a nice place. Staff were good. Front desk people were very kind and helpful. Breakfast should be changed on atleast alternate days. People will get bored eating the same breakfast everyday. That's the Only discomfort I had. Overall it's the best hotel.

Very clean, very nice staff! The Starbucks wasn't open the whole weekend, but free coffee In the lobby! The bus stop is a 2min walk away and takes you right into Manhattan! I would definitely recommend and also stay here again!

Great hotel. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Lots of great food and entertainment in close walking distance. Bus line in to NYC $8.50 round trip is 100 yards from the front door and is a quick ride even during rush hour. Oversized parking is available very close by. Great base for exploring New York.

Nice rooms and good service but I heard that the hotel across the street is a bit nicer and like the same price.

Good location behind a large strip mall where food and shopping options were plenty. The breakfast in the hotel itself was good with acceptable variety. Convenient bus stop right in front with bus to Manhattan. The room was big with good amenities for our one-night stay.

Great facility. Nice and clean. Very spacious room and comfy beds. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel, route 320 takes you straight to port authority terminal in downtown NYC in 20 mins. Great place to stay if you're travelling to New York. NYC hotels are overpriced and cramped and often noisy.

Hotel is lovely… Centrally located… Lots of restaurants available… Housekeeping barely did anything other than make our bed which was not changed.

Been waiting over hour to check in! Continues excuse that the rooms are not ready! Now Staff is saying the computer system is down and they're getting rude!

The rooms are really comfortable. Staff is very friendly too. Breakfast is only available for two per room. Additional costs 15 dollars each. They have parking garages available. One is free and the other paid. They also have remote parking for oversized vehicles which is an open lot.

Everything looks great when you walk in the hotel. I got to my room and with in 15 min the toilet overflowed. The tv, microwave and air conditioner are all on the same breaker so we lost power to these appliances three times the night we stayed. Location was good but other than than I wouldn't stay here again. Not worth the money.

Great Hotel! Everything was very clean, staff was friendly, beds were comfortable, a/c worked well!
The only bad thing was the parking… you have to park in a parking garage a block and a half away. Climbing up and down the steps with luggage isn't fun. Plus, the walkway from the garage to the hotel is poorly lit late at night.

The Holiday Inn was superb! Very clean. Great choice of food and restaurants. Had a Starbucks. Staff were friendly. Cheap and secure parking.

My husband and I stopped in to the coffee bar for a quick bite to eat before catching a movie. The seating area was clean, the waitress was friendly and the prices were reasonable. There weren't a ton of options, but we each found something that worked.

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel was sleek and modern, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice. Overall a great budget hotel stay.

Hotel was nice. Staff was a little sneaky on the pricing though and don't like having to pay for parking. Other then that it was good.

Terrible parking situation. You have to pay for parking if you are staying or attending a conference at this hotel. There are no accommodations made for individuals who have back issues and need to park close by. You are told to pay for close parking or park at the hyatt on the third flood. This is simply ridiculous!

Location is great. It's super fast to get to NYC. Parking is free and easy to find. There are a lot of restaurants and stores around if you forget anything. The rooms are clean. Some are a little dated but are overall clean. For the price they really should include a free breakfast. If your here on a business trip the business center leaves a little to be desired. The gym is OK. It has a few treadmills and ellipticals but nothing too fancy. If you find a deal on it I would take it, but you might want to check what price the embassy suites will give you during the same stay first.

Great location. Urban plum restaurant/breakfast place attached employees aren't very hospitable. But breakfast was delicious! Rooms were clean and decent though Ive seen better. Outlets weren't functional! Overall for the price if there aren't other choice I would go back.

They suck horrible management. Don't ever come to this hotel. Got bed bugs that has bitten me. Managers are no good.

Charged for two nights when I stayed for one, disputed the charge and they argued with me, claiming they can't look back at information. Now I've been put on hold for 11 minutes.

Not very good. They need to look at the management of this place. I wasn't happy.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights from Dec 27 to Dec 30. We booked online and were told when we got to the hotel that they couldn't check us in because the 3rd party provider's credit card was declining. However, turns out it was the Holiday Inn's error and they had been paid two days after I booked the room on Dec 5. If that wasn't bad enough, my daughter ended up with bed bug bites. Wouldn't stay here again although the price was right.
