Hyatt is a wonderful place. Staff is professional and courteous. Great location downtown New Brunswick by all the amenities.

Something I can’t quite get over… this is a convention hotel. At conventions you commonly stay with colleagues, coworkers or friends. In those situations (and even if you’re staying with family), these bathrooms are suuuuper awkward. Not only do they not lock… they don’t even close all the way. And the rooms are very not sound proof—I was hearing toilets flush in other rooms all night long. This hotel has a lot of good things about it but those two knock it down in my book. Update: After writing the above review, I was reminded of additional lack of customer service I've had at this hotel including no service when I noticed trash (read: used condom wrappers) under the bed or leaving my friends and I sitting in the lobby for hours waiting for a room. For their price-point, they need to do better than that.

Beautiful hotel in downtown New Brunswick, very popular for business travelers. Excellent bar and restaurant. Architecture very nice inside. A lot of conference rooms for corporate events.

Great hotel with pleasant staff. Extremely clean and nicely set up lobby. Ballroom was amazing and the bathrooms were spotless.

Stayed here while attending a large Ed conference. Rooms were great: clean, spacious, temp control. The meeting spaces we're well organized with sound systems and monitors sufficient to make presentations easy to hear and see.

No parking… very bad rooms. Very old hotel. Try not to visit for next couple of months. They are renovating things.

I was performing there for the jazz series that happens here. I enjoyed my time with the people that came to listen to the music. It's fairly informal in the restaurant/bar area where the music often happens but I preferred performing in the downstairs conference area where the music recieves a stronger focus from the audience.

My association held a conference here. Service and responsiveness was great. The lunch was very good, though I did find the protein options salty. We will definitely be back.

Very nice room. Comfortable and spacious. Within walking distance of a few restaurants. Elevators on the first floor not the easiest to find.

We stay at the Hyatt in New Brunswick frequently. The hotel is in walking distance to the train station, many eating establishments and it's a close drive to the airport. Overall, this hotel is very well managed and we've never had a bad experience. We especially love Abby who seems to do it all with a big heart and a smile.

Clean, friendly staff, good food and good coffee. The meeting facilities are plentiful with good sound and good visibility. Also plenty of places to sit and get some work done. Parking garage attached to hotel but you have to get there early enough to park in the garage. But there are other parking facilities around the hotel.

The Hyatt Regency is from my perspective the nicest hotel in this area. Centrally located and well managed. Very nice and modern lobby. Spacious clean classic rooms. Comfy and cost beds. Good meeting facilities and service. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Hyatt Regency New Brunswick is a great place for a company Holiday party. The staff is very professional and the food is exactly what you expect from a great hotel like the Hyatt Regency also there is a very good bar.

Good: staff was friendly and rooms were clean (but dated). Restaurant food was good. Bad: mattress in my room was horrible. Restaurant service was poor (took us 2 hours to have dinner)

I was there to attend a 3 day conference. The hotel staff were exemplary in making sure all of our needs to keep the conference smooth were met. It didn't matter if we needed chairs or tablecloths, help in setting up our banquet pieces or room arrangements, they delivered. I will absolutely recommend this hotel the next time our conference returns to this area.

I love this place because they cater to me with kindness and the rooms are comfortable.

Lobby is nice, restaurant and bar are great. Food is very good but expensive. Rooms are large and cosy. There is no fridge, you need to ask for one. Room cleaning does not fix the room properly, does not renew soaps or water bottles etc. They barely touch the room, even so much that it is hard to tell if they came or not.

It's never fun when they tell you it's going to be $22 to park in their empty parking garage. You can park overnight for free on the street, the meters kick in at 8am (don't let them tell you it's 7am). Also: annoying that you can't use the stairwell to walk a floor down to the lobby (it'll trigger the fire alarm). Rooms were great and comfy and clean though.

Warm welcome on a child night at a very nice and comfortable night is all one needs before starting the next day. The place is definitely being renovated which is apparent from the fact there is no hot water in the showers.

Nice, modern hotel with a spacious area for our work function however seating was limited. The food was nothing special and there was a limited choice. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We found this Hyatt to be a bit impersonal compared to other Hyatts we have stayed at. Overnight parking was an expensive and unexpected add-on. Room was fine, but not what we have come to expect from the brand.

Its very comfortable with a nice matress and fluffy pillows. We got a suite upgrade. Although no balcony because they were doing renovations.

The lobby was recently renovated, gorgeous. Does not set you up for the how the rooms will look. You can tell the hotel is older. Not my favorite Hyatt and I don't know if I'll be going back due to the price of the rooms and not to mention you have to either valet, pay for parking in the attached parking garage ($22 night) or find street parking, which is also not free. Overall experience was okay.

Situated conveniently close to the highway, the Hyatt places one right at the heart of New Brunswick. If timed correctly, the Hyatt's parking structure is open to anyone at highly competitive hourly rates.

Great location and service. From time we checked in to watching the game at the bar to checking out, the service was incredible. If your at the bar try the smoked crab bisque.

Beautiful hotel, womderful in all aspects except it has the worst Internet access I have ever experienced in any hotel. Truly. Unfortunately, this is a business hotel, which means Internet access is vital. I am actually leaving a conference early because I cannot get any work done between sessions. That’s a waste of a lot of money and effort. I decided to time the length of time I was able to stay connected to their password-free Wi-Fi. Average time: 12 seconds. At no point in the last 36 hours did I stay connected more than 53 seconds. Overwhelmingly, my attempts were all under 10 seconds. In this day and age, you can have paint peeling off the walls, inedible food, moldy smells, dirty bathrooms and unpleasant staff, none of which are a problem here, but if a business hotel keeps guests connected online, all is forgiven. On the flip side, not doing so is the only memory a guest will remember.

The location of the hotel is conveniently located right by Rutgers University as well as some local restaurants. I attended a show there for work so I did not end up staying in the hotel rooms. To my knowledge the service was good and I like the Starbucks coffee that they had as well as the happy hour o'dourves.

The rooms had no mini refrigerator you have to pay an additional $75. And no microwave. Even the smallest hotels I have stayed in have that. Thay have 2 water bottles in the room next to the coffee maker. You are charged if you use the water bottles lol. The people cleaning the rooms didn't change the pillow cases or sheets. I had to go and do it my self. Hall way rugs are all stained up. Room service is really nice and good people. House keeping was in the room next door for about 4+ hours pretending to work for all three days that I booked no exaggeration. But couldn't change the sheets? I don't mind paying for a comfortable room and the bed was comfortable. But having to take a hike just to get a cold drink at night isn't. Not being able to heat up your leftovers isn't either. Knowing that your sheets are not being changed does not leave a good impression. I definitely will not be making any future reservations. Its a shame become the rest of the hotel is beautiful. But I'm just walking through those areas not sleeping in them.

The hotel is very classy and is a great place for weddings. The service is snappy and the servers are very polite. The phone system is a little complicated and needs a little getting used to. For some reason, there are no locks on the restroom, which is a HUGE inconvenience, but overall, this hotel is a great place to stay for a few days.

Love this hotel, clean classy modern polite and professional. Was woken up by fire alarm to vacate at 6 am which was told it was a false alarm. Did not receive any apologies. Will return.

The Hyatt In New Brunswick Is overrated. The balcony is more of a cement porch and they need to hire more people to clean the rooms and check the hallways for garbage. On the other hand I did appreciate them charging me $22 a night for parking.

Rooms are large and clean. This hotel doesn't smell. Very nice, clean, quiet. Staff is very attentive and they make sure you are enjoying your stay. I would recommend staying hear if your passing through or staying for awhile.

I was attending a social even at this hotel and the people at the reception seemed a bit off task and were a bit rude to be frank. Apart from that, I had a great time and enjoyed my 30 minute stay there. The glass elevator was lovely and the hotel was beutiful and well maintained throughout. A very pleasant experience.

A very comfortable hotel in the middle of town within easy walking distance of 5 or 6 nice restaurants. Close to the train station as well — an hour or so from New York if your fancy a trip. The rooms are nice and well kitted out (USB plugs as well as normal plug sockets) with the usual coffee maker, ironing board etc… The facilities are pretty good, didn't make it to the gym though I did make it to the bar. The bar is comfortable and had a free pool table. Excellent. Valet parking if you need it though I didn't and can't comment on its quality. Plenty of cabs so you don't wait long is your need to be somewhere. The fire alarms work. Found that out at 5 am. But a Starbucks round the corner made the wet miserable early start easier to bear. False alarm due to a water pressure drop apparently.

The bottled water was $3 sitting in the room. The sink water was awful tasting. How hard would it be to set out a complimentary bottle of water for your guests? Other than that the bed was super comfy, room was very clean. It had a noise machine which was SO cool. I fell asleep to rain.

Outstanding service and excellent food. All courses were equally good and we VERY much enjoyed our dinner. It is terrific, frankly to have a restaurant of this quality also be BYOB.

Location is good. Many restaurants nearby. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Bathroom however did not have a lock. The lack of a fridge was a little drawback but overall very good rooms. The room came with a balcony and it was amazing.

I atteneded my office 80s party. The location is good. Initially struggled to get parking. Its my mistake I was not in time. But the help was wonderful. Food was amazing. Drinks too. I have not tasted any except pineapple juice. My friend said drink is fine.

First room had an empty wine glass outside and a stain. The hallway smelled like weed so we requested a change. The hotel very graciously moved us to a new room and even upgraded us to a suite. Very satisfied with management and their overall service. Docked stars because their tavern was very sleazy. We wanted wine and it was last call so the bar tender mentioned that we could get two glasses each or a large. We ended up with 4 larges and saw the check which was obscenely expensive. When we asked why we couldn't just be charged a bottle and finish it off he said he poured out more than one bottle which he clearly didn't, that he couldn't change it because it was already charged, and that he'd have to call the manager. Finally he just muttered that it was a few bucks anyway so who cared even though it was a matter of 20 bucks and then basically ignored us. Aside from that very nice looking and well kept hotel with friendly staff.

I went to the Hyatt for an event this past Sunday Sept 25th, 2016. I really like this hotel, the parking is very convenient, the space is beautiful, and the staff is very hospitable. They do a great job with weddings as well as corporate events. I would recommend this hotel for any sort of event.

None of the receipts make any senses, you end up paying MORE than you were told to pay in the first place. Had to pay online, and then was asked to pay AGAIN as soon as I got to the hotel. My card got charged TWICE and nobody seems to care. Seems there are always problems with these upper-class hotels. Don't stay here if you're a NORMAL PERSON, you will be charged an arm and a leg.

Love the Hyatt hotels. They never disappoint. Everything from Mickelson the Bartender to Nicole at the front desk was great. Great restaurants in walking distance. Definitely would stay there again.

Stayed in a king room while on a company trip. Had some issues with being charged incorrectly but the staff was very helpful and quick to resolve my issue! Would definitely stay here again! Hotel is clean. Smoke area is covered, with a place to throw away cigarettes. Enjoyed my stay very much!

This was a nice venue for my workshop. Had to pay for parking, which was a little pricey. Great places to eat within 10 mins walk.

Staff was excellent! Rooms were neat and clean. Food via room service was pricey, but delicious. My only concern was the noise level in the hotel. A prom was going on on main level so it was incredibly loud and noisy there! Otherwise, nice hotel. Will visit again.

This is a very nice hotel in downtown New Brunswick. It's close to many restaurants and bars, to the train station and also to many office buildings. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We got a nice corner suite with sliding doors on the bedroom. I recommend this hotel for every occasion!

I loved this hotel. The staff was really nice from the time we checked in until we left. Every person we met that worked at the hotel went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The assortment of cookies at the front desk was amazing! Prob the most fav parr of staying here. The room was big and everything was clean. We enjoyed our stay here.

I have stayed many times before. Its in a great location with tons of restaurants and a comedy club up the street. The lobby is very nice. The rooms are spacious and clean. I never ate at the restaurant on site but it's always crowded so it must be good. If your looking to swim the pool is indoors and open to 11pm. Its something great to do when you want to relax. They have a gym and a jacuzzi as well. I would highly recommend this hotel for everyone of all ages.

Rooms are pretty standard, and hotel staff is pretty responsive to requests for changes in the set up if the meeting room. However, the Wi-Fi for the meeting rooms is spotty and the food they provide is subpar.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was free and served until 10:30 am, very convenient. They also provided free Wi-Fi and Parking, really good service and great place to stay.

This is going to sound like a picky review, but I am giving the hotel 1 star because my bed had 100% polyester sheets on it. I paid $300/night for the room for two nights. And for that price this hotel should have fine linens, or at least cotton. I called the front desk and they said all the sheets were the same after they checked with house keeping. It felt like I was sleeping in plastic (becasue I was). Any time I turned over static briefly lit up the room and the sheets clung to me and made me sweat. I didn't even know hotels still used polyester sheets, much less "luxury" hotels.

The rooms were very nice, tidy, and comfortable. Serveice was prompt and very willing to follow requests, even at odd hours. Employees were also very courteous in asking guests to quiet their voices during late hours.

Very clean, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend anyone for an event there. Food was excellent. Top knotch banquet staff.

Fantastic service! Hotel was nice, but service was thr big plus. Terry at the front desk was fantastic. Would stay here again. Recommend asking for a room that does not face the highway if you can.

Christine the manager will put charges on your card after you leave. Pay cash they the waiters will put tips and Alot extra charges you have take them to court to get charges off! Don't give them your card scammers.

Staff was friendly and super helpful. Atmosphere was amazing and the rooms were clean and spacious. I would host another event at this hotel be it professional or not. Would recommend! Parking and location were awesome!

Used the conference rooms for an Lsat class and I definetly think its a great place to stay if you need to.

I was recently here for a wedding. The halls were spacious and very pretty, with great lighting and ambiance. And the bar area was a great place to wait before and after the reception, with a small attached game room. I was pleasantly surprised.

The experience at the Hyatt was fantastic except for two things: the hotel room does not have a mini fridge unless your specifically request it and the thermostat can not be turned onto fan, only auto. The staff were all fantastic.

I have been staying here whenever travel to New Brunswick for work. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's within walking distance to most of the good restaurants on George st and Easton ave. Their bar and restaurant is good too.

I was there attending a convention and had a great time. The staff was very attentive and made our experience enjoyable.

I left my wallet in the room with my room key and my photo is. The front desk was very helpful in getting this resolved quickly. Maybe took 2 minutes from my day which I appreciated.

Disgusting hotel! would never stay again! 1. Room was dirty, garbage can had garbage, couch in the room had stains, I dont even want to know what kind of stains it was I asked for and extra sheet to cover the couch so I dont have to look at the disgusting stain! 2. Shower was gross, peeling, paint coming off it seems that they are so cheap that they just paint the shower 3. Party all night, they had guest next to me smoking weed and partying, they were never evicted, called the front desk 4 times, and there were no help, wanted to move my room at 3am? are you F** kidding me? move my room? it wasn't even me who was being a nuisance… 4. Lack of manager follow up, asked for the manager of the hotel was given the card to tomassie never got a follow up back… Unprofessional, management staff that dont care! save your money! this dump is worst than a motel.

I have not went to this hotel but im looking forward to. Most of the comments I read were very good reviews. I am going to call this hotel the best hotel in the whole wide regency of hotels.

From the time I walked in I was shocked at how nice the hotel was set up. The front desk greeted me with all smiles. I believe the young woman's name was Nisha which helped me out with a place to eat locally by the name of Deltas and the food was amazing. The room was very spacious and very clean. The same is to be said about the bathroom area also. Whej calling to the front desk they were very attentive and quick to resolve my "minor" needs. I left my toothbrush and after I called down to the front desk I had one within 5 minutes.

It appears the reviews are a little harsh. I was met at the front door by a true gentleman from Ethiopia with a smile as wide as the Nile River. The front desk team (Terry and Chyna) were extremely helpful and professional. I stay 100+ nights per year and it is a pleasure to have the consistent quality of a Hyatt with a superb staff.

I sent two employees here while attending a training at Rutgers. Even though I had sent explicit instructions to process the payment three days in advance prior to the employees' arrival so that they would not have to provide a personal credit card, no attempt was made prior to their arrival, despite reminder a reminder voicemail. When our employees went to check in there was a problem securing payment, at which point they failed to call my personal number listed on the credit card authorization form and it turned into quite a fiasco. Not hearing about this until the next day, I called the manager that I had been working with all along, and while he apologized profusely he made no effort to offer any sort of compensation. I am truly disappointed with customer service on many levels and will do everything in my power to avoid using their services in the future.

Cons: Single most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever had. I got maybe 30min of sleep all night. Lots of fluffy pillows, but you'll need every one since they squish down to nothing as soon as you put your head on them. Forced to pay for parking in their parking garage, no other parking was offered. Wifi is $10/day. No toilet paper in the bathroom, guess when I found that out? The only vegetarian option on the menu was a garden salad. There wasn't even pasta. Pros: The pool and hot tub were fantastic. The gym looked decent but I didn't have a chance to use it. Neutrogena soap and lotion in the bathroom, shampoo and conditioner were a different brand but I liked them too. I wouldn't stay here again, you can get a more comfortable room for your money.
