This was a decent Motel 6. I slept well and felt comfy, but my wife thought the bed was too hard. It didn't have a fridge or a microwave (some do), but it was pretty clean. The tough part was getting to it… We're not used to New Jersey (or maybe just East Brunswick? ) U-turns and left-turns, so it was pretty confusing getting to it (you can't enter at the motel sign, and instead you have to go to a special u-turn area that then takes you across the main street and behind the hotel… in short, confusing, so pay attention to your GPS.

Wonderful welcome. A very clean and well presented room. The shower was superb. The receptionist was in top form and made us feel very welcome. Great coffee in the morning. Would not hesitate in staying here again.

Loved the floor in the room (no carpet). Loved the mulched surroundings around the outside. Loved the attitude and helpfulness of the staff. You were on the list of pet friendly locations provided by the Bayshore Companion Dog Club for their recent event. This was the dog friendliest place we have ever stayed.

You NEED to change the address on your confirmation. I spent over a 1/2 hour trying to find a way to get to the hotel, as I passed it over 6 times. I finally called the hotel and they gave me another address and I was able to get there with no problem. I feel I should be compensated for my time due to YOUR error. I always use Motel 6 if available. I always recommend those that I've stayed at for dog shows. But this was the worst in regards to actually getting there due to the address that was given on my confirmation slip. I hope you can give me a free night for my next dog event. otherwise, the staff was awesome and helpful getting me there with the address that THEY provided … the room was good and the grounds were nice. I loved the doggie bag station right off the room I was in. Excellent.

It was very clean, the front desk people were very friendly and nice. The room was so big and spacious and best of all HARDWOOD FLOORS!

The staff was very friendly and pleasant. And by the staff, I mean everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers. The room was really nice and comfortable and clean as well!

Quieter than I expected. No amenities in room, bring your own toiletries. Microwave in lobby only. No breakfast just coffee. Staff is friendly.

Very quiet place to stay. Best sleep I've had in hotel and we stay in a lot. Great coffee and ice machine too.

1. It was very difficult and confusing to access entrance to the motel from the main road. 2. The room did not appear clean. There were hairs (not ours) in both beds. There were not sufficient towels. Although the reservation was made for 3 adults, there was only one washcloth and it did not look clean. 3. The toilet stopped working after a couple of flushes. The young man at the desk attempted to fix it, to no avail. Our room needed to be changed. This was a huge inconvenience after unpacking the car after a very long day on the road. 4. On the way down, we stayed in a Motel 6 in Salisbury. It had a refrigerator and free Wi-Fi. When asked why the room in East Brunswick did not have these amenities, we were told they cost extra and there was no room available with a fridge.

Checking was quick! The room was clean and a good price. Everyone was friendly and we will stay there again. Oh by the way I have stayed here a few times. I like the place. Joe.

Room was nice. Cool look, and fairly clean. Heat worked well. Front desk guy was nice, and professional. Parking area was a bit cramped, and some of the people wandering around looked seedy, but once inside, the place was better than expected.

Paper thin walls, a severe lack of in room amenities, and as for the beds, I have slept on more comfortable floors. The largest cardinal sin pay-per-day Wi-Fi. This place is cheap. Only good things were good customer service, with clean and spacious rooms.

Had us leave the motel and put us on a do not rent list because their manager Beth didn't like it that I went above her head to corporate over a simple inquiry. Great way to treat good customers. I hope she gets fired. Her entire staff is leaving her on her butt. Serves her right. I wouldn't work for that trash either.

The positives: The night manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bedding smelled fresh. Parking was close to the building, and free. The vending machines were full. The free morning coffee was good. The negatives: The TV went from medium dark to very dark with no adjustment button on the remote. The fan on the heater blower woke me up at 3 in the morning. The outside light in front of my room (211) shone through the top and sides of the draperies while the ill-fitting entry door allowed light to flood through the entire perimeter of the door. I had to place a towel on the floor to keep out some of the light. Also, the entry doors do not close gently; I heard 4 people at the end of the hall leave between 4 and 6 am. The walls do not keep out street noises. I heard air brakes, distant construction and a short conversation before my alarm went off for me to go to work. The second day, a family with Very young kids ran up and down in their room above me. The concrete floors did not keep their playful screaming or their footfalls contained in their room. I almost ran for help when the brash sounds of what I later determined was the water pressure from the bath or shower from the room above, mixed with the blower in the vent which comes on when you turn the bathroom light on. I heard an argument in the hall between a man and a woman, with the F___word yelled numerous times by the man demanding rent money from one of the long-termed guests.

It would be nice to have a fridge and or a microwave in the room. There was a leak under the sink in one room and the floor was coming up in the bathroom from a continuous leak in another. The front desk staff is confused on correct procedures. The floors in the room should be mopped and not just swept. It would be nice to be able to stay at a location longer than 28 days without being told we have to leave after that many days. I've never been told this by any other motel or hotel. Its ridiculous.

The staff was nice but the rooms need updating. And laundry softener would be a good idea. The towels extremely rough.

As always, I enjoy knowing that the Motel 6 is at my disposal, It never fails to make my travels a comfort when I decide to stay. Staff are outstanding. Keep up the good work. I never have a worry I ask for a room in a certain area and never questioned I am looked after.

The front desk folks were wonderful! First time staying here. Clean, warm room as it was cold outside. Great showers.

I stay here every few weeks to get alone time for myself away from my family and I stood at the hotel last night and everything was decent, staff was nice but I got charged two times for my room and when I called back the following day to try and get my refund for THEIR mistake they've been giving me the run around and making it difficult. I still have not gotten my refund and the man who promised to call me back had such a bad attitude on the phone as if I was bothering him for doing his job.

Had a great sleep. Staff was polite, pleasant and helpful. I understand place was just renovated but in the room there was rust on both sides of the hand rail in the shower and there was some type of Odor. The cleaning service did their job the room was clean nothing was out of place or not cleaned.

Room was clean & spacious. Good value for money. However would not stay here if I had better financial options because the rooms do not have microwaves/fridges. One microwave in the lobby of a premises of this size is insufficient.

Just and necessary, they give coffee in the morning, but would miss that breakfast is included.

It is very quiet, good and economic.

The room was very clean. Front desk personnel were very nice and attentive. My room was off the parking lot near the front desk so the area was very well lit and I felt safe as a solo woman traveler. The only negative was that they didn't have free Wi-Fi. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

Fantastic deal. This room was a fraction of the price usually asked for in this area. Also found it at 11:30pm. Quiet, clean, later checkout, free coffee in the morning and cheerfull people at the desk. Plenty of parking space. No noisy neighbors. All that for $60!

The staff at the Motel 6 were pretty bland. Not particularly pleasant or helpful but not rude either. The room we stayed in was quite unusual. It was so large. But there was almost no furniture in it. Just a bed, mounted seating area in one corner, a mini fridge and a microwave. It had hardwood floors which was nice. The blanket situation was not great, the bedding was thin and not great for sleeping. There was a walk in closet. The bathroom was my favorite thing about the stay. Wonderfully renovated, great water pressure.

It was. A great experience. Motel 6 is a nice and quiet motel. I like the rooms too, always clean and up to. Date. I stay their every now and then when I want to get away. Every visit is the same as always which is always enjoyable.

The location is excellent although the road configuration in E. Brunswick is very strange which makes it confusing when trying to get to the motel. The lady at the front desk was most helpful during check-in. The room was clean and the bed comfortable; however, the room itself is becoming a bit shabby. Since your motel is the only one I have found that is truly pet friendly for cats, I hope the standard of the rooms will be maintained.

Finding my way in to the parking lot was a bit confusing but once there, I was greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. As far as the room goes, It was clean. What much more could you ask for someone who just wants a place to rest for the night before continuing on their travels. I would definitely stay there again next time I'm traveling thru the area. For the price you can't go wrong.

Very nice for such a low price. Studio room has kitchenette with stove top microwave and full size refrigerator. 32'' flat screen tv. Full size bathroom. The rooms are very clean and don't smell like cigarette smoke. You get fresh towels and was clothes every day when you switch the old ones out as well as dish clothes. The rooms also come with glass plates 2 glass much 2 hard plastic cups utensils pot pan and skillet and a toasted. The down side is you can barely find anyone at the front test. They aren't to professional. They are aloud to clean your room once a week on a designated day but skipped me twice. And just last night I saw a roach on the wall. I have been there 3 weeks and this was the first and only time. About this. But over all coming from an extremely picky person this is a great extended stay.

The chair in the room was not clean. There was a lot of long black hair on the bathroom floor. The linen on the bed had black stuff on it. I was not very pleased with the visit. Ive had better experiences at other motel 6's! The light was not left on I walked into a dark hot room!

I loved the great service… from check-in to check-out. I was running away from Hurrican Irma and was short on cash. I drove from Miami to your location with 3 girls. Once I went inside the price was very reasonable, your staff knowledge on every eatery and local spots to get supplies. I was also offered to use the fridge that employees use. I only wish that you guys had anti slip mats in your tubs. (My 4 yr old almost slipped) I also wished you had basics like hair dryer and fridge.

The lady at the Front Desk did an amazing job. I called hysterical because I could not figure out how to get into the entrance of the motel. Right away she told me she was going to help me, I was going to be fine and she is staying on the phone with me until I get in. It took me 10 to 15 minutes and true to her word she stayed with me. In my opinion she went above and beyond and I truly appreciate it.

Great location, the staff was very pleasant and accomodating. The room was very clean and spacious. Flat screen mounted, loads of channels. My only issue was a leak in the ceiling above one of the beds but I have seen worse so we managed for a pass through one night stay heading to South Carolina.

Hi, the room was clean, big, and pleasant. The heater /air conditioner worked fine, the bathroom was clean. I noticed a plastic cup under the bed, housekeeping must have missed it, but no big deal. One thing that would be nice is to have a program guide for the TV. We were able to look online to find Dish-TV's lineup, but we had to scroll through all the channels we weren't receiving to get to the ones that were included in our room's line-up. Not a big deal, but I'll bet other guests have thought the same thing.

The staff was super friendly, the manager is a complete sweetheart! The room was very clean and everyone was very helpful with anything that was needed. Price for the room was good too! I would stay there again for sure!

Very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and everything was recently renovated. Not fancy, it was a bit bare bones but still a good stay. It is a little difficult to find the entrance to the hotel. Parking was hard to find late at night. They do not provide shampoo so remember to bring your own. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. If I need to come back to this area, I will stay again.

This is our second stay at this facility. Did not disappoint! Our room was clean and comfortable. Ground floor with close parking. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. We travel with our dogs and the potty area is clean and well lit providing waste bags and a trash can. Our go to location when showing in East Freehold! Thanks for another good sleep!

We had a truck that was taking four parking spaces in front of our room! At 6:15 He parted his truck it woke us especially in addition he left just at 6:40. I do not like the display and towel bath is very dirty even if the room has been renovated it is already in a bad state I did not find this place safe for a couple. For me it's a truck stop.

Clean and tidy. The staff is wonderfully friendly. If they weren't, I wouldn't want to come here. I've stayed in a Motel 6 in Piscataway and the staff and manager were deplorable. And it was dumpy. This Motel 6, in East Brunswick, is the polar opposite. Like heaven and hell. And the manager of Motel 6 in East Brunswick is absolutely wonderful! Beth is the best! Don't let her go! She makes this place a pleasure to visit!

This motel is absolutely awful! When I tried taking a shower the entire bathroom was covered in water! Also when my husband and I were getting ready to go to sleep, we discovered our windows didn't even close! And our heat didn't work! By far the worst service I've gotten in my entire life.

The room was just ok. Not great, not awful. Expensive for a weekday. Amenities were VERY minimal — a single bar of cheap soap, a few plastic cups near sink. Sink outlet did not work. I also didn't like the fact that you had to pay for Wi-Fi. Room could use a general update, and bathtub basin was worn from use/age.

Pros: The room was updated and pretty nice, and the room rate was reasonable. There is no extra charge for parking. The staff members were friendly in general. Cons: The linens, particularly all the towels, had a lot foreign (as in, not mine) hairs on them. There are no hairdryers in the rooms; they allegedly have some to loan to guests, but they never had one when I asked (and I have really long hair) ; Beth (perhaps a manager? ) said she would buy more and make sure I got one, which never happened. There is no continental breakfast. You have to pay either $3 (slow speed) or $5 (decent speed) per day for Wi-Fi. Finding the entrance is also extremely difficult since you can't enter from 18, GPS directions don't tell you to get on Edgeboro Rd (which is what you have to do, and the Motel 6 sign just says "take next u-turn, " which is not in any way helpful.

How do you expect someone to pay for Wi-Fi and IT SUCKS! I stay at plenty of hotels with free Wi-Fi and 10 times more efficient. I own my own business and Wi-Fi is a must. Rooms are great but for business no good.

I have been renting rooms for over 25 years, and the night attendant at this motel 6, a black girl whose name I don't know, is the most arrogant, obnoxious hotel staffer I have EVER encountered. For anyone who hasn't stayed at this particular location, be advised there is a separate building called "studio 6". I was unaware of this and found myself walking the hallways of "studio 6" trying to find a front desk. I placed a cell call to the aforementioned obnoxious host, and told her my GPS sent me here. I described the building, to include the elevator I just walked past. She informed me that studio 6 had an elevator, motel 6 didn't. And she wished me luck finding this particular motel 6. All she had to do was tell me it was the building right behind where I was. But no, so I got in my car and drove an additional 15 minutes trying to figure things out and finally arrived. The obnoxious one had a smirk on her face when I arrived and told her who I was, obviously taking pleasure in the little game she just played with me. When I told her it was unwarranted and not very funny, she told me I "need to be quiet because she is becoming uncomfortable, and when she gets uncomfortable, she just won't rent the room to me. " I took my money and ID and went on my way. Its an absolute disgrace. I have been a regular patron of Motel 6 for years. That ended tonight.

Stayed at the location on Rt. 18 in New Brunswick. The rates were great, the rooms recently renovated with hardwood floors and modern decor, and the staff were very friendly. The area is a bit quiet in terms of food service but that's really the only drawback.

Simple basic nice clean room. The staff members all greeted me with smiles while checking in and out. The staff was totally professional and I highly recommend.

We stayed at this motel as I had business in New York and we were traveling with our dog. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Unlike many low budget motels this one is far enough off the highway that you don't hear any traffic. It does make getting into the place the first time tricky but once you figure out the bizarre road system in this part of New Jersey you are OK. The NJ Transit station is less than a 10 minute drive and it takes around an hour to be at Penn Station in New York. The $13 ride ($5.95 if you are over 62 or disabled) is a lot less than trying to park in New York, after you have paid more than that in tolls to get into the city.

I am a long haul trucker and stay at motel 6 all across the country. What I have to say takes very few words. This Studio 6 is the Flagship of the chain! This has been the best stay out of ANY Motel or Studio 6 I have ever stayed in. From the quality of the property to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Right down to the cleanliness of the room and all amenities available and working. The property is surrounded by malls grocery stores, restaurants, beer stores, salons and entertainment venues. It is close to all major traffic arteries and is easily accessible. (Note: There are no left turns in New Jersey) Motel 6 has a trucker discount that I get from my DAT application (Hotels for Truckers) And Studio 6 give a 10% discount for AARP and Military. (I just showed my record of service) I highly suggest that you make your reservations online and mention these discounts to the representative. There is also parking for tractor AND trailer. And plenty of room for the pooches to stretch their legs.

We have stayed there multiple times and every time it has been clean and comfortable. Nice staff. Every time we are in the N NJ or lower NY area we drive out if our way to stay there.

Was in area for Special Olympics State Bowling Competitions for 2 days. Needed a motel close by and affordable. Very satisfied with our stay. Check-in and check-out was quick. Mattress was a little firmer than I like but I did get a good nights' sleep. I would stay again at this motel if in the area again for an overnight stay.

This Motel 6 has recently been renovated. The rooms look great. It has parking in the back for trucks and trailers (good for racers). Desk staff Marya and Amera are very curteous and efficient. It's a great location for a racer on a budget. Nights are quiet (or maybe I slept through everything! ) It's also close to New Brunswick for a night on the town. I've stayed at this Motel many times throughout the years and it's only gotten better.

Excellent cleaning service.
