This was our second stay at the Almondy Inn. We love the charm of the Inn. It’s comfortable and clean and Claudette is so welcoming❣️. Delicious breakfasts. Easy access to restaurants and shops — just an easy 5-minute walk. We’ll definitely return.

My husband and I stayed two nights and absolutely loved it. You can’t beat the location in downtown Newport. The inn keeper Claudette was amazing! She made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. We can’t wait to come back!

There are a lot of choices for your stay when traveling to Newport. I promise that you will not be disappointed when choosing the Almondy Inn. Perfect location. You can walk to all the shops, restaurants, and harbor. The rooms are clean, cozy, and beautiful. If it isn’t enough to have a good location and great rooms, you also are spoiled with a homemade breakfast that’s outstanding!, cookies and flavored water in the afternoon, and wine and cheese before dinner! I highly recommend a stay here on your next visit. I also would recommend booking through the Inn directly. Although Expedia and other booking sites offer points and discounts it can also be a hassle when needing to cancel, change or fix issues with payments.

The Almondy Inn exceeded our expectations in every way! We were supposed to go on a cruise for our honeymoon, but due to Covid, we had to plan something more local. After a lot of research we decided on the Almondy Inn and we are so glad we did! Claudette, the innkeeper was exceptional! She greeted us when we arrived and gave us all the info we needed! The room was large, clean, beautiful, and had a perfect balcony to eat our delicious, homemade breakfast in the mornings! The staff even left us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon with! The location is perfect, only a block from everything we wanted to do/see during our trip so we were able to walk everywhere and not worry about parking. The whole trip was perfect and we can’t wait to go back! Thank you Claudette and Almondy Inn staff for the best experience! We appreciate you!

Amazing place to stay! Great location to everything! Claudette~the Innkeeper and her staff are the most genuinely friendly people ever! We felt at home! The food and hospitality was 5 stars! The rooms were impeccably clean! The bed and pillows were the best ever! Wine and cheese at 5 pm everyday! Breakfast was homemade and amazing! We didn’t want to leave! What an amazing getaway! Gorgeous rooms and a great location. The beautiful sun set and sun rise over the Newport harbor from the plantation room is hard to beat. Great breakfast and the service is 5 star. I have stayed here multiple times. Super relaxing. Looking forward to the next time I visit Newport.

We brought about 26 agents from Houston Tx for a reward trip to Newport. We rented every room in the Inn. These agents have been all over the world and have stayed at 5 star resorts. They were blown away by this Newport Inn. The staff met all of their needs. The food was great and the accommodations were perfect. It is quaint without being stuffy and the location is right in the heart of Newport with some great Harbor views and a wonderful porch to relax on. You won’t be disappointed! This is such a wonderful Inn in Newport. Extremely clean, comfortable bedding, wonderful breakfast. Within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, marina. Only place we ever stay when in Newport.

The Almondy Inn is all of 4 stars and more… easy to get to, parking on site, cozy atmosphere with all the amenities you would need; great food, wine and cheese gatherings to share your excursions and talk with house mates from places around the world, warm fireplaces, great restaurants and shopping within walking distance and such inviting inn keepers and staff! Daria is the nicest hostess you can have! She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Knows all thats going on in town if you need help planning and I would come back here any day! Breakfast was great as well. Must experience this place!

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The rooms are adorable. Breakfast was delicious. The service was superb. It was such a refreshing experience. Location is perfect and in the heart of town.

Lovely bed and breakfast and an excellent value for the area. House is beautiful and accommodations are very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was wonderful. It is a little noisy in the area at night since it is in a good location for reataurants and bars but they provide ear plugs which is a nice touch.

We received a very warm welcome and were made to feel at home straight off. Our room was the Sunset Room and it was lovely and bright especially in the afternoon when the sun was shining in. A very comfortable four poster bed/good wardrobe and drawer space/coffee machine/dressing gowns and an iron and ironing board on request.
Every afternoon at 5pm our hostess prepared wine and cheese for all the guests which enabled us all to get together and chat. Claudette prepared a lovely breakfast and we all sat together around the dining table which was great — providing we all came to breakfast at the same time.
Very well situated for all the attractions of Newport.
Would recommend.
