The Howland House Inn was truly an exceptional bed and breakfast. Right in the heart and rhythm of downtown Newport; steps away from an ocean view! We could not have asked for anything more of our stay, or Karen, the Inn Keeper. Every aspect of our stay — the room, the food, the cleanliness, the location, and accommodations exceeded all expectations. I will certainly be staying here again whenever my next trip to Newport may be.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Ms. Wilson was an awesome hostess and the house was really nice. I believe it was from the 1700s and was stocked with organic and non-GMO food. Ms. Wilson shared a lot of interesting facts about Newport that made our stay more interesting. The house was located within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and tourist attractions but it was still fairly quiet. I strongly recommend staying here. Karen, thanks for the corrections.
