Horrible staff. Witnessed people being assaulted at the restaurant and the bartender and staff did NOTHING about it! Actually they supported the people who made the assault. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Best food in the area truely a hidden gem.

Very friendly staff, amazing food, beautiful views, clean and stocked pool area. Highly recommend staying here. And if they have the Boston Crème French toast you must try it!

It is a nice restaurant and lounge beautiful motel overlooking a golf course in the food look great even though I didn't have anything to eat everything on the menu sounded good.

T/C is a very nice hotel with a very friendly and hard working staff.
We were here for two days and are already looking forward to a return trip in the Fall.

Upon booking our stay I spoke with Travis who asked if we have ever stayed with you before… I told him ohhh yes and the first time was 25 years ago we spent our honeymoon there! Travis was listening and he quickly mentioned he would like to bump us up to a junior suite! I was thrilled and excited for our stay! Upon our stay we went to the lounge and sat at the bar and while talking with Dick the bar tender he gave us a round on the house to celebrate our Anniversary! There was also a friendly waitress/hostess named Bryn who went above and beyond ensuring we had a great time! Thank you so much and we look forward to staying again soon… 😉

We stayed for the first time in March for the 2-for-1 night special, and we look forward to coming back with the snowmobiles next winter. The staff was great, our junior suite was huge (sharing a pic because there are none online, and the view from our room), and the kitchenette was perfect. My kids decided not to use the pool, but it was quite nice, and the arcade was a big plus. The hubs and I enjoyed the lounge Friday night with live entertainment. Turns out the singer grew up in the area and we have mutual friends, it was nice. We also have friends in Milan who we visited while up, and they grew up with the Inn owners, small world! The restaurant? Omg SO GOOD. The wait staff was incredible, too. Will be back!

We come here every year in the spring for their buy 1 get 1 night free night! the staff is so nice and attentive. So much to do on sight and many places to travel.

Great place for a getaway for a couple or for a family, great food and friendly staff, and they have trails right behind the hotel for snowmobiling and four wheelers.

We have been coming to the Town and Country Inn for years. We come here at least 3-4 times a year and have always found the owners and staff very personable and accommodating. The prime rib is a winner every time.
Rooms are always super clean, the gym offers a wide variety of well maintained equipment so you can still stick to your daily work outs if needed. I highly recommend trying the place out. We ride out ATVs and snowmobiles right out of the parking lot onto amazing trail systems. Check it out!

Family dinner to celebrate my Dad's 85th birthday. The food was excellent and the sevice, including owner/manager, hostess, wait staff, and bus service, was superb. Thanks for an excellent night!

This review is about the restaurant. We were very pleased with the service and quality of the food. The waiters and all other staff including the lounge bartender were incredibly attentive. The venue itself was very nice. The view from the giant picture windows in the restaurant is amazing. Clearly the lounge was recently renovated and we thought the Reno job was outstanding — from the lights under the bar (hooks in front of each bar chair for coats and purses as well) to the unique inset design of the ceiling, to the lighting on stage — all very tasteful. We enjoyed the live music as well. And the best part was that our bill wasn't a bank breaker. Very reasonable. We will be going back!

Great food and courteous and efficient service. Love the Surf & Turf combonation! Along with maple bacon wrapped scallops appitizer. I was so full. A little pricey, but quite n line with finer dining in the area. I will definitely return.

We’ve been staying here for years. Love the T&C — Rooms are relatively inexpensive. Amenities like pool area, sauna/steam rm, among the best of all the hotels we stay at… the kids love it! They also have a nice gym, arcade, great restaurant and bar with live music most weekends. Strongly recommend!

We had our wedding there on June 1st, and it was incredible! The staff is so attentive and caring, I can’t say enough good things about Scott and Amanda! The food was AMAZING! The rooms (I stayed in 2 different rooms) are so clean and well cared for. It was a beautiful day at a beautiful place ❤️

We are going to be having our wedding at the T&C this August and just had our food tasting. What a fantastic experience! It was so professionally done from start to finish. Mrs. T our waitress/host was awesome. The food was delicious and the chef came out to discuss our decisions and answer questions. Absolutely top notch! We are so excited they will be hosting our wedding festivities.

We stayed here for temporary housing when my husband got promoted to the area. I can't say enough good things about them: wonderful helpful and friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, super hotel bar and food — don't miss the breakfast buffet! I enjoyed use of the pool (including whirlpool, steam room, and sauna), gym, and laundry facilities. And they are pet-friendly! Through some personal complications, we (and our dogs) ended up staying here a full two months. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It can get busy on the weekends, and they host many events, so call ahead!

I stayed at the resort for about 3 months during the week days and some weekends, awesome food! Great staff, met the owners, amazing family, people who genuinely care about your experience while at the resort and want it to be an amazing one! Well they exceeded my expectations hands down! At the end of my 3 month stay I never got to thank the people of the resort or its owners so I decided the least I could do was a review that was as unbiased as they come. After all I travel all over the country and no where have I stayed so far that has ever come close to the friendliness or service that town & country provides! So to the staff of t&c and to the Labnon family, thank you all very much! When I come to work in new Hampshire again, I know where myself and the rest of my co workers will be staying!

Nice place but a lot of the rooms are very dated. You can also end up with quite a long outside walk to your room. Pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room are nice. Drinks from the bar are very generous on the alcohol. Breakfast buffet is excellent especially for the price.

Great place to stay if your hiking or riding the trails nearby. Room was good. Pool and hot tub were great to use after riding for 10 hours. Restaurant had a good breakfast buffet and the waitstaff was fantastic! Recommend this place highly!

First time staying there. I was very disappointed in our room for the money we had to pay. Definitely not impressed at all. Our room had a bunch of bugs, dead and alive. The exterior was pretty nice, however the rooms are very outdated and needs renovated. The bathroom is very tiny. The shower head was made from a tub faucet and we didn’t have very much hot water at all. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this to anyone or ever return.

We stay here every year when we take the family to Story Land and Santas Village. We always enjoy our stay. Usually the restaurant takes forever to get served and with little ones, it makes it difficult. HOWEVER, this year, our waiter was a gentleman named Jan. He was amazing with the children and also with the adults, and he got our table of 10 served quickly and they did not get restless. Once the children went off with their own parents we did go to the hotel lounge. Usually we stay for a couple drinks then retire to our room… However they had a band playing (actually it was 2 gentlemen (one of which was named Randy) They were amazing. We ended up staying until almost midnight. After Jan's shift was done, he showed up in the lounge and also got the crowd moving. He is very much an asset to your company. This was the best evening we spent at the hotel. And we have been staying there for about 5 years now. And we will be back next year. Keep up the good work.

Love this place! The room and pool are really nice. As is the game room. The main lobby is very beautiful. My family has cone here multiple times for the holiday. We did have problems with check-in once after buying a room online. And during the holidays we decided to use the hot tub once. And it was kind of gross. But that was only one night out of about two weeks in all that we have been there.

Family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights. Had a great stay. The rooms are very roomy, we had the 2 queen beds and added the roller bed. We still had lots of room! The pool was amazing. We found the halls and general areas to be very hot. No elevator so lugging all our stuff up 3 flights of stairs was a little tough especially in the heat! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The food in the restaurant was good and well priced for the portion sizes. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

Vintage hotel nestled in the mountains of NH. Great spot to get away for a weekend with some nice perks. Hot tub/pool has worked every time I go, which I value.

We have been going here for years and it always worth it. Look for the buy 1-get 1 weekend special, one in spring and one in fall. Bar, pool, game room, restaurant, trails, and a short drive into town or to Vermont over the mountain!

Loved the Motel very nice beds were very comfortable and ate at the restaurant and that was great also especially since they have real maple syrup!

I stayed up here the weekend for Easter Seals snowmobile fundraiser and ride. Had such a blast with good friends in met so many others I had a prime rib that was absolutely Divine and perfect such a very clean beautiful place to stay. Even in the middle of the night we called the front desk to see if they had playing cards and they did! And brought them up to us. The breakfast buffet overwhelming it was great.

Guest services was great! Everyone was very nice! Dinner and Breakfast was delicious! Beds were comfy! The morning view was gorgeous. Most certainly going back!

Excellent service and incredibly clean rooms. Good price. Friendly staff. The Lounge was not as impressive. The bar tenders acted as if they were bored and hated their jobs. The "Hot" wings were cold, which is odd since they were cold and overcooked. A few could not be cut with a knife. A hammer may have been useful. Other than that, a great experience.

Town and Country in was the quintessential small town Inn. Rooms were perfectand clean. Restaurant was on site. And the pool and hot tub really hit the spot after a day of snowshoeing. Close to trails for outdoor fun. And the staff were awesome!

One of the few quality places that is open in the winter. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, food was pretty good, and the staff was super friendly. Rooms are a little dated but it looked like they are in the middle of renovations for some. Bring your own pillows though… the ones they provide are like sleeping on a stack of 10 Kleenex.

The heater blew cold air the entire time, even when the temp was turned up, the shampoo in the shower was empty, the pillow was lumpy and there was a stain on the bed spread. This was our second time staying here, and had this been the first, we'd have never returned. Hotel staff was very polite when we checked in.

Beautiful place! Excellent staff, wonderful dining experience, amazing waitress! The rooms were nice clean and well kept! Pool and hot tub were great! The fact they had an arcade was awesome and vending machines on every level!

The room I stayed in was very nice, the shower was very grungy however. The employees were professional and polite. ⚠️WARNING ⚠️ My vehicle was stolen directly in front of my room, and somehow their security footage didn't capture anyone entering the vehicle, which led law enforcement to believe it was either a guest or an employee. If you do stay here keep a tight grip on your belongings and lock your vehicle up at all times, as my roommate had items stolen from the inside of his vehicle in a 2 hour time period in broad daylight which also yielded no footage of the crime. My vehicle vanished with no trace or leads, which leads me to believe it may be a sort of inside operation, but these are only allegations.

Rooms were ok at best a good clean needed to get the cobwebs and sound proofing, bed groaned every time you moved but not as loudly as the traffic (lumber trucks) or the train passing at around 2 in the morning and the one passing at 3.47 am which seemed to go on forever! But the breakfast was ok and a fair price! And staff were friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed the room. The staff was wonderful. The food at the restaurant was not very good. You could tell the French fries had been sitting under a heat lamp. Wimpy and terrible. My husband got s seafood plate for 25 dollars and got 2 scallops 2 small shrimp a very small piece of fish. We were very disappointed in the restaurant. I wouldn't eat there again.

Located in a beautiful town with a great scenery. We stayed at Town and Country Inn on our visit to Santa's Village. Hotel was clean and comfy. Excellent pool. We ate at the restaurant which would be a great place to eat even if you didn't stay at the inn. Food was delicious. Definitely stay here again.

Our group did not stay at T&C, but we headed over for their breakfast. The food, as always, was delicious. Unfortunately, because we surprised them, the service wasn't very good. Since it was a breakfast buffet, though, only our drinks were affected. The food was great!

This hotel was great, the gentlemen at the front desk was great. He made sure our stay was very pleasant. The waitress in the restaurant for dinner was horrible. We ended up having to bring our drinks to the bar and ask for refills. We waited over 45 minutes for our dinner and it was 11pm at night, so they were dead. Other then the restaurant the stay was great.

The staff were amazing! Just amazing. The hot tub was lovely. My only compliant was that the room wallpaper was dark brown, so the whole room seemed dim.

My husband and I have been coming here now for about 20 years and 15 years now with my daughter we come here once a year sometimes twice and we wouldn't even think about staying anywhere else. This is family owned and run and the staff is exceptional it's like coming home. The restaurant is unbelievably good and the atmosphere is incredible. They serve breakfast and dinner and we have never had a bad meal and never in all these years have we ever had a problem. We have had a few little blips but they were corrected immediately and it wasn't anything even major. I can't say enough about this place. Great place to bring the family or to have a romantic getaway. There are tons of things to do very local to here in the summer and winter. I'm constantly recommending them.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Although a little squeaky. Food was good in the restaurant. Nice staff. If you're ATV riding it's about a 2 mile ride up the road to the trails.

My husband and I always stay at the T&C when we visit the area and recommend it to everyone. For that reason, we chose it for our January 2017 wedding and once again, the T&C delivered flawlessly. We had a large wedding (165 guests) and the T&C provided exceptional customer service, food and accommodations throughout the weekend. Planning was extremely easy and stress-free as Scott and his team are pros. We met with Scott once in the fall to review what we wanted to do and he really ran with it from there. He walked us step by step through the dinner service process to ensure we were getting what we wanted and understood how the evening would run. We held a Welcome reception within the lounge on Friday night with a buffet table of appetizers instead of a rehearsal dinner and it was a great way to see everyone as they got into town. Plus, the lounge always has live music on Friday nights so we were able to dance the night away without having to book a band. The wedding day itself was seamless. We had a brief ceremony in the rose room and then the reception was held in the Shelburne room upstairs. The service and attention to detail was impeccable and guests are still talking about the food and how good it was. We did a full sit-down meal but the T&C has a lot of good options if that's not your thing. I cannot stress how highly I recommend the T&C as a wedding venue. They will do whatever it takes to make it a perfect day for you.

Correct as a place. Good location, close to the Washington autoroad.
The price is a little high for the quality of the rooms… and the low soundproofing…

We had three people in a two person room and when we asked to have a cot they wanted to confirm we had three people in a two person room. Didn't bother with the cot, but the floor was very comfortable.

Good clean place to stay. There was even an alcohol wipe for the TV remote, so you can wipe it before use. Only down fall was that they were doing repairs outside at 730am. Not a good wake up call. When we told the woman at the front desk, it didn't seem to phase her. She told us that they should have put us b in the back area because there were plenty of rooms.

I never get upset about resturant and their service but this place is really bad. Had to complain about no service just to have water bought to us. It was another 1/2 hour before anyone came to take our order. I would never go back even for a free meal.

This hotel is comfortable and wecloming, they have accommodating and friendly staff, there is a hot tub, pool, steam room, and sauna which r all enjoyable. I Have come here 2 years now.

Good service. Very good for this level of hotel. Clean, good amenities. Checkin took longer than usual, and the maid service wasn't very flexible so our room wasn't cleaned because we slept in.

The Pool, hot tub, Sauna and Steam room are open to non-guests as well as guest (for a rate of $10 per person). I did not rent a room, only used the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. It was very clean, well maintained over all and it was a good experience. The only thing I would suggest is that the hot tub be hotter. It was more like a "warm tub" than a hot tub. The water from my own faucet at home comes out hotter than the water in this hot tub. Parts of it were spraying cold water. Since there are few options to "rent" the use of a pool and hot tub without a hotel stay, I am giving this place 4 stars. If they fixed this little issue with the hot tub not being very hot (perhaps they could have temp controls? ) then I would give them 5 stars.

When I went to get into my bed, I discovered a lot of long black human hair on the "fresh sheets". It was getting late so I went to the other bed, only to see what appeared to be potato chip crumbs on those "fresh sheets". There was a huge hole (it looked like a fist hole) in the wall. The front desk person put up a fuss before he reluctantly changed my room.

I went there for my moms wedding on Columbus Day weekend. Best time ever! That was my first time at the hotel, or even Gorham for that matter! The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were nice (small though). I would love to go back there at anytime. The view of the White Mountains are spectacular.

I would like to preface this by saying I have never written this bad of a review for anything before. This place has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I had to call multiple times because I was hung up on three times. During one of my calls, I asked if there was a hiker rate for AT thru-hikers and whether there was breakfast included. When we got there, we were told that breakfast was not included and that they've never had a hiker rate. So we were blatantly lied to. When I asked the manager/owner, Randy, about all of this, he told me that the woman on the phone was probably just trying to make the sale. WHAT?! The restaurant service was no better. When we asked what was on the salads, the woman had no idea and stared at us blankly. We asked that there be no dairy, as I'm allergic, but they put creamy Cesar dressing on our salads. The lettuce was wilted, and the salmon had no flavor. The ONLY redeeming quality of this place is the hot tub. I would NOT recommend this place. Especially if you're a hiker.

The food was great and worth the wait, but as it was worth the wait, we had to wait long for our food. The waiters excuse was that there were a lot of people and only 1 chef. We counted 25 people at 7 different tables… Not exactly packed. But as I said the food was really good, and that's why I gave it 3 stars.

My daughter and I went to town and country for the forth of July in 2015 we had a blast in there pool and hot tub. The restaurant was amazing. Jackie at the front desk was very helpful my daughter really liked her the rooms where clean and housekeeping was great we will be back next time.

Another hotel on the road. They start at 9 am to knock your door for house keeping issues. Affordable compare to the rest. I will give them 5 starts, but my party said they deserve only 3 to 4.

This is my second time here, the first time was ok, rude staff though nice pool, sana, and steam room. The second I came here I found a whole possey of ANTS carrying little pieces of chips under the bed! GROSS! who knows what else in here.

Nice place, rooms clean, facilities well cared for. Huge place, mom and pop type rooms and feel. Reasonable cost. Did not eat dinner but breakfast good and fairly priced. Would stay again.

Last july we stayed here a week the accomodations were great the food was excellent the sunday brunch was very good mr &mrs rene laroche.

Just checked out of this motel today and not a happy camper. When I reserved my room I asked for Queen Size bad. I told them on my reservation that I had a dog. I reserved for one night. When I arrived Friday afternoon, I was told I had reserved two nights and that my credit card had been charged for two nights. Unfortunately I had not printed out my confirmation email so I was in no position to argue the point (but I checked it as soon as I got home and, sure enough, it was for only one night). Then I was told I could not have my dog in my room. When I insisted, the "supervisor" told the desk clerk to check the hard copy of the reservation. The clerk confirmed that I had informed the motel on my reservation that I would have a dog with me. The supervisor was rather nasty when she said they would make an exception for the second floor room (supposedly pets only allowed in first floor room). Finally, when I got to the room I found a room with two "double" beds. I immediately called the front desk but was told, in effect, "too bad", nothing can be done about it although perhaps they could change my room the next day. Who wants that hassle! I will not return to this facility. There are too many nice facilities in the Gorham, New Hampshire area to put up with this attitude toward guests.
