Just checked in tonight with my husband and 2 dogs on the Quality Inn side. It was a last minute, walk-in booking. Check in was a breeze and the staff here has been absolutely fantastic! The room was VERY clean and updated. We've only been here less than an hour and I am already very pleased. I cannot wait until morning to walk our dogs on the trails and get a view of the river, waterfalls and mountains. We will most definitely be returning for a family trip in the spring!

Nice clean rooms, indoor pool was nice and open, friendly staff. Would stay here again.

This place was fantastic! It was a wonderful home base for our Christmas ski trip to several mountains in the area. The rooms and entire property are delightfully clean. I’d 10/10 recommend and will absolutely stay there again when I’m in the area for hiking or skiing. The fitness facilities have everything you’d ever need including a warm indoor lap pool, sauna and hot tub for relaxing tired adventurer muscles.

Room way too expensive for what it is, no matter the demand. It is clean, but has a musty smell. Mattress and bedding needs replaced. Chair is stained. Good location. Helpful staff. Must have stayed in an unrenovated room, but price should reflect that. $179 way too much!

The room smelled so bad that we had to go to a gas station down the street to buy air freshener. The hotel was “sold out” so no opportunities to change rooms. Lucky for us we were riding atv trails all day so we were in the room for very small amount of time. The pool was horrible, the hot tub was like a soapy mess and the indoor pool was closed because someone pooped in it! Needless to say we will never recommend or stay here again!

The rooms are spacious and the outdoor pool is nice. The kids loved even after the sun went down. The location is good for what most of northern New Hampshire has to offer. I’ve stayed here multiple times and each time is an enjoyable experience.

I have stayed at inns that were roach free. The Royalty Inn is covered in dog poo as the inn is pet-friendly. Online the inn seems suitable for stay, but it is NOT. My reservation was lost and upon arrival I was charged fee and a half. Conrad, the general manager, is extremely rude and incompetent. He is the one who lost my reservation and refused to honor original price. Pauline isn't any friendlier. Housekeeping could be cleanlier. Overall, poor quality.

Great place to stay when you want to get out and go for an ATV ride.

Quite disappointed. Originally from the area and always thought this was a top notch motel. Not as I thought. Very overpriced for starters for only two adults. The desk clerk was NOT very pleasant. Quite argumentative. I don't mind being wrong but don't argue with me. Then we had two adults instead of three as originally planned. Would not adjust the price. Kept hearing it had to be done online. This trip was for a funeral. Adjustments happen. You don't get a second chance to make a good first impression.

Not what we expected. Upon arrival the hotel looked well kept and nice. Upon check in we were told we were in the 1 story building in the back. (the motel part). We had researched this hotel online and we were expecting the rooms that were posted on their website. Well we were wrong. This room was the Worst ever! Do not spend your money here. Rooms outdated. Beds are hard, they feel like we are sleeping in a kot. Pillows were flat. Worst sleep! For 129.00 a night I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton but we are actually contemplating sleeping in our car…

Best place to stay for Storyland/Santa's Village visit. Big, clean rooms with comfortable beds and a massive indoor pool and hot tub that stays open until 9:45 every night. Very friendly staff and good local eats nearby.

Great indoor pool & jacuzzi and heated outdoor pool. Clean rooms with comfy beds, fridge, microwave and big flat screen tv. And they allow pets. We brought our 80lb pitbull.

We loved this hotel! My kids especially loved the access to the health club pool next door. Very nice hotel near the beautiful White Mountain National Forest. The town is very small but had some really great places to eat. Highly recommend staying here.

I normally stay at bigger chain hotels, but It was actually a very clean large room hot shower and decent price. I would stay again if in the area.

The best place to stay in Gorham. Cozy room, friendly staff, parking for my trailer and only 3 miles from the ATV trails. What more do you need? Oh right, there is more! Across the street from the best restaurant/bar in town, lap pool is great but soaking in the hot tub after 8 hours on the trails was awesome! I will only stay at Royalty Inn!

It's the best motel I'm town. That's all I can really say about it. The furniture and hotel is very out of date. The desk people are very accommodating though. Great service just not a great room.

I stay here regularly on business. The motel is in a great location for vacationers to the area as well as the nearby paper mill. The building has good curb appeal but the interior is dated. Guest rooms are clean and comfortable and are equipped with fridge and microwave but are otherwise very basic and carry an aroma of cleaning solutions. There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and several places to eat within walking distance.

Royalty Inn in Gorham, NH is nice clean motel. We stayed here several times in the past when our family wasn't quite so big. You can get a Santa's Village package here which gets you admission to the park included with your stay. They also have an indoor gym, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and locker rooms. Lots of things to do in and around Gorham in any season. Even though our family has outgrown this place, we will still pay a small fee to use the pool when visiting during the winter months.

Pool and weight room was great. They even have Racquetball courts, and a rewards program. I recommend this hotel.

Rooms are cheap but you get what you pay for here. The walls are paper thin and if you are staying on the bottom floor you can hear the heavy footed guests upstairs. The bed had a hair on it and the rooms were old. If you're on a tight budget then I would recommend this place. If not, go elsewhere.

Our family discovered this fabulous hotel under difficult circumstances. We have enjoyed numerous visits since. Great place for all ages with access to a fitness club with all the amenities. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the beautiful North Cointry.

Love the newer redone rooms in the Winter this place is a zoo. They have alot of large groups of kids and do not seem to mind that parents are not paying attention to them and literally letting them run around like animals. We went to use the pool 45 minutes before they closed and the girl working the door was mad said there is no more towels and I am closing soon. When we entered the pool area there was over 75 kids running amuck. There was no place to even sit let alone enter the hot tub which the sign posted said no children.

I always enjoy staying at this place when I'm visiting northern New Hampshire because it's a good value, is conveniently located, and has one of the better hotel swimming pools in the region. Decent dining options are a couple of minutes away, I've always found it to be a good value.

Funky smelly room, very dated, for 100 buck a night not a good value. Stayed in Oct during foliage ride. So called spa room was on the other side of the building, not easily accessible. More like a 69. Dollar room. Wouldn't stay again at this price. Poor price value.

We have stayed at this Inn several times and this is likely our last time. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The room had a bad smell and we woke up itching. The kids enjoy the pool but this year it smelled like bleach. We have family in the area so we stay every winter for a weekend. I think next year we will stay somewhere else.

Rooms were clean, beds quite comfortable. The staff was very accommodating in getting us tables and chairs for the room.

We were there for a night with three chums. Close to Mount Washington for the biker… very well as place but not much place to eat in the village.

The Royalty Inn is a lovely place with pretty rooms and great ammenties. Their gym and pool are wonderful! Highly recommend.

The rooms are clean and nice. The rates are reasonable. The check in process was very slow, but I think most things are, this far north. I am here as part of a large group, and we are NOT all blocked together. I'm pretty angry that I'm across the parking lot from the rest of the group. Next time, I'll be very specific.

Took our kids to Santa's Village a Storyland not many places to stay and we stayed for 1 night. It's not terrible but it definitely needs updating. The staff was friendly, had issue with our TV the brought another one in to replace it for us.

As a local resident I was very disappointed today when I tried to register my ATV's only to be told to local residents it's cash only! How ever if your a guest you can pay with cash, check, debit or credit… I guess I'll give them the same local support the next time I have family or friends need a place to stay as it won't be the Royalty!

Fairly clean. Good indoor swimming facility. Deeper than usual outdoor pool.

Stayed of only one night but would have stayed longer. Rooms were clean and stocked the basics that were needed soap, towels etc. The indoor pool was nice and relaxing. The staff was friendly and nice. If in the White Mountains area again will be staying with them again.

My family and I have been going every year and we have always enjoyed our stay.

My experience was fair. I would rate this place a little higher if you are interested in the gym facilities, but many other aspects are dated for the price they are charging. They are, however, close to several mountains.

We stayed here this past weekend for two nights as we were doing a moonlit dogsled ride in nearby Jefferson for valentines day. I'll start by saying overall we were definitely satisfied with our stay however some improvements could be made. The positives: price, location, free passes to Glen Trails included, awesome pool and hot tub, friendly staff (for the most part), close to snowmobile trails and easy parking. The negatives: outdated late 80's furniture and styling, rock hard bed, mold in the bathtub, and no hot water the morning we left. The dated styling didn't bother us as much as the mold. If they made a few minor repairs and upgraded their mattresses this place would be great! All that being said though value for the money spent I would give that five stars and we will most likely stay here again in the future.

Very comfortable rooms, warm and comfy. Thermostats on Wall. Great water pressure for hot showers. Great restaurants within walking distance. Mr. Pizza had Prime Ribbon for 20 bucks. Sunday River Me. Is 45 minutes away. I drive a bus and they have plenty of room to park. Great friendly staff. Indoor pool with hot tub. With a Dunkin doughnuts 2 minutes away. I'll be back.

Over all nice place, convenient for UTV & ATV riders & lots of places to eat and shop. Only complaint was the pillows weren't very comfortable & the heat was up kinda high.

A hidden gem! We booked last minute for a weekend getaway. We were very impressed for the price! Loved the pool, clean room, updated with a touch of a country feel. Staff was very kind and helpful.

I visit New Hampshire a lot and always stay here. The price is right and the rooms are always nice.

We stayed at the Royalty Inn for a quick snooze before climbing Mt. Washington. Everything was clean and orderly. Price was reasonable for 3 people. I would book here again.

I came to new Hampshire with 3 old friends (one of which has a medical impairment which allows him to carry a marijuana medical card because of his seizures) so we brought his medicine into the hotel with us so it does not get stolen. AT 9AM we checked out to go hike Mt washington and on our way out we were confronted by belligerent management who smelled of booze in his breathe… this man angrily insisted that we are being charged $100 for "an ozoneator" this man insisted we smoked in a non-smoking hotel room. WE DID NOT SMOKE IN THE HOTEL ROOM! This is ridiculouse! DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! This man noticed 4 young men leaving a hotel and he ran into the room before we could even leave the premisis. We were outside in the parking lot (not even minutes after leaving) DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!

Our room at Royalty was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My fiancee and I have stayed here many many times and have always been more than pleased with everything.

The front desk people at Royalty Inn go out of their way to help a visitor with any and all questions. I also love the rooms… so clean, bright and nicely furnished.

Just as the name implies, this is the place to stay in this area of the Mtns. I stayed here overnight to attend a function in Newry, Maine (less than 30 min. Away) & did not want to leave! Everything you would need is walkable or in the Inn! All major Activities are closeby, for All ages. The Mtn. Views from any angle are extrodinary! This Inn is clean, accomodating & Super Amenities! A longer stay is A Must. I will be back very soon. Even the Dogs were highly Satisfied… Reward program is even unique!

We come to Royalty Inn about 5 times a year and are always more than pleased. The rooms have recently been redone and are very nice. We have a fabulous stay every time!

We always love our time at the Royalty Inn! We have been coming for many years and find it a great place to relax. The ability to go to the fitness center is always one of the highlights.

I had such a pleasant stay at Royalty Inn. It was affordable, we used the Santa Village package, and the rewards are nice too. I'll definitely go back.

Local hotel close to everything in Gorham. Clean room, perfect family hotel. They have a pool which is perfect for everyone. Recent renovations in the rooms however the beds were hard. They could use an upgrade. A lot of families stay there so it can be loud with kids at times. We plan to stay again!

Everything about Royalty Inn was amazing. From the staff who greeted us to the people who checked us out — everyone was friendly and delightful. I can't wait for my next stay!

It's always an exceptional stay when we visit New Hampshire and stay at Royalty Inn. There is nothing they could have done to make our stay more perfect. The staff was so friendly and nice, and Lulu is a great, very pleasant.

NON-smoking rooms should NOT smell like an ashtray! It seems the Motel have rooms they rent to construction workers and separate rooms they rent to tourist. Requested a second room and granted without any problems and it was clean and fresh smelling.

Great hotel. Only stayed one night to check it out but wished we had stayed longer. So clean I was comfortable walking barefoot. Pools were large and clean. Can't wait til next year and plan to stay longer. Front desk staff were genuinely pleasant and friendly when I booked by phone and also on check in. Our room was ready early so we could check in and head off to santa's village by 3.

I visited Royalty Inn for the second time on Mother's Day. It was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better trip. This time, we stayed in a different area of the hotel and it was splendid. I enjoyed it very much and the staff was extremely friendly.

I have loved coming here with my family. We have probably been visitors for over 10 years and will continue to return! You have a wonderful staff that we love, too.

Everything is clean and neat. We enjoyed our stay very much. We especially loved the indoor pool and the staff who were friendly with my daughter who was excited about going to Santa's village.

We always stay at the Royalty. When my grandmother was sick we got a lot of support from them. Last year for her funeral we stayed again and had a wonderful housekeeper who made sure we had plenty of extra towels, pillows, and everything else. She was wonderful and we love the front end staff as well.

What a great deal! The spa was great after a day exercising outdoors. The rooms were simple but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. When I went to leave, it was 5 below zero, and my car wouldn't start. While on hold to AAA, I called the front desk, and they jump started my car before AAA even answered the phone. Thanks.

We've stayed here many times, starting in 2006. Clean, excellent location, great staff, reasonable prices. Dunkin' Donuts down the street for breakfast, Mr Pizza (not a pizza joint, more like a diner and a restaurant — two entrances) down the street for lunch and dinner (and they're open late, which is saying something up there), Pizza Hut down the street. Also convenient to Mt Washington, 17 Mile Woods (Dummer) Moose Brook State Park, and a super Wal-Mart up the road a bit. It's one of two places we stay in the north country. I can't recommend it highly enough. The 5-stars are location specific, i. E. Relative; not the same 5-stars I would give a Four Seasons.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in your hotel. Very clean, quiet, and friendly. No surprises here! We'll share with our friends the great time we had at Royalty.

There were only a few guests due to the time of year, but as always the staff at Royalty was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy and our stay was excellent. Always a joy to stay here.

I like the staff, the location, and the amenities. The rooms are always clean and spacious. It's always a pleasant stay and I always recommend Royalty Inn as the best place to stay in Gorham.

Excellent one night stopover hotel. Clean, friendly receptionist, and excellent location for Mount Washington Road. Love the free coffee station in the morning.

First time staying here. My room was clean and comfortable. I really liked the green options for towels and linens and the indoor pool was a huge hit with my 6 year old grandson.

This place was great for a weekend getaway. The room was quiet and cozy, and kept clean throughout our stay. All of the staff that we encountered were nice, and never acted put out if we were to ask for something. It's a great place to go if you want to get away for a little while and not break the bank.
