Quiet. Hot water. Clean. Three pillows instead of two. Prompt service by an accommodating staff.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Gorham Motor Inn for two nights and Alici was the very best very informative extremely helpful will definitely come back again thank you so much Alicia! oh yeah we got engaged while we were here!

Rooms were excellent very family atmosphere the woman at the front desk was awesome and very informative will definitely be back again and I will definitely be telling my friends about GORHAM MOTOR INN.

Staying here tonight due to inclimated weather. I was offered a choice room… (choosing a smaller one), it's very clean, warm and cozy. The rate was average for the area and the lady at the front was extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend anyone stay here and this is coming from a fussy woman.

Really nice motel in a great town. Lots of places to eat nearby and the Moose River runs right along the property. The owner is very nice and accommodating as well.

The owner and staff were very nice and attempted to accommodate but overall experience was not good. Rooms are very old and dated and smell like mildew. A/C 's are old and do not work well. Our first room was extremely small with dark pine walls. Room appeared clean but did not smell clean. A/C froze up and did not work at all on our 1st night. We sweltered all night long. We were moved to a new room the next day which was an upgrade to a king bed and bigger room. A/C still did not work well. Room still smelled like mildew. Stayed here for 5 long days. This place needs a serious overhaul.

We stayed here because it was the cheapest option we could find in the area, and with that in mind it certainly met expectations. The room was clean, but a little old. Everything worked, nothing was visibly broken, but there were scuff marks here and there and a little visible rust. Still, we booked a queen room, but were upgraded for no charge to a king because it was available. Overall satisfied with my experience, I would stay with them again. P. S. I dumped pickle juice into the toilet and forgot to flush, so if the housekeeper is reading this, sorry for the yellow-green toilet that smelled like vinegar!

My family stayed at this place. It was very clean and staff was very friendly differently recommended staying here.

Really great overnight experience here. Decent price, very nice (and spacious) room, and conveniently located near both Santa's Village and Story Land. Highly recommended!

$450 for 2 nights in a single bed room is ridiculous. Will book somewhere else next year.

We stayed one night in this little hotel and were very satisfied. The room we had was small but very cozy and clean. The bed was comfy. Bathroom was clean. The owners were very pleasant and went above and beyond to help me find an earring that I discovered had fallen off the next day. He found it and is mailing it to my home in Arizona. There are several restaurants in walking distance. Was a good stay. Thank you!

What a dump! Rooms stinks like mildew and I suspect bed sheets do not get changed after every guest leaves. I do not dare walk bear foot on the floor. Bathroom seems as if it were not updated in 40 years of usage. Now for the pros of this place: excellent central location to most everything that Gorham has to offer and this place is probably the cheapest place to stay in the area. Would I stay here again? Hell no!

Nothing! that's what you get with this motel; no sleep; it's across from a ATV garage, near a major intersection and to top it off, the trains come through on a regular basis. Wash clothes and towels were equivalent to 40 grit sandpaper. The towel rack is in the shower (yes, attached to the shower wall! ) foul smell not uncommon in the bathroom, so much that I wondered if they even had a back flow preventer installed to protect the faucet water (Faucet wasn't even secured to the sink bowl and moved everytime I turned the water on. Found some pubic hair on the one pillow case. Thank goodness didn't need the AC. It's about the size of a car AC. Furniture rickety. Sadly, I discover much cheaper and better places a short way down the road. If you have a good immune system, don't worry about staying here. Never again for me.

Great place to stay in Gorham. Ride your ATV right from room to trails. Restaurants and stores within walking distance and if you dont have a ATV you can rent one across street at Northeast Snowmobile and ATV rentals. Cheap rates and clean rooms. Will be back again.

Well worn facility. Should have been renovated 10 years ago for the price they charge. People were nice and friendly.

Too expensive for what it is, the toilet was broken and spewing sewer smells in the room, there was no hot water either day of our 2 day stay, definitely will not stay there again, town and country inn just down the street is cheaper and is by far the nicest hotel in gorham!

Rate was fine, rooms were exactly what you would need at a motel, saved me in a pinch.

I book a few different hotels up there a year for atv events. Gorham motor inn has gone above and beyond every time. Very friendly and always there when needed. I'd recommend this place to everyone!

We were here overnight to prep for a hike. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is great!

Close to local atv trails but not the nicest rooms with poor air con.

Had 2 hotel rooms booked for tonight. 1 for my husband I and 1 for our friend. Had to cancel our room because we were unable to make it. Called the hotel this morning, made sure the room name was switched over so our friends wouldn't have an issue at check in thought everything would be all set. The hotel called us back on 3 different occasions asking us for the same info 3 different times and we gave them the cell phone number to reach the other party. We'll the party gets to the hotel to check in after a long day of riding the trails in Jericho and there is no hotel room waiting g for them. So they are stranded with no room and no rooms available anywhere in the area! We have stayed a few times over the past few years and will NEVER be returning. Stay at the Town and Country if you're planning to stay in the area. Cheaper, MUCH nicer and they offer a great breakfast I would give zero stars if that was an option…

My husband and I needed a nice clean reasonable place to stay in for three nites that didnt have to be fancy and it had to be close to bus stop and store and Main St. Strip which it was. So glad we found this place. We liked it better then another fancier expensive place we had stayed at in past. The owners go above and beyond to be nice. My friends and family that went to visit us there all loved the place too and said they would stay there.

Worst hotel ever… I have been calling it for 3 day straight and there has been no answer… Never got to this hotel if they charged me I'm suing.

The room was clean. A mini fridge and Wi-Fi was included with the room. We would stay there again!

EVERYTHING in the end was Expedia's fault! Please disregard my last review! I finally spoke with Arshad over the phone a couple of times and he was trying to sort it out and be as helpful as possible. I was getting the run-around throughout the whole dispute for too long! Expedia could not reference their own information to find out about the cancellation they sent and did not even tell the owners of the motel! Expedia had to refund us as it was their mistake and when it comes to customer service, they could learn a thing or two~! Please do not go through Expedia, just look up the place and then call as their rates drop so heavily when you call and reserve! Expedia makes money off your reservations, do it the old-fashioned way and SAVE BIG!

We tried to make a reservation through Expedia and that same day got an email saying that theGorham Inn could not honor it. Then they proceeded to charge us on our card for the night we had tried and failed to get. Beware! It must be a scam for them to make extra money on rooms that are given out to more than one person. Thieves! They will not refund our money that they stole and are still using Expedia. Expedia says that they cannot do anything about it and cannot even reference their OWN emails coming from their own company! Travelers BEWARE of these THEIVES!?! We called the night after all this and they promised they would not charge our card! So on top of being thieves, they are LIARS! We have wasted hours and hours on hold trying to get our money back and they all just point the finger at each other. They are probably all in on this scam together getting rich off of families that are not rich!

The Gorham Motor Inn has made huge renovations! The rooms are bright and clean! Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. You can even ride away on the ATV from their parking lot! Such a sweet couple own it and have many so many great changes including a new web site.

Better now than last review. Needs little more up keep. But not nasty.
