A gem in the middle of who knows what. The hotel is located between the Sheriff's headquarters and the Federal courthouse. My wife and I had been traveling for days taking our daughter to college. This was our last hotel stay of the trip, we were in 3 previous, and I wanted a nice hotel to finish off the trip. We were not disappointed. The hotel met all of our expectations from the drive up to the breakfast in the dining room, I suggest you enjoy in the in-house restaurant due to the area. The room was nicely sized, the bed beyond comfortable, the bathroom clean and well stocked and, the staff very welcoming and wanting to make sure our stay was perfect. We will be making many trips to and from North Carolina and will be staying here on each visit when we drive.

I recently stayed at the Westin in Jackson and visited the club lounge. The club lounge attendant (Ms. Chestina Dyson) was by far the best that I have ever met. She truly made the Westin club lounge the upscale lounge that you would expect. I thought I was some where else like New York or Los Angeles by the level of service that I received. I was so please with my service that I had to write this brief review. This is the first time that I have ever taken the time to write a review but I had to because of the outstanding service that Ms. Dyson provided.

Me being from Miami, I pay 500 per night for the Westin and the room are a little bigger and you can be a big more spoiled. I give five stars because it was still amazing and I love the Westin brand. The snacks they give you and the refrigerator always get emptied when I stay so no matter what I rack up room service and charges but hey it’s the Westin. Don’t go if you can’t afford it. This location was a great price and the food was nice. Westin still lives up to their image.

Pros: new hotel, nice lobby and bar area (Ask for Cody at the bar), secure, nice front desk staff Cons: housekeeping left a bit to be desired, Disposable coffee cups had coffee in them upon arrival, housekeeping only made beds and did not wipe off desk or dispose of used cups, did not restock tissue Overall: Nice hotel, but housekeeping needs an overhaul. It’s a shame to have such a nice hotel with not so clean rooms. Update: I decided to give this hotel another shot after the first housekeeping mishap and I’m sorry I did. My room was not cleaned upon my return. The iron and ironing board were in the same place I left it, no clean cups and no toilet tissue was in the room. To top it off, the soap that I purposely left on the shower floor was still there at 8 p. M.! It’s obvious that no one bothered to clean the place. I really wanted to like this hotel, however the rooms are dirty. After reading several reviews, I see that I’m not the only one who feels this way. I feel like management doesn’t care about their guests at all. I expressed my concerns with the front desk attendant, Keisha and she assured me that someone would at least bring me a clean cup. Sadly, I had to call an hour later to make a second request. The place needs a complete management overhaul.

Stopped here overnight as we passed through Jackson. We selected it because of its amenities and close proximity to I-20. We had our two girls with us, and there is an indoor pool that they loved and a gym that let us run while keeping an eye on them while they were in the pool. The staff was top notch too. Overall it was a good experience, but be aware of the forced valet if you are driving in and the $10 per night fee for internet access.

The location is good. The rooms are very nice. The complaint I have was with housekeeping. The beds were made up horribly and nothing was cleaned up or replenished, such as the coffee and complimentary water. The parking available was limited on the weekend, valet was the only option. The beds were comfortable. We only had a shower, it was nice, with a seating area. I was able to walk in the area for food. It was quiet.

Great hotel located downtown Jackson. Near many museums and sightseeing places. I love the replica guitars in the lobby. I can't give a 5 because I didn't have a chance to visit all of the hotel amenities. The hotel staff at check-in was accommodating. The mother's day brunch was good and tasty. The staff there as well was awesome. I came on the end of the brunch but if the end was good I am sure the live music and service during the beginning was excellent. The club lounge staff was excellent. The room was comfortable. This is my first stay here at the Westin and I hope each stay gets better and better. I plan on visiting the spa on my next stay.

Unfortunately I must change my rating from 3 to 5 stars I was charged for Wi-Fi, and after two calls to the hotel, I have yet to receive an updated portfolio, or a call stating that the charges were refunded. The staff at The Westin Jackson worked hard to ensure that our family had an enjoyable stay at the property this weekend. There were a few minor annoyances, but they were not significant enough for me to change my rating from 5 to 4 stars. We look forward to returning to Jackson and will definitely stay at The Westin.

I am a platinum guest and I can attest that this property is a very nice Westin. Rooms are spacious. Service is very exclusive. They are trying very hard to make you feel special. I was impressed by the great attitude of the front desk. Keep up the great work.

$800 worth of fraudulent charges on a prepaid booking that should have not had any charges. We were also told to Uber it to a concert venue that was 450 feet from the hotel.? The whole stay was a complete comedy of errors, from the 3 ravioli "entree" at the restaurant to the $5 Uber ride to a place right *behind* the hotel, to the inability to even call me back regarding the incorrect charges. The hotel is nice, and the bed was comfortable. But the whole experience was one sour note after another.
