This is a hidden gem. I only come to jackson once a year and this was the first time I stayed here. For all future stays it will be here!

1st time here, I love it. Beef nachos and chicken bites were bomb.

It was very clean and the staff so nice. Loved the room and what it had to offer. The bed was no nice and I have to say the breakfast was amazing. I LOVE the grits! We will plan on staying again the next time we are in town.

The experience was great.! The food is amazing as well. The front desk associate was amazing.!

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was beautiful and food was wonderful.

Had a wonderful overnight stay here at this beautiful Old Inn. Our room was beautifully decorated with a nice sitting area. We had a beautiful view of the Capitol from our room. Everything was perfect!
We had a nice evening relaxing at the Rooftop, great ambience, attentive staff and great drinks. Staff brought out laptop blankets for more comfort.

I absolutely love their food! And the scenery is Breathtaking! You can eat inside or outside! It is an Amazing place! I love the Koi fish as they swim in their pond!

I just had a delicious luncheon and was impressed by the food and service.

So many beautiful memories and celebrations.
Our family is looking forward to many more.

Loved everything about this place! The little balcony off our room, the decor in the room, the delicious breakfast, and the friendliness of the staff made for a perfect stay!

Great place for a weekend getaway. It’s our second time and the breakfast is fantastic the rooms are perfectly decorated, staff is exceptionally pleasant. We will definitely be back.

Teach their wait staff how to close a door without slamming it. We ate there today and every time one of the went out or in from the courtyard, the door was slammed. Not pleasant. Also very disappointed in the quality of the food.

The lunch menu selection was fantastic, redfish, beef tips, chicken, seafood lasagna, and shrimp and grits. I was with a group of 21 service was excellent.
Food was delicious, I’m ready to go back.

This is one of my favorite lunch destinations! The menu is varied with a nice selection of salads, sandwiches, delicious crab dishes and shrimp n grits. The service is excellent, the food is always hot and freshly prepared and usually quick. I highly recommend it!

Old Capitol Inn has an excellent menu! The artichoke dip is top notch, always! I thoroughly enjoy my meals when I am there. The new Beef Fajita Taco Salad is indeed a marvelous choice. Cudos to the chef!

I visited the Old Capitol Inn on yesterday for lunch and the food was scrumptious! Oh my goodness, the cheeseburger, fries and salad was so freaking fresh and good! To top it off, the bread pudding was Devine! I can’t wait to eat here again. See you next week Chef! Keep serving quality, fine food!

Very nice place. Friendly staff. Quite honestly some of the best breakfast fare I’ve ever had. I highly recommend.

Great place, went for an event and the sound wasn't great, the background music was too loud but when the speaker started I couldn't really hear what they were saying. Also they were a little understaffed, but I don't think it was their fault.

I’ve been to this place to eat lunch and for several luncheon meetings for organizations. As far as the food goes, it’s adequate but not great, and the chicken I had the last time was so unexpectedly spicy that I started coughing as soon as I put the food in my mouth. I won’t be going back here unless I have to for a conference.

Chef Bruce and his staff do an excellent job and provide exceptional service. My wife Anita and I are very thankful to the Old Capitol Inn for helping us make our Daughters wedding reception the best event ever and top shelf. The rooms are as well beautiful and well maintained. We highly recommend!

Lovely old building that had been updated nicely with unique rooms. The courtyard is delightful for a nice quiet conversation or reading session. It is right across the street from the 2 Mississippi museums.

Even if you're not a guest, you should come by for lunch, it's wonderful! I haven't had the chance to stay here yet, but will try to on my next trip to Jackson. The place is lovely. We came for lunch and both the regular food on their menu as well as the daily specials were delicious. I had the fried chicken breast (a regular feature) which had a crisp skin and was moist and delicious. Others had the Thursday special, seafood lasagna and they really liked it. Service was quick and our iced-tea never got empty. The waitress was very nice.

I got moved to the Elvis room. Very nostalgic and cool. Very clean and upscale. All rooms are decorated with different themes. A really cool place to stay.

Incredible little hotel. Each room has it's unique features and each one is lovely. There is a rooftop bar with live music and you can easily walk to museums and restaurants. Best of all, the staff is incredibly friendly and goes out of their way to help.

This is a hotel/bed and breakfast. It also has ball rooms used for events and a beautiful rooftop bar and grill that is in full swing twice a year three days a week in spring and fall. It is very private and tucked away amongst the roofline helping it to remain very anonymously quaint and generally peaceful. Only frequented by the few locals who know about it and hotel guests. Along with a bevy of alcoholic beverages they also offer great appetizers. The customer service is great and the prices are reasonable. Definitely check them out.

I have been staying here for over 15 years and I love it. The staff is wonderful and I really love the breakfast. Great place to stay. The staff know my name and the customer service is excellent. Also the banquet area is great too. The chief is the best. Love using them for our awards luncheon and all of our events in Jackson.

So me and my cousin decided to go to Old Capitol Inn for lunch (it being my first time there) and I gotta say that their food was amazing, I ordered the Fried Chicken Breast and it came with Collard Greens, Mac & Cheese, some amazing cornbread and yes, I cleaned my plate… the atmosphere was warm and we didn't have to wait long for our food either… so if you're in the downtown area during lunch time (which is from 11am to 2pm I think), stop by there and also order the mango sweet tea, you won't be disappointed.
