The owner was VERY nice and accommodating. I was originally booked at a place down the street but they refused my 10lb service dog because she isn't state certified (she is nationally certified). Mary was great though. She didn't have the same room all 3 nights, but said if I didn't mind changing rooms each day she would gladly allow my pup. The room that I am in right now is nice and clean and I love that the windows open to let fresh air in!

Cute little older motel but needs upgrade to beds too old and hard…

My family stayed here recently, it was disgusting! The office smelled bad enough, which didn’t bode well. Our room was just as bad but with air freshener over the top to disguise it. The place was so dated you couldn’t describe it as vintage or retro, it was so mismatched.
One bed looked like an old hospital bed and the other one was so hard it literally crunched when you sat on it. The blankets were so thin and old, ripped and hand sew, melted in places. The sheets were not too fresh either, hairs between the sheetsWe slept fully clothed and left early the next morning. Wifi didn’t work, the TV was so old it didn’t work to well either, rat droppings in the wardrobe, French fries under the bed, need I say more? The only reason we stayed was because there was nothing else available and we’d already paid. The photos make the place look great from the outside.

I stayed this motel for the weekend.
The room was cleaned very well and cozy.
The location is very convenient to get white mountains and the town of North Conway.

My kids got the stomach bug the day we were going to come up. I called to cancel because their website off Booking. Com said there were no cancellation costs. Lady was wicked rude and said there was nothing she could do and charged me 110 dollars. Never in my life will I be staying here and no one else I know will either.

I've stayed here twice. Once about ten years ago and last year. The same lady owns and runs the place. She is a wonderful person who is more than willing to have a friendly conversation or give you as much privacy as you want. This is a comfortable roadside motel with not much to offer. There is ice and a soda machine and Wi-Fi. But it is clean and very inexpensive. It is also within a short distance from Story Land, Dairy Queen and down town North Conway. Plus it's a quick drive to the heart of the White Mountains. There is an ATM across the street.

Your motel looks very attractive and inviting. The surrounding scenery is breathtakingly beautiful.

It could use some updating but it is a nice, very clean property.

Very dated and musty smelling. No ice in the machine. Landscaping dead and over grown. We cut out weekend short and came back home. Cheap motel definitely, but not a comfortable stay.

Great walking distance to a few great bars in town. Quiet. Price is right.

Our stay was not uneventful… I was told upon making my reservation (2 months early) we would have a microwave oven and fridge in our room … when we arrived at checking the woman was rude because she had to run my card twice it was a good card she ran it wrong… we entered our room it seemed clean but had a funny smell. On this particular day it was very hot we put on the air conditioning it didnt work very well and no microwave I called the office and I was told they have one in with the ice machine I told her I was told it would be in my room I was told because of the old wiring that wasnt possible, me and my significant other are older people with breathing problems so not wanting to walk in the heat/ humidity to microwave it took 3 hours but finally had one put in our room in order to use it we had to unplug the fridge… on the 2nd day we went out put a sign on the door no maid service we came back to all our things moved around the room the air on and all the windows open I called the office and asked why. I was told the cleaning lady is foreign and probably didnt understand… I said I wanted to cancel my next couple days and wanted a refund I was told to call the police which I did but apparently they are in her pocket and this is normal practice… do yourself a favor DONT STAY HERE!

The worst place I have ever stayed at. The place was old and dirty. The beds were really old and uncomfortable. They advertise Wi-Fi in rooms but it only works in the office. They charge way too much for the rooms they offer!

Stayed on a busy weekend as it was one if the few places with availability… Well, we found the reason for it. When we first walked into guest check in, we were greeted by an overwhelming scent of cigarette smoke and a dimly lit sitting area. After being given the key, I began to search the room for anything out of the ordinary. Our first impression did not put my mind at ease. Wallpaper was peeling from the walls in multiple places, air conditioner was not working, the thermostat could not be changed and my well traveled dog was smelling specific spots of carpeting and bedding like crazy. I began looking at the sheets and discovered MULTIPLE yellow stains. After pulling up the bottom sheet BED BUGS, lots of dirt, long hair and old food were found. Who knows the last time they were washed. After bringing this to our host's attention, she proceeded to wipe the debris off the bed and onto the floor angrily stating that she would be unable to resell this room and remade the obviously unchanged bedsheets from the night before. We will not be returning and we are very disappointed and disgusted with our experience. Steer clear.

We got a room, but our door kept getting stuck, the bed was horribly uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore back. There was an electrical hazard in my mom's room next to ours, which wasn't even tended to when brought to the front desk's attention, the mechanism to use the bathtub rather than the shower didn't work. The Wi-Fi only works in or right next to the office. Forget using it in the room. Even my data on my phone, which is normally awesome, was spotty at best. Not great. Oh, and the coffee pot had someone's moldy coffee in it.

The White Trellis is my home away from home when I visit the White Mountains. I stay here several times a year and have been doing so for over 20 years. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I like the no-frills, cozy atmosphere. It's a great place to lay my head while seeing the sites at a reasonable rate. And the view is lovely. I especially like that the motel is away from the hub-bub of retail areas of town but close enough to everything that you can be at a fantastic res…taurant in minutes. Plus, the innkeeper is super friendly and accommodating.

The White Trellis is affordable and has all of the bare necessities after a weekend camping and hiking. The rooms are warm, have showers and beds. It is a bit of a drive though. You get what you pay for, don't expect much and don't spend more time there then you need to.

Best value and cutest rooms in town! This place is a quintessential roadside motel. The rooms are adorably decorated — — a mix of vintage and mountain charm. The rooms are small but extraordinarily clean. I'd definitely stay here again!

We stayed in july 2015 for one night in Conway, and looked around for a nice and attraktive Motel. The price for a room in this Motel was about 70 $, so we asked, if we can have a look at the room. The woman on the frontdesk REFUSED this! "If we want to have a look at the rooms, we can look thru the window or see the pictures in the internet! " she said. After I asked, if this was a joke, her parter appeared, and confirmed in a loud and unfriendly way this statement. I don´t know, what secrets they hide in this Motel, but for us it seem so strange not to be able to have a look at the room before we rent it, that we did not stay there. This was a strange and creepy experience!

Very clean, friendly, affordable and quiet motel with great location near by to restaurants and attractions. Had a wonderful view. We loved the White Trellis and are planning to go back there this summer.

Nice rooms, great rates, excellent location. My first trip to NH, but my companions have been staying here every year they come to ice climb.

The oriental lady behind the desk was rude and disrespectful. I rode in with three other friends who were staying there, and I was going to get a room also. I had to pee, so I went right in. She was with another family, and with an urgency, I excused myself and asked for the restroom. Without a chance to reply she asked if I was staying there, and immediately proceeded to tell where a public restroom was. Needless to say, I was flabbergasted and stayed at another hotel.

My rating is for price at 75.00 a night most places were 200.00 or so, clean but beds were like cardboard, very nice lady.

We stayed there last summer 2012. You can't beat the price and location. The motel is a bit dated but it's very clean. No pool but Echo lake and Flat Rocks is nearby. Close to Storyland also. If you want an affordable, nice clean place with a great location this is the place.

The proprietor was extremely nice and helpful. Steered us to a great meal. Was also very affordable.
