The Stonehurst Manor exceeded all expectations. A quaint inn with beautiful grounds and warm, welcoming and friendly staff. A very relaxed setting with picturesque views. The room was very comfortable and welcoming. All the staff made you feel at home but like their very special guest with service that was exceptional. The Wild Rose restaurant on site was superb. Portions were big and every course was delicious and nicely presented. I can't recommend this place enough.

We are on a week long East Coast getaway and Stonehurst was our first stop. Terrific start to our trip. Check in was fast with excellent staff (and a free upgrade was offered). Room was very clean. Food is excellent. Staff are amazing and truly set the Stonehurst apart. We will be back.

We had a very nice overnight here. The staff was attentive and the dinner and breakfast were very nicely done. We found it a good value for the cost.

One of our favorite restaurants in town was crowded and wait time for a table was over an hour. So we headed north away from the crowds and decided on the Stonehurst, a place we hadn't been to for years. Just as beautiful as we remembered it, the Victorian-era manor and the grounds are well maintained with beautiful views. The restaurant is upscale, but vacation-casual dress is welcome. Dinner highlights… the lobster ravioli with huge chunks of lobster and savory sauce was the star of meal. Truffle fries, baked brie, pizza sampler, sesame encrusted tuna, fresh baked breads… each scored a big wow. So much deliciousness we had to pass on the dessert offerings. Our server, Paris, was a pro and made the experience worthy of the fifth star.

Pretty good experience overall. We stayed here a few years ago, so although my experience is somewhat obsolete, I hope it may help the business and the customers. Me and my wife booked a room here for a couple nights. The room was nice and clean. I also enjoyed the feel of the old building and the architecture throughout. The only complaint about the building itself was that the bathroom was across part of a public hallway. Not a huge deal, but if you need to hop out of bed in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, it would be nice to not have to dress up to walk across a hall to do so. We ended up buying a package deal that came with meals. The meals were delicious and the dining room staff was very friendly and accommodating. I could tell that this place appealed to older rich people, and those who particularly like to complain much about their food and service. There were multiple nights where we felt really bad for the wait staff who were on that night as multiple couples weren't having their way for some reason or another. It was kind of painful to watch. This place has the kind of potential where anyone could enjoy a place like this, but we ended up feeling kind of out of place in a mostly vain and pretentious sort of elderly crowd, by no fault of the staff or anyone from Stonehurst Manor. Everything they did was great, but the vibe in the air with the crowd around us was just stale and grumpy.

The manor is amazing in ever way. The staff was friendly, food was good and the rooms were cozy. Not much food was vegetarian friendly but they were quite accommodating. Would recommend this manor to others.

Attended a wedding set outside. Nice setting with a great view. Fire alarms happened to go off while wedding was going on, and fire department came, but taken in n stride. Venue was great otherwise. Food was good. And service was great.

Had dinner there for our anniversary. The place was beautiful and great atmosphere but the food wasn't great. The bread needed more flavor, definitely more salt. Ordered the steak which I was very excited about, first taste made me gag and choke. The chef decided curry was the seasoning of choice. Was inedible. Ordered the salmon and seemed slightly underdone and the sauce was not pleasant at all. Was very excited about it but disappointed in the end.

Love the dog trails on site! The fireplace and bar in the lounge is great if you are staying or just want to go and grab a drink before dinner.

I TRIED to stay in this hotel because I have had nothing but great experiences in their condos that my fiance's family has been going to for over a decade, needless to say I trusted them. I booked a pet friendly room and was told to keep my dog in the car while my fiance and I ate dinner. First off, no. It's 18 degrees outside and the best they could do is get some pizzas to go. I wasn't upset about it terribly, however after bringing the food back into the hotel room I found small bugs that resembled bed bugs climbing in the bed when I lifted the covers to have our dinner. I crushed them in a napkin and flushed them down the toilet, absolutely mortified. Quickly I put my stuff in my bag got my dog and fiance and left dropping the keys at the front desk. The next day after having to seek out another hotel to sleep in I called to inquire if there was anything to be done as I was only there for 4 hours before departing. I offered to take the meal we had out but I was hoping to be refunded. I was told someone would reach out to me. Hours passed. Nothing happened. I called back to be given snarky and annoyed replies followed by speaking with the general manager of the entire hotel, Heidi, who was just as snarky and rude to me saying since nobody could find the bugs I was basically lying. I begged for a solution to be told there's nothing they can do for me followed by being hung up on. I wish I could give this establishment negative stars.

Stonehurst Manor is an amazing place to stay. The prices are great. The food and drinks in their restaurant was outstanding. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The view is spectacular.

We have been coming to the Stonehurst Manor for many years and it never disappoints. Beautiful, cozy and well maintained, the Manor is in an excellent location with spectacular views, outstanding staff, and scrumptious food. The dinner and breakfast with the room deal can't be beat. Special shout-out to Lisa for making our early morning breakfasts bright and cheery and a great start to the day!

The condo we rented was fine. A lot of storage spaces were locked. The witches in the main lodge office live up to their reputation which they're apparently proud of by their worship of Margaret Hamilton. The restaurant food was pretty good. The lobby bar is very warm and inviting to sip whiskey. If only you could smoke a cigar or pipe too.

Beautiful interior. Visited during January and was happy to see it was still Christmas decorations adorning the walls. Lovely bar-lounge area. They had an hors d'oeuvres hour (included for patrons spending the night) while the fire place was going. Great atmosphere. I only gave it four stars because our bedding had a few stains on it, the ice bucket had mold on the cover and the heater was extremely loud during the night. Lovely staff though and great dinner and breakfast included in price.

One of our most favorite restaurants… We having going there on Valentine's Day to celebrate our anniversary for most of our 34 years of marriage… Incredible food, drinks and most of the time good service from the waitstaff.

Be very careful with this company. I made a reservation for one price, And I got a confirmation for that price. Four days later without any notice, I received a confirmation for my reservation for an additional $40. When I asked them why, they stated this because it’s for two people instead of one. Not a reputable place. Watch out for a bait and switch scenario. I suggest going elsewhere. And when I questioned the up charge, they canceled my reservation outright, only eight days prior to my travel. I will be glad to forward it to any interested parties copies of confirmations and cancellation.

Really nice meal in a quaint mannor. They run very affordable specials during the week we look forward to visiting again.

I love this spectacular inn. The food is great. The rooms are cozy. The staff are gracious. Stayed for Christmas 2017. Thank you to all for a truly enchanting stay. Thus is our 3rd stay and will be back.

Great food, service and views. Thursday night is 2 meals for $35 (anything on the menu). Excellent Prime Rib! Please note that parking is a real problem at this restaurant! There is limited parking in front of the restaurant on a busy night (especially Thursday). You CANNOT park in the lots of the condos! Suggest getting there early!

Stayed here for my wedding. It was incredible! I would recommend to anyone. The views are gorgeous, the rooms are cute, and the food is awesome.

Poor overall service. Professionalism lacking. Class severely lacking of staff. Food Sysco; enough said. Very disappointed. It must have been grand in its time. No longer, sad to say.

Nice setting with cozy cottages. Hotel has a very rustic martini bar beautiful vacation spot for the fall on the edge of town.

Just stayed a few days the hotel setting was beautiful. Room 8 very squeeky floors. Food was wonderful. Morning staff in restaurant very friendly evening staff and check in group very aloof except young gal at the bar was very nice. I am just someone who excepts friendly staff due to this I most likely would choose another place to stay.

Came for dinner Thurs NIGHT and experienced the most wonderful dinner I have ever had at a restaurant. If you like seafood you must try the Wild Rose dish. Also delicious is the Beef Tenderloin. Mashed potatoes are out of this world. Tass was our wonderful waitress. She was pleasant and informative. Try this place! You'll like it!

I ate at the restaurant and it exceeded my expectations! The views ands atmosphere were great along with the service. Visiting from D. C. I would say I'm a foodie. I will definitely eat here again and stay at the hotel on my next visit.

Gorgeous views and CLEAN! So clean! Great food! Friendly staff and friendly guests! Dinner and breakfast included with your stay. You cannot beat it! Did I mention how clean it is?

Place is very nice looking and pleasant staff. We stayed in a dog friendly room which for some reason was very damp. It was pretty obvious that the manor staff knew this because the beds were on risers and they had some cheap carpets down in specific spots. We noticed water on the floor in multiple areas throughout our stay. That being said, you do get what you pay for. It was very affordable to stay here and dinner and breakfast are included in the price. Dinner was just ok at the manor restaurant and breakfast was good. May stay here again next time I'm Conway, but certainly not in the same room.

I stayed here for five nights a few years back and the cross country skiing out the backdoor was terrific. I came with my dog so we were placed in a motel annex in the back of the main structure. It was, perhaps, the worst room I've ever been stuck in anywhere in the world. It was: tiny, noisy, poorly equipped and damp. We purchased the meals with the room and they were also A+. So we have A+ location, F on the room, A on the dining for a total of the D+/C — for the final grade. Yes, I double the room weight as snow would have been there with any other hotel. And, the room really was awful.

Great views, very good food, the rooms are nice but could use a good thorough cleaning to get cobwebs off ceiling.

We have always dined there, but this was the first time staying there. We choose it because they are pet friendly. What a fantastic location with mountain views. There was even snow on the mountains in April. Since we had a package our dinners and breakfasts were included which makes for a terrific value. The chef's menu selections were exceptional. The wait-staff were very helpful & attentive. Being able to stay at such a beautiful property with our 2 Jack Russell's made it very enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I spent Valentine's week here and have been for years since we started dating. This was our fourth year. We look forward to coming up every year and sometimes come up twice. The prices are reasonable, some rooms have hot tubs and/or fireplaces but the ones that don't are just as nice. The staff is amazing and friendly and they make us feel like family every time we come up. Lisa, who serves breakfast, still remembers what kind of juice I like and that I like ketchup on my home fries. Michael, the bartender, can make everything and anything and is very friendly and welcoming. Maryann, the hostess, is so very sweet and always greets us as if she's known us our whole lives. Finally, Heidi, the manager is always helping out her staff, and goes above and beyond for her guests. That is just to name a few of the amazing staff that the Stonehurst has. The food never disappoints, the grounds are beautiful and the manor is very close to the town, shopping, skiing, snowshoeing and so much more. Anyone who goes won't be disappointed!

This was such a great place. It's got that upscale old New England feel to it. The quality of the food is top notch. It's not too loud and they actually have a sign saying they prohibit cell phone use in the parlor (which has 2 fireplaces) and dining room. That was unusual, but ended up being a great idea. I literally didn't see anybody on their phones in the entire dining room. Service was good, you definitely didn't feel rushed. It's not cheap, but not ridiculous. Entrees are $25-30. Appetizers are $10. Highly recommend going here if you want a nice dinner. Good romantic setting and great food.

This past weekend I visited here with my husband. We had a beautiful time and our room was absolutely perfect. We especially enjoyed how cozy it was, the fireplace such a lovely addition. The ice bar was such a fun environment and the drinks were great. The food was remarkable and Shelby at the front desk was so helpful with making sure we were happy during our visit. She was all smiles and made us feel especially welcome and comfortable.

I went to the ice bar a couple weeks ago with my fiancé and I absolutely loved it! We had a great time and we are also considering it for our wedding venue! A great place overall, and we would like to thank Shelby for being so nice and helpful! She really added to our entire experience.

Great experience! Especially Micheal and his amazing martinis! the front desk ladies especially do a fantastic job, Heidi, Leona, Kelley, and Shelby, they are always so friendly on the phone and in person, so helpful. Not to mention the kitchen staff as well. The espresso sirloin on the menu is at must try! Such a helpful and sweet staff. Always look forward to seeing the friendly faces at the Stonehurst manor.

Beautiful location with incredible mountain views. Lots of great local shopping and sights to see. Dinner and breakfast included makes for a terrific value considering it's the highest quality food in the area. Rooms are all I unique and different. Research choices on the website before booking. Service was very attentive.

Location was beautiful. Service was good. The rooms could have been updated just a little. They need to add more outlets to the room. We had some stains on the carpet, and the door to the room did not close right. All said though I would come back for vacation to enjoy the surrounds and the shops.

Old world experience with superb food. The creaks and groans of of the old mansion just add to the charm. Make no mistake, it's a last-century place. Smallish rooms, smaller bathrooms. But everything is so pleasant you'll enjoy it anyway. Great ground. Paths, gardens and views. The food and the bar are first rate. I'd go again if I get the chance.

Wow what a great place to stay! Everything was fantastic. Staff is very pleasant from check in to check out. Avi the chef is amazing… roasted butter nut squash coolada. … coconut meatballs and smoked prime rib are to die for! We were part of the hiking group to the top of Mt. Willard … we were the first guests to be part of this package. In our opinion it was fantastic and something they should continue. Kelley, Tyler, Tim, and Avi other employees joined us on the hike. It was great to get to know them as well. Michael makes great watermelon martinis… this is a must try! Overall highly recommended this place! And we can wait to go back. Beth & Artie.

My wife an I went to the Manor for dinner this past Saturday evening. We have eaten there several times before so we were familiar with the type of menu offered and especially appreciate the dynamic and always changing fare. The waiter that looked after us was exceptional. He was very attentive and engaging. He handled the fact that the kitchen had run out of a couple of items that we selected in such a manor that if that hadn't happened we would have missed out on his wit and enjoyable interpersonal skills. If only all of the same things could be said for the meal. To describe the entire culinary experience as "very average" would be most appropriate. The salad was small and lacking dressing, the French onion soup was flat and the onions bordering on mush. My wife's tenderloin was not tender and lacked any real flavor either from the meat itself or the seasonings. My chicken saltimbocca was tender but had no discernible flavor profile to it. Given my expectations of Stonehurst, I was quite disappointed with the meal. But not the waiter.

My husband and I loved room However, as we are getting older, the Jacuzzi tub is too high for us to climb over. Maybe if there were handrails, etc. It would be possible to get in to at least to take a shower. We had a fire in the fireplace, which was great. Dinners were fabulous. I had Veal Oscar-perfection, Espresso encrusted Sirloin perfectly prepared, and a special Seafood Neuberg — wonderful. Breakfasts were good when I chose their specialty like French Toast Framboisee — French toast stuffed with marscapone cheese and seedless raspberry jam. Regular bacon and eggs were not that good. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We especially enjoyed Donna, our waitress most nights.

Stonehurst Manor! Was so great. Very pretty outside and inside. All the staff were very polite, food was wonderful and so was the service. The room was elegant and loved the Jacuzzi! The grounds were so pretty and loved the giant chess set. Would go back again we had a great stay. Price was good for all we got. So many great tourist places right near the hotel and ice cream places were yummy. Loved the Settler's Village Shopping Outlets. Down town North Conway Shopping and area was so nice.

My wife and I stayed at Stonehurst Manor July 23-24. The experience was first rate! Michael made our library time most enjoyable. As dog lovers, we were overjoyed to see Daisy playing her role as Lady of the Manor. Our meals were five stars and all staff very helpful and friendly. Our room 24 was beautiful and the bed so, so comfortable. This was our first visit to Stonehurst, but is will certainly not be our last. See you next summer.

So this place is odd. The martini bar made us great Ketel One martini in huge glasses for only $12 each. (That was at least 4 tips at $3 apiece at the state liquor store). The lounge is amazing, but they had CNN on instead of some nice jazz or something (like I said strange). On to dinner, mussel appetizer, was not that good and we forgot to order it right away (but only about 5 minutes later) and it came out basically with our food. So that was a waste. My meal was awesome, braised beef, but again my wife salmon was over cooked and strangely prepare. They but mashed potatoes on top of the salmon and the salmon sauce on top of the potatoes. More money wasted. The service was poor as well. Between the martinis, dinner, and tips it was a $150 night, which would be fine if we could have enjoy the mussel and they didn't bosh my wife’s meal. We’ll go back again, but probably just for the martinis.

We visited the Manor in June 2014 for a wedding, we stayed a few nights as a mini vac a weekend. The event was beautiful, the grounds were perfectly manicured, and the views were spectacular. The food was AMAZING! We had the pleasure of trying the duck, prime rib, lamb, and a pasta special for dinners all highly recommended. Breakfast hasn't been the same since I tried the stuffed french toast. The hot tub was perfect! We enjoyed the view from the chairs as well as a few games of chess. High recommended Thank you Stonehurst for an unforgettable weekend.
