We stayed for 2 nights with our teenage girls and absolutely loved our stay. Rod & Linea were very gracious hosts as was Nana! Excellent accommodations with delicious breakfast each morning. We’ll be back in the future.

The owners are very pleasant and make you feel right at home with recommendations to various restaurants and attractions in the area. The rooms feel like a room at grandmas house so inviting. Breakfast was amazing fresh from local bakeries! Make sure you try Tuckermans Tavern its a two minute walk and so worth it. We will be back next year!

Arrived with a family of five, the kids absolutely loved it. Downstairs game room with air hockey, ping pong and a private movie theater. Amazing blueberry waffles for breakfast and after sunset a bonfire with s'mores. Great place for a family to spend time with each other. Highly recommended the owners were amazing. Very nice place to stay in New Hampshire. Colse to mountain Washington base, if you planning on taking train ride from Cog railway, and other activities. The breakfast was excellent made fresh right in front of you. Very nice owners. Place is warm, cozy and feels like visiting your family member. Lots of activities on site for kids. Play room with ping pong table and more, theater and seasonal pool. We definitely enjoy our stay and would go back.

Rod and Linea are wonderful hosts, and always make our family feel welcome. Our girls love to hang out and play games, and we enjoy their comfortable atmosphere. Rod's waffles are one of the best kept secrets in New Hampshire. The rooms are comfy, and they have several family suites available.

The owners make this place. They are so nice. They do everything and they love it. Firepit at night with s'mores and then a movie. In the morning, a delicious breakfast and coffee made from a place right around the corner. Just go and relax.

I have no recollection of visiting the field house, though Google says I did. I'm sure it's tremendous. I probably shouldn't be reviewing it… but I'm positively addicted to sharing my opinion and love being rewarded with extra points (that do what exactly I'm not sure) for being wordy. Ok Google… show me the points!

Everything was just great! Hot tub was soothing after our ski trip, rooms and facilities were clean, our king suite was the perfect get-away, and the old couple were so warm and friendly. I would love to stay here again.

Great little place to stay within a 10 minute drive to Attitash. Amenities are top notch, breakfast is great, and the owners are very kind and helpful. Rooms are a bit small, and walls are thin, but it's well heated and there's a comfortable, homey touch in everything.

It had been well over ten years since my last visit and the owners remembered me. The accommodations were fantastic and my boyfriend absolutely loved the waffle breakfast. You also can't beat the price and location. Home away from home!

Awesome, we've been coming here for almost 11yrs now. Super Family friendly and convienant to attractions and shopping. Rod and Linea are great hosts and treat us like family. Our kids were very young when we started and there all adults now and still won't go anywhere else. Don't forget the waffles, we stoppedgoing out to breakfast along time ago there do good!

We love the old field house. The comfortable homey environment is perfect for our family. Staying at the Old Field House is at least as much fun as whatever we're staying there for.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Loved everything about this place and the owners were such kind people! Our room was so cute and the bed was super comfy. Great pool and hot tub. Will be staying here next time I'm in the area for sure. I highly recommend!

The most cozy inn to be at. So family-friendly with heated pool, Jacuzzi, playroom, gameroom, and movie theater. Lynnette and Rod, the hosts, are so sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend as we've been coming for a few years now.

I just love this place, which feels like home, not like hotel.

We loved it! Rob and Linea Hopwoods own the place for the las 13 1/2 years. Their hospitality is superb. The facilities are modest and they have everything you need. Heated pool, jacuzzi, game room, theater room, s'mores by the fire pit (weather permitted), sun room and the mountain views. They include breakfast in the sun room. Scrumptious blueberry waffles. We loved it!

The owner is simply awesome, the best lawful you get ever and the facility is absolutely amazing with swimming pool cover it and hot tub and even A small sandbox for the little ones. At 7 PM Fire pit and smores. Love the Stroehlein ❤️

Rod and Linnea are practically family to us now… We have stayed here a handful of times now. We first came across them because we needed a place for a night and it was reasonably priced so why not? The place itself isn't fancy, but it is definitely cozy. First thing I thought was hygge… And they are Swedish and completely get the concept! Rod cooks up the most memorable waffles in the morning that my husband and I go off diet for it every time! They have a downstairs rec room that the kids just love and make new friends there. We have felt so welcomed and at home each time we gave stayed there, I can't imagine going anywhere else when we go skiing in North Conway area!

Booked this place last minute, and unfortunately was only able to get one night as it was completely booked. We didn't really know what to expect, but instantly upon arrival we loved it. It's just off the main strip in North Conway. The owners are incredibly nice and the Old Field House is very quaint and welcoming. We brought 3 kids with us and normally hotels are not really good for young kids. This place was amazing for kids. They had pool and hot tub with toys, as well as toys for playing in the yard. Then they had a camp fire with s'mores followed by a kid movie in their theater room. Our kids had something to do from the minute we arrived. The rooms were very clean. The "icing on the cake" was their homemade breakfast. From scratch Belgium waffles with strawberries, incredible bread, real scrambled eggs, really good sausage, and more. We loved this place and definitely plan on coming back and staying more than one night. Thanks for the stay!

Staying at the Old Field House feels like you are staying with family. Rod and Linea are wonderful hosts. The last time I went I had some time down time between hiking and dinner so I actually hung out at the campfire with Linea and some other guests and roasted s'mores. Breakfast the next morning was perfect for the famished hiker. I would definitely go back.

One of my favorite places to stay in the area. Love the owners, their breakfast chat and their dogs.

Clean, family friendly environment! We absolutely loved the old field house and we just booked it again for a mini getaway in February The breakfast and homemade waffles and owners make you feel as if you never left home.

My father sent my husband and I here for a weekend and we LOVED it, such a cozy feel and the hosts are so nice and welcoming. We made reservations to go back next year!

Great inn for families; perfect location near ski areas (Attitash, Wildcat, Cranmore, even not that far from Bretton Woods). Rod and Linea, the proprietors, are super nice; they treat you like family. We stay with them at least once a year for our ski trips. They have a game room, movie night for kids, and hearty breakfast (with homemade waffles) included. X-C skiing and snowshoeing right out the back door too, as well as a small heated pool and outdoor hot tub.

I have never went to a hotel/motel and felt like it is a second home before. Old Field House is truly a second home. Kudos to the owners! The couple have made sure that they treat the visitors like familly. The place is well maintained, has lots of amenities and is very relaxing. They have a nice breakfast spread (complementary) daily. The view from the dining area is great. Every single collectors item / decor that you can find in the lobby and in the common area is very well thought through. A small outdoor pool, a hot tub, movie night daily and a few hammocks in the yard. Talking about hospitality, the owners are very friendly and very helpful. I had an emergency issue at work while I was staying there and had to logon to the network. My laptop broke and they gave their laptop to help me connect. They were very concerned and were able to relate to my situation. Very rarely do you get to see such nice people these days. We were there only for a night and we were so thrilled about that place that we made sure that we will stay there for at least a couple of days this fall or winter. And we are looking forward to it. Needless to say, my search for a hotel in New Hampshire has come to an end.

It was our first stay at the Old Field House. It was nothing less then lovely. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. The hosts were very nice and easy to have conversation with. The children loved everything about it. We were nervous about staying, but it seemed that it was mostly families with Storyland aged children. I would love to stay here again.
