We were married here 7 years ago and came back to stay for our anniversary. So disappointed. Restaurant is boarded up, elevator had stained carpet and had odor of alcohol and cigarettes. We get to our room, hasn’t been updated in years, bed like a rock — called down to ask if they had a room with better beds available (give them a shot) they said they can’t help as they outsource reservations — we ended up leaving — it was so bad we couldn’t even stay. Worse than a motel 6. We called and spoke with manager who had horrible customer service skills. Will never return, what a disappointment — the place used to be beautiful with great food and great employees. (The check in people were very kind) the management was horrid.

Carpets in facility were stained and worn, elevator smelled like a smokers break room and the bed was uncomfortable. There is no restaurant or food available in the “Grand” hotel and you have to drive 20-30 minutes just to get to a restaurant. When we brought the issues up to staff they were unable to help other than to offer an identical room. Had to wait 5 days just to talk to a manager who said they weren’t willing to help any further than reimbursing for half our stay. We ended up not even staying due to the conditions. There are much better hotels in the area that actually have amenities, are clean and cater to customers like they should.

Very decently priced hotel in great location. Great rooms. Awesome outdoor pool. Very friendly staff. Only downside, almost no phone service in the area but that’s not the hotels fault.

The room smells terrible, the beds are Murphy beds and extremely uncomfortable, and nothing in the lobby. It actually looks vacant. We're in the middle of nowhere. Maybe it's better during winter months, but summer is definitely not the time to be here. We've been here about 30 minutes and are leaving.

Beautiful location! Enjoyed the gym and sauna. Hotel was clean. Nice pool. Really enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were slightly outdated and definitely geared toward winter guests (large storage for gear/large doors) but room was very clean and the kitchenette was an added bonus. Room had a Murphy bed so wasn't the most comfortable but not a deal breaker for us.

I had my prom here and the service was amazing, everyone was happy to help anytime something went wrong, I would gladly stay here for the night anytime.

Nice rooms, slopeside on Attitash, from efficiency to penthouse. New Owner Management Team looking to be better than ever.

This Place is Amazing when it is not in a Crisis, but currently it is. The Managers have closed down everything except the Pool, and they have no Food Right Now. It will be over soon, and when it is, you will all have so much fun! I would recommend it, just not for the next few months. I've been here before, and it is Really Great! Love it and want to come back. Great reception, staff, place, room and public areas. Super familiar style but we can have peace and silence.

The Grand summit resort is the place to stay for ski in and ski out. The room was clean and comfortable. View of the slopes. Good breakfast.

Excellent hotel, great staff, nice pool and hot tub, the breakfast restaurant was really good and the grill was just as good. Access from the ski mountain is a quick easy trail that brings you right to the hotels free ski check. Definitely staying again.

The food at the bar is great along with the service. Good tap selection. Nice, newly renovated place.

Great location right off a trail. Friendly, helpful staff. Book a stay midweek (at least in the winter), and you'll have the place almost all to yourself.

I wasn't expecting the master bed to be a hide a bed in the wall. I was told I was purchasing a bedroom with it's own door and a queen pull out sofa. My excitement quickly turned to frustration when I realized I had been taken. What a New year! Thanks Attitash. Needless to say we will not be back to Attitash Grand Summit hotel.

I stayed for one night preseason. Was a low occupancy night but I found the room to be spacious clean and well appointed. Nice hot tubs and pool. A bit generic decor. Decent breakfast and conveniently located for slope access.

Room was quaint, cute, and had all amenities we might have needed. Restaurant down on the ground floor was great, the amount of food I got for the price was wonderful and I was unable to finish my food. The valet guys were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Check in and out were super easy with no issues. The patio out back of the first floor was great, we made a small snowman but someone knocked it over in the morning. Overall a great stay and would certainly go back again.

I stayed two nights for a professional conference. It was during the off-season, so I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 (I assume things are better during the season). The location is perfect, no issue there. However, the staff (except the pub/grill staff) seemed indifferent, and in some cases were flat out rude. Food was not good. I ordered an omelet from the 1st floor restaurant that was disgusting (no salt, soggy veggies). The bar/pub food wasn’t much better. The lunch served at the conference was awful day 1 (think sandwiches Mom made for you in 3rd grade), but decent day 2. My room was the worst part. The fridge kept making loud, random banging noises. I barely slept the first night because of it. Day 2 started with a cold shower. Then there is the pullout bed…

I visited Attitash for a work retreat. The double rooms were a bit odd with a pull-down bed and a pull-out couch. Not terribly comfortable. The food provided by the resort was, in a word, terrible. Unidentifiable (some kind of meat? ) pasta in a greasy nacho cheese like sauce and canned corn with pickled jalapenos were among the highlights. Dessert was the same tortilla chips served with dinner sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon (wish I was joking). There was only salad as a vegetarian option for most meals. If you have an event here, I'd advise against using their catering. It was unanimous among the organizers of the event that we will not be returning mostly for that reason. Despite all that, it's a beautiful location and I had a great time even if I went a bit hungry.

Beautiful Hotel that is reasonably priced and close to nearby attractions and ski areas. We stayed in late September which made for a incredibly quiet stay. The common areas and room were immaculate, staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Included breakfast was a very pleasant surprise that was far better then most resorts you stay in. The only negative I can list is the bed was very uncomfortable. SInce this is a subjective thing I won't take any stars off for it, but it did make for a long night when one of us had to sleep on the floor. The staff accommodated us by sending extra pillows and blankets but that wasn't enough to make it tolerable. The fact that I still list as 5 stars despite this shows just how nice a resort this is. Although the ambiance of the hotel probably varies depending on the tourist season, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the grand summit hotel to anyone visiting the White Mountain area.

Clean updated rooms. Quite a distance from town, and attractions. Lots of kids staying here with their family's. (Noisey) Crisp clean mountain air. Concierge not helpful. Beautiful views. Restaurant has a limited menu, but service good. Drinks run $10. Staff is friendly.

Clean hotel. Helpful staff. Close to highway and shops. Great ski area. Very nice off season for weddings and weekends away. Hotel offers a variety of rooms for your needs.

This was a great place to stay at. The staff and workers were all very accommodating and excitement pleasant. The continental breakfast was delicious. A wonderful place to stay.

We've stayed here a couple of times, each time we have been lucky to get a suite. The first time it was a nice suite. This last time, however, we got a suite with a Murphy bed, which isn't bad, it was just unexpected and a slightly less nice room in my opinion. All the staff is friendly and the food at the hotel restaurant is good.

Wonderful vacation. Staff was so friendly and down to earth. Immaculate rooms and the flower gardens were beautiful. We loved the pool with built in hot tubs and the sauna was big enough for a large group. We hiked to a different waterfall each day. Storyland is just 10 minutes away too. Kids loved it all.

Overall the stay was enjoyable and the staff was friendly and helpful with wonderful attitudes. The issue I had during my stay was more on the side of maintenance and general construction. My girlfriend and I were kept up all night our first night by our upstairs neighbors, we could hear every footstep. I'm addition, the shower head in that room was loose and would keep pointing the stream of water almost straight down, which makes it awkward for someone of my height to take a shower (6' 4"). The following morning we politely asked for a new room with no upstairs neighbors, we were quickly accomodated and moved to the third (top floor) with a balcony.

Have stayed a few times. Safe, family friendly, heated pool. Breakfest was good, restaurant for dinner was good for N. H. Looking to come back for summer 2016 to bring fam to story land.

The room was awesome, and the staff was very polite. In addition, our AC unit broke, and before leaving for the day, we asked for it to be fixed. It was fixed before we got back. Awesome!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our suite was clean and very spacious. The a/c took a little while to work but it got there in the end.

Getting a little dated, their business office with printer (a closet really), was quite neglected. Pool area needs some touch ups on concrete.

Room was very accommodating, pool was great, sauna was hot, no steam room anymore.

Food was ok, place was ok.

Very clean and homey hotel. Started fir a conference and would go back for a weekend getaway. Buffet food was just ok but the diamond grill had good stuff.

The rooms are well put together and uniform. A large outdoor pool and two hot tubs really make the difference after a long day of skiing. The ski in/ski out is great, and complimentary ski check makes keeping your gear safe easy.

Room was very nice, the pool was a hit with the whole family.

This place is FANTASTIC. I think this because it has a beautiful interior. Their breakfast and dinner is an all you can eat buffet. Its heavenly food, as well… Eggs, bacon, French toast, pancakes, waffles. The rooms have a nice balcony that you can view the pool (at least our room did. ) We spent a lot of time in the heated pool, socializing and playing with other kids. The hot tub is very comfortable. I would seriously recommend this if you are staying in northern New Hampshire.

Meh got a handicapped room. Desk staff friendly. Not much on site — lots in the area.

Bedroom was OK, although both the sofa bed and the murphy bed creaked every time you moved, therefore not a very restful night. The black diamond grill is nothing more than a shop with 4 or 5 tables selling coffee and muffins. The dining room was supposed to be "upscale". Well if you consider sticky wooden that rock, with the bar right behind you, I obviously don't understand upscale. The food was mediocre and the waiter was not very helpful. As guests one would expect to be able to charge your food and drink to your room, not so "as the computer can't link to the front desk"! Having no cash on us, I had to go back to the room to get some to which the waiter said to my friend, "is she coming back". Reception looks good and the front desk were very helpful but let down by their dining options. Not to be recommended.

We stayed here one night since we extended our stay to NH but could no't stay at our original hotel. The front desk person was very accommodating, but told us our one bedroom would have a queen sized sofa bed and a murphy bed, in addition to the king in the bedroom. The room only had a queen sized sofa bed, a small couch that did not pull out but even if it did, they didn"t give us sheets for it. I do have to say they were great about letting us get in and put our stuff in the fridge before we went to Storyland — I completely appreciated that. However, after a long day at Storyland we went down to the restaurant to eat and were more than irritated that the waitress was less than helpful with my son"s food allergies. I don"t expect restaurants to be clear of his allergens, but most places are somewhat helpful. The attitude out of this girl was frustrating and was so bad that we left — and all I wanted to know was what was in the mac and cheese. (After leaving we went to the Red Parka Pub on Rte 302 in Glen and not only were they helpful with allergies, but they have an allergy book that lists all the ingredients of everything on the menu and if we had issues with anything, would work with us to find him something he could eat. Night and day difference! ) Overall, this hotel is a bit overpriced and not somewhere we"ll be staying again. We should have just drove the three hours back to MA after Storyland.
